John 'The Sign Guy' Edwards is overwhelmed after pupils from Coleham Primary School, Shrewsbury raise money for him to buy more cleaning products.

00:00okay everybody so we're here with with John the sign guy at Colham Primary and

00:09so just explain for us what's been going on what you've what you've been up to

00:13yeah and he's been making the signs around Shropshire really nice and clean hasn't he

00:27he's been doing it for a long time hasn't he so what did you do at the school what

00:32have you done here at the school about we've got some money donations that we're

00:37going to help John with that he can buy some of his tools wow that's really good

00:42isn't it so you've raised some money so he can buy the cleaning products and

00:45things like that how did you raise the money do you know at school we bought in

00:51there's some money and we put them in pots and then we put them in a bucket and

00:58there's at least about like 50 pounds wow that's a really good idea isn't it that's

01:02really thoughtful as well so John how do you feel about it what are your thoughts

01:06about what the children really cuz I didn't know they've done that no I know it is

01:11it's quite emotional really you know you think you do these things and nobody

01:15really notices but but but that's obviously not the case I mean the last

01:19time I stood in front of a morning assembly I was in trouble

01:231962 but now you're really pleased then oh yeah thank you yeah it's been a lovely

01:31morning no well it's great what you do I mean it's you know it's great for the

01:35community I just love cleaning inside yeah I'm addicted to cleaning inside and graffiti of

01:39course yeah don't forget the graffiti well there's no excuse now because you'll have

01:43more cleaning products to you but good luck do Sutton bridge next yes started a

01:48Facebook page friends of Sutton bridge so we're hoping to clean that up next
