00:00Previously on Sin City Rehab, I started Allison Victoria Interiors in Las Vegas when I was 22.
00:08I need to reestablish myself here in Vegas and let people know that I'm back.
00:13We'll make sure we put you at the top of our list for our buyers.
00:16After 14 years in Chicago, I am back and I've got my first client, Jeremy and Deborah.
00:22They're working with a general contractor right now.
00:25He ended up coming in with the designs and Jeremy and Deborah are just not happy with that direction.
00:30I'm going to be redoing the design, but that person's remaining is the GC, so it's kind of tricky.
00:36I think this wall should come down.
00:38The GC may have a heart attack.
00:39I'll deal with him.
00:40If we change this, then we have delays. Does that make sense?
00:43Please don't talk to me like that. I've been doing this for 25 years.
00:46What don't you understand about this?
00:49All work is stopped. Jeremy and Deborah, they want to see progress.
00:53This rotundant tree house, nothing is stopping this project.
00:57Oh my...
01:00Oh my God.
01:01It's like you're stepping in a new world.
01:03If this is what we could do with this small of a space, think about what the rest of the house is going to look like.
01:08We took risk with Allison and it's gotten us back to that point where we're seeing the potential of the house.
01:14Absolutely.
01:15After speaking with Jeff, I'm just completely lost.
01:18The conversation is basically, this is going to look like ****.
01:21I need to meet with the GC to go over everything.
01:26You told him it would take months to move that opening and then you told him that my designs look like ****.
01:31I did talk to Jeremy. It's good news. This is easier.
01:45Yeah, I heard it was easier to move it, right?
01:47Than taking the whole wall out.
01:49Yeah.
01:49But it's still very difficult.
01:51Yeah.
01:51It's very difficult.
01:52But so, but my bigger concern is that I would leave that conversation with you after you and I had a real coming to Jesus and then you tell Jeremy that my designs look like ****.
02:03Well, I don't know if I said that.
02:05No, you did.
02:06Because Jeremy is not going to lie to me about that.
02:08I've had people maybe say that I'm very direct. I've had people say that I'm very, um, aggressive.
02:15I would agree with that.
02:18I'm the boss of my business. I know what I'm doing.
02:21And I've worked really, really long and hard to get to this place in my life and career, just like you.
02:26Okay?
02:26Just like me.
02:27Right.
02:28That's the important part.
02:29That's not the important part. The important part is you said my designs look like ****.
02:33Okay.
02:34That's not playing nice.
02:36And I'm hired by them because they want me to design their house.
02:40Not everybody's going to like your designs.
02:43I've never had anybody not like my designs.
02:44That's fine.
02:45Right.
02:45Yeah, we don't like it.
02:47But that's fine.
02:48I don't care.
02:49It's not about you.
02:49Yeah, I know you do.
02:50They love it.
02:51It's not about me.
02:51So Jeremy and Deborah, who are my clients, who hired me to redesign the house, love what I did.
02:58Okay.
02:58And they want to do what I did 100%.
03:01Okay.
03:01And we're both here to do our jobs, right?
03:03So as long as we both understand I'm the designer and you're building it.
03:08I'm not going to take the wall off.
03:10Right.
03:11Well, you can talk to Jeremy about that.
03:12I will.
03:13Yeah.
03:13I'll work it out with him.
03:14Yeah.
03:15But you can't be one person in front of people and then another person behind people's backs.
03:21No, I'm not that way.
03:22You said my design.
03:23You're not that way?
03:24I had a real nice conversation with you.
03:26And then Jeremy.
03:27It was okay.
03:27It wasn't great.
03:30I was hoping it could be better.
03:32I was hoping tonight was going to be different.
03:34How would tonight be different when you told Jeremy that you thought my designs look like
03:37I can't have my own opinion?
03:40Do you find that offensive if I have my own opinion?
03:42You know what?
03:42What would you think if I said that I looked at your website and I think everything you've
03:48ever done looks like ****?
03:50I wouldn't care.
03:51How would you feel?
03:51I wouldn't care.
03:52You wouldn't care?
03:53No.
03:53I think this relationship is not going to work out.
03:56So I'm prepared to tell you I don't want to work with you, okay?
04:00Well, you and Jeremy and Deborah can have a conversation.
04:03I will.
04:03Because they hired you as their builder.
04:05I told you I wasn't going to have this interaction with you again.
04:08But then why would you say what I do looks like ****?
04:11And you think we're going to have a nice interaction?
04:13How does that work?
04:14I'm tired of being attacked by you.
04:16I'm tired of it.
04:17You are your own worst enemy.
04:18I'll call them and let them know the interaction I have with you and I'll work it out with them.
04:23Okay?
04:24Fair enough?
04:25Yeah.
04:25Nice seeing you.
04:27Bye.
04:27This is reality.
04:32This is my business.
04:34This is what I really do in life.
04:36I just so happen to have a TV show.
04:38But I've always just been a designer.
04:41And if he ruins that for me, it's a scary place to be because I could lose these clients to the big bad wolf.
04:50And then that big bad wolf can go and talk **** about me to so many people.
04:55And he's been out here longer than me.
04:57So what could that do to the reputation that I don't even have here yet?
05:07I've got to wait for things to get settled with Jeff.
05:10Whether it's friends or somebody that Camille's connected me with, I'm starting to get calls, which is awesome.
05:20I have a new client.
05:21So I'm going to go meet with Mitch and Rachel.
05:23And Mitch is a casino executive.
05:26And Rachel is an art teacher.
05:28They live in this awesome, historic home.
05:34Hello.
05:35Hello.
05:35Hi.
05:36How are you?
05:36Welcome.
05:37How are you?
