Monitor multiple locations at once with free AccuWeather app

Chief Meteorologist Jon Porter demonstrates how you can monitor the weather in multiple locations at once when you download the free AccuWeather app, which also includes more than a dozen map layers.

00:00We have many tools in the free AccuWeather app to help you to stay

00:07safer and make the weather the best weather impacted decisions and when you

00:11download the free AccuWeather app this is sort of your home screen and this is

00:16where you can add a different tiles for various locations your current location

00:20will show up and then you can add other cities here places where you like to

00:24visit where your family lives where you have a business trip to next week can

00:29be added as tiles and you could tap on them and quickly go into any of that

00:33for your detailed local AccuWeather forecast I also want to highlight down

00:37at the bottom radar and maps and we've in the new free AccuWeather app we we added

00:42about more than several dozen new map layers because we know that people love

00:49to look at different aspects of the weather on maps and when you go into that

00:53interactive map fully interactive map because you can pan and zoom around

00:56notice the radar shows up very popular radar which you can animate from what

01:01has happened to what's going out to the next two hours but look at these hotkeys

01:05at the top you can click on clouds and and have a great satellite image that you

01:10can zoom in on wherever you'd like air quality index to be able to look at areas

01:15where there's poor air quality and where the air quality is very good of course you

01:19can zoom in and as you zoom in more information the actual air quality index

01:24value will show up there I also want to show you wind flow it's one of my

01:28favorite maps because you can actually see how the air is flowing and and how

01:33that's evolving over time which is very helpful you can go into all maps and view

01:38all the different map layers that AccuWeather provides AccuWeather has been

01:41proven to be the most accurate source of weather forecasts and warnings better
