00:02:06Page B9, morning prayer number three.
00:02:09O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare your praise.
00:02:16O God of love and mercy, grant us with all your people rest and peace.
00:02:22Great is the Lord, worthy of all praise.
00:02:26Amen.
00:02:27Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor, power and might be to our God forever and ever.
00:02:34Amen.
00:02:35Be merciful to me, O God.
00:02:38Be merciful to me.
00:02:40For you and you, my soul takes refuge.
00:02:44In the shadow of your wings I take refuge.
00:02:47Until the destroying storms pass by.
00:02:50I cry to God most high, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
00:02:56He will send from heaven and save me.
00:02:59He will put to shame those who trample on me.
00:03:02God will send forth his steadfast love and his faithfulness.
00:03:07Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
00:03:10I watch this morning for the light that the darkness has not overcome.
00:03:22I watch for the fire that was in the beginning and that burns still in the brilliance of the rising sun.
00:03:29I watch for the glow of life that gleams in the growing earth and glistens in sea and sky.
00:03:36And watch for your light, O God, in the eyes of every living creature and in the eve living flame of my own soul.
00:03:45If the grace of seeing were mine this day, I would glimpse you in all that lives.
00:03:51Grant me the grace of seeing this day.
00:03:54Grant me the grace of seeing.
00:03:56A reading taken from the beginning of John's Gospel.
00:04:00In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
00:04:05He was with God in the beginning.
00:04:08Through him all things were made.
00:04:10Without him nothing was made that has been made.
00:04:13In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
00:04:18The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
00:04:23This is the Word of the Lord.
00:04:25Thanks be to God.

00:07:08And the welcome of your embrace.
00:07:11Through Christ our Lord.

00:07:16And also with you.
00:07:18Amen.
00:07:19Alright.
00:07:19There we go.
00:07:22Alright.
00:07:23Just a couple quick announcements.
00:07:26Fall soup sale is underway.
00:07:28$10 a quart.
00:07:30We got a whole bunch of great soups.
00:07:33So check them out.
00:07:35They're downstairs.
00:07:36They're all frozen and ready to go.
00:07:38Our trip to Scranton.
00:07:39There's a sign-up sheet if you're interested.
00:07:41It looks like the way the schedule for this fall is going is we're just not going to be able to fit it in.
00:07:47But we'll do it in the spring when we can see everything coming up and growing and nice and green.
00:07:54And that'll be a lovely trip.
00:07:57Our next pierogi making day.
00:08:00I see every sign-up sheet has a different day.
00:08:04Paul, are we on for the 23rd?
00:08:09It's the 23rd.
00:08:10Okay.
00:08:11Okay.
00:08:11So the 23rd of October, we'll do some pierogi making.
00:08:17Probably have a couple sessions like we did before the Basket Social.
00:08:23That way we'll have some to sell, and that'll be very helpful.
00:08:27The new Schenectady Social Club schedule is posted on the back bulletin board.
00:08:33It will also be in the upcoming newsletter.
00:08:36Please remember, if you are going to attend, to call Thursday before 2 p.m.
00:08:42We had a great turnout, wonderful time this past Friday.
00:08:46I think we had, let's see, Carol and Eileen, Linda, Ronnie, Lauren, myself, of course, Ed, and going around, Ronnie, and Amy.
00:09:03Yes, and Amy.
00:09:04So we had a great turnout.
00:09:05It was lovely.
00:09:06We're taking the place over.
00:09:08What better can you have?
00:09:11So that was excellent.
00:09:12Again, pierogi 5K coming up October 18th.
00:09:16Pet blessings next Sunday is in honor of the commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi.
00:09:24Bring your doggies and your kitties and whatever you got with you to church for a pet blessing.
00:09:31We'll do that next Sunday at both Holy Masses.
00:09:35And remember that we are starting the month of October on Wednesday,
00:09:40so we'll have the rosary every Wednesday at 3 p.m. throughout the month of October.
00:09:48See, beyond that, I will be in Scranton Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
00:09:52We have our Dias and Council meeting, and also I have to keep my eye on those seminarians.
00:09:59Oh, that's a good thing.
00:10:00So please pray for all those traveling to the Dias and Council meeting, and of course for our seminarians.
