04:43the track quicker than it was yesterday after that overnight grooming by not
04:46much though still managed to leave a lot of the technical element of this
04:50racetrack which will only get more more technical as the race goes on but look at
04:55Daniela Guillen once again fighting up and over this crest the right-hander at the
04:59bottom of the hill leading to that straight where we saw an attempt of a
05:02pass by Cannon on Fontenese both keeping left to go sort of outside inside and then
05:09this is the turn that leads the riders back past pit lane Guillen a little bit
05:14untidy on the exit of that corner this time Van Drunen says you know what I heard
05:20you there a lap ago not gonna fall for the same mistake twice and does not give the
05:24Spaniard even a sniff this time around and this was a lap ago on that very same
05:30part of the racetrack coming through the final turn again Van Drunen went
05:36defensive that momentum two corners in a row was enough for Guillen to get by but
05:40not able to stay there because she just ran in deep Van Drunen read it well cut
05:46back to the inside closed off the opportunity through turn one Van Drunen
05:50managed to hold on to the lead and she leads still by 1.2 seconds with the

06:44Cannon hasn't been dropped completely by Fontenese so I wonder whether it was a
06:48mistake that allowed Fontenese just to break free in the end of Cannon
06:52but Cannon's starting to come back at the Italian they see on screen you top two
06:57and then third and fourth Fontenese just under the monster banner now

07:09the middle this time around but she's not clean through there and Guillen
07:12carrying so much speed the gap as they hit the line at the end of lap three half a

08:10Guillen again just trying to generate momentum up over that it's a very
08:17difficult triple I've got to say even in dry conditions around the outside but no
08:24way through she cuts back to the inside this time and she may even try to cut
08:27back early at the bottom of the hill out of this right-hander but change the
08:32mind goes all the way around the outside Van Drunen was kind of caught
08:36between two minds there do I kind of read the cut back or what and then neck

08:43Daniella Guillen was already committed to that outside takes over the lead got a
08:48new leader on lap four and she is in silver medal position in the 25
08:52championship as it stands right now

10:16deep ruts on that crest
10:21spoke to her this morning just as she'd arrived in the paddock with her team boss
10:26Yariv Konski and just said she was disappointed with the race she rode yesterday but
10:30just trying too hard as well to make amends and I spoke to Yariv afterwards as
10:35well he just said I think she was just trying too hard to impress in front of the
10:38home fans just to give them something to cheer about so it's not easy riding
10:44your home Grand Prix and this is the first experience for Charlie Cannon don't
10:47forget to ride at home despite having ridden a few races in the World
10:53championship back in Europe just adds up a little bit of extra pressure
11:01but hopefully a little bit more settled this time around in race to backmark has
11:04just started to become problematic with nine minutes to go
11:09the end four and a half seconds clear of Vandrun and Fontanese two seconds further
11:13the back needs to take second in the race if she is to take second in the
11:18championship by a point
11:26she arrived here second in the championship
11:30knowing that it was gonna be quite a difficult task anyway 16 points
11:36but you can see she's closing in again once more on Vandrunen
11:48Vandrunen can't afford to hang around but the one thing that she does have even if
11:52Guillen finds a way even if Fontanese finds her way past is that it's Guillen who
11:57leads and not Fontanese and that championship stat that we had earlier in the race
12:02where if Fontanese wins a race Vandrunen can afford to finish as low as six
12:07well with Guillen leading the way he can afford to drop a little bit further down
12:10the order not too much but there is more of a safety net there at the moment with
12:16eight minutes to go
12:24wasn't the best lap time last time around for Lotta Vandrunen 1.49.2 compared to
12:2846.3 and 47.7 of Guillen and Fontanese and it was a 47.8
12:39gap between the first four ran about eight seconds we'll get another time
12:43check as they hit the light it's now 10 actually because Canon just losing touch
12:49losing a bit of time in the second third and fourth sectors on this racetrack
12:56but the battle for second place heating up now
13:03Vandrunen is being caught by Fontanese
13:07number eight on the gas gas a bit of a steady start to the race for the number
13:15eight but there's conditions have improved maybe dried out a little bit normally she's
13:19pretty good in the wetter conditions
13:25she was just a little bit more tentative than Guillen and Vandrunen Vandrunen you
13:29understand because she was leading the race and obviously wanted to apply the
13:32pressure to the other two riders in the championship Fontanese and Guillen but Guillen
13:37responded first found her way into the lead and Fontanese now looking to get over tell

15:22was hoping for a podium but not able to do that she got fourth when she did that final round in
15:34in Turquia last year got a fourth overall in Spain back in 2023
15:38here she is going after Lotta Vandrunen who maybe now with about four minutes to go plus two laps
15:54starting to think about the championship just going into preservation mode championship mode if you like
15:59he doesn't know because the
16:05flying start that settled the nerves
16:07he'd rather be leading on that one rather than sort of
16:11going down in the first turn
16:12and then having to fight your way through traffic and
16:16that risk versus reward situation you do not want to be in that situation there

21:29so Fontenese can't afford to switch off now
21:33because she will lose second place in the championship again
