00:12:51God's recreation of the new day.
00:13:02Again, good morning, my dear brothers and sisters.
00:13:04And welcome on this 27th Ordinary Sunday.
00:13:09Today's Holy Mass is offered for my aunt, Angelina Novak.
00:13:14This is the 44th anniversary of her home going to our Lord and Savior.
00:13:20So we pray for the repose of her eternal soul.
00:13:24Today's Holy Mass and the contemporary rite found on page 63 of the Tan Pumissile.
00:13:29In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
00:13:33Amen.
00:13:33Lord, bless us with the wisdom to praise you in spirit and in truth,
00:13:37so that by following your holy will, we may gain eternal salvation.
00:13:42Amen.
00:13:43My dear brothers and sisters, let us now pause, confess our sins to God,
00:13:47and prepare ourselves so that we may worthily participate in this holy sacrifice.
00:13:52Please now complete your examination of conscience, confessing your sins privately to God and seeking his forgiveness.
00:14:01Amen.
00:14:01Amen.
00:14:02And recall their sinfulness in seeking reconciliation with God and each other.
00:14:28Let us now recite the second form of the confit you are found on page 66 as our confession.
00:14:34I confess to Almighty God in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:14:43that I have sinned through my own fault in my thoughts, in my thoughts, in my words, in what I have done or failed to do.
00:14:51I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
00:15:00As an act of penance for our sinfulness, since it is the month of the Holy Rosary,
00:15:06let us offer up a Hail Mary this evening before we go to bed for the intention of true love, true goodness toward others in our lives.
00:15:20May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
00:15:25May our Lord Jesus Christ absolve you with his authority vested in me.
00:15:29I absolve you from all your sins, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:15:40O Lord, have pity on us, for you we wait.
00:15:45Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of trouble.
00:15:51The Lord is exalted and throned on high.
00:15:54He fills Zion with right and justice.
00:15:58Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
00:16:02As it was from the beginning, it's now and ever shall be.
00:16:06For all the rest of your life. Amen.
00:16:07Amen.
00:16:07Lord, have mercy.
00:16:15Lord, have mercy.
00:16:20Christ, have mercy.
00:16:26Lord, have mercy.
00:16:30Lord, have mercy.
00:16:39Glory to God in the highest.
00:16:46Christ, and peace to us, people on earth.
00:16:51Lord, have mercy on us.
00:16:53Father, we worship you.
00:16:54We give you thanks.
00:16:54We praise you for your glory.
00:16:56Lord, Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father.
00:16:58Lord God, Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world.
00:17:02Have mercy on us.
00:17:04We are seated at the right hand of the Father.
00:17:05Lord, we receive our prayer.
00:17:07Do the Lord of the Lord.
00:17:08Do the Lord of the Lord.
00:17:10Do the Lord of the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, and the glory of God the Father.
00:17:16Amen.
00:17:16Ten thanks be ever given, with and through angelic hosts, to the God of earth and heaven, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
00:17:35Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, Amen.
00:17:46The Lord be with you.
00:17:51And also with you.
00:17:55Let us pray.
00:17:57Lord our God, increase our faith, so that none of us shall live in contentment, knowing that our neighbor is in need.
00:18:08Fill us with a sense of duty, that we may always follow your will.
00:18:13We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit.
00:18:21One God, forever and ever.
00:18:27Amen.
00:18:29Let us now be seated and attentive to the Lord's Word.
00:18:33Amen.
00:18:33Amen.
00:18:35Amen.
00:18:37Amen.
00:18:41Amen.
00:18:42Amen.
00:18:42Amen.
00:18:42Amen.
00:18:42Amen.
00:18:43Amen.
00:18:43A reading from the book of the prophet Habakkuk.
00:19:05How long, O Lord, I cry for help, but you do not listen.
00:19:12I cry out to you, violence, but you do not intervene.
00:19:19Why do you let me see ruin?
00:19:22Why must I look at misery?