05:38Nice to see you.
05:38Nice to see you.
05:39You're all dressed up.
05:41I love this street.
05:42Me too.
05:43The lots are big.
05:44Each one's so different.
05:45Right.
05:46Which is not what you see in Vegas.
05:47No.
05:48How long have you been in the house?
05:50Seven years.
05:51Okay.
05:51This is my grandparents' house.
05:53They built this house when I was a little girl.
05:55How is that?
05:56And so all my memories of them are here.
05:58My mother-in-law lives next door.
06:00Oh.
06:01Her sister lives right down the street.
06:03Her dad lives.
06:04We're all in this so you all get along.
06:07Yes.
06:07And how long have you been in this together?
06:10We live like three years together.
06:11Almost four years, yeah.
06:12Yeah.
06:12But we very much want to make it our home.
06:14Yes.
06:15Right?
06:15Now it's your turn to put your mark on it.
06:17Yeah.
06:18Basically everything in this house was just given to me.
06:20It's all leftovers.
06:22Really?
06:22Everything?
06:23Furniture?
06:24The whole deal?
06:24Most of it.
06:25Everyone changed things a little bit.
06:26No additions.
06:28All right.
06:28Let me get a lay of the lantern.
06:29Okay.
06:29Yeah.
06:30I mean, first of all, it's so charming.
06:32This house has so much family history because it's Rachel's grandparents.
06:37It's a cute little bungalow, mid-century.
06:41It's three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath.
06:43We've been trying to figure out a layout for six months, right?
06:46Okay.
06:46And we are still where we were six months ago.
06:49Yeah.
06:49We want to keep the fireplace, which I would never touch.
06:53Okay.
06:53This is so charming and so unexpected.
06:57That's a breath of fresh air because it's been a...
07:01It's been a topic.
07:02Our contractors spoke about it numerous times.
07:04Take it out.
07:04Take it out.
07:04You guys want to keep it?
07:05Let's move it.
07:06Why?
07:07No, we don't want to move it.
07:08This is what I try to put into houses.
07:09Right.
07:10Yeah.
07:10We're not taking this out of the house.
07:12Great.
07:13And then in the kitchen.
07:16Mitch is in food and beverage and casinos.
07:18He knows what he's doing.
07:19Okay.
07:20I would like a big commercial-style, chef-style kitchen.
07:23And so we want the hood, you know, that whole dramatic kitchen.
07:26And just the flow of the kitchen.
07:27Also, this house isn't efficient.
07:29It's super hot.
07:30In the summer, it's...
07:31Windows.
07:31We have three air conditioning units, but it's still hot.
07:33We have to have window air conditioners.
07:35Okay.
07:36And those are expensive wine items.
07:37We need those things.
07:39Okay.
07:39Our electric bill in the summer is...
07:40Yeah, astronomical for...
07:42Yes, as well.
07:43Yeah, I get that.
07:44Okay.
07:44You know what your wish list is, but you don't know how to make it happen.
07:48Right.
07:48Exactly.
07:49Okay.
07:49What's the budget?
07:51$350.
07:53$350 is where you'd like to be.
07:54Yeah.
07:54That's where we'd like to be, yeah.
07:55Okay.
07:56So now, you come in here, and this is wine...
08:03It's kind of a waste of space.
08:04Yeah.
08:04No one sits there.
08:06I think at one point, there used to be a bar.
08:08It was a wet bar.
08:09Okay.
08:09The bar was taken out.
08:10My grandparents, like, yeah, they used to, like, hang out there.
08:13Old school.
08:13So we've thrown around, do we get rid of that wall and make it a bar that kind of flows into
08:18that room?
08:19My initial thought would be, this is the bar, because then it's right off of here.
08:23So even in the summertime, you could have cocktails coming in and out of here.
08:28More of a hangout, cool lounge area here.
08:32Get rid of that door.
08:33And maybe the dining room's going to be here.
08:35Maybe.
08:35Because that naturally flows here, and you would use your dining space more, and then family
08:41could be over here.
08:42These are good ideas.
08:43I like the flow of that better.
08:45Because I like the idea of the dining room off the kitchen, so it's your cooking, your
08:49talking.
08:49For sure, everybody's here.
08:50Yeah.
08:52Okay, show me the other space.
08:54Okay.
08:54That way I get it all together.
08:56Okay.
08:57All right, then this is where the project happens.
08:59This is where we need a little help with our primary bedroom.
09:02Right.
09:03Okay.
09:04All right.
09:05Big space.
09:06Yeah, it's a big space.
09:07Yeah.
09:07Is this one of the closets?
09:08This closet is weird.
09:10So this is Mitch's, but a lot of it's mine.
09:12Oh, it goes back.
09:13Yeah.
09:13It's strange, though.
09:15I would love to bust into it and make a giant closet for myself.
09:19There's no closets?
09:20Yes.
09:21You don't have to.
09:22That's not a funny matter here.
09:24That's a very serious deal.
09:26Yeah.
09:26So then right here is the old bathroom.
09:28What's here?
09:29That's my big closet.
09:30Which is cool because it's a big walk-in.
09:32Yeah.
09:34Okay.
09:35All right.
09:35This whole room is a lot of room.
09:37It just sucks the way it's laid out.
09:39Yes, it does.
09:41What about French doors in the bathroom?
09:44We spoke about that yesterday.
09:45We did.
09:46To have your own space where when it is nice out and those are open and you feel like you're
09:50showering outside.
09:52Love it.
09:52Let me think about it because this is a ton of room and this is too narrow.
09:56And this is a weird shape.
09:58It is just weird.
09:59Yeah.
