00:01:26fired off fantastic i'm a little bit disappointed there's no smelling salts but i'm not gonna i'm not

00:01:32gonna start the morning off that way we've we've started uh i think three or four different shows

00:01:37now that we're on with smelling salts uh including the big boys club second episode just dropped

00:01:42yesterday completely unhinged yep um you should definitely go check it out not safe for work i will

00:01:48say that um not at all not as nice megan what's up girl how we feeling i'm feeling great uh money

00:01:54corner went four and two last week so let's go ready to have a callback at any moment god so it's

00:02:02kind of funny that giant cup in front of you it looked kind of normal when big t was there it looks

00:02:08uh even more comically large with your rather petite self back there that is amazing all right guys

00:02:15um let's go ahead and dive in i think we're gonna start with thursday night football then we'll get

00:02:19into playoff baseball and we look we talked to sean o'hare about it yesterday man the nfl is just

00:02:25such a funny game this is now two thursdays in a row in which on paper it looked so clear who was

00:02:31going to win this game and yet the complete opposite happened and last night it happened even more

00:02:37emphatically than it did last week as jackson dart and cam scadaboo continue to be one of the most

00:02:42exciting young combinations in the entire league the giants put it on the eagles 34 17

00:02:48mikey give me your biggest takeaway from last night dude it's jackson dart he's unbelievable yeah

00:02:54scadaboo boo i love him too oh yeah dude the way he runs the football it fires me like as an

00:03:00offensive lineman i would love for him to be my running back you would have loved getting to talk

00:03:04to sean o'hare yesterday because that's exactly what he was talking about as well right when you're

00:03:08blocking for a guy that loves contact as much as you do it just gets you going i love it he had he

00:03:14had on that final touchdown drive he had the the sweep to the outside where he bodied zach bond and

00:03:19then he bodied him again to get in the end zone yes really badass stuff from uh cam scadaboo last

00:03:25night i just wonder how he fell to the fourth round i mean this guy you saw him in college dominant

00:03:30yep i don't see how so i'm not a gm by any means how does that guy fall that i don't know i'm with you

00:03:37on that he's in that he's gronk in a running back's body i mean i i okay i'm gonna i'm gonna

00:03:43be stereotypical here because i don't know if this is true i'm guessing his testing numbers maybe

00:03:49weren't like the craziest right yeah might be considered a kind of sneaky athletic guy yeah

00:03:54uh but yeah i mean look go watch the texas game in the playoff last year yeah like arizona

00:03:58state was getting their ass whipped and he almost single-handedly beat one of the most talented

00:04:02rosters in the entire country and he's carried that and his energy is infectious yep like you see

00:04:06wandel robinson getting up and like he's gonna they're just all doing the scadaboo right now

00:04:13and when dart and when dart went into the blue tent scadaboo's like oh yeah dude you good like

00:04:18let's go that like 10 minute span where he went into the tent and dayball was like talking to the

00:04:23doctor he looked like he was going to kill that doctor okay wait i think we actually have this

00:04:28footage because this is one of the hidden funny moments russell wilson comes in for one play

00:04:33this dot talk everybody's like what to get the c off that man's chest dude dayball's freaking out

00:04:43we gotta get dart back in here bro get him out the tent asap uh that that is maybe what i because i

00:04:50love dart right now his legs are the difference yeah even though he makes he's he's making good

00:04:54reads which is impressive and he has a lot of moxie uh i guess i'm a bit concerned about using his

00:05:00legs that much in his 17 games i know season i know it's it's the unfortunate part of football

00:05:05you can be one of these great exciting quarterbacks i mean he had the play last night where he straight

00:05:09up launches himself great ball too right uh that was a great ball to trust in the tall yeah he's

00:05:15always leaning with his head yeah he's going out of bounds i'm like dude you're about to get lit

00:05:19kind of saw this last year with drake may as patriots fan i've watched him very closely and he

00:05:24a lot of times he he just didn't really have that wherewithal to like not go down yeah yeah and you

00:05:32kind of see that with dart but it's also like you love that out of your quarter yeah for sure well

00:05:36it's it's it's a weird thing because yes exactly you you you encourage it but then all quarterbacks

00:05:41eventually learn learn you you you learn how to kind of mitigate it a bit right because like joe burrow

