00:00It's a rematch of last year. Vanderbilt struck the upset as a double-digit underdog in Nashville.

00:07They come now on the road catching 10.5 points against Alabama.

00:12Diego Pavia and the crew snapped a 23-game winning streak by Alabama over the Commodores last year.

00:22This offense is humming. They put up 50-plus points against Utah State.

00:27Now they're catching 10.5 on the road. Are the Commodores live in Tuscaloosa this weekend?

00:33Well, I'm going to tell you, you better expect them to be.

00:37I mean, the way they're playing and the many times we all have said, ah, it's going to run out.

00:42The luck's going to run out or people are going to start taking them seriously or the ball's not going to bounce their way.

00:49Forget all that stuff. This is a very good football team.

00:51Diego Pavia is one of the best quarterbacks in the conference.

00:54I'm not talking about NFL. I'm not sure where that stance is.

00:58I'm talking about leading with their football team, kind of like Haynes King for Georgia Tech.

01:02That's how Diego Pavia is at Vanderbilt.

01:05He makes things happen. He's confident. He understands the system, and he runs it well.

01:11And I'm going to bounce with you. It's a contending type thing.

01:14This is a great football game.

01:16And it's one Alabama went out there after beating Georgia last year,

01:19came back and just Vanderbilt ruined their season practically or ruined the direction of their program.

01:24I think the one difference this year, Alabama clearly knows exactly what's on the line

01:29and how good this team is, and there will be no uncertainty about the quality of the opponent

01:34or the bigness of the game.

01:37We talked about Diego Pavia playing lights out, completing over 70% of his passes.

01:42He's a dual threat, 13 touchdowns, three interceptions, coach.

01:46But it's not just a Vanderbilt offense that's averaging 49 points per game.

01:51Clark Lee has done a fantastic job on the defensive side of the ball.

01:55This defense enters this matchup only allowing 17 points per game,

02:00which has allowed them to go toe-to-toe with some of the better teams on their schedule.

02:04Catching 10.5 points, Ty Simpson's going to have to make some plays over the top.

02:09Playing at home, all the pressure now is back on Alabama,

02:13even though they got this road win against Georgia this past Saturday.

02:18Again, they're going to be in a dogfight come Saturday afternoon.

02:21Yeah, I mean, they had pressure according to Georgia.

02:25This team lost to Florida State, and that fan base has been on those guys, on those coaches.

02:31Every play, there's tension.

02:33And knowing you've got to win every single game you play.

02:37And so that's established.

02:39That's what's facing them.

02:41And after losing to Vanderbilt, you know good and well,

02:43those players know all week what's in store for them.

02:47And what they've got to go out there is put the same type of game together

02:50that they had against Georgia.

02:51The plan isn't hard.

02:53You've just got to execute it.

02:54You've got to go out there and play like you did against Georgia.

02:56Come out strong in the beginning of the play.

02:59Don't fall behind against Vanderbilt because you may not catch up.

03:02Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt, like we said, this offense is sitting on all cylinders.

03:08They put up 50-plus points against Utah State.

03:11They got the win but no cover.

03:13You see this total at 56-and-a-half with the type of talent that Vanderbilt possesses

03:19offensively.

03:20And knowing what Alabama did against a very good defense against Georgia,

03:24this game potentially could get into the 60s Saturday afternoon.

03:29Absolutely.

03:30And the way Vanderbilt plays, I'd like to take Vandy in the points too.

03:35I like 10-and-a-half points with me and this Vandy team because I think of how well

03:39they've played against everybody they play against.

03:42They don't have a bad game.

03:43They've got a, like I say, great leadership.

03:45The head coach has them pumped up for the game.

03:48Reminds me of Georgia Tech over there in the ACC.

03:50They've got a quarterback that's just like that.

03:53They've got a team that plays together.

03:56It's a smart football team with a smart offense.

03:59And it's a spread option type.

04:00And it's a problem.

04:01And so I'll wait until later on to pick the winner in this one.

04:06But I'll tell you, Alabama better have a great week of practice.
