More than a dozen weather maps available on the AccuWeather app

When you download the free AccuWeather app, you gain access to more than a dozen weather map features including but not limited to radar, cloud cover, temperature, wind flow and air quality index.

00:00We have so many features of the free AccuWeather app to help you to stay

00:07safer and make the best decisions. That's what we do here at AccuWeather and one

00:12of the capabilities we have a more than a dozen new map layers in the new

00:17AccuWeather app and I'm going to show you how to access those. Of course when

00:19you download the free AccuWeather app, which you can do by bringing up your

00:23camera and scanning that QR code that's on the screen, that'll bring you to a

00:27page that enables you to download the free AccuWeather app. Here's the Today

00:30screen. This is sort of your hub of information in terms of the current

00:35conditions, the AccuWeather exclusive minicast and your forecast for today and

00:40tonight and then the map layers and of course you can also get the map layers

00:44by tapping on radar and maps on the bottom but there's an interactive radar on the

00:48Today screen. You can tap on that and of course this is the very popular radar view

00:54that shows you what's happening right now and you can press play and that will

00:58animate from what has happened to what is going to happen in the future with

01:02AccuWeather's future radar. So you can see where rain is right now and where it's

01:06headed with that particular tool but look there's other hotkeys at the top here.

01:10You can click on clouds and zoom in. These are fully interactive maps here so you

01:15can zoom and pan wherever you want and look at the cloud patterns here from the

01:20satellite imagery and then you can also tap on all maps and that gives you a

01:24listing of all the different maps from government advisories which you can also

01:28zoom anywhere that you're interested in around the world. Hit all maps there and

01:32also look at other parameters such as the air quality index and that allows you to

01:36look at areas where there's polluted air and also areas where there's no air

01:40quality problems and then of course my favorite is the wind flow. One of my

01:44favorites as you actually see the movement of the air and you can loop that

01:48out over time and see how that's going to evolve. AccuWeather has been proven to be
