00:00my name is Allison Victoria gosh I made a name for myself as a successful Chicago designer
00:10it's stunning it's just unbelievable I built my business from the ground up I've never had
00:17anything this beautiful in my entire life only to watch it crumble before my own eyes
00:23there's a lot of trauma there where'd the money go sorry guys I'm freaking out
00:33so I am leaving the Windy City behind and heading back to Las Vegas where it all started for me I'm
00:40looking for new opportunities and I'm really gonna lean on my friends here in Vegas I am
00:44gonna need your help any and all introductions don't worry it's just gonna be a learning curve
00:49it's all here Vegas has everything if you want work we have billionaire level relationships
00:54this is gonna be the star of the street the only thing is I have no cash nothing really working
01:02out I will help you're gonna be just fine no crew no safety net it is breaking point after breaking
01:09point this is not going to be easy the last call with me and you was very clear you told
01:15they had a hundred thousand more I'm only going off of what you told me it's principle for me
01:20principle as far as that we don't have x-ray vision and can see what's in there we're not
01:24going to come in and hold this is what this is we don't even know if this is what this it's I have
01:28to protect them you guys have to we're on the same team you told them that my designs look like
01:32not everybody's gonna like your designs so I'm starting all over again and now I'm betting on
01:40myself okay let's do it oh my god wow
01:49tell me about this event we are going to the residences by four seasons these two high-rise
02:16towers are getting built into the mountain overlooking the entire valley I need to re-establish
02:21myself here in Vegas and let people know that I'm back so my friend Camille who's one of my best
02:27friends she was like I want to get you into these new projects just to see if there's something there
02:32I feel really grateful that she's including me in that kind of stuff because I need it leaving
02:37Chicago's a huge move for me and something that is terrifying I mean to be 44 changing my life and
02:47changing where I'm living and leaving everything that I know it's a refresh you're starting over in a new
02:54city you know leaving Chicago was something that I had been thinking about for a really long time but
03:00it's so much harder to actually do it leave a house that in my mind I was like oh it's gonna sell
03:07immediately that dream home it's not moving I built myself a dream home in Chicago because that is where
03:18my life was that's where my business is that's where everything was happening for me so of course
03:24I wanted a dream home I put everything that I made into that house and then now I have this risk of
03:33leaving Chicago with all of my money completely tied up what the am I doing I can't sell those
03:41properties I wish there was something I could do to help you with that or talk to your agents but it's
03:45just foreign markets to me we have to get you reconnected with the city back doing your design
03:50out there networking meeting people and that's where you start and it is super scary it's a whole
03:55new thing for you I haven't been in Vegas doing this type of work in 20 years when I was 19 my mom
04:05and my stepdad moved to Vegas and I went to UNLV I started Allison Victoria Interiors in Las Vegas when I
04:13was 22 until the property sell what's the game plan my plan went my plan blew up it's scary it's really
04:23rough but thankfully you have us you have your friends and that's what you need to focus on the
04:29start of something new and there's always growing pains and I appreciate you inviting me to things like
04:33this get out there start meeting people making it happen yeah
04:37wow
04:49hi there hi there how are you I'm Allison nice to meet you hi Allison Craig Edden hey Craig nice to meet you
05:00it's been a minute since I have to pitch myself but I have to get my name out there and a brand like
05:06the Four Seasons is a really great place to start and a really good in for me to have I've been gone
05:13for over 10 years so the bulk of my career and business building was in Chicago oh fantastic so
05:21now I'm back bringing some of that style to us then bringing that style here we need it I'm on a mission to
05:26redesign everything in Vegas you can see if you look around and you see the number of houses going
05:31up right now there's a lot of people that need a lot of help well if you ever know of anyone that
05:34absolutely we'll make sure we put you at the top of our list for our buyers that are coming through that
05:39want to put their own stamp on their residences do you mind if I do just a little walkie real quick
05:43you bet let's go look out here because that view I think the biggest challenge she's going to face is
05:50finding the clients that understand her design Vegas has gone on this trend of very modern or
05:56desert modern and we're such a newly built city there's not the same charm as Chicago with the
06:04old homes Vegas is a bit different she's going to have to learn to mix her elements of the
06:08traditional and bringing old things back to life into a newer more modern city and so she's going to
06:14have to learn to adjust her design style to meet all clients needs I mean this view this is