00:19:25Destruction and violence are before me.
00:19:29There is strife and clamorous discord.
00:19:32Then the Lord answered me.
00:19:32Then the Lord answered me and said, write down the visions clearly upon the tablets so that one can read it readily.
00:19:42For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint.
00:19:52If it delays, wait for it.
00:19:56It will surely come.
00:19:56It will surely come.
00:19:57It will surely come.
00:19:57It will surely come.
00:19:58It will surely come.
00:19:59We will not be late.
00:20:01The rash one has no integrity, but the just one, because of his faith, shall live.
00:20:10The word of the Lord.
00:20:11Thanks be to God.
00:20:13Our responsorial psalm today is, if today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
00:20:23If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
00:20:29Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord.
00:20:33Let us acclaim the rock of our salvation.
00:20:36Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving.
00:20:39Let us joyfully sing psalms to him.
00:20:44If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
00:20:50Come, let us bow down and worship.
00:20:53Let us kneel before the Lord who made us.
00:20:57For he is our God.
00:20:59For we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides.
00:21:04If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
00:21:11Oh, that today you would hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as at Meribah, as in the days
00:21:22of Massa in the desert, where your fathers tempted me, they tested me, though they had seen
00:21:31my works.
00:21:32If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
00:21:41A reading from the second letter of St. Paul to Timothy.
00:21:47Beloved, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands.
00:21:58For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather of power and love and self-control.
00:22:09So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord, nor for me, a prisoner for his sake.
00:22:19But bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.
00:22:28Take as your norm the sound words that you heard from me in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
00:22:38Guard this rich trust with the help of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.
00:22:50The word of the Lord.
00:22:52Thanks be to God.
00:22:53Please rise.
00:23:16If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all.
00:23:46And the servant of all.
00:23:51Alleluia.
00:23:54Alleluia.
00:23:59Alleluia.
00:24:05The Lord be my heart and my lips and my worldly proclaim this holy gospel.
00:24:09Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
00:24:11Amen.
00:24:11Amen.
00:24:11The Lord be with you.
00:24:16And also with you.
00:24:18A reading from the holy gospel according to St. Luke.
00:24:21Glory be to you, O Lord.
00:24:24The apostles said to the Lord, increase our faith.
00:24:28The Lord replied, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it would obey you.
00:24:41Who among you would say to your servant, who has just come in from plowing or tending sheep in the field, come here immediately and take your place at table?
00:24:52Would he not rather say to him, prepare something for me to eat?
00:24:57Put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink?
00:25:00You may eat and drink when I am finished.
00:25:04Is he grateful to the servant because he did what was commanded?
00:25:09So should it be with you.
00:25:11When you have done all you have been commanded, say, we are unprofitable servants.
00:25:17We have done what we were obliged to do.
00:25:21This is the gospel of the Lord.
00:25:24Praise be to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
00:25:27Praise be to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
00:25:57May we fully comprehend, guided by your constant hand.
00:26:10Standing on your word of promise, we confirm and praise your goodness.
00:26:21Come on, Spirit, come on, it's my faith, with the fire of thy love.
00:26:27When you have done all that you are commanded to do, say, we are unprofitable servants.
00:26:43We have done what we were obliged to do.
00:26:46In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
00:26:50In case you didn't notice in the bulletin, as I've been saying, we've been going over various points in our way of living, the way God calls us to live, the way Jesus instructed us.
00:27:04You know, it's, as I said, way at the beginning of our reflection eight weeks ago, it's the guide to good living.
00:27:11The guide to good living.
00:27:13Best seller, right?
00:27:15Best seller ever.
00:27:16It's called the Bible.
00:27:18So, I said, well, I had this paragraph and it was getting super long.
00:27:23It was almost two columns long.
00:27:25So, I broke up our guide to good living into bullet points.
00:27:29Because bullet points are easy to digest.
00:27:32So, let's go through our guide to good living.
