03:42chicago police allegedly ordered officers to ignore border patrol agents calling for help
03:47after they were surrounded by by angry protesters

04:20yeah that's that's difficult to hear that to me that's jarringly terrible uh kennedy chicago pd now claims officers were there and that they were told not to stand down what do you think opposed to what we just heard
04:40i think that they're being told to stand down and it's not necessarily leadership in these cities
04:45because you know the people who rise through the ranks and end up leading these police departments they do it because they want to be cops
04:52that means they want to protect each other they want to protect their communities they want to go after bad guys
04:57uh and unfortunately if they want to keep their jobs and their pensions they're doing in chicago
05:02what they're also doing in portland and it's a lot of lip service but unfortunately
05:08things are going to get very dangerous and i think there's a way of having a conversation
05:13if you have a philosophical disagreement about ice
05:17then putting ice agents in jeopardy
05:20until one or several of them get killed
05:23you know it's like we know the climate we're in this is not theoretical violence
05:28you know these are these are unwell people
05:30who they listen to
05:32statements by people like brandon johnson
05:35and they feel it's incumbent upon them if they want to be famous to go out and kill some ice agents
05:41and brandon johnson and his administration are telling leadership in chicago pd
05:46nope you you can't go out there you can't offer any support
05:50because they're unfortunately forcing the issue
05:52so this becomes deadly and
05:55that is not the way to have
05:57an impact on policy
05:59well and for one you're you're actually increasing more violence
06:04because an agent at some point is going to have to defend himself

06:14so i really feel like when they're being told probably their jobs on the line if they did go

06:20i refuse to believe that the police just willingly at the chicago police like no we're not helping

06:51people can have those but you're not going to win more people over to your side by committing
06:56literal violence i don't think that that's a thing that happens no one's like you know what
07:01i really thought that i was for this but before i do i want to hear what all these people ramming
07:06vehicles and charging officers with weapons have to say
07:09it is obviously very dangerous and like you said this isn't theoretical we've seen political violence
07:14hype and we know what the climate is like and it is dangerous and not only is it dangerous
07:18and wrong but it's also not even helpful for what these people their aims at the aim it only ever
07:25makes the opposite point of view stronger because it makes people more sympathetic to ice agents if
07:31they're coming out there and having their lives in danger and the fact that they didn't open fire
07:35because they could have you know and it's something bad's gonna happen something bad's gonna happen

07:46how can they argue that it's not i mean what do you think do you think there is there an angle where
07:51they could say it's not true it clearly happened no i mean like if you look at what we're seeing now
07:56where you know we've been lied to by a lot of the people on the extreme left for so long
08:01where it's now becoming this access of stupidity because we can see the call or hear the call
08:08uh we heard that no we're not sending anyone there and when i heard this story my first thought was
08:15like okay so the police chief is probably on the same payroll as the protesters but it actually starts
08:22at the top i mean our elected officials they have to serve the public or at least they're expected to
08:28serve the public and the most disturbing thing in this is that this person in the vehicle was insane
08:35because she was trying to kill people with her vehicle right ice agent not ice agent again
08:42these are human beings with families and who's to say that after she was done with ice she wasn't going
08:48down the street and for the mayor and the police chief to let this happen that is completely ignorant
08:54and i think they should both be relieved of their positions immediately
08:57every every time violence happens with a gun the extreme left comes out with we gotta get rid of guns

09:29are there looking for criminals and it's just shocking to me that these elected officials who
09:36have no skin in the game really they're not running out there they're not dealing with anybody they're
09:40just sitting in their office saying stand down because it looks good politically to whom i guess
09:44that's the question is because i don't see anybody really cheering unless it's the paid protesters

11:34are ignoring an attack on someone or charging the wrong person the innocent person who fought back
11:42and they're worried about losing their job sometimes that happens in a job sometimes you have to make
11:47the right decision and you a lot of people were challenged to make the right decision during covid
11:52you know and they didn't follow along out of principle and uh sometimes that happens and in
11:58those in those situations i don't want to just let them off by saying it's their job it's like
12:03you have a responsibility as a human being too and uh to just ignore people being shot at because you were
12:10told not to or or a car ran at them or assaulted or you know what's what's happened to some reporters
12:16in in portland oregon is shameful and i don't want to let them off that easy yeah because i'm
12:22yeah great point see i knew it i knew you would tighten this bad boy up because i have a feeling
12:27if you put on your job resume ran in to protect people and was fired from it i'm pretty sure that's
12:34going to be something they're like we need to hire this guy yeah but they're they're worried about

12:43to one detective in portland who works with portland police department there and he said it's membership
12:49versus leadership like membership was disgusted at what happened with nick sorter and if leadership
12:55is going along with the mayor and the da because they have been backed into a corner they've already
13:02had a lot of their funding taken away they've had departments completely shut down and they're
13:07trying to have this big rethink of law enforcement that you know you're you're seeing the end result

35:19tell you it exists and you know the fact supports that austin said pointing to a graph that showed a
35:26clear racial divide and who voted for trump as opposed to who voted for harris
