03:28hadith department of Medina I used to spend about twice a week a few hours with him so one-to-one is
03:33the best then sitting with scholars like shaykh Abdulaziz, Torefi then shaykh Salim Unajid, shaykh Zadu you
03:42know so one-to-one is the best it is multiple times better than taking classes for hours and days together
03:49or sit or reading books for weeks and months together so best is if you have a scholar who's
03:57well-versed and a willing to give one-to-one it's the best if not then classes halka durus like when
04:05my son was studying in Riyadh in Jamud al-Imam he was there for about six or seven years he used to attend
04:12four times the week the classes drus of shaykh Abdulaziz, Torefi and even other shaykhs that classes
04:20is so the second media or after the one-to-one you come to the media one-to-one or classes or
04:29drus or lectures now also if you can attend lectures live lectures of some dive does a better impact than
04:36reading books or hearing videos so one-to-one if you cannot then classes if not classes then live
04:42lectures you may be one in a few hundred or one in a thousand but did the impact is different like
04:49watching a live football match is different than watching on the television but naturally the live
04:54session has a greater impact hearing and I or a scholar then seeing the video or reading his book

05:15can get knowledge from the books in terms of depending on what you like whether you like books

05:35best book you can read it is a glorious Quran if you don't know Arabic as a language read the translation
05:41in the language you understand the best best is the Quran read as many times as you can the more you read
05:47the more you love it the more you'll get attached to it whether it's five times ten times hundred times
05:54you will not get bored believe me it's a unique book it's the word of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

06:18seerah of the Prophet and one of the good books seerah is the regular most to it's available in
06:24translation in English and other languages also then the books of hadith of course the Bukhari Muslim
06:30but it's difficult for a layman so you can start with it's a book talking about the rulings hadiths
06:37that relate with the things which are prohibited and things which are permitted etc and then you can go to
06:45books of other hadiths like Bukhari Muslim firstly the summarized version is short and the new version
06:50that has come out jami kamil when all the say hadiths have been collected together and the duplicates have
06:56been removed it is sixteen thousand four hundred fifty six hadith in my it was compiled by a sheikh
07:03dr. ziraman azmi who was one of my first earlier teachers in hadith so that if you read you can safely
07:10say that I've covered all the say hadith available on the face of the earth if not all almost all you can say safely
07:18and depending upon your liking whether you like science whether technology you can read books Quran and
07:23science again books on compatible religions the number two category is books third is audio you can hear audio tapes or DVDs
07:33of course now very few people listen to it but there are occasions for example driving a car if you're
07:39driving a car you cannot watch the television it's not allowed but you can always hear so if you're
07:44driving a car and regularly you go to your work and you're driving for one hour up one hour down half an
07:49half half an hour down whatever it is you can utilize this time by hearing the restoration of the Quran or
07:54hearing the translation of the Quran or hearing talks given by top scholars and duats talking of the

09:08world population and alhamdulillah it's viewership of more than 100 million all all the four languages put
09:14together and among the English channels the best I would recommend is is peace TV English and very
09:23knowledgeable the other I am aware of about three satellite channels which are international channels
09:29that's covering many foreign countries number one is peace TV covering at one time 95% 95% of the world
09:36population the other satellite channel worth mentioning is Huda TV so it's not covering 85% of the world population
09:43but are covering many many countries of the world and since I'm sorry since last few years it's also beamed on
09:53interest at 20 so yes I'm wrong now since the last three years it is going to set alone cover 70% of the world
10:02population it's it's it's it is weird that when I speak with people who side the English channel where the channel okay only in USA where only in UK they fail to realize that the majority of the Muslim speaking English audience where is it it's in the Indian subcontinent in India Pakistan Bangladesh so people they start channel and if you're starting a channel only beaming in the Gulf
10:31country how many English speaking Muslim in the Gulf country how many English speaking Muslim in the Gulf country hardly any today the Muslim population is more than 2 billion out of which one third of the Muslim population 650 million are in the Indian subcontinent India Pakistan Bangladesh and do you know in India Pakistan Bangladesh alone
