00:26The Centric Foundation's initiative is focused on empowering young people, community clubs and primary and secondary schools by providing financial assistance for essential cricketing needs.
00:39TKR manager Colin Bord was also present at the function and spoke about the importance of developing young minds.
00:46Being an executive member of Queen's Park, he said QPCC was also going to support the Centric Foundation.
00:52The plaudits did not end there, as the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board also blessed the initiative.
00:58TTCB 3rd Vice President Paras Ram Singh reminded those present, some cricketers in this country live in penury.
01:05We have a lot of young cricketers who come from very poor areas, unable to buy an emergency, to come out, but they are talented.
01:22The founder too could not be left out.
01:25According to Suraj, the aim is to work expeditiously so that the underprivileged cricketers can get the assistance required to take them fall.
01:32There are going to be several ways in which we're going to unlock funding for this foundation.
01:39Obviously, we're going to look at corporate and governance, but there's one way in which I'm going to directly unlock some funding, and that is through a crowdfunding approach.
01:50My plan is to find, personally, 2,000 donors in the next three months, and I will ask them to contribute $520 annually.
02:03The foundation's purposes include funding uniforms and gears for school cricket teams, helping former national cricketers in need of financial assistance,
02:13and purchasing gears for young emerging cricketers, just to name a few.
02:17Now we'll see how many things write out.
02:20We'll see how many more companies loses their contribution, and forth to collectれた figures in order to find the education, raising the metrics that require moreoveruteilian attention,
02:31until the future already becomes 20.
02:37We're able to pull that out and give them knowledge more, as humans will organise so they can tell us from them.
02:41And then we'll see what they're going for as 2 million people nowadays.