06:20unbelievable isn't it beautiful it is cool to hear his perspective and him saying that he's going to put
06:26my name at the top of the list just to have my name in the mix at the four seasons I wouldn't have met
06:31him without you right for me it's just rebuilding myself absolutely and you do it best with your clients
06:37it'll work out perfectly this is a really good connection yeah great and this is crazy what's
06:41happening to Vegas Vegas is elevated it's not the Vegas you left and so it's a it's a different
06:47Vegas it's more intimidating but you'll make it happen yeah
06:50Vegas is a really really small town Camille put my name out there more and I got my first client
07:08Jeremy and Deborah they're amazing they're both doctors they moved to Vegas years ago they ended up
07:16buying a tract comb a beautiful one but they really want me to come in and customize it having this first
07:23client really in this first opportunity is a great way for me to build my portfolio it's a place I can take
07:30other clients this is really important to set myself apart and show Vegas what I've got hello
07:37hi how are you very good nice to finally meet you hey how's it going good nice to finally meet you
07:47yeah I was like the first thing you see is this big thing yeah that's kind of the problem
07:51when I walked in today I'm like what do we do how do we get to be where we are right now you have plans
07:57I know you're not happy with the plans meaning they're not perfect not yet right so we're gonna
08:02make them perfect you don't live here no obviously we are not living here I see that you started to
08:06demo we started demolition and the design plans came in we were slightly disappointed and decided
08:13to bring Allison and pause demolition they're working with a general contractor right now he ended up coming
08:18in with the designs and Jeremy and Deborah are just not happy with that direction I'm going to be
08:23redoing the design but that person's remaining is the GC so it's just it's kind of tricky
08:29I like modern style for Las Vegas that's where we disagree on because he's married to a French
08:35lady so I'm married to a French yeah I'm from Paris so it was my favorite city on earth that's great
08:41because that's my inspiration there is a great way to marry the two styles that you have yeah
08:47we're gonna make this look like France meets New York meets Las Vegas that's perfect I want to walk
08:55through and see how you envision it the house is a two-story it's traditional it was built in 2006
09:01it's 4,000 square feet which is very big but the space just is not being used correctly I just need
09:08to get a better sense of Jeremy and Deborah's priorities where they want to spend their money
09:12the budget and the overall vision for me to really get started this doesn't make any sense
09:18no why are we putting focus on this room yeah I don't like the roundness in general everything
09:24obviously comes down to the budget but I wish this weren't so round it's useless right but I don't know
09:28what the solution is yeah we don't know if it's structural and when they do the demo we will yeah
09:34demo is going to open it up for us yeah what we have okay so this is the TV family room this fireplace
09:42going here with the TV and I want a fireplace you can go create Paris Versailles you can go a little
09:50bit fancier on that cover your ears but fireplace I think you'll be okay with that I'm gonna do it
09:57the right way yeah the right way we're marrying all the styles that you guys love and then what
10:03you're thinking is this opens yes so the question then becomes how do you create some barrier between
10:10the two spaces right that's the challenge well good thing it's not a challenge for me so what did I see
10:15here that was a dining it's a formal dining room how do we get something that's not so closed off in
10:21here sure so obviously this was an island the other thing that I was going to bring up to you in here
10:27is obviously there's not a pantry yes that's something you would love in an ideal world I think
10:32we have three kids three kids yeah that's why reimagining this whole space is really important
10:39that's the kitchen could be right my whole thought is how much of this do we really need to leave up
10:45wall wise let me take a stab at the design yes okay show you something you haven't been thinking
10:50about maybe that'll be great yeah GC may have a heart attack but it's okay we'll get through who
10:54the general contractor he's gonna have a heart attack about the layout well because you he
11:00pressured him with the time so now he's like okay well I need I need to order things I need to know
11:05I'll deal with him okay deal with him let me deal with him he has no say in what the design is
11:10we gotta be able to move in June so June move in yeah is what you're thinking we're living in like an
11:17apartment with three kids Jeremy and Deborah have been in this tiny little apartment with their three
11:22kids and a cat and they're ready to move so I really feel the pressure to get them into their
11:28home within their time frame I think this wall should come down really yeah we'll do a whole
11:33design meeting with your contractor I'll bring the Xanax oh you won't need it you're gonna feel so
11:38zen for him not for me oh for him I trust you is he tough yeah I think he's just worried that he has