00:05:48you know that he was a massive no slide guy back in college i think it was one year in the nfl before

00:05:53um yeah he had one one year behind that o-line that just let him get eaten alive and he's like

00:05:59you know what maybe maybe i'll protect myself a little bit more i hate the bingles offensive line

00:06:03yeah so that's the giants perspective and that's where i wanted to start right because i always like

00:06:08celebrating the winners and darts a young first round pick giants look like they knocked their

00:06:12first round picks out of the park right now between him and abdul carter from the eagles perspective

00:06:17a second loss in five days after not losing in over 220 days um it's weird because when jalen hurts

00:06:26is winning you kind of accept all of his flaws but then the second he loses it's jalen hurts sucks you

00:06:32know he misses davante smith the the read at the end of carnell flop was bad he had aj brown one-on-one

00:06:39he didn't see him um like like look at this play right here davante smith streaking wide open

00:06:44no good they also couldn't do anything with third downs like usually they're they're able to

00:06:51you know tush push whatever like they just were i think one for nine on third downs a lot of uh look

00:06:57the giant stevens is very good especially that pass rush burns is an absolute animal and they had them

00:07:02it's because philly wasn't on schedule last night a bit surprising given the given how they came out

00:07:07running the ball um but that's what the advantage of getting to a lead like uh like new york did

00:07:14the other big story from last night's game is the tush push four in a row four in a row um it once

00:07:23again you know there was like false starts on it that they didn't call but basically it started up

00:07:28the conversation once again whether or not the tush push should be illegal uh dana do you have any great

00:07:35feelings on this i don't love it but like it's why ban it you know it's it's just it's football

00:07:44it's football i agree dude you can't stop it like it's not pretty but they can't stop it why i don't

00:07:50get i don't get all like when people get all pissed off about running the tush push four times like

00:07:54if you can't stop it why not keep running it it's like why can't every team do it why can't every

00:08:00team do it if it works it works i don't understand i don't like i don't like when people complain

00:08:04about it it's like it's a football play it happens if you can't stop it then learn how to run it

00:08:09better than the eagles exactly it's kind of the ultimate football play in many ways exactly

00:08:13football distilled down to its purest essence i think the problem is going to be

00:08:17is that at the end of the day the nfl is not just football it's entertainment that's true right it's

00:08:25it's it's why they have made all the rule changes to protect quarterback it's why they made all the

00:08:29rule changes to incentivize offense because points get views and whatnot and that's going to be the

00:08:36piece of leverage that the anti-tush push crowd really tries to put their strength behind is that

00:08:44it's a bad viewing product i don't think that's fair though i mean i get entertainment purposes but

00:08:49at the end of the day these guys are being paid to win games that's right it's from a purely football

00:08:54perspective i don't think anything needs to be changed like if you're a defensive coordinator if

00:08:59your defense figure it out figure out a way to stop it yeah if you're an offense from another team

00:09:03figure out a way to do it better and entertainment wise of course it stinks it's not fun to watch it's

00:09:10not pretty but football it's just it's tough it is gritty it's not pretty i will feel like if it's

00:09:16your team you find it very right i would love yeah yeah the patriots had a tush push uh i mean it's

00:09:23what four maybe four to five plays out of 65 that offense will run throughout the game yeah so it's

00:09:29like i mean colleges do it like everyone does it it's just the eagles are the best at it they're just

00:09:35the the the the kind of deep irony to me is it's basically what we all yelled at our teams about

00:09:42for years right was wait if it's fourth and inches why are we handing it back to the right back why are

00:09:47we why are we in shotgun like why don't we just sneak it they said it whenever i see a shotgun i'm

00:09:52like i start freaking out it's so frustrating that was basically our entire childhood was like why

00:09:58don't we just sneak it right you can't and then somebody finally syriani company i think when they

00:10:03were in indy actually finally uh came up with it was like wait we could just do that now they've

00:10:08done a great effect um they still lost by 17 points yeah i so this is the last thing i want to

00:10:15highlight on this game and it's the fact that that score the four tush pushes in a row was to go up

00:10:2017 13 and that's bully ball that's lean on him right get after him the next drive before half you

00:10:27know the giants you know how you respond 15 plays 67 yards six minutes off the clock and right before

