00:00No one can deny the success that Medallion Racing has had in its short existence.
00:06With two Royal Ascot winners and an amazing 25% of their starts coming in Grade 1 races, the partnership is flying.
00:14Now they're not only flying on the racetrack, they're also flying their partners to international destinations
00:20to take part in cultural experiences in places that also offer horse racing.
00:26One of our main goals with Medallion is bring people to these unbelievable experiences all over the world,
00:33whether it's Grade 1 races in Europe, Grade 1 races in America,
00:37or these really unique events that our partners really wouldn't be able to do on their own.
00:42So bringing them to Deauville for the Arcana sale and really planning kind of a plethora of activities around that as a base
00:51is really something we strive to do every year. So we've done Royal Ascot, we've done Ireland,
00:55we have kind of our sights on a couple other international destinations for future years,
00:58but it's really a core part of what we feel like it is to serve our customers.
01:03I mean, it's create these unbelievable experiences around our runners and then just around being together as partners.
01:09Thursday, first day in, we went to Normandy and did all the D-Day beaches,
01:14which was an incredibly just somber 12 hours or whatever we spent.
01:19It was just absolutely unbelievable seeing the American cemetery and a lot of the pillboxes and the different objectives.
01:25Friday, we had a group that went to Mont Saint-Michel, which I'm looking at the pictures they've sent has been unbelievable.
01:31We had another group come in and inspect yearlings at the sale.
01:35Saturday, we were racing and we had another group that went on a cider tour.
01:39Then we were here for the sale.
01:40The tagline is just it's an exclusive experience at the highest level of thoroughbred racing.
01:45And we feel like this weekend here in Deauville is really a testament to that mission statement.
01:52How can we take our partners and provide them experiences again that they can never do on their own at the top destinations in the world of thoroughbred racing?
02:01So the experiences actually I've really we've come to realize has been transformative.
02:08It has been really a key element to our experience.
02:11So the traveling element, the exposure to the trainers, to the jockeys, to the people within the industry candidly has become instrumental for us.
02:24Certainly we're interested in the horse racing side of it, but to have this wraparound experience beyond that really is the distinguishing characteristic for us for Medallion.
02:36The biggest thing I got really good advice early on in my career and it said, you know, this is an entertainment business.
02:41The majority of people that are our partners and the vast majority of people in the business, it's their it's discretionary income.
02:47And the second they stop being entertained, they can decide they want to go by a boat.
02:53They want to do something else.
02:54So we have to engage our partners as best we can.
02:57We'll be joining the team out at the Breeders' Cup in Del Mar.
03:02And I would say, too, so for us, a key part of our motivation is involving our family in these experiences.
03:09So we took our nephew joined us in Ireland and my aunt and a cousin of mine will be joining us at the Breeders' Cup.
03:16The statement of with us, your family has very much been manifested and they have been so welcoming to when we've brought along our family members.
03:25They live out their mantra of with us, your family.
03:30It is lived out so actively in their work.
