00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning which is chilling outside
00:04but for most it will be a pleasant day with some sunshine.
00:08However, still quite a squeeze with the wind down towards the southeast
00:12and we've seen showers through the last 24 hours, a few showers are through this morning.
00:17Elsewhere, that high pressure certainly casting an influence right the way through the day
00:20and this weather front here just to the west remains over open water
00:25so perhaps a bit more cloud across the western hills, generally speaking though,
00:28remaining fine with that sunshine coming through.
00:31The air's not particularly warm but even so, the sun's still strong
00:35so not feeling too bad at all through the afternoon.
00:38This morning though, just one or two very light showers across Pennine districts
00:42never really amounting to very much and still that brisk breeze near the Channel coast.
00:47However, through the day we'll see the cloud break here, allowing for some sunshine.
00:51Sunshine elsewhere with that cloud just drifting very slowly across the sky.
00:55The winds remain fairly light. A better day across Shetland and Orkney
00:59with this weather front here just towards the west of the Outer Hebrides.
01:03A bit of a breeze through the afternoon across the western side of Scotland
01:06as temperatures arrive around 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.
01:11But that wind continues through the afternoon across East Anglia,
01:14the East Midlands home counties down towards the far southeast.
01:17Now through this evening and overnight, yet again starry skies, winds remain light inland.
01:24So you could see one or two mist and fog patches, more of a breeze towards the east here
01:29and notice across the near continent more cloud and a little rain which could cast an influence
01:35across the far southeast as we head into Thursday morning.
01:38So a chance of one or two showery bursts.
01:40Elsewhere, it's another fine day.
01:42Sunny spells coming through.
01:44Again, a wind which will strengthen through the day towards the west there across Northern Ireland
01:49as well as the western side of Scotland.
01:52A mix of cloud and sunshine through the day.
01:54Brighter skies later towards the southeast.
01:56That brisk breeze here.
01:58But inland, temperatures 18 or 19 degrees Celsius.
02:0117 for the central belt of Scotland.
02:03So a pleasant day to come and a similar situation into Friday.
02:06Have a lovely day and I'll see you again soon.