00:10:35half you take a 2017 lead yeah it's like that was the statement drive of the night right there guys

00:10:40yeah that's bullying the bully that's academy that star that's everything that's why the giants

00:10:45won the football game last night i love to see it i love this this dark guy man it's i said it a few

00:10:51weeks ago on here i said why why are we playing russell wilson why is he sitting there on the bench

00:10:56and you see this guy he's he's a gamer he's just a gamer and it does beg the question with a lot of

00:11:02these rookie quarterbacks it's like why bury him there's the there's the brady every now and then

00:11:08behind blood so there's the rogers behind farm every now and then right my philosophy is if you have

00:11:14russell wilson or jackson dart you go dart as soon as you possibly can i agree well and and maybe look

00:11:20they wanted to give dart i guess a little extra lead time and really russell had kind of just

00:11:24played himself out they allowed he had that four play series yeah they're one good game though

00:11:29that was the worst that we've ever seen he did he'll always have the cowboys congratulations

00:11:33russell wilson um i think we got to start worrying about these eagles a little bit though i mean these

00:11:38this saquon the last two games six carries 12 carries yeah and not good gains he hasn't been good

00:11:44all year they're beat up i mean the future i don't think is too bright losing broncos giants back to

00:11:53back they could have lost to the buccaneers yeah honestly they had the crazy comeback against the

00:11:57rams as well they could have lost to the rams they haven't looked good this year at all i know

00:12:01the super bowl hangover and everything but when do we start worrying about these guys i would say that

00:12:06i was not worried but we did just see two years ago how quickly the collapse can come with this

00:12:13franchise yeah i mean what they were they 10 and 1 before they uh maybe 10 and 0 even before

00:12:18everything fell apart and they fired everybody and we're done with syriani they won super bowl

00:12:22so it's actually very hard to parse whether or not you should be worried about the eagles well it's

00:12:26crazy though because if you look back that means the giants lost to the saints yeah hell yeah that's

00:12:31right who that so are the not that bad nothing makes sense we all dude yeah the nfl is crazy

00:12:37and it's sunday dude uh but all right so great night in the league last night uh great night in

00:12:43baseball as well a couple of big time playoff games uh the the cubs i mean the cubs forcing game five

00:12:51heading back to milwaukee all their way octigley in full effect wrigley rocking and again some first

00:12:58inning magic i don't know what it is the cubs bats dead for the vast majority of the time just find a way

00:13:04in the first inning this time it's ian happ stepping up with a three-run homer to set the tone

00:13:08only for once they finally avoid giving it straight back to the brewers and a comfortable win for the

00:13:15first time really almost this entire playoffs for chicago yeah and i said this last night watching the

00:13:21game in the gambling cave the first inning cubs are like one of the best teams ever i think me phil

00:13:28tweeted as well that like this would be the greatest postseason team if it was just an inning game

00:13:33and i they're incredible something that we highlighted yesterday too megan oh that oh look

00:13:40at that i mean he that's a no doubt a rocket shot crowd going crazy oh the vibes but one thing we

00:13:46highlighted yesterday going into this was you're going to win a championship you're going to go on

00:13:51a magical run when you get deep into these series uh your staffs are going to be taxed and somebody's

00:13:57going to have to step up in a way that they have not previously if you're if you're going to do

00:14:02something magical uh offensively the cubs probably in horton has been incredible this season but then

00:14:06how about boyd last night in a day and age i mean again it's not one of those old school long starts

00:14:11but to give you nearly five innings of scoreless baseball it's massive no definitely massive there

00:14:17um so for me i had this cubs game on i was watching it on the score app i saw that first inning saw

00:14:23him go up immediately then switched to the phillies game and was flipping back and forth as soon as

00:14:28halftime of the the eagles game was watching the phillies game that was a game that had all of my

00:14:34attention last night i was i was steady checking on the cubs i'm so happy for the city of chicago i'm

00:14:39excited it feels great to live here in this postseason run but that phillies dodgers game

00:14:45had me in a chokehold yeah it was an insane game dodgers end up winning in insane fashion

00:14:51two one bottom of the 11th um bases loaded two outs any base any base right it's the classic

00:14:59little league thing any base but on the biggest stage anything go wrong and kirkring look at the

