00:18Being bilingual is one of them. I grew up actually a native English speaker, but my favorite class in
00:24high school was Spanish. So when I graduated the proud Abington in Northeast Philly, I decided to
00:29double down and be a Spanish major in college at the University of Arizona. And you and I know
00:35being a nurse, being a writer, being a mom, and all the wonderful things that you do,
00:40you sometimes have to go above and beyond. I consider it dedicated practice. There's no way
00:45I could learn Spanish if I only did what the classroom required.