09:59And figuring out the closets and not putting a door for the closet here like is what our
10:04contractor told us to do originally.
10:06To just do a single door?
10:08Yes.
10:08I don't know why you would want to walk in and look at a door.
10:11Yeah, no.
10:12Right now we're trying to have a baby.
10:14And so that's it.
10:16Wait, you could be pregnant soon.
10:18I hope.
10:19I mean, this is all going to happen so soon.
10:21Yes, we want our house to be done soon.
10:22We like to do everything all at once.
10:24Okay.
10:24All right.
10:25So we got a lot of things to do.
10:27Yeah.
10:28A lot.
10:28Okay.
10:29I'm going to see the plans that you have so far.
10:31Okay.
10:32That would be really helpful.
10:35All right.
10:35So this is what's being proposed.
10:37Yes.
10:38Okay.
10:39Look at the doors.
10:41All the doors.
10:42I know.
10:42There's no flow to this.
10:44Mm-mm.
10:45But you've been working on it for six months?
10:47Yes.
10:48We've been talking with Jeff since.
10:50Okay, so that's who your contractor is.
10:51Yes.
10:52Yeah.
10:55Got it.
10:57It's like a joke or something.
11:00And the contractor is Jeff.
11:02What in the hell is the chance of that?
11:05So let me take a stab at the plans.
11:07Yeah.
11:07Mm-hmm.
11:08See, if you like it.
11:09We're so happy that you're here.
11:11Like, everything that we've just talked about is exactly what we've been craving.
11:15Good.
11:15Forever.
11:17We have such an opportunity to really make this house look like it belongs on this lot.
11:22Yeah.
11:22Because it doesn't.
11:23It looks like something that's been passed through the generations.
11:26Yes.
11:27We want to make it our forever home.
11:28Yes.
11:28We don't plan on moving.
11:30Well, done and done.
11:31All right, cool.
11:33Bye.
11:33All right, I'll see you in like a week.
11:34Okay.
11:34Okay.
11:34Okay, bye.
11:35See you.
11:35Hey, Jeremy.
11:52How's it going?
11:53How's it going?
11:53So, it's been a roller coaster of emotions.
11:55So Jeff said that he thought that you guys were going to meet to have a conversation about
11:58what was going on and felt that when he showed up, you ambushed him and were critical of his
12:04work.
12:06He felt attacked and he stood up and left.
12:10And from that, he sort of gleaned that he cannot.
12:13You guys are not able to work together.
12:15How can he think that we're attacking him when all we're doing is saying, oh, okay, well,
12:21we can't take the whole wall down, but what if we move it?
12:24And he still just wants to say no.
12:26Then he shifted to, if this is the plan you want, and I can build anything, is what he
12:31said, but I am not willing to use somebody else's products, essentially.
12:36That is unheard of.
12:37I'm telling you right now, you guys should be able to bring in anything you want.
12:41Where did you leave it with him?
12:42He wants us to choose one direction or the other.
12:45Either complete it as we had planned before, or he is not sure that he will continue on.
12:51And is he going to give you your money back?
12:54I don't know.
12:54Do you want the home that he wants to complete?
12:57No.
12:57What we would like to do is we would like to continue to receive your help to build a dream
13:04home.
13:04Yeah.
13:04And we just need to figure out how to make that happen.
13:07If you guys keep him as your contractor, great.
13:09But you can't have him tell you no to your floor plans that you want in your house that
13:16you hire him to build.
13:18I think we just offer him the opportunity to continue to be a part of it, present the
13:23plans, and then we move forward if you're comfortable with that.
13:27Yeah, of course.
13:28Stand your ground.
13:29Okay.
13:29I'm not ever looking to get someone fired, but Jeremy and Debra are in a tough spot.
13:35They've given him $100,000.
13:36That's not chump change.
13:37That's real money.
13:39I don't know where anything sits with the financial aspect of their tie to Jeff, but
13:45they may be in a spot where they have to work with him.
13:51I need to help Jeremy and Debra.
13:52Give them options to find a new contractor.
13:55Let them do interviews.
13:57And at this point, I have to talk to Mitch and Rachel.
13:59This is just out of control now.
14:02What's going on?
14:03Hi, guys.
14:04Sorry, I wanted to catch you really fast because I told you I'm working with Jeff on another
14:09project.
14:11Right.
14:11Yeah.
14:12Okay.
14:12So does Jeff know that I'm redesigning your plans that he's done?
14:18Because he is not only giving pushback to my other clients, but he's saying that if he
14:24doesn't design the house that he designed, that he's not doing the job for them.
14:29I wasn't too hot on him to begin with.
14:32I mean, from day one with Jeff, I've been telling him to wait.
14:36So originally he drew a blueprint, which, right, I wasn't excited about.
14:40And he took it upon himself to draw a second blueprint, which we haven't given him any feedback
14:45yet.
14:46I want whatever's best for you, as long as he knows that he works for you.
15:04Hey there.
15:05I hear heels.
15:06Hi.
15:06Click, click, click, click.
15:07There we are.
15:09Jeremy and Deborah are going to meet and go over the designs for the house.
15:12They've already interviewed the contractor that I recommended, Brian and Lincoln.
15:17Good to see you.
15:18So I'm just excited to hear how that interview went.
15:21So I went by to show my parents the house this weekend, and my dad walked into the dining
15:26room and he says, this is kind of a coffin.
15:29And what it really needs is some way to mesh with the kitchen.
15:32Yeah.
15:33It got us talking, and maybe we conceded too quickly when it came to this wall.
15:37Absolutely.
15:38We said, you know what?
15:39We are investing all this time.
15:41This is the house of our future.
15:43It can't hurt to talk to somebody else.
15:45So we met Lincoln.
