00:00Someone thinks that pandas are not real.
00:05The chick from the thing earlier.
00:06That felt like you just got that like...
00:08No, I did, I was doing that.
00:09Like brought to you by spirit from above.
00:11Hi, I'm Zoe Kravitz.
00:12And I'm Austin Button.
00:14And this is Auslika.
00:16Round one, icebreakers.
00:19First impression of me.
00:21Funnier than I anticipated.
00:23Okay.
00:24Yes.
00:24I like that.
00:25What's the last thing you listened to?
00:26I'm listening to this podcast called Dissect.
00:30And they dissect in rainbows by Radiohead.
00:32It's fantastic.
00:34Is it specifically a music podcast?
00:36Yeah.
00:37He takes an entire season and dissects an album.
00:39It's blowing my mind.
00:40Into it.
00:41It's amazing.
00:42Okay.
00:43What's your iPhone background?
00:44My mom and my grandma.
00:46That's so sweet.
00:47Very wholesome.
00:48That's really cute.
00:49An old picture?
00:50Yeah.
00:51Round two.
00:52Getting personal.
00:53What's your bad habit?
00:55My bad habit?
00:57Probably not texting people back.
01:00Yes.
01:01What is your secret talent?
01:03What is my secret talent?
01:05Well, I guess it would be a secret if you do it.
01:07Yeah, yeah.
01:08I'm trying to think of things that I know about you that nobody else know.
01:10What's my secret talent?
01:11My secret talent is I can pick up things with my feet.
01:15That's a real good talent.
01:17Yeah.
01:18That's useful.
01:19Yes, it is.
01:20What if your hands are full?
01:21Like earlier today, I was in glam.
01:22I had my hands and there's something on the floor and I picked up the feet and I handed
01:25it to myself.
01:26She had things in her hands and she picked up my coffee and she put it in my hands.
01:29I could.
01:30You could.
01:31I could.
01:32Unsanitary, but really helpful.
01:33My feet are clean.
01:34Who's someone you look up to?
01:35You know, I spent some time with Matthew McConaughey the other day.
01:38All right, all right, all right.
01:39And I really, that's good.
01:41That was really good.
01:42Thank you so much.
01:43That's my secret talent.
01:44You're doing Matthew McConaughey.
01:46Killer Matthew McConaughey impression.
01:48High school girls.
01:49They stay.
01:50What is it?
01:51They stay.
01:52You got it.
01:53I get older, they stay the same age.
01:54Yeah.
01:55All right.
01:56I blacked out for a second.
01:57I thought he was actually old.
01:58I know.
01:59That's amazing.
02:00Yeah.
02:01Again, I'm so sorry, Matthew.
02:02Anyway, you look up to him.
02:03What a legend.
02:04I look up to him.
02:05Yeah, yeah, yeah, I do.
02:06Do you have an audition horror story?
02:08I once did an audition.
02:11And during the audition, the director, I heard like the shuffling of papers and things.
02:17I don't know whether he was looking at like other actors, like headshots or like a menu,
02:22but he was, it was an emotional scene and it was, he was not paying attention.
02:27Did you get it?
02:28And I got the part and I had a great time making it.
02:30It was Batman.
02:31Um, no, it was this film.
02:33It was Darren.
02:34Darren the whole time just texting.
02:37Yeah.
02:38What would you do if you weren't an actor?
02:40Hmm.
02:41I always wanted to be one of those people at a motel when you check in that they, they
02:44tell you where you park and they like draw on the little map, like the hotel map.
02:49And they tell you.
02:50What job is that?
02:51I don't know.
02:52It's like the person in the front desk at a motel.
02:54But you only, because I think they, the job description is more than just showing people
02:58where they park.
02:59They also give you your keys.
03:01That's a valet.
03:03What's your desert island meal?
03:05Something Japanese, like a teriyaki salmon with rice and, and, and like a green thing.
03:14It's boring, but it's like something I could eat every day.
03:16Or breakfast burritos.
03:17I love a breakfast burrito.
03:18I love a breakfast burrito.
03:19I could eat one of those every day.
03:20I, yeah.
03:21Is it, was it me?
03:22That's you.
03:23Okay.
03:24What's something you initially hated, but learned to love?
03:27About you?
03:28Or no.
03:29Yes.
03:30I'm kidding.
03:31Yes.
03:32Specifically about me.
03:33No, no, no.
03:34What's something that I hated and I learned to love?
03:35No, I never heard anything about you.
03:36I think getting up early in the morning.
03:38That's what just came to me right now.
03:40Yeah.
03:41Cause yeah, I used to just absolutely despise it.
03:44But I'm starting to get to the point now where I can like anticipate the feeling of how good it will be when you're up quite early.
03:51I'm like, wow, look at this whole new, look at this.
03:53Look at the new day.
03:54Yeah.