00:27:35Love.
00:27:36We are called to love.
00:27:39We're called to put our faith on full display.
00:27:42You know, as they say, put it out there.
00:27:45Right?
00:27:45Put your faith out there.
00:27:47Let people see it.
00:27:49Be resolved in all we do.
00:27:52Don't be timid.
00:27:52Don't be like, oh, I'm going to go do something nice.
00:27:55But don't.
00:27:58Right?
00:27:58Don't be like, here you go.
00:28:01You know?
00:28:02Be resolved.
00:28:03You know?
00:28:04Be honest.
00:28:07Not just nice.
00:28:08It's easy to be nice.
00:28:10Being nice leads to sin.
00:28:13Being nice is like compromising.
00:28:16Don't compromise.
00:28:17Be honest.
00:28:18That's wrong.
00:28:19That's not right.
00:28:20You shouldn't do that.
00:28:22That's called being honest.
00:28:24Not like, oh, go ahead.
00:28:26Do what you want.
00:28:28Discipline ourselves.
00:28:31You know?
00:28:31Anybody who has a military background
00:28:33or Boy Scouts even, Girl Scouts, that sort of thing.
00:28:37You know?
00:28:38You know you have to discipline yourself.
00:28:40It's the way you carry yourself.
00:28:42It's the way you live your life.
00:28:43It's the way you prepare yourself.
00:28:46Place our faith and trust in Christ
00:28:48by following his teachings,
00:28:50which he meant them for us.
00:28:53He didn't mean them for some people in the future
00:28:56or some people in the past.
00:28:58Yeah, they were meant for them too.
00:28:59But his teachings are meant for us
00:29:01to make our lives good.
00:29:05Exhibit faith in the small things we do each day.
00:29:08Right?
00:29:08You don't have to go out and do anything spectacular.
00:29:11You don't have to be written in the annals of history.
00:29:15But you're going to be written in the annals
00:29:17of someone's history.
00:29:18Somewhere in someone's history,
00:29:21they're going to remember you
00:29:22for the little things you did
00:29:24that blessed them.
00:29:27Exhibit.
00:29:28Have humility.
00:29:30Have charity, of course.
00:29:32Properly count what is important
00:29:34and what matters.
00:29:37Forgive
00:29:37and love.
00:29:40Be smart about our faith.
00:29:43Stay simple.
00:29:45Stay honest.
00:29:45And have common sense about our faith.
00:29:49And that there are eternal consequences
00:29:51for the decisions we make in our lives.
00:29:55What we do today does not just matter for today.
00:29:58It matters forever.
00:30:01It's consequences.
00:30:02So you've got to keep that in mind.
00:30:04Right?
00:30:04That keeps us on the straight and narrow
00:30:05because we know we don't want the negative consequences.
00:30:09Now, we may consider the commands of the Lord
00:30:16to be something quite extraordinary.
00:30:19Quite difficult.
00:30:20Right?
00:30:20If you read the full Sermon on the Mount
00:30:23or the Sermon on the Plain,
00:30:25they're both kind of the same.
00:30:26Right?
00:30:27You know, Jesus speaks about the Beatitudes.
00:30:30Blessed are the poor in spirit.
00:30:32Blessed are those who are persecuted.
00:30:35Blessed are the...
00:30:36You know, he goes through the whole list.
00:30:37All seven of them.
00:30:39Right?
00:30:39And then there's a whole bunch of teachings.
00:30:41He's like...
00:30:41Jesus is like saying,
00:30:42Hey, when someone slaps you,
00:30:45turn the other cheek.
00:30:47That's kind of hard, Jesus.
00:30:49What are you talking about?
00:30:51He talks about being pressed by someone.
00:30:54He says,
00:30:55If someone presses you into walking a mile with them,
00:30:58walk another mile with them.
00:31:01If someone takes your coat,
00:31:04give them your shirt as well.
00:31:07Right?