00:10:08We are just a little bit of a heads up, going to put the basket out again for the seminary donations.
00:10:15We ask you to be generous for that.
00:10:18This parish has always been generous to the seminary, so we want to make sure that continues.
00:10:23food pantries on Monday, and I think that's...
00:10:30Oh, this coming Monday is the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel,
00:10:34so we'll have Holy Mass tomorrow at noon, as well as the food pantry.
00:10:39All right, I think that's it.
00:10:41I forgot something, but that's par for the course.
00:10:45With that, let us now rise and begin our worship with song.
00:10:49To thee we come, O Lord our God,
00:11:08Be for thine altar, O Lord,
00:11:15Thou knowest best our yearning hearts,
00:11:20This supplication answered.
00:11:26Live and listen, thy people, Lord.
00:11:31Bless us, O God.
00:11:34O Father, bless our toil.
00:11:38We ask thee not for bliss in life,
00:11:44Nor golden treasures splendor,
00:11:49But that we enter in the strife,
00:11:55Christ's kingdom to engender.
00:12:00Lift up from sin thy people, Lord,
00:12:05And strengthen us, O Father,
00:12:09O Father, bless our toil.
00:12:14Under thy cross we stand prepared
00:12:18To serve thee with devotion,
00:12:23Be it with sweat of blood or tears,
00:12:30O'er humble resignation.
00:12:34For we thy people are, O Lord,
00:12:41Save us, O God,
00:12:43O Father, bless our toil.
00:12:47Again, good morning, my dear brothers and sisters.
00:12:52On this 26th Ordinary Sunday,
00:12:55We offer today's Holy Mass for Marilyn Lynn Pudkulski.
00:13:00This is the 14th anniversary of her eternal repose.
00:13:05So please keep her soul in our prayers today
00:13:10As we offer this Holy Mass.
00:13:12And the Holy Mass is offered by her loving husband, Stan.
00:13:17Today's Holy Mass in the contemporary rite
00:13:19Found on page 63 of the Tan Pumissal.
00:13:23In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:13:26Amen.
00:13:28Lord, bless us with the wisdom to praise you in spirit and in truth,
00:13:32so that by following your holy will, we may gain eternal salvation.
00:13:36Amen.
00:13:37My dear brothers and sisters, let's now pause to confess our sins to God
00:13:41and prepare ourselves so that we may worthily participate in this holy sacrifice.
00:13:47Please now complete your examination of conscience,
00:13:50confessing your sins privately to God and seeking his forgiveness.
00:14:02Have we called our sinfulness in seeking reconciliation with God and each other?
00:14:24Let us now recite the second form of the confiter as our confession, found on page 66.
00:14:30I confess to Almighty God, in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
00:14:36all the saints and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:14:40that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts, in my words,
00:14:45in what I have done or failed to do.
00:14:48I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the saints and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:14:54to pray for me to the Lord our God.
00:14:57As an act of penance for our sinfulness, before we go to bed tonight,
00:15:02let us offer up an eternal rest for Lynn on this anniversary of her passing.
00:15:08May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
00:15:14May our Lord Jesus Christ absolve you, and with his authority vested in me,
00:15:18I absolve you from all your sins.
00:15:20In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:15:24Amen.
00:15:28The Lord protects the stranger, sustains the orphan and the widow,
00:15:33but thwarts the way of the wicked.
00:15:36The Lord shall reign forever, your God Zion, through all generations.
00:15:43Hallelujah.
00:15:44Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
00:15:47Lord have mercy.
00:16:01Lord have mercy.
00:16:06Christ have mercy.
00:16:11Lord have mercy.
00:16:19Lord have mercy.
00:16:21Lord have mercy.
00:16:28Glory to God in the highest.
00:16:32Peace to us.
00:16:34We wonder.
00:16:35Lord have mercy.
00:16:36We thank you for your glory.
00:16:40Lord Jesus Christ.
00:16:44Holy Spirit.
00:16:45Father, Lord God, Lamb of God,
00:16:47we take away the sins of the world.
00:16:49Have mercy on us.
00:16:51We are seated at the right hand of the Father.
00:16:53We sing our prayer.
00:16:54We honor the Holy One, we honor the Lord, we honor the Most High,
00:16:59Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, and the glory of God the Father.
