00:00Four-time champions Trinbago Knight Riders now have one win and a loss
00:04following Thursday night's defeat at the hands of the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
00:07TKR lost by six runs with skipper Karen Pollard hoping for an improvement in a
00:12particular area.
00:13Obviously I thought it was a good game of cricket overall.
00:16They scored 175, we losing by seven runs.
00:18So I think it was a good game overall.
00:20But I just feel that from a fielding perspective,
00:22I thought we let ourselves down a bit.
00:24TKR next play St. Lucia Kings on Tuesday in Grosselet.
00:27And what's the mindset moving forward in the tournament?
00:29It's early in the tournament, there's two games.
00:31Obviously we know when we get to Trinidad,
00:33it's going to have games thick and fast.
00:35That's the nature of the competition.
00:37So for us, it's just about understanding what is needed for us to do as a team
00:41and continue to focus and get better as individuals.
00:43And you know, no matter the breaks, the constant cricket,
00:46we'll be up for it when that time comes.
00:48After four straight losses, the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons finally earned their first win.
00:53As a result, Captain Chris Green is proud of his troops.
00:57Look, all I can say is I'm immensely proud.
01:00We've had a tough run here at home.
01:02You know, I think everyone's spoken about those two last four losses,
01:05the first two games.
01:07We knew we were in our best game three and four.
01:09And to bounce back like that against a team like this is just immensely proud.
01:14And the way we finished as well, being forced to bring four in, three in,
01:18and then a man off in the last over when, you know,
01:21honestly, I thought they got the timings wrong.
01:23But yeah, honestly, immensely proud of all my guys.
01:26But particularly the guys who stood up involved to death tonight.
01:29The Falcons next play the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in Bastia on Sunday from 10 a.m.