00:31:08You read through the entire Sermon on the Mount
00:31:10and this way of living that Jesus is propounding,
00:31:14and you say,
00:31:15Wow, that's really hard.
00:31:18That's almost superhuman to live in that way.
00:31:22At this later time,
00:31:29Jesus is sitting down with his apostles,
00:31:32and he's basically saying that his commands,
00:31:36everything he's been teaching them,
00:31:38everything he's teaching us,
00:31:40is a baseline.
00:31:42It's the minimum.
00:31:44Right?
00:31:45I forgot the mathematical term.
00:31:47You know,
00:31:47the least common denominator.
00:31:49Right?
00:31:50Remember that from math.
00:31:52Young people in school,
00:31:54you'll read about the least common denominator.
00:31:57I never kind of understood that,
00:31:58but that's okay.
00:31:59That's for Prime Bishop to understand.
00:32:01He's the mathematician.
00:32:02So,
00:32:03least common denominator,
00:32:04baseline,
00:32:05bottom line,
00:32:06minimum,
00:32:06minimum standards.
00:32:08Right?
00:32:09I don't know about any of you,
00:32:10but I never wanted to live at minimum standards.
00:32:14I want to be better than the bottom.
00:32:18Well,
00:32:18I'll just do enough.
00:32:19I'll just do enough.
00:32:22I'll just,
00:32:22I'll just do the baseline.
00:32:25I'm not going to go above and beyond.
00:32:28I remember,
00:32:29when I was early in my career with the state,
00:32:33you know,
00:32:33I was an auditor,
00:32:34right?
00:32:36So,
00:32:37they gave us a baseline.
00:32:39You had to do four audits a week,
00:32:41or the equivalent of four audits a week.
00:32:45I was cranking out eight to twelve.
00:32:49I remember,
00:32:50and not only that,
00:32:52but this is the kicker,
00:32:54you had to account for your time.
00:32:57And the time it took me to do these audits
00:32:58was not excessive.
00:33:01And I had all this extra time left.
00:33:04And because you have to fulfill
00:33:06thirty-seven and a half hours a week,
00:33:08you have to put that time somewhere.
00:33:11So,
00:33:11there was this category called overhead.
00:33:14So,
00:33:14I just threw all the extra time in there.
00:33:17Right?
00:33:18Now,
00:33:19everyone through the years
00:33:20had learned to cheat.
00:33:22You know,
00:33:22they said,
00:33:23well,
00:33:23if it took me four hours to do an audit,
00:33:25I'll say it took eight.
00:33:26Because I have to put the time somewhere.
00:33:29But for some reason,
00:33:30I wasn't convinced to cheat.
00:33:32So,
00:33:33I would put down the exact time
00:33:35it took me to do the work,
00:33:36and all the other time went over there.
00:33:39Boy,
00:33:40did I get yelled at.
00:33:43You know,
00:33:43it's like one of those people
00:33:44on the production line
00:33:45that works faster
00:33:46than the rest of the production line.
00:33:48The guys will take you out back,
00:33:50take you out to the playground
00:33:52and put a beat down on you.
00:33:54Right?
00:33:54Because you're ruining the rhythm.
00:33:57Right?
00:33:57You're making them work too fast.
00:33:59Right?
00:33:59But I couldn't do the minimum.
00:34:04Made no sense to me.
00:34:08We're not in this life
00:34:11to squeak by.
00:34:14Eee!
00:34:15Let's get to squeak by.
00:34:20Jesus is telling us
00:34:22that if we just squeak by,
00:34:25we are unprofitable.
00:34:28We are unprofitable.
00:34:29We have only done
00:34:30what we were obliged to do.
00:34:33Obligated to do.
00:34:35So he says,
00:34:35if you want to be profitable,
00:34:37you've got to go above and beyond.
00:34:41You have to go above and beyond.
00:34:44The disciples are there saying,
00:34:46Jesus,
00:34:47help us.
