00:00Kiev residents expressed disappointment on Saturday after U.S. President Donald Trump
00:06signaled he was leaning against selling long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
00:12Many Ukrainians believe the missiles could be a game-changer in helping bring Russian
00:17President Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table.
00:30While Trump had previously suggested he was considering sending the missiles, his tone shifted
00:50after he held a lengthy phone call with Putin on Thursday.
00:53He also announced he planned to meet with Putin in Hungary in the coming weeks.
01:00Thousands were left without power across Ukraine on Saturday after overnight Russian drone
01:06strikes hit multiple energy facilities. Regional authorities in the regions of Kharkiv
01:13and Chernihiv reported damage to energy infrastructure that caused blackouts to residents.
01:18The overnight attacks killed one person in Kharkiv, a 58-year-old man,
01:24according to the regional head of military administration.
01:27In Zaporizhia, an educational institution caught fire after it was struck by a Russian drone.
01:33But there were no reports of deaths or injuries.
01:37More civilian infrastructure was also struck in the Poltava region,
01:41damaging several houses as well as vehicles, according to regional authorities.
01:46It has become common for Russian forces to increase attacks on energy infrastructure ahead of the cold winter months,
01:54which Ukrainian officials have denounced as weaponizing winter.
02:01A Polish court on Friday blocked the extradition to Germany of a Ukrainian man
02:05suspected of involvement in the 2022 attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
02:11The 46-year-old suspect, identified as Volodymyr Z,
02:15was arrested near Warsaw in September on a German war.
02:20German prosecutors allege he was a trained diver who helped place explosives on the pipelines,
02:25but his lawyer says he denies the charges.
02:28The Warsaw court rejected the extradition and ordered his immediate release.
02:34The ruling follows statements by Poland's Prime Minister, Donald Tusk,
02:38that handing the suspect over was not in Poland's interest.
02:43Tusk said earlier this month that the real problem was that the pipeline was built,
02:48not that it was blown up.
02:49The suspect is one of the two Ukrainians sought in the case.
02:54A second suspect arrested in Italy also had his extradition halted by a top court this week.
03:04Prince Andrew gives up his royal title of Duke of York,
03:08as well as other honors after his friendship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein returns to the headlines.
03:14The news comes ahead of the late Virginia Roberts Jeffrey's memoir,
03:20due to be published on Tuesday.
03:22Jeffrey alleged she was trafficked by Epstein and had sex with Andrew when she was 17.
03:28Claims Andrew denies.
03:30In a statement released by Buckingham Palace on Friday and with the agreement of his brother, King Charles,
03:36Andrew said the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family.
03:43In 2019, Andrew had already stepped down from public life over links to Epstein,
03:50despite denying any wrongdoing.
03:57Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has been shooting new fountains of lava from its summit crater.
04:03The U.S. Geological Survey shared that record-high fountains of lava were measured for the ongoing eruption,
04:12which has been taking place at semi-regular intervals since late last year.
04:17The latest episode began on Friday night, and is the 35th episode since December.
04:25Scientists believe they are all part of the same eruption because magma has been following the same pathway to the surface.
04:33The fountains from the south vent at Kilauea's summit crater soared nearly 500 meters into the air,
04:40taller than New York's Empire State Building.
04:44The USGS added that the plume of gas above the fountains extended to over 5,000 meters above ground level.
04:51The USGS is now produced.
05:03The USGS is now showing up on Friday night at Kilauea.
05:06The USGS are now cripto-cataty real estate in high-rise microwave,