00:17:04Amen.
00:17:04Ever given, with and through angels,
00:17:10to the God of earth and heaven,
00:17:16Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
00:17:20Amen.
00:17:21Amen.
00:17:22Amen.
00:17:33The Lord be with you.
00:17:36And also with you.
00:17:41Let us pray.
00:17:44Heavenly Father, your Son has taught us that all we possess we have in trust,
00:17:50from you.
00:17:51Help us to be faithful in our stewardship,
00:17:55so that in earning we may be just,
00:17:58and in spending honorable.
00:18:01May we not seek our own indulgence,
00:18:04but your glory and the good of others.
00:18:08We ask this through the same Jesus Christ,
00:18:11who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit,
00:18:14one God, forever and ever.
00:18:20Amen.
00:18:22Let us now be seated and attentive to the Lord's Word.
00:18:26Amen.
00:18:26Our first reading is in the book of the prophet Amos.
00:18:50Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts,
00:18:57Woe to the complacent in Zion,
00:18:59lying upon beds of ivory,
00:19:02stretched comfortably on their couches.
00:19:04They eat lambs taken from the flock
00:19:06and calves from the stall.
00:19:09Improvising to the music of the harp,
00:19:12like David,
00:19:13they devise their own accompaniment.
00:19:15They drink wine from bowls
00:19:17and anoint themselves with the best oils.
00:19:20Yet they are not made ill
00:19:22by the collapse of Joseph.
00:19:25Therefore now they shall be the first
00:19:28to go into exile,
00:19:29and their wanton revelry
00:19:31shall be done away with.
00:19:33This is the word of the Lord.
00:19:35Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:19:39Response this morning.
00:19:41Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:19:44Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:19:48Blessed is he who keeps faith forever,
00:19:51secures justice for the oppressed,
00:19:54gives food to the hungry.
00:19:56The Lord sets captives free.
00:20:00Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:20:02The Lord gives sight to the blind.
00:20:06The Lord raises up those
00:20:07who were bowed down.
00:20:09The Lord loves the just.
00:20:12The Lord protects strangers.
00:20:15Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:20:18The fatherless and the widow he sustains,
00:20:22but the way of the wicked he thwarts.
00:20:26The Lord shall reign forever.
00:20:29Your God, O Zion,
00:20:30through all generations.
00:20:32Alleluia.
00:20:34Praise the Lord, my soul.
00:20:38Our second reading is from the first letter
00:20:41of St. Paul to Timothy.
00:20:42But you, man of God, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
00:20:56Compete well for the faith.
00:20:59Lay hold of eternal life to which you were called
00:21:02when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses.
00:21:06I charge you before God, who gives life to all things,
00:21:12and before Christ Jesus, who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate for the noble confession,
00:21:19to keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ,
00:21:27that the blessed and only ruler will make manifest at the proper time
00:21:33the King of kings and Lord of lords,
00:21:36who alone has immortality,
00:21:38who dwells in an unapproachable light,
00:21:42and whom no human being has seen or can see.
00:21:46To him be honor and eternal power.
00:21:51Amen.
00:21:52This is the word of the Lord.
00:21:54Praise to you, God.
00:22:13Please rise.
00:22:16He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor
00:22:44will himself also call
00:22:47and not be heard.
00:22:52Alleluia.
00:22:55Alleluia.
00:22:59Alleluia.
00:23:05May the Lord be in my heart and in my lips
00:23:06and in my word that proclaim his holy gospel
00:23:08through Jesus Christ our Lord.
00:23:10Amen.
00:23:10Amen.
00:23:14The Lord be with you.
00:23:15And also with you.
00:23:17A reading from the holy gospel according to St. Luke.
00:23:21Glory be to you, O Lord.
00:23:23Jesus said to the Pharisees,
00:23:26There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen
00:23:31and dined sumptuously each day.
00:23:34And laying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus
00:23:38covered with sores,
00:23:39who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table.
00:23:45Dogs even used to come and lick his sores.
00:23:48When the poor man died,
00:23:50he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham.
00:23:54The rich man also died and was buried.
00:23:58And from the netherworld, where he was in torment,
00:24:01he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.
00:24:07And he cried out,
00:24:09Father, Abraham, have pity on me.