00:34:47Give us faith.
00:34:48Give us more faith.
00:34:50And you can imagine the scene.
00:34:54Jesus is sitting there.
00:34:55Oh Lord,
00:34:56give us more faith.
00:34:57And Jesus is like,
00:34:59what's wrong with you guys?
00:35:03You have it.
00:35:04You already have it.
00:35:06You have faith
00:35:07the size of a mustard seed.
00:35:09The smallest thing.
00:35:11You have faith
00:35:12the size of a mustard seed.
00:35:13And do you know
00:35:14with that faith
00:35:14that you have,
00:35:16I'm pointing to all of you
00:35:17and to me,
00:35:18with the faith we have,
00:35:21we can do
00:35:22supernatural things.
00:35:24Not just superhuman things,
00:35:26but supernatural things.
00:35:29Things that go above
00:35:30and beyond.
00:35:32Things that are profitable
00:35:33and great.
00:35:35They are amazing.
00:35:36They are wonderful.
00:35:39It's not hard,
00:35:40and I'll tell you another story
00:35:41in a minute.
00:35:42So Jesus tells them
00:35:44by that analogy
00:35:45to the mustard seed
00:35:46that the smallest amount
00:35:47of faith
00:35:48is all that is needed
00:35:49to be profitable.
00:35:51To do more than the minimum.
00:35:53To go above and beyond
00:35:54and to be actually spectacular.
00:35:57Right?
00:35:58You can be spectacular
00:35:59in your faith.
00:36:03We don't need more.
00:36:04What we have is enough.
00:36:07This is why Paul
00:36:09is telling Timothy
00:36:11to stir into flame
00:36:14the gift of God
00:36:16that you have.
00:36:19You don't need to go get more.
00:36:21You have it.
00:36:22You just need to stir it up.
00:36:25Stir it into flame.
00:36:27And by that gift from God,
00:36:29we have power,
00:36:32love,
00:36:33and control.
00:36:34Now I'll tell you
00:36:36a little story.
00:36:37So I'm at the seminary,
00:36:38right?
00:36:39And this is a weird story
00:36:41behind this,
00:36:42but anyway,
00:36:43so we had just done
00:36:44with the Daston Council meeting.
00:36:46I head back to seminary.
00:36:47I had to get my bags,
00:36:48put them in the car,
00:36:49head out, right?
00:36:50And I'm walking
00:36:51to the seminary,
00:36:51and sort of diagonal
00:36:53across from the seminary,
00:36:54there's a little shop,
00:36:56a convenience store,
00:36:57right?
00:36:59And they have,
00:37:00it's a Hispanic
00:37:02evangelical church
00:37:03has a bunch of tents
00:37:05out in the parking lot,
00:37:10right?
00:37:11And they got megaphones,
00:37:12and they're like,
00:37:13they're preaching
00:37:14to the people
00:37:15of the neighborhood
00:37:16quite loudly,
00:37:18right?
00:37:19It's big megaphones.
00:37:20They're like,
00:37:21you know,
00:37:21remember the old,
00:37:21old-fashioned sound trucks,
00:37:23right?
00:37:24So they're like,
00:37:24you know,
00:37:25hallelujah,
00:37:26hallelujah,
00:37:27and then they talk
00:37:28about things like,
00:37:29you know,
00:37:29stop doing the bad things
00:37:32in your life
00:37:32and come to Christ.
00:37:34Wonderful.
00:37:34You know,
00:37:35out there,
00:37:35street preaching,
00:37:37right?
00:37:38And on each corner
00:37:40of the streets
00:37:42all the way around,
00:37:43they put people.
00:37:44There was usually
00:37:45a man and a woman
00:37:45or a couple kids,
00:37:47you know,
00:37:47on each corner.
00:37:48And when cars
00:37:49would pull up
00:37:50or people would walk by,
00:37:51they would hand them
00:37:52information about their church
00:37:53and about coming to Christ
00:37:55and faith
00:37:56and all that wonderful stuff,
00:37:58right?
