00:16After 14 years in Chicago, I am back and I've got my first client, Jeremy and Deborah.

00:22They're working with a general contractor right now.

00:25He ended up coming in with the designs and Jeremy and Deborah are just not happy with that direction.

00:30I'm going to be redoing the design, but that person's remaining is the GC, so it's kind of tricky.

11:53So, it's been a roller coaster of emotions.

11:55So Jeff said that he thought that you guys were going to meet to have a conversation about

11:58what was going on and felt that when he showed up, you ambushed him and were critical of his

12:10And from that, he sort of gleaned that he cannot.

12:13You guys are not able to work together.

12:15How can he think that we're attacking him when all we're doing is saying, oh, okay, well,

12:21we can't take the whole wall down, but what if we move it?

12:24And he still just wants to say no.

12:26Then he shifted to, if this is the plan you want, and I can build anything, is what he

12:31said, but I am not willing to use somebody else's products, essentially.

12:36That is unheard of.

12:37I'm telling you right now, you guys should be able to bring in anything you want.

12:45Either complete it as we had planned before, or he is not sure that he will continue on.

15:26room and he says, this is kind of a coffin.

15:29And what it really needs is some way to mesh with the kitchen.

16:49As far as other stuff, we have time to hire another designer to work with Debra on the

16:53other stuff.

16:54He wasn't giving you any wiggle room.

16:56And now him dangling a carrot again, saying, if you fire her, then I'll give you everything

17:03It was a big decision, but it's the right, I think it's the right move for us.

17:41The centerpiece and focal point is, of course, going to be this beautiful art piece of a

18:18really modern and timeless.

18:20A big walk-in marble shower is going to set the tone with so much elegance.

18:25A huge floating white oak vanity is going to bring beauty and functionality, and it's

18:30going to keep the space really light and airy.

18:33The statement piece is going to be the freestanding clawfoot tub that we're going to add, finished

18:39in a matte black.

18:40And the flooring throughout will be a quintessential black and white marble mosaic that's going to

18:45complete the whole room with so much texture and charm.