00:24:12Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue,
00:24:17for I am suffering torment in these flames.
00:24:21Abraham replied,
00:24:22My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime,
00:24:28while Lazarus likewise received what was bad.
00:24:31But now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented.
00:24:36Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is established
00:24:40to prevent anyone from crossing who might wish to go
00:24:44from our side to yours or from your side to ours.
00:24:49He said,
00:24:50Then I beg you, Father, send him to my father's house,
00:24:54for I have five brothers,
00:24:55so that he may warn them lest they too come to this place of torment.
00:25:00But Abraham replied,
00:25:03They have Moses and the prophets.
00:25:05Let them listen to them.
00:25:07He said,
00:25:08Oh no, Father Abraham,
00:25:10but if someone from the dead goes to them,
00:25:12they will repent.
00:25:14Then Abraham said,
00:25:15If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets,
00:25:19neither will they be persuaded
00:25:21if someone should rise from the dead.
00:25:24This is the gospel of the Lord.
00:25:27Praise be to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
00:25:31Holy Spirit, come we ask you,
00:25:53saving grace we need from you.
00:25:58Through this heavenly revelation,
00:26:04may our stubborn will be moved.
00:26:09May we fully comprehend,
00:26:14guided by your constant hand,
00:26:19standing on your words of promise,
00:26:23we confer and praise your goodness.
00:26:30Come, we speak to the hearts of thy faith
00:26:32with the fire of thy love.
00:26:43But you, man of God,
00:26:47pursue righteousness,
00:26:48righteousness, devotion,
00:26:50faith, love,
00:26:53patience,
00:26:54and gentleness.
00:26:55Compete well for the faith.
00:26:58Lay hold of eternal life
00:27:00to which you were called
00:27:01when you made the noble confession
00:27:04in the presence of many witnesses.
00:27:07In the name of the Father,
00:27:08and of the Son,
00:27:09and of the Holy Spirit.
00:27:10Amen.
00:27:11So, here we go again.
00:27:14Just keep adding one,
00:27:15plus one,
00:27:16seven weeks.
00:27:17Seven weeks we have talked about
00:27:20the various qualities of life,
00:27:23the way of living.
00:27:24We are called to live
00:27:25in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
00:27:29We are called to love,
00:27:31to be resolved in all we do.
00:27:34That means to stand strong,
00:27:36and to be honest,
00:27:39not just nice.
00:27:42We have recounted our call
00:27:43to discipline ourselves.
00:27:46We have talked about placing our faith
00:27:48and trust in our Lord and Savior
00:27:50because His words are indeed meant for us.
00:27:54They're meant for our lives.
00:27:57Our faith strength is exhibited
00:27:59not in huge things,
00:28:01but in the small things
00:28:03we do each and every day
00:28:05because we are called
00:28:07after Christ.
00:28:09As well as in our humility
00:28:11and in our charity.
00:28:14What we count as important
00:28:16really matters.
00:28:19And what's worth the cost
00:28:22matters.
00:28:23The way we forgive
00:28:24and love
00:28:25matters.
00:28:27Being smart
00:28:28about our faith
00:28:30and staying simple,
00:28:31honest,
00:28:32and having common sense
00:28:34does make a difference.
00:28:37St. Paul today
00:28:39is writing to
00:28:40his brother in the faith,
00:28:42Timothy.
00:28:43St. Paul had installed
00:28:45Timothy
00:28:45as the bishop
00:28:47of Ephesus.
00:28:48I have to make sure
00:28:49I get the right city
00:28:50because I can confuse that.
00:28:52He installed him
00:28:53as the bishop of Ephesus.
00:28:54The other thing about Timothy
00:28:55is Timothy was young.
00:28:57He was really
00:28:57a young man.
00:28:59He may have been
00:29:00in his late teens,
00:29:01early twenties.
00:29:02So here's this young man
00:29:05who's the bishop now
00:29:07of Ephesus.
00:29:08Now,
00:29:08Timothy had traveled
00:29:10with Paul
00:29:11all along the way.
00:29:12He was at his side.
00:29:13He learned
00:29:14from Paul.
00:29:15He went on special
00:29:16missions
00:29:17with Paul.
