00:00So over here, you can see that I have this workbook right here, which I made using a template. But if
00:12you want to go ahead and create a new workbook on your own, then what you can simply do is go around
00:17onto the file menu and then go to new from over here. And from over here, you can choose a blank
00:23workbook or you can go ahead and search for a template. Let's say for example, I'm going to go
00:28around and search for a Gantt chart template right here. So I'm just going to go ahead and search for
00:34Gantt chart. And you can see that there's a Gantt project planner, which I can choose to go ahead
00:39and create it. And once you go ahead and create it, you need to make sure that you save this
00:44workbook out as well. So to do that, I'm just going to go around over here onto file. And then I'm
00:49going to go to save as and then I can go ahead and browse this out to the location that I want.
00:55So let's say for example, I want to go ahead and save this out to my desktop. So let me just go
01:01ahead onto my desktop and then hit the save button right here. And that will be saved out. You can
01:06also go ahead and enable to automatically save this in one drive as well. But in my case, I just want
01:14to save it to my desktop now. And this is what you have. And that is simply how you can go ahead and
01:19create out new workbooks as needed inside of Excel apart from the one that is already open. So hope
01:26you found this video useful. Be sure to hit the like button. Don't forget to share this out with