15:47Yeah.
15:47So we met Lincoln.
15:48And the first thing that he said is, listen, this could be done.
15:52It's possible.
15:52In order to do this, it would just be a revision.
15:54It would not take three to four months.
15:55You're looking at a couple of weeks.
15:57And that cost, yeah.
15:58You do it all the time.
15:59That's astronomical for that.
16:01So.
16:01It is something that shouldn't be a source of contention.
16:04So I'm really happy that you were open to at least talking to someone else.
16:08I think it's going to pay off.
16:09Yeah.
16:09Because we're not going to have to compromise on something that's important to me.
16:12Yeah.
16:12So where's Jeff?
16:13I said, I revisited the house, and we really want to address this wall.
16:16His response to that was, well, you know, it's kind of like my red line.
16:19And then he said, well, actually, if it's just going to be part of the wall, then, you
16:23know, I have to sleep on it, is what he said.
16:25Okay.
16:26And when he said that, that's when I responded with, if we can't all speak together, it's
16:31not going to work.
16:32I told him, I'm like, I had it.
16:34I really don't.
16:34We don't want to be doing this now.
16:35No.
16:35So after I told him that, I said, Jeremy, if you want to make the hole in the wall,
16:40not the whole wall, I will do that.
16:42But you can't work with Allison.
16:43There's advantages for both of us in this scenario.
16:46He said, I'll build the pantry too.
16:48I'll do a better job than she will.
16:49As far as other stuff, we have time to hire another designer to work with Debra on the
16:53other stuff.
16:54He wasn't giving you any wiggle room.
16:56And now him dangling a carrot again, saying, if you fire her, then I'll give you everything
17:02you want and more.
17:03It was a big decision, but it's the right, I think it's the right move for us.
17:07Wish him well, but...
17:09Dispense with the negativity and now go with the positive.
17:11Good.
17:11Here we go.
17:12Off we go.
17:12I like that.
17:13Jeff and I should have been a team.
17:15Instead, he looked at me as competition.
17:18Doesn't work like that.
17:19He's gone.
17:21And he will not be missed.
17:22And it is go time.
17:24All right, so let's go through the plans.
17:25You are going to lose your mind.
17:27You ready for your kitchen?
17:29For the kitchen, I want to do the perfect mix of vintage and modern.
17:33I want it to feel functional and breathtaking.
17:36So we're going to completely hug the entire kitchen and cabinetry so there's nothing but
17:40storage.
17:41The centerpiece and focal point is, of course, going to be this beautiful art piece of a
17:47hood.
17:47So you have nowhere to look except that.
17:51We have modern and we've got a little bit of a traditional look.
17:55A lot.
17:55I love that one.
17:56Yeah.
17:56Yeah?
17:57It's perfect.
17:58Okay.
17:58Yeah.
17:59Yeah, it doesn't look like something you'd see every day.
18:01No.
18:01Exactly.
18:02Which I appreciate.
18:02We don't want anything that you would see every day.
18:04We want the unexpected.
18:06We want people's jaws to drop.
18:07And it's combining all the things that you love.
18:09Absolutely.
18:10Let's go to the main bathroom.
18:13In the primary bathroom, we're going to lean into how big this space is and make it feel
18:18really modern and timeless.
18:20A big walk-in marble shower is going to set the tone with so much elegance.
18:25A huge floating white oak vanity is going to bring beauty and functionality, and it's
18:30going to keep the space really light and airy.
18:33The statement piece is going to be the freestanding clawfoot tub that we're going to add, finished
18:39in a matte black.
18:40And the flooring throughout will be a quintessential black and white marble mosaic that's going to
18:45complete the whole room with so much texture and charm.
18:49I love this.
18:50Yeah, I think it's really nice.
18:51Okay.
18:52I got my work cut out for me.
18:56Lincoln and Brian over at Kingdom & Company are getting right to it.
19:00They're starting on Jeremy and Deborah's restart demo on the house.
19:04They're ripping up all the flooring.
19:06They're getting rid of those ugly medallions.
19:11Well, if they work on the house, I'm going to go and take Deborah antiquing.
19:15I found the best place in Vegas.
19:18Grouse House Antiques, they're all European antiques.
19:21It's this mother-daughter team.
19:24It's perfect.
19:25Hi.
19:26Nice to meet you.
19:27Nice to meet you.
19:28Nice to meet you.
19:29Everything is from all over Europe right now.
19:31A lot of French things.
19:32Mostly French and Italian.
19:34I was thinking.
19:36You know the dining room wall?
19:37Yeah.
19:38It's an old vitrine from Paris.
19:41I actually really love it.
19:42We want some unique piece.
19:43They have almost like a soul or story.
19:46They've been through so much.
19:48And to me, it's so much character.
19:50Hello.
20:06Hi, Allison.
20:06How are you?
20:08I'm good.
20:08How are you guys?
20:09Oh my gosh.
20:10Well, we're great.
20:10We have some updates.
20:12We reached out to Jeff to let him know we're opening up the job to other bids.
20:17And unfortunately, I have not heard back from him yet.
20:22Yeah.
20:23He never called you back?
20:24No.
20:25We've been ghosted since last week.
20:28Shut up.
20:28Yeah.
20:29I think it just solidifies we need to find someone else.
20:34Everything happens for a reason.
20:36And I don't want that to ever happen to anyone else.
20:39But I also don't want to be someone that forces your hand.
20:42You're not.
20:43I think we're both comfortable moving forward, right?
20:46Kind of get the process started.
20:48Right?
20:48We love your design.
20:50Mitch and I went from arguing for a month leading up to this to being ecstatic and excited again.
20:56I have somebody really, really great for you.