00:29:21And Paul is writing
00:29:22to him
00:29:22to reiterate
00:29:24all of those things
00:29:26that he had been taught.
00:29:28It's the exact same things
00:29:29we've been discussing
00:29:31for seven weeks now.
00:29:34Pursue righteousness,
00:29:36devotion,
00:29:38faith,
00:29:39love,
00:29:40patience,
00:29:40patience,
00:29:42excuse me,
00:29:44patience,
00:29:44get it right,
00:29:47patience,
00:29:48and gentleness.
00:29:51As Christians,
00:29:52we are nothing
00:29:52but consistent.
00:29:54It's the nice thing
00:29:55about being a Christian.
00:29:56If you come to the faith,
00:29:57you're consistent.
00:29:59When we sin,
00:30:00what's wrong with that?
00:30:01Well,
00:30:01we become inconsistent.
00:30:03So,
00:30:04we want to be consistent
00:30:05as Christians.
00:30:07That is because
00:30:07our faith,
00:30:08or the way
00:30:09that we live
00:30:10each and every day,
00:30:12is based on something
00:30:13that is eternally
00:30:14important.
00:30:16It is the word
00:30:17of God
00:30:17delivered directly
00:30:19to us
00:30:20by God himself,
00:30:22who is
00:30:22Jesus.
00:30:23Indeed,
00:30:26Paul tells Timothy
00:30:27to give the same
00:30:29noble confession
00:30:30that Jesus gave.
00:30:34We must be like Jesus
00:30:35each and every day.
00:30:38Now,
00:30:38Paul's work
00:30:39and admonition
00:30:40to Timothy
00:30:41are something
00:30:42we too
00:30:43need to hear.
00:30:45We need to be reminded
00:30:46of these things.
00:30:47Seven weeks of reminders,
00:30:49today's epistle,
00:30:50a reminder
00:30:51of that way
00:30:52we are to be.
00:30:53And it's the message
00:30:54of today's gospel
00:30:55in the parable
00:30:57of the rich man
00:30:58and Lazarus.
00:31:01Now,
00:31:02I don't need to
00:31:03expound
00:31:04on this story
00:31:05of the rich man
00:31:06and Lazarus,
00:31:06this parable.
00:31:08We all get it.
00:31:09The rich man
00:31:10was rich and mean,
00:31:11Lazarus was poor
00:31:13and suffering.
00:31:15Right?
00:31:15And the rich man
00:31:16had no compassion
00:31:17for Lazarus.
00:31:19It's right there.
00:31:20The story
00:31:21is plain
00:31:22and simple.
00:31:23Everyone gets it.
00:31:27What we don't get
00:31:28sometimes
00:31:29is that
00:31:31there's consequences.
00:31:33There's consequences
00:31:34to the choices
00:31:35we make
00:31:36and the way
00:31:37that we live.
00:31:38The way
00:31:39we choose
00:31:40to live.
00:31:42And all those things
00:31:43Paul tells
00:31:44Timothy
00:31:44to be,
00:31:45right,
00:31:46those are all
00:31:47the things
00:31:47that the rich man
00:31:48was not.
00:31:49All of the things
00:31:50we've talked about
00:31:51for seven weeks,
00:31:53the rich man
00:31:53was not.
00:31:58The rich man
00:31:59did not love.
00:32:00He had no love.
00:32:03He didn't care
00:32:04about righteousness,
00:32:06doing what was
00:32:07right and good.
00:32:09He was devoted,
00:32:11but he was devoted
00:32:12to himself.
00:32:14He put himself
00:32:15first.
00:32:16And he was
00:32:18completely
00:32:19without faith,
00:32:20patience,
00:32:21or gentleness.
00:32:24That had
00:32:25eternal
00:32:26consequences.
00:32:28Had eternal
00:32:29consequences.
00:32:32And he suffered
00:32:33because of his
00:32:34unwillingness
00:32:35to love.
00:32:38Let us then
00:32:39take a lesson
00:32:40from this
00:32:41to make sure
00:32:42that we live
00:32:43rightly,
00:32:44that we live
00:32:45generously,
00:32:46that we live
00:32:47patiently,
00:32:49devoted,
00:32:51righteous,
00:32:53and gentle.