00:15:04catcher you say no just throw to first throw to first he tries to go home no good any like i know

00:15:10he panicked and he just but if you look at there's a wide shot picture i mean the base runner going to

00:15:17first is maybe 25 feet away from the back man he would have been out by four to five strides no

00:15:23look i mean because again it's situational baseball the catcher the catcher's just assuming okay look

00:15:28he like the catcher wasn't even set up to make a play and he was like short-armed it too like his

00:15:33throwing motion was so weird he like babied at home like fire that thing the first and if you

00:15:37overthrow it at first you can live with that but this you just look at this oh you gotta and this is

00:15:43the stuff kids need to watch who want to be pitchers pfp is so important it's you have to

00:15:49have good pfp what is pfp uh pitcher fielding performance oh practice i'm sorry uh my uh my

00:15:56roommate was a big pfp guy in college shout out rouge all right we can all sit here how have i never

00:16:05heard of pfp and everybody here has a classic pfp story you're not a seam head we can all kind of sit

00:16:14here and talk about what we would do in that situation but if we're being honest in that

00:16:19scenario i think we all panic hundred don't know it's such a split second decision and you're looking

00:16:26right at you that you would think the easy play is just throw it right in front yeah well it's a

00:16:32crazy crazy just like scenario to be in it kind of makes me feel bad for the city of philadelphia

00:16:38yeah i want to get hard to do i want to get a tough night for philly yeah like like data said i

00:17:04he had fielded it cleanly yeah or when it bounces off the glove then does everything just kind of

00:17:09panic everything breaks in your brain i think just go on instinct i think the breaking of the bat might

00:17:15have also thrown him off because like with that bat shattering you're not expecting it it's loud it's

00:17:20scary a lot of weird you don't know where it's splintering at like i i get the reason why there

00:17:25was a mistake but you can't make it in that just not and what a six days i feel so bad for the fans

00:17:32of philadelphia sports i mean connor penn state loses to ucla the eagles lose for the first time in over

00:17:39200 days on sunday you lose all three games or you lose three games in total in the nlds to get

00:17:45eliminated and on the same night not even five days later from that first eagles loss you get a

00:17:50second eagles loss to your most hated rival in the new york giants and what's funny is before that

00:17:56saturday pretty charmed existence oh absolutely like everything was good even with the oregon

00:18:01loss that hurt but whatever you still had the eagles your phillies are still kicking ass and now

00:18:06everything has fallen apart in less than a week full collapse full collapse so bad i mean max

00:18:11crashed out last night which were which was a valid crash yeah valid for sure i mean i you just got to

00:18:17feel for the boys it's it's tough but horrible the life of a fan really a horrible way to feel that

00:18:22bad for them they just won a super bowl yeah penn state went deep in the playoffs yeah the phillies

00:18:27have like made world series yeah they can they can they can freaking suck it up they'll survive i i i'm i'm

00:18:34glad that they're struggling i i want every major market team to lose i want new york to suck i want

00:18:39l-lay to suck i want boston to suck screw all you coastal elites philly get the hell out of here

00:18:45that's right dana get out of here okay i'm about the tiny market team i'm a blessed fan my the first

00:18:50game i ever watched was uh 2001 it was rams patriots week nine and from there on i've been i've seen six

00:18:59super bowls i've seen two nba championships i've seen four world series and a stanley cup

00:19:04it's what i'm talking about guys i'm blessed when i was a kid when i was a kid boston fans were

00:19:11hard scrabble and unlucky and now they're just fat and happy up there in their golden trophy throne

00:20:00beers as uh they have teamed up and in their intense erudite sagacious planning have decided

00:20:09to create content that is unrivaled and will boggle the mind irrigate erudation erudite and

00:20:17sagacious oh i just move on from that they have officially decided to belly up to the bar

00:20:24for a 12 hour young session coming up tomorrow watching college football yes boys uh you had

00:20:32quite the system to choose the landing spot here so dana posted so we've had this plan for two weeks

00:20:37now uh-huh um this is one of the most anticipated things of my life and so dana posted a story the

00:20:45other day on his instagram hey swipe up and tell me like your best bar suggestion because we're looking

00:20:51for not quite a dive bar and not quite a full sports bar right in somewhere in the middle like