11:45this whole thing that's been proposed and now we're gonna like change it all I do this every day
11:49so he's just being a baby I'm not changing that much right no you're not I'm actually just gonna
11:54make it better for you guys to where you don't have to worry about the whole I want this you want
11:58this how do we do it yeah how do we make it to where we both love it so I want to just keep it
12:03that way right where you have everything that you guys want all in one it's gonna happen all right
12:10let me see upstairs let's go upstairs all right the way that Jeremy and Deborah are talking about
12:14their contractor is very unsettling for me you should not be scared of your contractor I'm getting
12:22a real bad taste in my mouth and it sucks because I haven't even met the guy oh wow oh what is this
12:29a lookout tower exactly this is our problem this is the biggest issue of the house what if this
12:36becomes a really cool library yeah that's what I thought too but then I need to close this up
12:41we could do something cool like an old piece of stained glass yeah this is so bad this is so bad
12:48it's so bad but this could be so good this rotunda is very early 2000s it's tough because structurally
12:56you're tied into it this is an opportunity to take a room that they really don't like and don't know
13:01what to do with and make it the star of the show so as of now you door stays big which is a big main
13:09jeez they really uh broke things out here huh nothing needs to be where it is no that's the thing
13:18so this is the perfect time to start imagining right what is possible this can't be just standard again
13:26you bought standard we're trying to make something look custom I'd like to think we're not standard
13:31people we want a custom patch on a not custom house you're not standard we're nothing standard
13:36I have to meet with chef and I need to walk this with him what's your budget the estimate is at 580
13:42I want to see every line item let me just take it all in having a big budget on my first whack at this
13:49I know how to work on a small budget but god it's really nice to have a big one guys this is exciting
13:55tonight I am meeting with jeremy and deborah's gc jeff all demo all work has stopped until
14:17I get them all the new design plans I'm going in with an open mind like I always do it's a little
14:22difficult because you know jeremy and deborah are kind of like well good luck you know it's like you
14:27kind of know you're stepping into something that I need to maybe armor up for hello how are you hey
14:36how are you it's good to see you yeah how's everything it's going good good heard their deadlines
14:41so I was like well we don't want to waste any damn time first let me start here I know you're
14:45worried about me coming in changing everything holding things up whatever I won't do that well
14:52we're ready to go so so I have questions okay I'm going to take a stab at a new kitchen layout because
14:57I want this wall gone this is going to be difficult now talk to me about it well it's it's bearing it's
15:05full bearing and it's a sheer wall but what could we open up well so right it's opened up here this is
15:12going to be really difficult to take out the whole thing or any of it so it carries the floor above
15:16it's a lot of money trust trust repairs it's possible anything's possible we can tear the house down
15:23okay we've got sarcasm we have attitude we have a bit of cockiness here and also it's very dismissive
15:39it's a major it's a major modification okay I don't do well with dismissive because that means you're not
15:45taking me seriously and I'm seriously trying to understand what we're able to do to make our clients happy
15:53you and I can go over these plans but this is what's designed right yeah I already have what you designed
15:58this one's full redesign and the kitchen's going to be a full redesign okay I'm gonna get it on paper show
16:06them the options and then once they pick their option then it's go time okay okay what is my option
16:14with it's all bearing it's all structural this the whole thing yep and actually this bears here that
16:20carries this yeah okay well this is a fast meeting all right well what else down here I have a stair rail
16:30design well let me see it okay so we want to all work together but obviously they're bringing me on to
16:35design the place so I don't want you to feel like you're because you're the gc2 right right right
16:41so I don't know if we can just put on our hats of design construction how do you feel about we can
16:49we can redesign it it's just well I'm gonna redesign it it's just gonna take the time right I won't take
16:54any time I'm real fast we just want to get going with it fully with you okay I don't want to hold
17:00anything up okay looking forward to it okay all right see you
17:04there's nothing structural in this space so we can just do anything and Jeremy and Debra they made
17:21it very clear to me they want to do something super unique after meeting with Jeff I just don't think
17:27that's something that he can do so I am meeting Sam who I know can do this he owns a company called
17:33SRS Fabrication his company does massive unbelievable installs all across Vegas welcome to the 2000s
17:43stupid but we can make it cool yes I have thoughts on this so let me tell you the concept this room
