00:00so let's say what I want to do is I want to go ahead and display out data in percentage value
00:12so for that what I can actually do is type in the information in point right here just like this so
00:18it's 0.76 as you can see right here so now in order to display this as percentage all I need
00:25to do is go to the home tab and click on the percentage sign right here apart from that I can
00:30also go around and type in 54 and use the percentage symbol right here press enter and then what happens
00:37is that this data type is set to percentage just like this as you can see right here I can also go
00:43around over here and let's say for example set it to percentage first hand and then go ahead and type
00:49it in as well and then you get the percentage sign if I were to go ahead and change it back to general
00:55then you can see that it reverts back to the point value so let me just go around onto percentage
01:00right here apart from that you can also go ahead and increase the decimal point and decrease the
01:06decimal point right here just like this uh for the percentage value right here so it can be
01:11something like 76.41 right here just like this and then you can see that this is a percentage value
01:19and you can go ahead and increase and decrease this out to round them off as well just like this
01:25so that is how you can go ahead and show up the percentage value in cell so if I were to go around
01:31and type in 76 point uh let's say for example 89 percentage right here just like this you can see
01:38that there's the decimal value but as soon as I go ahead and then decrease out the decimal you can see
01:45that the last digit right here is 9 so it is rounded up and you can see 9 right here if I were to go
01:51around and decrease the decimal value again it's rounded up and now you can see 77 so you can see
01:57that as I increase out the decimal value you get those value back just like that as well and that
02:03is how you can work around and show percentage value inside of microsoft excel so if you guys found
