00:00Let's turn our attention to the battle in Knoxville, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee.

00:05Last year, Tennessee won this matchup in Nashville by double digits.

00:09They stepped up with a dominating road performance.

00:12They struggled in the first half but came on in the second half,

00:16especially in the passing attack.

00:18They're only laying, Coach, two and a half points against the Commodores.

00:22Right now, you look at Vanderbilt, the potential for a 10-win season.

00:26Can they strike the upset against the Volunteers?

00:31Yes, for the reasons that I talked about earlier,

00:33because they've got a quarterback that with a ball in his hands,

00:36they've got a chance to win the last series,

00:39whether it be hold on to the football or score points.

00:42But this game is being played in Knoxville.

00:45It's being played on Rocky Top.

00:47And I do think that Tennessee has a lot to play for.

00:51So although I am a huge fan of Diego Pavia,

00:55and it's remarkable what Vanderbilt has done,

00:58I think they can go in there and play a great football game

01:01and have a great finish to their season.

01:04But I do think Tennessee will find a way to win this football game at home

01:08with a chance to get to the bowl game and win a double-digit season.

01:12With a win here and a bowl game win,

01:14they can get a double-digit season in a year that they were close to getting to the playoffs

01:19but didn't quite make it.

01:20Yeah, now when you look at the spread perspective,

01:23Tennessee has won six straight in the series, Coach.

01:27They won this matchup, to my point, 36-23 last year.

01:32But they have owned the series over the last six meetings.

01:35They have won those games by an average margin of victory of 26 points,

01:40six points per game.

01:42You have two gunslingers.

01:43Gunslingers, you have Joey Aguilar that's leading the SEC entering last week

01:48with over 2,900 passing yards.

01:51And now Diego Pavia that put up almost 500 against Kentucky.

01:55I lean to Tennessee in this matchup, Coach,

01:58but I really like the over 55-and-a-half.

02:02I think we get points aplenty.

02:03This game could sail into the 60s.

02:07Yeah, I think without a doubt I would take the over here

02:09because even with Vanderbilt playing the season that they've had,

02:13Pavia having the great year,

02:15they are week in and week out having to outscore people.

02:18They cannot stay.

02:19Auburn was a scoring match that they had to score at the end of the game to win.

02:24Pavia has had to come through with late drives to win football games.

02:29Defensively, they just don't have enough people of talented personnel

02:33to cover both sides of the ball.

02:35Their weakness is ability to stop people with their defense.

02:39Tennessee can score points, and so you're exactly right.

02:42I like the over.

02:43I see a 30s, a game of both teams getting up to the 30s,

02:48but it is one that I think Tennessee has one more bullet in their gun

02:52than Vanderbilt.