21:00I'm sure you want to meet with other people too, but I would really love for you to meet Lincoln.
21:04Just to see if you guys vibe.
21:06I think that's great.
21:07Having a team that meshes well is really what we're looking for.
21:10We don't need any more stressor.
21:12Absolutely.
21:12Exactly.
21:13So I would love to connect you guys with him.
21:15Perfect.
21:16Yes.
21:16Yes.
21:17Okay, great.
21:18Excited.
21:26With Jeff gone, I'm having Rachel and Mitch meet with Lincoln and Brian, who have been
21:32doing such a good job for me over at Jeremy and Deborah's.
21:35Mitch and Rachel decided to hire them, and Brian and Lincoln have got to start working
21:39on getting a quote together.
21:41Over at Jeremy and Deborah's, I'm measuring that dining room wall.
21:45I need to make sure the antique that Deborah and I picked is going to fit.
21:48And I had to call Lincoln.
21:49I had to make sure that we could move up that soffit so there's not going to be any issues.
21:53Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
21:58Oh.
22:00That's funny.
22:01Let's just have a little Qatar.
22:02Hello.
22:04Hey.
22:04Hello.
22:05Hi.
22:06How's it going?
22:07Good.
22:08I get a call that there's a soffit issue over at Jeremy and Deborah's in the dining room
22:13where that antique piece is going.
22:15So I call Ethan to meet me, to look at it, and tell me what the solution is going to be.
22:19I mean, we already bought the piece.
22:21This thing is locked in.
22:22There's no returning.
22:23Let me tell you what happened.
22:25OK.
22:26So we found this antique piece.
22:28I had the measurements.
22:29I came here.
22:30Lincoln, I called him that day while I was here.
22:33OK.
22:34I said, here are my measurements.
22:36This is what we need to do.
22:37But we will not buy it until you give me the green light
22:40that we can do it.
22:41OK.
22:42And he said, we're good.
22:44OK.
22:45So they bought the piece.
22:46These are unforeseen things you see in remodels
22:48is the stuff that you don't know that's there.
22:50When Lincoln told you that, yeah, it could fit,
22:52and our understanding this is just an aesthetic soffit.
22:55We didn't know that there was all this plumbing in it.
22:57The problem with that is Lincoln needs to do that work first,
23:01meaning he can't.
23:02Do we even have a signed contract at this time
23:04when you ordered this?
23:05We're not going to come in and bust.
23:06But again, you have to understand my point, right?
23:07Yeah.
23:08Because we're all here for the client.
23:09Yeah, 100%.
23:10The number one thing is I cannot go back to them with the cost.
23:13I understand Brian's point of view,
23:15but I cannot go to Jeremy and Deborah with another penny.
23:19That's all part of my reputation.
23:21And if this is my first one in town,
23:24I don't want the talk to be at the end.
23:26She was great, but there were all these mistakes and oversights,
23:31so that soured the experience.
23:34What's our cost?
23:35We're sticking around $4,000 for everything.
23:36Just figure it out.
23:37We've got it taken care of.
23:38It's, I think, principle for me.
23:40Principle as far as we don't have x-ray vision
23:42and can see what's in there?
23:43I mean...
23:44This isn't an x-ray?
23:45It is.
23:46This is not an x-ray vision.
23:47We're not going to come in and bash holes in a house that we don't even know if we're going to get the job.
23:50This is what this comes down to.
23:51It's not x-ray vision.
23:52It's, hey, yeah, we think we can do it, but let me open the wall first.
23:57Let me see what the cost would be, if any, and then let me tell you yes.
24:02And I think if Lincoln was here, he'd be agreeing with me at this point.
24:05We're just going to take care of it.
24:06The customer doesn't even need to know about it and just make it right.
24:09Yeah, I appreciate that.
24:10It is what it is.
24:11We'll get it done.
24:12Okay.
24:13All right, cool.
24:14Thank you for this.
24:15Okay.
24:16I thought we were going to meet on the fact that there's an issue here, how to resolve it,
24:20not that, you know, Lincoln said yes and that's in stone and kind of felt that that was my frustration.
24:27I would think it'd be one of those situations where it should be a 50-50 type thing.
24:31We can't see through all the same.
24:32That's why we have that in our contract.
24:34Unforeseen things may arise.
24:35Unfortunately, that's a change order.
24:37To me, this is unforeseen.
24:38So it falls into that criteria.
24:51Jeremy loves fashion and he's not the kind of guy that's like, I'll take the smaller closet.
24:56Oh, good.
24:57I'm taking Jeremy and Deborah to put their closet design together.
25:01There she is with the heels.
25:03Hi.
25:04Jeremy, Deborah, Dominic.
25:05Nice to see you.
25:06Thank you for coming in.
25:07Thank you for seeing us.
25:08You know, Dominic doesn't know me, so I think it's important.
25:10Do you want to say a few things?
25:11I think it's important that we clarify one thing.
25:13People immediately assume the dream closet, it's going to be for the wife.
25:18But I think it's also important to know I was runner-up for best dressed in high school in North Carolina.
25:23Public high school, okay?
25:24It's North Carolina, not Paris.
25:26It's North Carolina.
25:27So in any event, this closet thing for us, it's important.
25:32Jeremy and Deborah have a huge walk-in closet, which was a bedroom.
25:36We're designing something amazing in there for them to share, but now we have all this room in the bathroom.
25:42And that space is what I think should be just for shoes.
25:46Well, why don't we start here for a sec?
25:48We're going to start with the shoe closet, because that's the most important thing to Deborah.
25:52What we could do is we can make it his and hers, right? Sides.
25:57The only thing I'm thinking about is he doesn't need as much as I have.