17:50I want to feel like a reading room for the kids for the adults something fun something unexpected
17:55but what could that be like is it like a tree house feel is it more European but still fun and
18:04playful for the kids right I want this to be something really magical we could build the bench so it looks
18:09like branches and then have cushions made to go on top right and then as it comes across here the
18:17branches turn into like you know that's where all your books are so so when Jeremy and Debra want this to
18:23be their library it feels still magical but a little more stately this would be like a dream room for
18:32any kid any adult like I'm 44 I want this room where do we want to spend their money where would it be
18:38best spent yeah because I still have a whole house to design I'd say the tree the bookshelf
18:43you're probably between 15 and 20,000 they're not gonna do that well then what do we do to still
18:51get something magical maybe this whole thing is the inside of the tree all the walls so this this is
18:59the outside so maybe right here you know like a cutout of the tree you're in the tree and then your
19:08bookshelf sculpted to save money so it looks like live-ed shelves yeah I think I think then maybe we can go
19:16down to like 20,000 for everything we could do everything this would be the special room where
19:24everybody's gonna want to be I know what they're all in budget is and I know how to piece and puzzle
19:29that together but I also know that this is a wishlist item this room is extra and if it's extra I need to
19:36be extra with it something that I probably wouldn't even be able to get away with in Chicago but I
19:41definitely can get away with in Vegas let's go make something magical
19:45all right
19:46hello look at this place hi how are you I'm good oh my god we dressed I get a hug right away
20:07oh wow I talked to Jeremy and Deborah and they are completely on board with turning that rotunda
20:15into this tree house inspired space but they want the kids to have a say thank you for the hugs so
20:23today I'm doing something a little different I'm gonna pitch the concept right to the kids I also need
20:28to let Jeremy and Deborah know what this is gonna cost everyone's excited to move into the new house
20:32yeah yes what if you could have a tree house in your house all the time yeah yeah because mom and
20:41dad and I talked about it and I think we came up with a pretty cool idea do you want to see a picture
20:46of it yeah oh wow what whoa that is so cool for the rotunda tree house we are gonna start with the paint
20:59and the texture to make the walls feel like bark on the outside of a tree we're gonna close up that
21:05weird opening and make it round and do a stained glass window for the floor we're gonna do a custom rug
21:12with the rings of a tree then I'm gonna add cushioned benches so they've got a place to sit
21:19and chill and store their books and their toys and all their games I'm gonna add shelving that's
21:24gonna look like it's carved right out of a tree and that's gonna be the entertainment center so the
21:29tv is gonna be there and the whole ceiling is going to be this printed fabric sky that's gonna be
21:35illuminated oh my god that's gonna be our new house it's gonna be our new house it's gonna be the
21:42new house yes raise your hand if you love it seven million percent wow and who here's paying for it do
21:55you have the money yeah how much money you got twelve twelve dollars yeah that's not covering it
22:02how much do you have I have 124 and he has almost 200 it looks like we are we're short by like $19,700
22:15that is expensive but this company is the company that builds all the big builds on the strip here's
22:29the cool part about this one too is we don't need Jeff or anybody on this one right so Sam would take
22:35this so we could build this now mentally it'd be nice just to see something progressing yes I know
22:40exactly what you mean I'm not done with the designs on the whole house and I'm gonna present those to
22:45Jeremy and Debra really soon but for the tree house nothing is stopping this project we can literally go
22:52right now we don't need permits we don't need anything so I feel like it's go time on this space
22:58because you know what's nice you guys are kids and you don't have to worry about any of the little
23:02stuff so you don't have to give your 190 you don't have to give your 136 because that's why I go to
23:07work so that we can have money so that you guys can enjoy being kids and the reason why we like
23:12this room is because it's something forever you'll be able to go and remember what it's like to be
23:17a kid and even we can pretend to be kids and spend time together I know it's pretty steep with the
23:23budget but the thing is that a room really is a problem in the house I think we gotta go with the tree
23:30house yeah Jeremy and Debra approved all the designs for the tree house and they really just want to
23:37see progress in the house so while I finished designing the first and second floors Sam and
23:42his team are going to start fabrication they're cutting shelving they're building panels framing for the
23:55stained glass round window and prepping the shelves while I'm working on the main house
24:03time to pick our pain I have to finish the design plans in order to keep the house on schedule Jabber's
