00:00so in excel seat first of all in order to get started you need to know about the formula bar
00:11right here so let me just go ahead and use use this zoom slider right here you can go ahead and
00:17zoom in and out of the cells right here if you were to go ahead and use it right here let's say
00:22i want to go ahead and add some data over here on this particular cell in that case you can simply
00:27click right there and then let's say for example go ahead and type in whatever you want you can also
00:33go around over here and click and let's say for example i'm going to type in something like apple
00:38right here then you simply have that right there so now in the formula bar if you were to go ahead
00:44and click right here whenever i type something you can see that it is actually added in the formula
00:50bar right here when you simply go ahead and type in straightforward let's say for example i'm going
00:55to say 56 and 56 right here then you simply have the straightaway value but let's say you want to go
01:02ahead and add those or apply formula to those then you can have something like a dynamic cell using that
01:09formula itself so let's say for example in this particular cell right here i want to go ahead and
01:15add these two numbers in that in that case i can press equals so whenever i press equals right here in
01:22the formula bar while selecting a particular cell that means i'm going to go ahead and enter out a
01:28formula so over here i can select d2 right here or type in d2 which is the cell reference for this
01:35particular cell then i can press plus and then select d4 let's say for example right here just like this
01:42press enter then you simply have the addition value of d2 and d3 as 112 as you can see right here just like
01:50that and that is simply how you can go ahead and use the formula bar to enter out data and then add in
01:57basic addition formula inside of excel and this is basically how you use the formula bar and as we
02:04progress along the course we're going to go ahead and utilize formula bar to go ahead and create and
02:11make different calculations as we need so if you found this video useful so be sure to hit the like