26:01Would you be open to, because I'm noticing like a height difference between you two.
26:04A little noticing?
26:05Yeah.
26:06The lower portion was all women's shoes, and the upper portion is men's shoes.
26:10I don't know if that's going to look pretty.
26:12It's nice if I see my shoes.
26:14I can climb, it's okay.
26:15I'm used to it.
26:16I can climb.
26:17I can climb.
26:18Everything is too high for me.
26:19That's how we got pregnant.
26:21People always wonder about the mechanics.
26:24Stop.
26:25Maybe they don't.
26:26They don't.
26:27That's your funniest one I've heard.
26:29I thought that it was going to be just my shoe closet.
26:32You can have the whole thing.
26:34Aww.
26:35That was so easy.
26:37Deborah's shoe closet is going to have this stunning antique vanity with marble and wood
26:43that's going to be the centerpiece of the room, and a special place where she can sit and get ready and feel her most beautiful self.
26:50On either side of the antique piece is going to be tons of storage so she can show off her really impressive shoe collection and turn it into a boutique type feel.
27:00Along each of the return walls, I'm going to add even more storage and space for additional shoes and handbags, making it feel glamorous and so personal.
27:10I feel like I'm going to want to hang out in this closet.
27:12Yeah.
27:13The closet company is getting the right to work on Jeremy and Deborah's closet.
27:26We're starting that beautiful center island.
27:30Over at the house, things are moving so fast.
27:34Kingdom and Company demo that exterior kitchen wall to put in the slider that Jeremy wanted.
27:40And then we're going to do arched French doors for Deborah to soften the space and marry their two styles.
27:47After the structural engineer gave the okay, work is finally moving to open up that wall between the kitchen and the dining room.
27:57I've got Sam and his team building the custom pantry wall over at their shop, and that'll get installed as soon as Kingdom and Company are ready.
28:05And we started painting the finished spaces upstairs with the color that Deborah and I chose from Sherwin-Williams.
28:12And over at my other clients, Lincoln and Brian, have been able to get on the same page with Rachel and Mitch.
28:18How's this?
28:19It's good.
28:20Yeah?
28:21Yeah.
28:22Yeah, so far so good.
28:23There's just going to be a box.
28:30Hello.
28:31Hey.
28:32Good morning.
28:33Hi, guys.
28:34The opening between the kitchen and the dining room has finally been done.
28:39I am so excited to check it out.
28:42Coming right along.
28:43Woo!
28:44Look at this!
28:46Have they seen it?
28:47I don't believe so.
28:48Are you serious?
28:49Yeah.
28:50They're going to lose their .
28:51Oh, that was so tedious, too.
28:53Are you kidding?
28:54No, we got it done right there.
28:55Can I ask you why?
28:56Why would he say?
28:57Yeah.
28:58He just didn't want to do it, obviously.
28:59He didn't want to do it.
29:00Yeah.
29:01Do you want to know how much it cost?
29:02All in to do this, yeah.
29:04What it cost a customer?
29:08Do you want to know how much it cost a customer?
29:10$5,200.
29:13Yeah.
29:14I know.
29:15$5,200.
29:16I thought you were going to be like $52,000.
29:17Nope.
29:18$5,200.
29:19Where in the does he, like...
29:23We had the structural engineer come in, too, and verify that we weren't required to
29:27put any special footings in or anything, and...
29:29So this didn't require any structural anything?
29:32As far as concrete structure, no.
29:34I honestly can't believe what it took to get this opening done, but I know it's worth the struggle.
29:40It's going to make a living there so much better, and it's going to open up these spaces for Jeremy and Deborah.
29:45Here's your pink little palace!
29:59Orly is Jeremy and Deborah's daughter.
30:02She loves pink.
30:03We're going to do her room exactly as she wants it.
30:07So I picked up some paint chips.
30:10So we're just picking that paint color based on the things that we know we're bringing into the room.
30:14You have so many cores.
30:16It's so hard.
30:17How are you going to pick, Orly?
30:18How are you going to do this?
30:19Between all of those?
30:20I don't know.
30:23Yeah?
30:24Because I like that one.
30:26Which one do you like, Mom?
30:27We have Oleander and Bella Pink.
30:30Ready?
30:31I'm going to hold this up.
30:32This is your closet.
30:33And these are those pretty colors that we just got.
30:37Which one do you love?
30:39Bella Pink.
30:41Ooh!
30:42Bella Pink's the winner!
30:44You excited?
30:45So now, I've got to go to Sherwin-Williams and go pick up this paint.
30:49Good job.
30:50You're just a little designer.
30:51Okay, you did it.
30:52Every step of the way, we get closer and closer and closer, and then you get to move into your pretty pink palace.
30:57Yes!
31:00So much to get done over at Jeremy and Deborah's.
31:09Not a lot of time.
31:11So we just had to go full on.
31:14Drywall's going up everywhere.
31:16Flooring's getting installed.
31:18I just want to keep the ball rolling, so I'm going to go pick up the paint and just get this room finished so we can check something off.
31:25Hey, Adam!
31:26Hey, Allison.
31:27Welcome in.
31:28How are ya?
31:29I'm doing well.
31:30Good.
31:31I've got an order for Bella Pink.
31:32Yes, ma'am.
31:33You got the two-gallon.
31:34It's even prettier.
31:36I cannot wait to get this on the walls.
31:38So I'm gonna need it.
31:39I just don't wanna have a dumb job.
31:41Don't be struggling with a full stop.
31:44Over at Jeremy and Deborah's, the closet company is finishing up the main closet, Deborah's shoe closet.
31:51Painters are working on Orly's room with the color they picked from Sherwin-Williams.