00:20:59four to five tvs great bar chairs great backs on them on the chairs gotta food yeah food bar food

00:21:06lower back's gotta be protected over 12 hours exactly so dana posted the story i reposted it i

00:21:11made a spreadsheet i had about in excel like no on paper okay okay and in paper but uh yeah about

00:21:17about 50 50 50 to 55 bars and i categorized them with so how was the tv setup i was i need to read

00:21:26some of this off how was how was the um incredible was it crowded yes or no and the vibe so i would go

00:21:34look at each bar and grade them based off of that um some bars like were too bougie for me and dana's

00:21:40liking so that was an immediate off yeah um if it looked too like college crowd you know like

00:21:47oh this is an lsu bar this is an iowa bar that was kind of off the list because we knew saturdays

00:21:52were probably going to be very crowded it makes so we're looking for like an older crowd but still

00:21:57have some life in it but just i want to read some of these notes here for uh yes spreadsheet

00:22:03let's hear what our uh our two smartest boys have cooked up here's what's under tv situation good

00:22:10not great uh under crowded eh one of them in all four columns that just says i like this place

00:22:21so so wait so so the idea of a the word spreadsheet is doing a lot of heavy lifting here

00:22:28it's yeah it's not it's four columns and then as as you look at the paper i really spent a lot of

00:22:34time in the first 20 yeah and then i just go no yeah maybe i'll talk to dana we got a good slate

00:22:41of ball to watch we're gonna eat a lot of food we're gonna mix in some waters we're gonna make

00:22:46sure we're just ready to roll for 12 hours we're really just gonna treat our bodies like absolute

00:22:52garbage and there's a uh there's a hawaii game at 10 59 yes i don't know potentially we might be

00:22:57there at that point what's the key to surviving a 12-hour belly up to the bar yug session don't

00:23:03try to force anything i'm not gonna put liquor on dana oh heavens no and we're just gonna be

00:23:08drinking straight beers have like maybe 10 to 12 beers then maybe mix in some food another 10 to 12

00:23:15maybe mix in a little app yeah and then finish off you know with the last 15 or so what um what

00:23:21are we thinking just a little like like domestics yeah yeah crafty yeah no no i'm gonna go like you

00:23:26gotta i mean like if you're gonna go that long are we like domestics are probably strike you as

00:23:29craft guys oh you strike you as an ipa guy we're not so i don't know dude sometimes sometimes the

00:23:36i don't know i don't know i am like i can't be more excited we're gonna delete beers yeah yeah i would

00:23:41say for longevity go four beers water and like mix in a water there's the mom in you can i say uh

00:23:48pi uh s uh i don't know yeah i'm gonna pee a lot okay yeah yeah you can pee a lot yeah yeah yeah

00:23:57you can definitely say that for sure but it's gonna be i mean i and then we said because this is

00:24:02also our brain like we're gonna mix in some brainstorming for me and dan's future events

00:24:07together so there can be some insane ideas 12 hours of brainstorming like bro what if we did like 16 hours

00:24:14it's gonna be awesome and there's a cubs game it's in milwaukee but the city's gonna be buzzing

00:24:22it's gonna be awesome we got the bearcats on we got the hoosiers on it's gonna be a lot of big games

00:24:27yeah that y'all are gonna get to uh and when you look at it probably indiana oregon the premier game

00:24:34this weekend mikey of course you just playing center for that indiana playoff team last year

00:24:39it's been a great year thus far battling undefeated this is a chance yeah for indiana

00:24:45to prove themselves on the biggest stage you want to be in the big three in the big ten

00:24:50this is it right here mikey well i think we are in the big three because ben state lost too but

00:24:55anyways um yeah i'm nervous we're going to eugene um i'm just really nervous for the front four of oregon

00:25:03they are some of the best groups in the whole country i know our offensive line i know coach

00:25:09bosett's going to have those boys ready to go but it's just about sustaining the blocks for as long

00:25:15as you can against a very very good front oregon has a great front they have great pass rushers on the

00:25:21edge bear alexander and number 52 i forget his name but he's going to be a first round draft pick

00:25:26interiorly how are we going to match up with these guys i'm excited for the opportunity

00:25:32i think if we give fernando time we have the one of the great one of the best wide receiving

