00:00If you want to go ahead and make basic calculations in Excel, then you can use
00:09simple formulas for it. For example, I'm going to go around and type in some
00:14numbers right here. Let's say I want the sum of these three on this cell. In that
00:19case, you can press equals right here that denotes that you're starting to
00:23write a formula. And then once you do that, you can go ahead and click on the
00:27cell and that is what you have. Press the plus button and select the other cell
00:31from where you want the data. Then press plus again to create an addition and
00:35select the third cell as well and press enter. And then you can see the
00:41total right here just like this. If I were to go around and type in, let's say for
00:45example, 543 right here, you can see that it dynamically updates right here. You can
00:50also go around and let's say for example, see from A1, this is my data. So let's
00:57say I want to subtract out A2. So I can say A1 minus A2 plus A3, then you'll get
01:03the similar result. So I can go around over here and then you get the final
01:08result right here, just like this, as you can see. Apart from that, you can also go
01:13around over here and then multiply this out right here. You can add in
01:17multiplication as well. But for that, you need to go ahead and add an asterisk
01:22right here. And if I were to go ahead and pull, this is what you have, as you can
01:26see. Apart from that, I can also go ahead and divide this out right here. Like let's
01:30say for example, I can do A2 divided by A3 and then you can see that this is what
01:35you have right here. Apart from that, you can also go ahead and let's say for
01:39example, add in simple formulas. Let's say for example, I can say something like sum
01:44right here, open up the bracket and click and drag this out and this is what I have.
01:50So if I were to go around over here, you can see that this is the sum that I have
01:54right here, just like this. Press equals and then if I were to type in any letter,
02:00then you'll be able to see various formulas right here that you can go ahead and add
02:05in as well, just like this. For example, I can even find out the maximum number out
02:10of these three by typing in equals max right here, open up the bracket and select out all
02:17from A1 to A3 and then you'll see the maximum value right here out of these three cells is
02:23543. If I were to go around and type in min right here just like this, then you get the
02:28minimum most value just like that as you can see. And that is how you can go ahead and utilize
02:33simple formulas for calculation inside of Microsoft Excel. So I hope you found this video useful.