32:03The custom pantry walls going in.
32:05Look at what happens when you can actually think outside of the box.
32:09Yeah.
32:11And we're installing that beautiful marble mantel downstairs.
32:15I'm gonna work directly with Ethan to get my hood properly put up.
32:20It's so beautiful.
32:21Good look.
32:22It's sexy.
32:23It's got the curve.
32:24Oh, my God.
32:25I cannot wait to see you.
32:27I'm gonna go hang out with my cousin Alexa.
32:34And I get to spend time with Steph.
32:36My nephew is just...
32:38It's fun.
32:39And I just have a little something, too, to talk to her about.
32:43Girl!
32:44Girl!
32:45Look at you!
32:47Give me, give me, give me this butt.
32:48Give me this butt.
32:49Give me this butt.
32:50Give me this butt.
32:51Is that the Ellen?
32:52Hi!
32:53How are you?
32:54My sweet boy.
32:55I know.
32:56Who's so big?
32:57He's 14 months today.
32:58I can't believe you.
32:59I know.
33:00I'm designing two houses, but I'm looking for more.
33:03And that means I need help here in Vegas.
33:06And Alexa would be the perfect person to help me.
33:09Alexa, my cousin, she worked for me for years when I was a casino executive.
33:16You're trying to juggle it all.
33:18Yeah.
33:19It's been working, but it's exhausting.
33:21Yeah.
33:22Obviously.
33:23But eventually, we're gonna need to put you in a daycare.
33:26Yeah, but he's a little bit older.
33:28Well, how old do they have to be?
33:30I think he could go now, but I just haven't looked into it yet.
33:33If I wanted your help, would you look into it?
33:36That's a conversation, for sure.
33:38I'm just, I want you to think about it, because I want to grow my business here with people that I trust and know.
33:44My whole team's back in Chicago.
33:46I'm gonna need help.
33:47I would love to help.
33:48I mean, the logistics are the tough part.
33:50If you can make extra money.
33:52I want you to have a team that you deserve and, like, the best team you can possibly have.
33:57And if I can't give you my all the way I could in my 20s when we worked together.
34:02You think you're too old?
34:04Stop it.
34:05You have a baby.
34:06I just think I'm in a different place.
34:08It's not like all of a sudden your work ethic went out the window.
34:10You think?
34:11You're an animal.
34:12Okay.
34:13You were an animal back then.
34:14You're an animal now.
34:15I would love you getting into the world of design.
34:17I trust it.
34:18I'm very much in my homemaking era of life.
34:22Yeah.
34:23So I think I would love it and love to learn more about it.
34:26And doing it with you would just...
34:28It would be fun.
34:29It would be fun.
34:30It would be scary.
34:31Hiring family and friends, very risky thing to do.
34:35But at this point, I'm willing to take the risk.
34:38I need boots on the ground.
34:40So if Alexa can even take just the smallest amount of that running around off my plate,
34:45then I can be more creative.
34:47Then I can be on the job to solve problems and issues that come up.
34:51I mean, I'm in.
34:52Okay.
34:53I want...
34:54I definitely want to do this.
34:55I think it's going to be a blast.
34:56I want to get out there and do something different.
34:57Done.
34:58And do it with you.
34:59Yes.
35:00The pros of working with Allison, for me, are kind of selfish.
35:03I crack up when I work with her.
35:06She's so funny.
35:07I love how she just seems to have everything figured out and under control.
35:11It's always a ride.
35:13It's always an experience with Allison.
35:15And I love that.
35:16All right, I love you.
35:17Love you.
35:18Let me know for real.
35:19I will.
35:20I'll go to the park.
35:21Okay.
35:22We love the swing.
35:23Okay.
35:24Okay.
35:25Okay, love you.
35:26Bye.
35:33Today's the day.
35:34I get excited for every reveal, especially the clients that I know don't peak.
35:38This one was way easier to keep a secret because they don't live here.
35:41Jeremy and Deborah are...
35:43They're going to lose their minds.
35:45You're going to see the greatest mix of modern, that's what you wanted, and vintage.
35:51Are you excited?
35:52Yes, yes, yes.
35:53I mean, the tree house was one thing.
35:54The real house is...
35:55Yeah, this is a whole other level.
35:56Yeah.
35:57I'm going to walk you back.
35:58Keep your eyes down.
35:59Eyes down.
36:00Are you ready to see your dream home?
36:02Ready.
36:03Yes.
36:04Open your eyes to see your new house.
36:07Oh, my God.
36:08Wow.
36:09No way.
36:10No.
36:11No way.
36:12That's incredible.
36:13Oh, this is beautiful.
36:14It's a million years away from what I expect.
36:28I knew it was going to be amazing, but...
36:30Are you sure this is our house?
36:31No.
36:32I'm not convinced.
36:33It's insane.
36:34Oh, I love it.
36:35Oh, my God.
36:36I knew it was going to be phenomenal, but honestly, I did not imagine it would be that
36:42absolutely breathtaking.
36:43I was trying to envision it with my eyes closed, and I definitely couldn't envision this.
36:50I walk into this house, and I'm thinking, am I worthy?
36:54Is this my house?
36:55No.
36:56I mean, is this really...
36:57You know, we've always been in an apartment.
36:59We've never been in a home.
37:00That's true.
37:01You guys...
37:02I mean, so to us, it makes you want to tear up because you just have to be so grateful
37:05for something so beautiful.
37:07There are no two people that are more worthy.
37:10You knocked it out of the park.
37:11Oh, you guys.
37:12You knocked it out of the park.
37:13And we had no doubt.
37:14I never had any doubts.
37:15You haven't seen anything yet.