24:22gonna meet me at the house we're gonna go choose paint colors for walls the ceilings the baseboards
24:27and I plan to just do one color for all of them picking white colors is not as easy as everyone
24:33thinks so I've made it easy so these are these peel and stick samples from Sherwin-Williams that I love
24:38what I love about these peel and stick samples is you can take them on and off the wall so I see them
24:43in different light in different rooms okay so gypsum white snow then our natural white picking the
24:58perfect white is the hardest thing to do yeah I gravitate towards the one on the left me too
25:04that is the most neutral it's not stark white yeah and it has a little something it's also my favorite
25:11mm-hmm definitely gypsum okay gypsum it is
25:14hello hello hey what's going on hi how are you good hey guys looks good demo finally started back up at
25:32Ardia my designs are done I'm meeting with Jeremy and Debra and Jeff I want to show them the design
25:39plans so we can get past the demo and just start building no saving the cabinets no we're not saving
25:45any of this stuff definitely definitely love that remember we were gonna do some exploratory demo we
25:50don't need to oh we don't here's you want to see the solution sure yeah that will not give you a heart
25:58attack I'd love to see it okay from the front on this side we are closing it up my plan is to try
26:07to square out the rotunda by closing off one of the walls and putting a really cool antique piece
26:13there so it's a built-in then in the kitchen I'm gonna add a pantry they don't have a pantry and since
26:20we can't lose the wall between that kitchen and dining room I'm just gonna move that opening over about
26:26five feet so it gives them better sight lines from the dining room this is gonna be a problem though
26:33well come on Jeff give us something throw us a bone tell me why we're using the same opening size
26:39closing this well because remember it's a sheer wall Allison it's a sheer wall which means I have
26:44to relocate that sheer but we could do that this is a big game changer because I'm trying to put the
26:50whole pantry back here yeah that's not that's not a problem no that's good that's not a problem
26:56that's good that's a good little like I know it's a big issue but like we're not changing the rotunda
27:02yeah it's just it's the worst part of the house to try to make a change to it's just gonna make the
27:07biggest difference for you guys to live and actually use the room yeah I guess we could close
27:12it off completely but god wouldn't it be cool it will be cool I don't want to downplay this Jeff
27:17we want this opening I know you got a higher guy no I've got to get we've got a guy Allison oh you
27:23have a guy in house well yeah the plans are we're already in for permit on this house everything's been
27:28designed right yeah but you knew that it was all getting redesigned when I came in so anything that we
27:34do here means that I got I have to drive down to Henderson right and pull those plans out yeah I do this
27:40every day right yeah right I mean I know how the entire business works okay so now here we are
27:45with a house that's being designed by me are you saying you can't do it then well they want to be
27:51in the house in 2025 right well that's not gonna happen well why we can't I'm not gonna have this
27:58house done because of an opening you're not gonna have it no no I'm just talking about the whole
28:01the whole the whole job but why the whole job all my stuff's ready to go can you make this opening
28:07happen because that's the only change that you have you don't need to know if we change this then
28:14we then we have delays I've been doing this for 25 years I understand everything about it what I
28:20understand is you need to get us a price and then you need to tell us what that does to the schedule
28:26I gave him a price did you not for this opening if you send me a text message I'm not going to share
28:30it with everybody it's appropriate 100,000 just to guess the kitchen will double in cost
28:34why would the kitchen double in cost so with appliances probably 200,000 increase 200,000
28:39Allison I need your design before we can talk about schedules we are wasting our time here
28:44unless until I have a design so once I have the design I can give you the answers you need does
28:48that make sense please don't talk to me like that
28:51I mean it Jeff I don't like that I deal with everybody in this industry I don't want to be talked
28:59down to I don't want to be I don't want anything like that so we all have to work together and
29:04all I'm saying is can you get us a price to put the opening here and if it's too expensive and it
29:11costs too much time then we all know we're scrapping it right and we talked about that 30 minutes ago
29:17Jeff see that's it that's the beat that's the same thing hold on Jeff but don't be condescending
29:23I could see right through it and I don't like it this is just frustrating to me right I know but I
29:29don't want you to be frustrated well I'm frustrated this is stuff that you and I need to talk about
29:33all right then why don't we talk right now let me shame and we'll talk okay
29:37that went great
29:42what is frustrating I don't want to be braided by you in front of my guys there was zero braiding