00:32:57Gentle
00:32:58with each
00:32:58other.
00:32:59Gentle
00:32:59with all
00:33:00those
00:33:00we encounter
00:33:02so that
00:33:03we,
00:33:04when we
00:33:04come to
00:33:05that day,
00:33:06having given
00:33:06the noble
00:33:07confession
00:33:08that Jesus
00:33:09himself gave,
00:33:11that Timothy
00:33:11gave,
00:33:12that Paul
00:33:14and all
00:33:14the apostles
00:33:15gave,
00:33:16so to be
00:33:17in eternal
00:33:18joy
00:33:19with Jesus.
00:33:21In the name
00:33:21of the Father,
00:33:22and of the Son,
00:33:22and of the Holy
00:33:23Spirit.
00:33:24Amen.
00:33:24Amen.
00:33:24Let us now
00:33:40rise and
00:33:41together
00:33:42profess
00:33:42our faith.
00:33:44I believe
00:33:45in one
00:33:45God,
00:33:46the Father,
00:33:47the Almighty,
00:33:48maker of
00:33:49heaven and
00:33:49earth,
00:33:50of all
00:33:51that is
00:33:51seen and
00:33:51unseen.
00:33:52I believe
00:33:53in one
00:33:54Lord,
00:33:55Jesus
00:33:55Christ,
00:33:56the only
00:33:56Son of
00:33:57God,
00:33:58eternally
00:33:58begotten
00:33:59of the
00:33:59Father,
00:34:00God
00:34:00from God,
00:34:01light
00:34:02from light,
00:34:03true God
00:34:03from true
00:34:04God,
00:34:05begotten
00:34:05not made
00:34:06of one
00:34:06being
00:34:07with the
00:34:07Father.
00:34:08Through
00:34:08him all
00:34:09things are
00:34:10made for
00:34:11us and
00:34:11for our
00:34:12salvation.
00:34:13By the
00:34:15power of
00:34:16the Holy
00:34:16Spirit,
00:34:17he was
00:34:17born of
00:34:18the Virgin
00:34:19Mary and
00:34:20became
00:34:20man.
00:34:21Amen.
00:34:22For our
00:34:24sake he
00:34:25was
00:34:25crucified
00:34:26under
00:34:26Pontius
00:34:27Pilate.
00:34:28He suffered
00:34:28death and
00:34:29was buried.
00:34:30On the
00:34:30third day he
00:34:31rose again
00:34:32in fulfillment
00:34:33of the
00:34:34scriptures.
00:34:35He ascended
00:34:36into heaven
00:34:36and is
00:34:37seated at
00:34:38the right
00:34:38hand of
00:34:39the Father.
00:34:40He will
00:34:40come again
00:34:41in glory
00:34:42to judge
00:34:42the living
00:34:43and the
00:34:43dead and
00:34:44his kingdom
00:34:45will have
00:34:45no end.
00:34:46I believe
00:34:47in the
00:34:48Holy Spirit,
00:34:49the Lord
00:34:49and giver
00:34:50of life,
00:34:51who proceeds
00:34:52from the
00:34:52Father with
00:34:53the Father
00:34:54and the
00:34:54Son.
00:34:55He is
00:34:55worshipped
00:34:56and glorified.
00:34:57He has
00:34:58spoken through
00:34:58the prophets.
00:35:00I believe

00:43:07Through your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ
00:43:10In him your word was made flesh

00:43:15Was revealed in splendor
00:43:17In all things he fulfilled your will
00:43:19And glorified your name
00:43:20He proclaimed your kingdom to us
00:43:23He broke the power of darkness over us
00:43:26He took our guilt upon himself

00:43:30And unlocked the new paradise for us
00:43:32As the way, the truth, and the life
00:43:35He has revealed your love to us
00:43:37He humbled himself
00:43:38Making him obedient even to death on a cross
00:43:41And by rising, restored our life
00:43:45On the night in which he was betrayed
00:43:49To undergo that suffering
00:43:50Which he himself had chosen
00:43:52He took bread into his hands
00:43:55And lifting his eyes to you
00:43:57His heavenly Father
00:43:59He gave thanks
00:44:00He blessed the bread
00:44:02Broke it
00:44:04And gave it to his disciples