37:16Well, we haven't even seen it all.
37:20Oh, the mantle.
37:21Oh, the mantle.
37:22Oh, the mantle.
37:23Wow.
37:24Oh, my God.
37:29Turn around.
37:30Wow.
37:40Did you see this?
37:41I mean, like, the pantry.
37:44Look how much cabinetry you have in here.
37:46Oh, wow.
37:47Wow.
37:48That's incredible.
37:50Gorgeous.
37:51This becomes that Parisian storefront.
37:53I know.
37:54I love it.
38:00Look at this.
38:03My piece!
38:04That's amazing.
38:05Oh, my God.
38:06That piece is even better than I imagined.
38:09Remember that we wouldn't have had this opening.
38:11You wouldn't have been able to see it from here.
38:13Oh, wow.
38:14It was the game changer that we thought it would be.
38:16Look at your dining room.
38:17This room that your father called a coffin.
38:18He called it a coffin.
38:19This piece, it makes it look even better.
38:20And the table.
38:21Can you imagine how different this house would be if this wall were here?
38:34It's a completely different house.
38:35Oh, yeah.
38:36It's a different house.
38:37And all of that, because you were willing to fight.
38:38Because for me, if a general contractor tells me it's not possible, they're the expert
38:39to me.
38:40There's no story without a struggle.
38:41Yeah.
38:42Oh, yeah.
38:43This is a story.
38:44That wall and moving an opening.
38:45That should have been so simple.
38:46Yeah.
38:47And giving you what you want and a house that deserves it and two people that deserve it.
38:51Okay, come up.
38:52That's your new bedroom.
38:53Oh my goodness.
38:54Ah.
38:55Jesus, yes.
38:56Okay.
38:57And when a gel contractor tells me it's not possible, they're the expert to me.
39:00There's no story without a struggle.
39:01Oh, yeah.
39:02Oh yeah.
39:03This is a story.
39:04That wall-
39:05And moving an opening.
39:06That should have been so simple.
39:07Yeah.
39:08And giving you what you want and a house that deserves it.
39:10Mm-hmm.
39:11And two people that deserve it.
39:12Okay, come up.
39:17Here's your new bedroom.
39:18Oh, my goodness.
39:20Cheers.
39:31Wow.
39:32Wow.
39:34Wow, it's so big.
39:36It used to look tiny.
39:38Look how much room you have.
39:39A little more modern in here.
39:41Mm-hmm.
39:41Your closet.
39:43Oh, my goodness.
39:44Oh, my God.
39:48Wow.
39:48Jeez.
39:49That is going to be filled.
39:51Wow, that island came out awesome.
39:53You guys.
39:54This is like a closet to the celebrities.
39:57Yeah, well, you guys are celebrities.
39:58I do not have a closet like this.
40:00I dream of having a closet like this.
40:03I feel that it's absolutely perfect.
40:07You ready to see the bathroom?
40:10Okay, look.
40:11Wow.
40:13Wow.
40:15Oh, my God.
40:16That is, that's a bathroom.
40:16Oh, my God.
40:32Oh, and he has the top with the feet.
40:34It was my dream.
40:37Look how beautiful this is with the...
40:39Yeah, but it's mine.
40:42This one is just mine.
40:44I'm not sharing that.
40:46Look at my clothes.
40:46Can't you put some of his shoes in there?
40:48No.
40:48No, I know.
40:49Actually, hold on.
40:50It's not completely complete.
40:53Until...
40:53Oh, okay.
40:58Wow.
40:58Now they're home.
40:59Does it even feel like the same house?
41:08No.
41:09It's a different world.
41:10Each room transports you to a different place, which is what's really neat.
41:13Yeah.
41:13There has to be a lot of gratitude to Allison.
41:15It's a very meaningful experience, something that we can build memories in and something
41:19that's going to bring happiness to all of us.
41:21Something that leaves you speechless because we're really just very thankful.
41:24Yeah.
41:27Wow.
41:29Is that a piano?
41:30That's your piano.
41:32I always wanted a piano.
41:33It's like a castle.
41:35Yeah.
41:35Who wants to go see your room?
41:37Me.
41:38Let's go see Orly's room first.
41:40Go, go, go, go.
41:43What do you think of the thing?
41:50I love it.
41:51Thumbs up.
41:52My room is the best part of the whole house.
42:02Look how cool this is.
42:05Hey.
42:06Hey, Allison.
42:07Can you talk right now?
42:09I walked over to the house and they demoed both sides of the fireplace.
42:15How did they that up?
42:17We're going to correct this.
42:18But how do we correct it?
42:19So we ran into a little issue with how this is constructed.
42:23The sunroom isn't up to code.
42:25There has to be something that we give up.
42:29I'm meeting with Dave, who is a house flipper here in Vegas, and I'm going to go check out
42:33this property with him.
42:34I will elevate the s*** out.
42:36I know you will.
42:36Yeah.
42:37And that's why I wanted to partner with you.
42:38I have some news that I need to know if you're sitting down.
42:41Dave does not own this property.
42:44What?
42:45Why is the house for sale on the market right now?
42:48I took it back to the owner.
42:49What do you mean you got back to the owner?
42:51Aren't you the owner?
42:52This is 100% my fault.
42:54I didn't know the contract was written that way.
42:57You didn't look over your contract?
42:59You didn't look over your gamer.
42:59No.
43:00It's 100% no.
43:01No.
43:01No.
43:01No.
43:02What?
43:03No.
43:04Let's go.
43:05Come on.
43:10Maybe you should.
43:13Stop.
43:14Got some shit.
43:16I know.
43:18How did you get this?
43:19You paid this?
43:20No.
43:22No.
43:26Bye.
