00:09Welcome back to sport everybody. Can Trinidad and Tobago defeat El Salvador? That's the big
00:15question facing the team on the eve of the World Cup qualifier at the Haisley Crawford Stadium.
00:20The coach and captain of the team indicated that they are satisfied with the build-up
00:24to the contest. It's not to be expected. It's not expected to be an easy match as El Salvador has
00:31been crushing teams in their way so far. They defeated Barbados 13-0 after defeating Honduras
00:363-0. TNT was held to a 2-all draw against Honduras in their last encounter. They must win tomorrow
00:43night.
00:45The week's been really good so far. We've started preparing and bonding as we all want to do.
00:54It's quite important to us the sort of togetherness of the pitch. It has to go hand-in-hand with
01:00what we want to do on the pitch and we have to synchronise. It's been a good week thus far.
01:08Preparations have gone as good as they can. We had two days where we did double sessions in the morning,
01:15evening and then the players were given a rest day yesterday where they can stretch their legs,
01:20be with families and stuff like that. And today, obviously we train today in preparation for the
01:29game tomorrow. We did all our analytical stuff as well with individuals, with units, small groups,
01:38large groups. So we're quite confident and we feel good about how we've gone about preparation thus far.
01:46Well, captain of the team, Kenya Kordner, reaffirmed his sentiments.
01:51I think that we've been preparing mentally well enough because we know the task tomorrow is a very hard one.
01:58We're not going out there to underestimate anybody because El Salvador is a tough team, but a challenge
02:03that we could overcome together. And for the camp thus far for the past week, it has been really good.
02:09Everybody has been together, gelling. So with one common goal tomorrow, mentally, I think that
02:14triumphant league is ready to overtake that task.
02:18Well, this is the team spirit that the captain and coach were speaking about. The team is currently
02:23engaging in a training session at the Haisley Crawford Stadium. The session included different
02:28drills related to mobility exercises, free-flowing passing and other team bonding activities. El Salvador
02:35trained earlier in the day, as both teams get set to square off in a match for the ages.
