00:00Aaron Glenn just came out and said when asked who his starting quarterback is going to be
00:05that he is now going to go have a conversation with other coaches who have experienced this
00:12type of situation before. Let that sink in. He's not going to sit there and watch film
00:18with his own coaching staff and realize that his choice to be starting quarterback ain't good
00:24enough to be a third string quarterback in the NFL. He's not going to do that. No, he's not going
00:30to talk to the owner. He's not going to talk to his offensive coordinator. He's not going to talk
00:34to the leadership council of players that exist inside the Jets locker room. Oh, no, no, no. He
00:40is going to go find other coaches who either are currently coaching or used to coach who had a
00:47quarterback problem. And he's going to ask those guys, what did you do? That tells you right then
00:53and there. If you're not capable of making this type of decision, then you are not capable of
01:00being the head coach of an NFL team. And I got nothing but love for Aaron Glenn. He's a former
01:05Jet. I was happy he got the chance. When I was asked by all these media outlets as one of the
01:10more well-known Jet fans in the media, what I thought of it, I said the same thing I always say.
01:16I treat new head coaches the way I treat airline pilots and the president of the United States of
01:22America. And that is this. I may not know you. I may not like you, but I'm rooting for you.
01:28And that's how I felt about Aaron Glenn. I had no idea if he'd be good or not, but here's the results.
01:34Zero and seven. You haven't won a game and you're not even competitive. And then when asked a very
01:40simple question, you've got one guy here who clearly cannot play football. You've got another guy here
01:47who plays a little bit better. Not much, but a little bit better. This is an obvious answer.
01:54Tyrod Taylor is my starting quarterback this weekend. Period. Stop. Because Justin Fields
02:00hasn't earned the right to be my starting quarterback again because he doesn't give me a chance to win.
02:06But he can't do that. And he hems and he haws. And now the answer is, I need to go have conversations
02:15with other head coaches outside of this organization who at some point in their coaching career
02:22have experienced a situation where they've a lousy starting quarterback and an average backup.
02:28Like, why are we talking to anybody else? Aren't the empty seats in the second half
02:33enough to convince you that you need to make a change? Isn't the fact that you have become the
02:39laughingstock of the NFL enough for you to recognize you have to make a change? And the change I make
02:47now includes everybody. The entire coaching staff, Gonzo. My new GM, Gonzo. And if I knew enough people
02:56who could cobble together about $10 billion, I don't. But if I could, I would. Because it is time
03:05for Woodrow Johnson to sell the New York Jets. The fact that us as fans are celebrating and wishing
03:14for an 0-17 season should be all that you need to hear. You're a lousy owner. You're the worst owner
03:21in the history of New York sports. And that includes the Wilpon family who mismanaged the Mets for 40
03:28years. You're an embarrassment. You're a disgrace. And you don't deserve to have on a business card
03:36Woody Johnson, owner of the New York Jets, because we deserve so much better.
