01:19The attacks and barbaric bombing since this morning have led to the deaths of 70 Palestinians, including children and women,
01:23and in what it is described as a continuous bloody escalation that is part of the war of extermination and famine that the Strip has been suffering for two years.

02:02In Lebanon, the Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Namin Kasek warned that the
02:14US plan for Gaza, presented by President Donald Trump, is a dangerous project, aligned with
02:20Israel's interests.
02:22During a speech commemorating the first anniversary of the martyrdom of leaders, pointed out that
02:27the proposal coincides with the five strategic principles defined by Israel to end the attacks
02:32on Palestine, describing it as an Israeli plane with an American appearance.
02:38Kasek asserted that the timing of the proposal's presentation seeks to exonerate Israel in the
02:44eyes of international public opinion for its crimes in Gaza, shifting the responsibility
02:49to other actors.
02:56Meanwhile, the Egyptian government will host a new round of talks on the exchange of prisoners
03:00between Israel and the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas.
03:04The authorities reported on the preparations for the dialogue, following the progress made
03:09in the last few hours between Israel and Hamas.
03:12They also stated that they are working actively with all parties to create an environment that
03:17will allow for the implementation of an exchange agreement.
03:21Cairo specified that the objective of the first phase is to negotiate the exchange of prisoners
03:26and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip.
03:29In Israel, Sadleros protested in the streets of the capital Tel Aviv this Saturday, calling
03:48for the release of Israeli hostages amidst the alleged peace plan presented by US President
03:53Donald Trump.
03:55Participants demanding an end to war in Gaza, a term Israeli public opinion uses to ignore
04:01the genocide of Palestinians by Zionist forces, which has left more than 67,000 people dead.
04:08Protesters expressed their support for the US President Donald Trump, claiming his administration
04:13had secured the release of Israeli prisoners, who they said had been victims of the actions
04:19of their own military.
04:20Let us remember that the Palestinian movement Hamas is willing to release the detainees and
04:26negotiate with Israel on the basis of Palestinian territorial sovereignty, an aspect that Trump's
04:31peace plans ignores.
04:42Moving on to Spain, more than 600 social organizations mobilized to demand an end to the genocide in
04:47the Gaza Strip, and the breaking of diplomatic relations with the Israeli government.
04:52The protesters marched through the streets of Barcelona to express the rejection of the
04:57Zionist aggression, which has left thousands dead in the Gaza Enclave.
05:02With Palestinian flags, slogans and banners, the protesters also condemned the detention of
05:06the Global Summit Humanitarian Flotilla.
05:09The march headed to Plaza Lasanes, where it will be the main gathering point for the creation
05:14of a pro-Palestinian camp.
05:24Simultaneously, in Italy, thousands of people took to the streets of Rome to condemn the Israeli
05:28government's humanitarian blockade of the Gaza Strip.
05:32Demonstrations denounced the over 450 deaths from starvation and malnutrition, including 154
05:38children.
05:39They also demanded the release of the activists aboard the Global Summit Humanitarian Flotilla.
05:52Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, hundreds of people marched in London in support of the
05:55Palestinian cause, amid police repression.
05:58According to reports, at least six people were arrested during the demonstration in support

06:20Meanwhile in France, dozens of protesters marched through Paris to express the rejection of the
06:24hijacking of the humanitarian flotilla that was heading for the Gaza Strip.
06:29The protesters denounced the ethnic cleansing being carried out by Israel against the Palestinian
06:33population, and they also demanded sanctions against the Israeli government, and an end to
06:38the Zionist aggression against Palestinian families.
06:50Now we move to Turkey, where several participants of the pro-Palestinian flotilla, kidnapped by
06:55Israel in international waters, arrived in Istanbul on Saturday.
06:59Turkish authorities said that some 137 activists from the summit global flotilla, including Swedish
07:05climate activist Greta Thunberg, landed in Istanbul at 2.30 pm local time.
07:11Upon arrival, they denounced abuses by Israel, such as being denied access to lawyers, water,
07:17medicine, and even the use of bathrooms.

07:23to the lawyers, and they say that over 450 members of the flotilla are still detained.

07:58Welcome back.
07:59In the United States, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers shot a woman during a civil
08:04protest in front of the Illinois ICE facilities.
08:07The protest in front of the ICE facilities was violently dispersed by police officers, evidence
08:13of the criminalization of the fight for migrant rights.
08:16The mobilization occurred in the context of controversial Operation Midway Blitz, a federal
08:21campaign that has recorded over 900 detentions.
08:25The operation has not only been criticized for illegal detentions, but also fuels the conflict
08:30between local inclusion policies and the federal agenda that responds to the hate field rhetoric
08:35driven by the Trump administration.
08:54Southwest Bulgaria was declared in a state of emergency after at least three people died

09:37Among the injured were six protesters and 21 police officers.
09:41During the incident, the police used water cannons and fired tear gas canisters to clear the
09:46area, after the Ministry of Interior warned that the demonstration exceeded the rules imposed
09:51by the law on peaceful demonstrations.
09:55These protests are taking place amidst the elections for mayors and members of the municipal assemblies,
10:00mainly led by the pro-Western movements.