29:51there is literal stand-up for myself I don't need drama okay I need happiness we're a long ways from
29:58happiness right now well we shouldn't be a long ways from happiness I feel like I was getting
30:02really really mean in there I felt like I was being backed in the corner you understand that
30:07right I was literally standing up for myself what did I say I've already told you we can't take it
30:12out Jeff the way you said it you go I've already told you twice I mean come on if somebody talks
30:18to you like that you're gonna know that they're being in this business you know this changes all
30:22the time clients change their lines they do it we shift we hate it but we shift so just consider
30:29this just one of those things where they're like we want to try it how much would it cost us
30:33gonna be a lot of time and a lot of money we came up with two options the second one is no opening
30:39so you don't have to worry about it okay yeah I get it I'm gonna talk to Bob tomorrow about the
30:44opening all right
30:49all work on the main house is stopped because we're waiting for Jeff to get a price on moving the opening
31:11in the kitchen Jeremy and Deborah they want to see progress on the tree house so Sam and his team
31:18are cutting the stained glass frame Jeremy and Deborah are picking the color for the walls in the
31:26rotunda the goal is to make it look like a tree house definitely you want to do that yes
31:32and Sam's team is going to start adding that texture to the walls to make it look like bark
31:38I'm going to start playing around with the colors for the stained glass window
31:45look at these oh my god how did you do this it's a secret secret okay don't tell me your secrets
31:53but now it's all about the art oh I like that is that cool or what can't wait to see it all
32:01together I know I'm waiting for Jeff to get back to me on that cost on moving that kitchen wall so
32:18while I wait I'm gonna go check in on the rotunda that's actually moving forward right now the wall
32:24treatments up and it's setting then the finish can go on top of it then we can start putting in all the
32:30detail stuff nice hello again look at you this thing's ridiculous I want to do the hearts I'm
32:39gonna write their initials with my hand which I think is so special and so fun it's gonna just
32:44be in the room for up yeah it's my little stamp let me see my entire team is in Chicago so I'm
32:55leaning in big time on asking for help my cousin Alexa lives out here she and I are super close I had
33:02go to this local fabric store and pick up some samples for me yes yes there you go there this is
33:11just cute all right let's look at fabrics oh yeah I know you know what that I nailed it this so this is
33:21one that's the most similar to this is amazing to the image that you sent me I want to make an outfit
33:27out of this whoa that's cool so you've got the rabbits the monkeys the birdies if I'm doing that as an
33:34adult room that's the one I would choose butterflies I love this okay good so order four yards all right I love you
34:04this rotunda came together seamlessly and today's the day I get to reveal it to everyone I didn't sleep that well
34:12last night like in a good way and I know the kids are probably feeling like what a big moment when you're that
34:17age so I feel like this is just a happy moment for everybody you guys excited for this all right are you ready
34:29to see the most magical space in all of the land yeah come up come up we've been waiting so long to see
34:36something all right now keep your eyes down don't look stay here okay don't look guys down down down
34:43don't look everybody get in order yes all right are you ready to see your new magical dream house open
34:51your eyes oh my god oh my god what do you think this is like beyond this is beyond and it looks big that
35:08looks bigger oh my goodness that's insane that's really it's like you're stepping in a new world
35:14I did not expect this look at the owl they made you so gorgeous you guys are gonna see things you
35:23don't even know look at the mushrooms on the wall it's it's big and even look the way the wood goes
35:29through in here is amazing look at our window the light from the window is outside it's like you step in a
35:37different work and the carpet it looks like a wingspaw on a tree yeah look I put mommy and daddy's
35:43initials with hearts that's cute do you think this is the nicest tree house you've ever seen
35:47yeah I didn't show you guys the fabric but look at snakes and butterflies the couch is so soft it is
35:56soft but this is my favorite room initially I'm entering the room and I'm trying to take it all in
36:01but my focus is really on the kids because I can just see their excitement and at the beginning of
36:06this that was really what I had in mind was just a room for them so it's it's an incredible experience
36:11this looks exactly like when you showed us the paper I think it looks even better
36:16does this feel like a real tree house yeah yes and do you guys think you're gonna hang out here
36:25yeah yeah tree house in the world I will not spend it I want to stay in the inn forever you'll stay in
36:32here forever this is my favorite room of the house well good because it's the only room that's done
36:36are you guys gonna be so excited to move out of your place and move in here yes I want to move
36:42here right now Jeremy Deborah you put a lot of money into this space I hope this gives you the
