00:00Marami tayong mga kababayang sumusugal sa ibang bansa para maitaguyod ang kanilang pamilya.

00:06At dala ng pangangailangan, ang iba para nga sa kanila ay doon na rin naninirahan.

00:22Is it something that you guys both grew up with, yung ganong type of living?

00:26Not really. Kasi yung lifestyle namin sa states, very hectic sa hospitality business.

00:36Ako, 14 hours a day ako nagtatrabaho.

00:39Yan, totoo. Normal po yan.

00:41Six days a week or seven days a week.

00:43Yes, totoo po yan.

00:45One day, nakita ko na lang yung panganay ko, matangkad pa sa akin.

00:49Then that's when I realize, ang bilis ng panahon.

00:51So sabi ko sa kanya, let's sell everything.

00:56Pack up our stuff.

01:03How are the kids coping up?

02:00So gusto namin dito, we live off the farm.

02:04So in the morning, pagkagising namin, yung mga bata, kukuha ng itlog sa mga manok.

02:08Kukuha kami ng tilapia.

02:10Kung anong gula, ako in the morning, dito ko, lalakad na ako dito, maghahanap na ako ng kakainin namin that day.

02:17Yan mga ganito po, simpleng ganito.

02:20Yes.

02:21Tilapia po na ako.

02:22Red tilapia po siya.

02:24Tapos meron, may native na tilapia, kaya nagkabatik yung mga...

02:42Another thing is, kahit kayo mismo sa mga kapitbahay ninyo, you guys are able to share.

02:58Ang sarap i-expose ng mga anak natin sa yung sense of community.

03:02Na hindi natin magagawa or ma-experience sa ibang lugar.

03:14Then kami kumukuha rin ng minsan na pag may bisita.

03:18May nakita po ako native, pero may nakikita rin po akong mga road island.

03:20So, I mix the native and the road island kasi po yung road island hindi naglilim-lim yan.

03:28So, nagkabit kami ng native, pag nang-itlog yung native, lilipat namin yung itlog nila dun sa native.

03:34Tapos mapipisa.

03:35And then, at the same time, naka-hybrid na rin yung native.

03:39At least, nandito kayo sa stage na you are, I would say, enjoying it.

03:57This is the reason why I wanted to do this pasta dish.

04:01This basically introduced me to Western cuisine.

04:03I used to bring baon, pasta lang, and herbs.

04:09Because I was trying to familiarize my palate with different combinations of herbs.

04:14So, since marami kayong herbs dito, that's what I thought of doing.

04:20We were discussing, Sir Reg, that the farm side is basically just for your own consumption.

04:25So, yung business side naman po natin is mainly from the accommodation.

04:30Yung itong room po natin dito, good for ilan?

04:37Tapos yung parang kubo natin doon?

04:47Meron kami yung tennis court.

04:51Pickleball.

04:52Volleyball.

04:53And soon, basketball.

04:56In the future, inano namin yung ATV, right?

05:00So, hopefully, in the next few months, meron nang ATV or 2ATV.

05:05Then lately, nagiging ano na lang eh, repeat customers na lang sila.

05:09Sabi nga nila, ba't pa sila magpapagawa daw ng rest house when we have Redwood?

05:14Which is their second home.