10:38have sufficient majority to govern.
10:41The 71-year-old magnate was Prime Minister from 2017 to 2021, and Minister of Finance for
10:48the four years prior to that term.

11:29For its part, the National Association of Journalists rejected threats from Congress, and condemned
11:34the aggression against communicators in protest against the Peruvian government.
11:39The demonstrations are a response to increasing perception of insecurity and criminality in the
11:44country, as well as to questions about the political legitimacy of Boluarte, whom various
11:49sectors are accused of maintaining links with figures from the Peruvian political past,
11:53as the far-right wing cake of Fujimori linked to corruption cases.
12:04Also in Peru, a judge ordered nine months of preemptive detention on Friday for Peruvian
12:09Tony Valverde Victoriano, accused of a menace of three young women in Argentina.
12:14During the hearing, Judge Christian Chupitas, of the Schilke Preliminary Investigation Court,
12:20assessed the prosecution's request for nine months of preemptive detention for the purpose
12:25of extracting Valverde for the aggravated falminicide of three young women in the province

14:02Don't go away!
14:07Welcome back to From the South.
14:16In Venezuela, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces conducted special exercises, as part
14:21of the preparations in response to threats from the United States.
14:25President Nicolás Maduro called for this activity, detailing that at least 15,751 bases
14:31and 335 internal defense areas would be deployed as part of the training operations.
14:38During the present session, Defense Minister Vladimir Parino López assured that the people
14:42of Venezuela are united and prepared to face threats from the United States.
14:46He emphasized that these drills guarantee national stability and peace during the 2025 Christmas
14:52season.
14:53Venezuela has threatened its military readiness after U.S. forces perpetrated several aggressions
14:58near the Venezuelan coast in an attempt to threaten the South American country's severity.
15:11We now have a signed decree from the national executive regarding the integral defense bodies.
15:20These bodies, as entities of defense and non-armed struggle, must be complemented with armed struggle
15:29in case of aggression against the country.
15:33In these defense leadership bodies, everyone is involved, no one is excluded.
15:40Everyday citizens, men, women, children, youth, and all institutions participate.
15:50Likewise, Defense Minister Vladimir Parino López assured that the Venezuelan people have the power
15:56to stand up to the United States in order to defend the country's sovereignty.
16:03A power we need to confront the world's leading hegemon with all its might.
16:11But, even with all its might, with all its evil, perverse forces that tear apart the dignity
16:21of peoples, even with all that power that they have, we have the power of awareness and spirituality
16:28to stand up to it, in defense of the most sacred thing, a Venezuelan has, their homeland.
16:37So, well, it's about gathering all our strength, and tying everything together.
16:44So that it helps in a aggression that we don't want, that no Venezuelan wants.
16:50Venezuelans are fed up with sanctions, economic persecution, and blockades.
16:58They have caused enough damage to the people of Venezuela, but we also don't want military aggression.
17:06But if they dare, here is one body, one hand, one fist, one fist under the leadership of
17:15President Nicolas Maduro to defend this homeland.
17:21For his part, Venezuelan President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguez, emphasized that the
17:27military drills held this Saturday are intended to assure the militia's full capabilities.
17:34I always told Chavez, a people's army and an army is the people, but orderly and organized,
17:41knowing well what their tasks are, and that is why they have come, to take part in the drills,
17:46not only the military, but also the inclusion of the people in militia activities, training
17:52activities, shooting practice, transportation.
17:56And we have carried out operations, such as the one in the town of Cortes, to receive training
18:03and information.
18:04Then our troops from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, who are from the same town, also
18:10went with the operation from the barracks to the town, house by house, street by street,
18:17neighborhood by neighborhood, urbanization by urbanization.
18:21Today is a kind of summary to test our command capabilities, our control capabilities, and
18:29very especially our communication capabilities.
18:35In other news, cyber attacks on public institutions marked the week in Uruguay, with the Mortage
18:40Bank being the most recent victim of a growing lease.
18:44The Mortage Bank reported a computer incident while performing end-of-month closing processes
18:50on the night of September 30.
18:52The situation led to the decision to shut down the institutional network and various internal
18:57and external communication channels, to protect the information and viability of the system.
19:03This week did also emerge that the Digital Education and Inclusion program, CIVAL, was hacked
19:15by the Pampalik Group, which disclosed information on several thousand users.
19:20It previously hacked the websites of the National Prosecutor's Office and the Uruguay Masonry.
19:25On Monday, October 6, the first and only supermoon of 2025, called Harvest Moon, will appear larger
19:40and more gold than the usual.
19:42It is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox.
19:46In the northern hemisphere, it often looks warmer in color, appearing orange or amber as it rises
19:52through Earth's atmosphere.
19:54Astronomers say the event will be visible across the globe, because it is occurring at full moon,
19:59as long as the skies are clear.
20:01For centuries, it provided farmers with extra light to gather crops before the night grows longer.
20:07The Harvest supermoon also coincides with the draconate meteor shower, though the moon's brightness
20:14is likely to make the faint shooting stars harder to see.
20:17The supermoon occurs October 6, and it will be visible everywhere around the world, because
20:27it's occurring at full moon.
20:30And since the whole planet will be able to see full moon, everyone will be able to experience
20:36this supermoon event, as long as the sky is clear.
20:41The next supermoon...