36:49brightest spot to think if this is what we could do with this small of a space think about what the
36:54rest of the house is gonna look like absolutely we're in the middle of the desert but this brings
36:58life you know you feel like you're yeah you're someplace else it it transports you to another place
37:03you guys say thank you to Allison for all the hard work you're welcome you're welcome you guys are so
37:10great we initially approached this house and saw a whole lot of potential then we were encountering
37:15roadblock after roadblock so we took a risk with Allison by saying let's try to see what this room
37:20can be and it's gotten us back to that point where we're seeing the potential of the house
37:24this tree house is really exciting but where we are today is still in a difficult place we haven't heard
37:30back from Jeff we don't know what we're going to do about this wall whether it can be taken down and
37:34that's going to continue to linger in my mind so while this is a really fun day and I'm really
37:39excited I'm still very concerned about how things are going to look moving forward so I know we're
37:43kind of in a world of no right now I see it with some of our meetings you're kind of deflated I am too
37:50we'll get through it it's all this stuff is something that we're going to look back on and be like you
37:54know what everything happens for a reason yeah and this is just one tiny little moment
38:00in the big big moment in the big picture which is if this is what we do here think about what
38:07we're doing with the rest of that that was just a little room you didn't want I mean it's a fairy
38:11tale it is yeah this is a great space
38:13hello hey how are you I'm good how are you I'm on my way to meet Jeff everything has been at a
38:34standstill until we hear from him and his structural guy and whether or not we can move that wall
38:39I'm really hoping Jeff has some sort of update so we can actually lock things in but first I'm going
38:46to check with Jeremy and Deborah just to see if there's anything else that they want me to go over
38:50with Jeff I gotta level with you I gotta be honest with you after speaking with Jeff I'm just completely
38:55lost the substance of the conversation is basically this is going to look like
38:58for Jeff to say what I do that looks like is a massive massive you to me
39:05he can't work on a project where he doesn't feel like he has a sense of control
39:12he said that it is less work to modify the wall than to take it down completely okay but even to
39:20even to modify it is a major undertaking okay because it would require foundational work and
39:26would set us back months he doesn't think that the plan is going to come out nice he and Bob say that
39:32and that's what really worries me he said it could be difficult for resale
39:36I do this for a living and I'm I'm not not in a cocky way but I'm really good at it
39:43what I'm bringing to the table is absolutely one of a kind custom and gorgeous that's the way that
39:50we feel and that's why we were so enthusiastic yeah but then now I'm sort of like I I defer to
39:56experts when somebody else who also has worked in the industry says this is going to look like
40:02then what am I supposed to you know I'm like oh no yeah I want you guys to be happy I want you
40:08guys to have what you want if it's what Jeff designs you guys have to just move forward with Jeff
40:13I would love to design your house but if you guys don't want to go that route that's
40:19I totally get it I just would need to obviously know
40:24we believe in you we'd like to move forward I just felt like I needed your reassurance and I
40:31think you provided it you're not going to be let down by me and my team I also want to say that
40:38Jeff needs to understand what his place is which is he is to build what we tell him
40:42how's it going well it's going I had a call in Jeremy okay that was very shocking what was
41:09shocking you told him it would take months to move that opening and the answer is no again
41:15and then you told him that my designs look like
41:17next time on sin city rehab hello we want to keep the fireplace which I would never touch
41:34they demoed both sides of the fireplace I'm so pissed off how did they that up we are still
41:41where we were six months ago with Jeff okay so that's who your contractor yes yeah I know how
41:45much it cost all in to do this yeah fifty two hundred fifty two I thought you're gonna be like
41:50fifty two thousand nope five thousand two hundred
41:52this season on sin city rehab I just want to get my client base here definitely you have great
42:01connections you need to conquer the city Allison there's one house at a time right
42:05Tick Reed and Roy had the Tigers in here oh my this is Vegas how much did you buy this for
42:12we bought it for 1.1 I will elevate the I know you will this is not going to be easy
42:18Dave does not own this property there is no record of sale whatsoever what what what because you don't own
42:25the house not anymore we never owned it no it's also an answer no it's an answer
42:30doing Antonia LaFasso's kitchen is a designer's dream when we had the house in Venice we
42:40pieced it together with absolutely nothing oh no I'm serious welcome home this is stunning wow
42:50you really love it it's beautiful thank you so much
