There actually was some Trini flavour at the Grand Slam Track in Kingston as Jereem Ricards was the lone T&T athlete involved.

The World Indoor 400m champion finished third on eleven points in the men’s Long Sprints despite being on medication as he was under the weather.

However, he was extremely happy to fly the flag of T&T at the new event.