00:25:36cores in the nation our defense has been playing great i just we got to get the big one we got to

00:25:42get there yeah y'all got to avoid what happened in ohio state last year which was a mixture of

00:25:48the the pass rush for state winning and then just critical errors the block on punt for derby touchdown

00:25:52you got to be solid i know face i know guys maybe the best quarterback matchup in the entire country

00:25:57we're talking about fernando mendoza and dante moore two top five rated quarterbacks in the

00:26:02entire country we also got alabama mizzou this can be an early one oh yeah for you boys this will be

00:26:07at the beginning of your beer journey 11 a.m at mizzou a three-point spread here and this is very

00:26:14similar in that this is a similar opportunity for mizzou to prove that they're one of the better

00:26:20teams the entire country and try to go over here and for alabama to prove that they can still keep

00:26:25going yeah they had the bad loss but how can they come back from that i think kalen deborah is doing

00:26:30a great job obviously it's hard coming from the nick saving era but i think he's doing what he can and

00:26:35i i'm excited to see what they do here at missouri i think if you just look at these two teams on

00:26:40paper and you take away the the name of alabama this should be missouri i think they're the stronger

00:26:46team they have an awesome running back yeah mod hardy's the man they should win this game they are

00:26:51favored they're at home i mean it's just alabama just has that they have that that moxie that moxie

00:26:58with their name but well they have the intimidation yeah they have the intimidation of the history of

00:27:03uniforms yes but this should be i believe this should be a missouri game to bama can't lose this

00:27:08game no no no their schedule's too hard if they lose this game it could in there it could it could

00:27:13potentially ruin their season uh but mizzou doesn't get enough credit for how football crazy that

00:27:18school is that state is eli drink with some building up how about this mikey 292 rush yards

00:27:25a game for mizzou right now 292 second seat 200 so not even close wow but they have not faced a team

00:27:34like alabama yet that's gonna be massive and then probably the third game that you want to highlight

00:27:38here is going to be the fox big noon kickoff we're going to break it down next in the film session

00:27:49matchup we're going to talk about julian sane and luke altmeyer another two guys currently top five

00:36:42somewhere if you want to do something beating alabama is your ticket to do it i think i think

00:36:47it's a prove-it weekend for missouri it's a prove-it weekend for indiana can they go to oregon and prove

00:44:38one of the most underrated places in the country uh lsu gets all the shine tennessee gets a lot of

00:44:47but auburn don't let auburn get caught in the shuffle there auburn is a tough place to play i think

00:44:52auburn has a very good chance to beat the georgia bulldogs but you've been high on auburn the last

00:44:56three weeks uh i was high on i was i was i was high on them going to texas a&m they lost 16 to 10.

00:45:04i just think uh it's more it was a gross 16. it's more being low on georgia and high on uh

00:45:10high on the fact that that is a rivalry that you can throw out the record books and it's just

00:45:15something it's it's a tough spot for georgia it's another je ne sais quoi game where you're not really

00:45:21going on paper but you're saying okay eight wins in a row in a series like this eventually that's got to

00:45:26end and it's night it's a little nighttime college football magic under the lights how college football was

00:45:32meant to be played brendan can i ask you as the number one college football expert in the universe

00:45:37sure question about college football please i'd be mad if you didn't um what team so far do you

00:45:42think has the best body of work just in terms of quality wins miami it's miami the miami hurricanes

00:45:48they have the most ranked wins the teams they have beaten have acquitted themselves pretty well

00:50:46rattled like like p crow armstrong after the game said that was you could tell that it bothered him

00:50:52and ian hap hits the big home run and it was just it's there's something about being in a crowd and not

00:50:58having a you know because i think a lot of times what happens with today's day and age you get the

00:51:03uh jumbotron tells you when to clap yeah you got the people to you know hey we got to do this we got

00:51:09to do that at this point there's a music going on in the middle of an nba game this was completely

00:51:14organic it started somewhere who started it it started somewhere around uh the 200 level between

00:51:21third base and home home and it just started and it's slowly and like i like the woman in front of us

00:51:27was like what are they saying it's like freddie and then it was it was just for the rest of the

00:51:30night it was just on i was even practicing for i was keeping my freddies warm when the cubs uh were
