00:00Today will go down as a landmark moment in TNT sporting history as javelin thrower Keyshawn Walcott became the first national athlete to win gold medals at both the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
00:14Walcott struck gold in the men's javelin.
00:17And there was more history on the track as sprinter Jareem Richards clocked a new national record in the men's 400 meters as he stormed to silver.
00:25To tell us more, here's James Saunders.
00:27Well, that's right.
00:29Shall we get off the mark with a day of celebration as there's little left for Keyshawn Walcott to prove he's among the best in the world?
00:37Walcott's gold in the men's javelin today in Tokyo came 13 years after his unforgettable Olympic triumph in 2012 as a 19-year-old.
00:45But his winning mark of 88.16 meters in his fourth attempt was well beyond the 84.58 meters that earned him Olympic gold back then.
00:54Here's the throw.
00:55That's sealed it.
00:55He will be the first to throw, I think, in round five.
00:59And Walcott will round off this fourth round.
01:09Great throw in that second round.
01:12The wind is picking up in the stadium.
01:14Let's see if the Trinidad team and Tobago can harness that.
01:18Wow.
01:23He's putting together a lovely sequence here.
01:25He's never won the world title and he's let out a big roll there.
01:29His teammate Jareem Richards will be going in the men's 400 final later on this evening.
01:37It could be a big night for the Trinidadians.
01:39And that's the first 88-meter throw of the competition.
01:45He's beginning to assert his dominance here on a title he's never got close to winning in the past.
01:51Fantastic for the Trinidadian.
01:53And there's a nice high-five from Jakub Vadlec who bowed out at the third round.
02:00And a nice high-five from us as well.
02:02I tell you what, though.
02:03We've got more joy, joy, dong in our hearts as sprinter Jareem Richards delivered on his promise to run his heart out.
02:09And it paid off with a silver medal in the men's 400-meter final.
02:13Richards stopped the clock at 43-72, a new national record and a personal best,
02:19bettering his previous mark of 43-78 that he set at the Olympics.
02:23Well, the race was won by Botswana's Busang Kibinat-Chippy in a world-leading 43-53 seconds.
02:29And the men are off to a huge cheer, cheer, rather, in this stadium.
02:42And we can see that Zakiti Nene and Dori have hit the front quite early in this event.
02:51They go around that 200 meters, just about 21 seconds done.
02:56Kibinat-Chippy is at the front, but look at Nene.
02:59Kibinat-Chippy is at the front.
03:02Jamaica's McDonald is there, but who's hit the front already?
03:08It's Busang Kibinat-Chippy.
03:10He's at the front.
03:12What time are we going to see?
03:15How close is he to this?
03:1743.54 seconds.
03:20You're about to be at home and see you next to us.
03:34Oh.
03:34What am I saying?
03:36You said about me, yes.
03:37What am I saying?
03:37How close is it?
03:39Today?
03:39I was writing it.
03:39I am saying you.
03:41I have to be at home and see you downstairs.
03:44What does it tell you?
