00:11many tools in the free AccuWeather app are our map layers and in the new
00:16AccuWeather app that was recently released we've added a dozen more than
00:20a dozen new map layers and I want to show you how to access those. When you
00:24download the free AccuWeather app this is the today screen this is sort of your
00:27hub for all the relevant information for today has today's local AccuWeather
00:32forecast with proven superior accuracy, minicast and many other tools but look
00:36at the bottom this is where you different have different tabs to access other
00:40types of weather content. When you click on radar and maps you're going to get the
00:44fully interactive radar of course going to show you what's happening right now but
00:48you can easily press play and that will animate from what's happened in the past
00:52out to the next two hours so you can see how the weather is evolving. Now look at
00:56this there's several hot buttons on the top you could tap on temperature and when
01:01you do that you'll be able to get a fully interactive map that shows the
01:04temperatures around the country. Notice the temperature the colors of the
01:07temperature representing the patterns of various air masses and you could zoom in
01:12and as you zoom into various areas more numbers appear to give you more
01:16information about what's happening. Let's zoom back out a little bit further and
01:19there are other many other parameters you can access here to the air
01:23quality index and notice you could zoom in on various areas to see areas of
01:27polluted air and also areas where the air quality is very good and many other
01:32different parameters you press on all maps and you can list out all the
01:36different maps that are available including smoke and lightning many other
