00:00Hugo, 1-1 draw against Braintree. Does that feel like one tonight that could have been all three there?

00:05Yeah, I think we created enough chances to score more goals.

00:10Just a little lapse in the second half allowed them and this is what this league is.

00:15If you give teams half a chance, they'll take it.

00:18We created enough chances, we put enough balls in the box.

00:23We should and could have scored more goals but we didn't and that's football, I'm afraid.

00:28How's the feeling in there? A bit of disappointment?

00:31Obviously, you had the chances and it's one lapse, isn't it?

00:34Yeah, of course. They're human beings, the players.

00:37They're disappointed that we've drawn the game and not won it.

00:41One point is better than none but we definitely feel that we should have been a little bit more clinical

00:49at the other end of the pitch taking three but we didn't.

00:52We've lost the last two games before tonight so we've put a little stop to that run

00:56and we've got to recover quickly now and get ourselves ready for what's going to be

00:59a very, very hard game on Saturday at Southend.

01:02As you say, it's a point on the board and you can obviously look to build on that

01:06when you go to Southend really, can't you?

01:09Yeah, it's a tough place to go, Roots Hall on a Saturday with big crowds.

01:14But look, we'll recover as quickly as we can and we'll train Thursday and Friday

01:20and get ourselves ready for the game Saturday.

01:22It's the best that we can and that's what we're here to do.

01:25Ryan Jones came off in the first half, looked like a shoulder injury.

01:27Obviously, it's early at the moment, isn't it?

01:29I think his shoulder popped out and then popped back in again.

01:32I've not seen him so I can't give you any more information than that right now.

01:37Half-time, what were the thoughts going into that second half?

01:40Well, we just felt that our shape needed to be a little bit better,

01:46a little bit more consistent.

01:47We felt that we weren't making enough forward runs.

01:50We've put a lot of crosses into the box tonight and it didn't land.

01:58Maybe the quality wasn't quite good enough or if you went straight out of play,

02:02that sort of stuff.

02:03So it was just to try and add a little bit more quality.

02:06Can we get a goal and build from that?

02:09We just felt that we weren't running forward enough, certainly from the 10s.

02:13I think we were a little bit better at times in the second half.

02:18J-Mo's gone through with the sort of run that we were encouraging

02:22and he was unlucky not to score.

02:24But yeah, that was generally the message.

02:27There were chances in that second half and obviously when you had the setback

02:31you obviously kept pushing again looking for that win, didn't you?

02:33You sort of brought Tristan on and sort of went for it.

02:35Oh yeah, you know, we had an extra player as well.

02:38So, yeah, we just think, right, we'll just chuck another striker on

02:42and see if we can nick something, nick a winner.

02:44Unfortunately, it wasn't to be tonight.