00:37:58And so I went back
00:38:00to the seminary
00:38:01and the seminarians
00:38:02are kind of like
00:38:03looking out the window
00:38:05seeing what's going on
00:38:07out there,
00:38:08right?
00:38:09Okay,
00:38:09natural reaction.
00:38:10We probably do the same thing
00:38:11at home.
00:38:12But I went in
00:38:14and I said,
00:38:15go to the refrigerator,
00:38:18get a couple bottles
00:38:19of water,
00:38:20take them out there
00:38:21and give them to those people
00:38:23standing on the street corner.
00:38:25What did Jesus say,
00:38:27right?
00:38:27Nothing extraordinary.
00:38:29Small things,
00:38:30but supernatural things.
00:38:33As Jesus said,
00:38:34to whichever of these
00:38:35little children
00:38:36you give a cup of water,
00:38:39you are doing it for me.
00:38:41You will be blessed.
00:38:45And they were like,
00:38:46wow,
00:38:47these people
00:38:48are giving me
00:38:50a cold bottle of water
00:38:52on a hot and sunny day
00:38:53when I'm standing
00:38:54on this street corner.
00:38:55because they are
00:38:57brothers and sisters
00:38:58in Christ.
00:38:59They're proclaiming
00:39:01Christ to the world.
00:39:03Right?
00:39:04Excellent work.
00:39:05Good job.
00:39:07We'll support that.
00:39:10We have the faith
00:39:12to do that,
00:39:12but you have to see it.
00:39:14You have to see it
00:39:15and you have to know
00:39:15what Jesus said
00:39:16and fulfill it.
00:39:20There's much to do.
00:39:21There's much to do.
00:39:22We have a lot to do
00:39:23in our homes.
00:39:24We have a lot to do
00:39:25in our community.
00:39:26There's a lot to do
00:39:27in our nation
00:39:28and there's a lot to do
00:39:30in the world
00:39:30to bring the kingdom
00:39:32of God
00:39:33to fruition,
00:39:34to bring it
00:39:35to completion.
00:39:38The opportunities
00:39:39to employ
00:39:40our supernatural gifts
00:39:42are right there
00:39:42every day.
00:39:44It's as simple
00:39:44as handing someone
00:39:45a bottle of cold water
00:39:47or in the months
00:39:50to come
00:39:50a cup of hot chocolate.
00:39:53Right?
00:39:54Simple things,
00:39:55but supernatural things
00:39:57because we do that
00:39:59because of our faith.
00:40:00We see beyond
00:40:01what we would
00:40:03ordinarily perceive.
00:40:06All we have to do
00:40:07is simply believe
00:40:09that we have the faith.
00:40:11We have the power
00:40:13within us
00:40:13and then stir
00:40:15that power
00:40:15into flame
00:40:17and let it reach out
00:40:19and let it work.
00:40:22Go beyond
00:40:23the minimum.
00:40:24In the name of the Father
00:40:25and of the Son
00:40:26and of the Holy Spirit.
00:40:27Amen.
00:40:28Amen.
00:40:28Amen.
00:40:28Amen.
00:40:43Let us now rise
00:40:45and together
00:40:45profess our faith.
00:40:47I believe
00:40:48in one God,
00:40:50the Father,
00:40:50the Almighty,
00:40:52maker of heaven
00:40:53and earth,
00:40:53of all that is seen
00:40:55and unseen.
00:40:56I believe
00:40:57in one Lord,
00:40:58Jesus Christ,
00:40:59the only Son
00:41:00of God,
00:41:01eternally begotten
00:41:02of the Father,
00:41:03God from God,
00:41:04light from light,
00:41:06true God
00:41:06from true God,
00:41:08begotten,
00:41:08not made,
00:41:09of one being
00:41:10with the Father.
00:41:11Through him
00:41:12all things are made
00:41:13for us
00:41:14and for our salvation.
