Lisburn Councillor takes over the reins at Cafe Vic Ryn

00:0021 years ago I opened Cafe Vikram here in Lisburn and with very few staff and

00:07such a beautiful restaurant, a beautiful space that we had created here and today

00:15I have some news for you. In some ways sad and in some ways exciting. Exciting

00:22for someone else because today I'm going to hand over the reins to someone who I

00:28have trained up from every department of the business and it's my time to watch

00:34that person shine. So as from Thursday there I handed the reins over and I'm

00:42very pleased to do so. I know it's in good hands, he's got a great team behind him

00:47and I wish him all the best and I want to introduce you too. So I have decided to

00:54hand the reins over the ownership of the cafe to Caleb McRae Guy. Yes Caleb you've

01:02been here for 15 years now. That's right. You've been around every department, you

01:06started up in the bakery upstairs and you've gone around every department, you

01:11know every department inside out and for the last few years you've been my manager

01:16but I think that I can trust you to carry on what we've been doing here for 21 years.

01:23I'm so excited for the next chapter. I want to thank Jacqueline for the fantastic

01:28opportunity that she's given me to take over ownership here at Cafe Victim. Jacqueline has

01:34been a fantastic mentor to me over the last 15 years, has brought me to this point in my

01:39life and I'll never be able to always be indebted to her. But it'll be fantastic not

01:46just for me as the owner but obviously for the team here at Cafe Victim. It'll continue

01:52their employment here and that we can continue the fantastic service and food

01:57that we offer and we want to thank you as customers who have come in over the

02:01years and we hope that you can continue and to come support us in the future. So we

02:05want to thank you so much for everything that you've done for us as

02:08as customers and we hope to see you soon.
