00:00Praise Him, praise Him, all your little children. God is love, God is love. Praise Him, praise Him, all your little children. God is love, God is love.
00:19I think this is going to be it for today. Maybe some are stragglers and coming late. But today, children, my PowerPoint changed your left momentarily. Let me do this myself now.
00:35Today is, what is today? World Communion Sunday. Now we talked about it a little bit in the prayer, but what do you think we're all doing on World Communion Sunday?
00:49What is it? Communion, yes. And not just Communion, but where and who? All around the world.
00:59All around the world.
01:02All around the world.
01:07Yes, yes. Now, World Communion Sunday is exactly that. We celebrate Communion and it is celebrated around the world.
01:14I want to show you a world map roadway. That's a little small. I was hoping it'd be bigger.
01:18But maybe come a little bit closer, kids, so that you can see. Point out maybe some countries, maybe that you've been to.
01:25What are some countries here that you've been to that you can see? Don't tell the United States. You're here right now.
01:30Have you ever been up to Canada? Canada? Anyone? No?
01:36So, Kenzie, I think you've been to Canada once. She was a little hitty-bitty girl. How about medical? Anyone? Yeah? They did, right? On a cruise when we went to Ensenada. Yes.
01:51What other countries do you see here that you've been to? Or how about maybe countries you would like to go to someday? Let's go one by one.
01:58Kenzie, what country I have you not been to that you would like to go to someday?
02:03Italy. He's been to the Philippines.
02:05He's been to the Philippines.
02:07He's been to the Philippines. That's okay. Well, what was it?
02:10Andy and Ellen, have you been to the Philippines? You've been to the Philippines? Okay.
02:14How about any other countries here that you might want to go to?
02:16Japan.
02:17Japan. Yes, of course. Everyone wants to go to Japan someday.
02:21Katy Perry, any countries that you see here that you might want to go to someday?
02:26Say it.
02:27Also Japan. Yeah, why don't we just take a field trip to Japan one of these days?
02:32Now, I just want to go through just some of the country, or let's go through all the continents of the world just so you understand where we're coming from.
02:40We are in this continent which is, I mean it's already here, you can read it, but we are in which continent?
02:46North America.
02:48And if there's a North America, further down is called?
02:52South America.
02:53South America.
02:54It's like America, but South, as you remember in the movie up, right?
02:58A little bit more East.
03:00This is?
03:02Europe.
03:03Yes, very good.
03:04South of Europe, we have the continent of Africa.
03:08And even more East of Africa is?
03:11Asia.
03:12Southeast of Asia is?
03:14Australia.
03:15Australia, or some call it Oceania, is the other word for it.
03:19And you can't see it here, because I think it got cut off.
03:21But what is at the very bottom?
03:23Antarctica.
03:24Antarctica.
03:25Now believe it or not, there are people that are there from time to time.
03:28So not, you know, just penguins and things of that sort.
03:31But the most important thing to note is that everywhere around the world, children, and children who were once children here, that are in front of me.
03:41But jokes aside, there's a verse I want for us to read together, big children and little children alike.
03:48Let's read together.
03:49For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.
03:581 Corinthians 11, 26.
04:02What is this telling us?
04:03It's telling us that every time we have communion, as often as we do it, whether it's today as World Communion Sunday, whether it's every first of the month like our church tradition does, or some other church traditions, whether they do it every Sunday.
04:18But guess what?
04:19Sometimes you might be involved in certain ministries where you can go to, say, the elderly in like a convalescent home or hospital.
04:30You could even go to a prison where you can give communion.
04:33Yes, believe it or not, prisons.
04:35They have people there that also need the word of the Lord and the gospel.
04:39As often as you eat that bread and drink the cup, which symbolizes the body and the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, what does it say?
04:50You proclaim the Lord's death until when?
04:54Until He comes.
04:56And we pray for that day to come swiftly.
04:58Come quickly, Lord.
04:59It is one of the refrains of all the church through all time.
05:02Let's fold our hands, bow our heads, close our eyes, pray with me.
05:08Say, Father God, thank you for today World Communion Sunday
05:17Everywhere around the world, people of every nation, every tribe, every tribe, every language, every culture, every expression of the faith in Jesus Christ.
05:37When Jesus comes.
05:38Comes together.
05:39Comes together.
05:40To receive.
05:41To receive.
05:42The Holy Communion.
05:43The Holy Communion.
05:44And to worship.
05:45And to worship.
05:46And bow down.
05:47And bow down.
05:48Before you.
05:49Before you.
05:50In spirit.
05:51In spirit.
05:52And in truth.
05:53And in truth.
05:55For this feeling.
05:56For this feeling.
05:57That we have.
05:58That we have.
05:59In Christ Jesus.
06:00In Christ Jesus.
06:01Our Lord.
06:02Our Lord.
06:03Our Savior.
06:04And our very best friend.
06:06And our very best friend.
06:07In whose name we pray.
06:09In whose name we pray.
06:10Amen.
06:11Amen.
06:12Amen.