00:41:16He came down
00:41:17from heaven
00:41:17by the power
00:41:19of the Holy Spirit.
00:41:20He was born
00:41:21of the Virgin Mary
00:41:22and became man.
00:41:26For our sake
00:41:28he was crucified
00:41:29under Pontius Pilate.
00:41:31He suffered death
00:41:32and was buried.
00:41:33On the third day
00:41:34he rose again.
00:41:36In fulfillment
00:41:36of the Scriptures,
00:41:38he ascended
00:41:39into heaven
00:41:39and is seated
00:41:40at the right hand
00:41:41of the Father.
00:41:43He will come
00:41:43again in glory
00:41:44to judge the living
00:41:46and the dead
00:41:46and his kingdom
00:41:47will have no end.
00:41:49I believe
00:41:50in the Holy Spirit,
00:41:51the Lord
00:41:52and giver of life
00:41:53who proceeds
00:41:54from the Father
00:41:55with the Father
00:41:56and the Son.
00:41:57He is worshiped
00:41:58and glorified.
00:42:00He has spoken
00:42:00through the prophets.
00:42:02I believe
00:42:03in one holy,
00:42:04Catholic,
00:42:04and apostolic church.
00:42:06I acknowledge
00:42:07one baptism
00:42:08for the forgiveness
00:42:09of sins.
00:42:10I look for the resurrection
00:42:11of the dead
00:42:12and the life
00:42:13of the world
00:42:14to come.
00:42:15Amen.
00:42:19The Lord be with you.
00:42:21And also with you.
00:42:23Let us bow
00:42:24before the Lord
00:42:25who shepherds
00:42:26and guides us
00:42:27in every need.
00:42:29Our response
00:42:29to our petitions
00:42:30will be,
00:42:31Lord,
00:42:31hear our prayer.
00:42:33For our prime bishop
00:42:34and Bishop Anthony,
00:42:35for his brother
00:42:36bishops,
00:42:36priests,
00:42:37deacons,
00:42:37and all who minister
00:42:38in the church,
00:42:39that they continue
00:42:40to lead us
00:42:41in serving
00:42:42above and beyond
00:42:43by using the gifts
00:42:45we have been given.
00:42:46We pray to the Lord.
00:42:48Lord,
00:42:49hear our prayer.
00:42:50That our evangelistic efforts
00:42:52be an implementation
00:42:53of the gifts
00:42:54given to us,
00:42:55leading many
00:42:56into the kingdom.
00:42:58We pray to the Lord.
00:42:59Lord,
00:43:00hear our prayer.
00:43:01That all our youth
00:43:03may use the gifts
00:43:04given them
00:43:04to serve the kingdom.
00:43:06We pray to the Lord.
00:43:08Lord,
00:43:09hear our prayer.
00:43:10For pets
00:43:11and pet owners,
00:43:12that their gift
00:43:13of each other
00:43:14might shine

00:46:23All the mystery of this wine, and water, and will come to show him to be a price, to humble himself, to share in their humanity.
00:46:40This is what I've got of all patience, and this may have this wine to offer for the vine, and work with human hands, and a spiritual dream.
00:46:53Oh, let me dare forget, and do not come to your soul, to share with your humble and contrite hearts, from the Holy Spirit, and bless the sacrament, which we have prepared for the glory of your holy name.
00:47:10Lord, wash my iniquity, cleanse me from all my sins.

00:50:50You sent him from heaven to a virgin's womb.
00:50:53There he dwelt and was made flesh.

00:51:19to crush hell beneath his feet, to give light to the just,
00:51:24to make a covenant, and to manifest his resurrection.
00:51:32He took bread.
00:51:35He gave thanks to you and said,
00:51:39Take and eat.
00:51:41This is my body, which is broken for you.
00:52:00In like manner, he took the cup and said,
00:52:04This is my blood, which is poured out for you.
