00:00All I can say is glory to God, man. It's been a long season. It's been a long few years.
00:07It's been on my heart and my spirit to just say, it's not me, but it's God. It's all God.
00:13He deserves the glory. He deserves the praise. I've been working very hard.
00:17It's been, I would say, a little bit disappointing for the past few years to just fall short of our medal.
00:222019, didn't make the finals in the two. 2022, was sixth in the 200s.
00:282023, just missed out on a final. 2024, missed out on a medal.
00:342025, by the glory and the grace of God, a silver medal out of lean two, probably the fastest time ever ran out of lean two.
00:41Coach kept telling me I have the strength and the power to be able to run 43.5.
00:46So just trusting my training, trusting God, and just keep going.
00:49I wasn't shaken by the lane.
00:54It was definitely a difficult lane, but we wasn't focused on that.
00:57Coach said, just run it like a 4x4, keep positioning yourself, and get better each hundred.
01:03And I just trust in the process, trusting God, and I was able to, you know, come up with a silver medal national record.
01:08I didn't even put that down.
01:09It just goes to show what I'm capable of in this event.
01:14I thank God that I'm able to be such a versatile athlete.
01:17I started off predominantly more 200 meters, and now I'm a seasoned 400 meter runner.
01:24Glory to God, man.
01:25I mean, this means so much to me.
01:27I lost that words, man.
01:30I mean, Jareem, you had Walcott also win a medal today.
01:34Like, what is the country feeling right now?
01:36Keyshawn is my roommate, man.
01:38He put, I was warming up, I saw him get a medal, and he put so much pressure on me.
01:42I was like, well, okay, if he do it, I need to do it.
01:44I need to back it up, you know.
01:45So it's a great day for Trinidad and Tobago, a blessed day for Trinidad and Tobago.
01:50I really, really hope that, you know, our country recognizes the glory and the caliber of athletes that we have.
01:56We were able to do so great on the whole stage, and we only came, this is our smallest contingent, and one of our biggest medal halls.