03:55I'm like, look at these people, they're jogging and the light's different.
03:58The light is different through the trees and the sound of the birds.
04:00Yeah.
04:01I'm just like, wow.
04:02The feeling of like.
04:03This is morning.
04:04This is morning.
04:05Yeah.
04:06Like I would've been asleep for another three hours.
04:07Yeah.
04:08Yeah.
04:09That's nice.
04:10Yeah.
04:11That's a good one.
04:13What's something you heard recently that surprised you?
04:14I'm trying to think of a time I went, oh, really?
04:16Yeah.
04:17Yeah.
04:18Yeah.
04:19The pandas are, are not real.
04:23The chick from the thing earlier.
04:24That felt like you just got that like.
04:25No, I did.
04:26I was doing.
04:27Brought to you by a spirit from above.
04:28Somebody thinks the pandas are not real.
04:30Someone in the room.
04:31I was doing an interview earlier.
04:32They were asking me about conspiracy theories.
04:34And this one girl was like, pandas aren't real.
04:37There's something off about them.
04:38And I don't think they're real.
04:39And I was like, what?
04:40Animatronic?
04:41All pandas, not like pandas, not a thing.
04:43Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:44Like it's a concept.
04:45Also two different people recently told me they hadn't seen the matrix.
04:49And I was like, what?
04:50That's surprising.
04:51So, and also I feel like connected somehow.
04:53Round three.
04:54All right.
04:55Film questions.
04:56Ooh.
04:57Hardest scene to film and caught stealing.
04:59There were physical things.
05:00Yeah.
05:01A lot of running.
05:02You know, a lot of, a lot of getting beaten up.
05:04Hanging out of a six story window all day.
05:06Yes.
05:07All day.
05:08I could hardly move my arm after that.
05:09It was difficult physically, but then there was a scene like when we're in Coney Island
05:13and I get some, I don't want to spoil things, but I get some bad news.
05:17It's towards a certain point in the movie where a lot of bad things have been happening.
05:22And I'm on the beach and I get that phone call.
05:25Yeah.
05:26We were running out of light.
05:27And so we only got to shoot one take of each set up.
05:30And it's a, it's a very emotional scene.
05:33So we just kind of jumped into it and thankfully I think we got it, but we just, we shot one
05:38from the front, one from the side, one from the back and we did.
05:41There's something fun about that.
05:42It's kind of awesome.
05:43Yeah.
05:44Exhilarating.
05:45What is a lesson you learned on the set of caught stealing?
05:48I don't know.
05:49I mean, I, I definitely learned things.
05:52Is there anything you learned about me?
05:54I learned that you love peanut butter and hilly sandwiches.
05:57I do.
05:58And we share a lot of those.
06:00Yeah.
06:01Okay.
06:02The last four style slash guessing game.
06:05I don't understand the category.
06:08Yeah.
06:09It's a very brand.
06:10Style slash guessing game.
06:13We're going to find out.
06:14Have you ever kept a piece of clothing from one of your projects?
06:17People love this question.
06:18Yeah.
06:19Yeah.
06:20Yeah.
06:21June.
06:22I kept the knives from bike riders.
06:23I kept the leather jacket and a bunch of rings from this.
06:26I can't actually remember besides the lighter.
06:28I kept the lighter that you have.
06:30Good shirts.
06:31Yeah.
06:32Yeah.
06:33I think I may have some shirts.
06:34How involved were you in your character's wardrobe for caught stealing?
06:38I was pretty involved.
06:39I feel like you were very involved.
06:40I'm a pretty opinionated person.
06:41You got a lot of opinions.
06:42Okay.
06:43All right.
06:44They're good opinions.
06:46I was like creating a character.
06:47Yeah.
06:48Like you work together with the costume designer and director.
06:49Yeah.
06:50Did you have different EMT outfits that you maybe liked less and then you chose this one?
06:55Or?
06:56No, actually.
06:57It was pretty like, I think we, no.
06:58But I did, I wanted like all these bracelets that she wears.
07:01I like how you did that.
07:03But you had to cover up your tattoos.
07:04Yes.
07:05And then the bracelets would rub.
07:06Would take off the makeup.
07:07And take off the makeup.
07:08Yeah.
07:09Horrible mistake.
07:10But it was worth it.
07:11I think so.
07:12What is this from?
07:13Ah.
07:14Oh, interesting.
07:15That is a Beastie Boys shirt that I wear in High Fidelity.
07:19God, you know yourself.
07:20That's great.
07:21I know myself.
07:22Well, also that's my shirt.
07:23That's awesome.
07:24This is your personal shirt?
07:25That's my personal shirt.
07:26Did you bring that from home?
07:27Yeah.
07:28Did you buy it for the show?
07:29No.
07:30I already had it.
07:31Okay.
07:32What's this from?
07:33What is this from?
07:34Oh, that's my shirt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
07:35Wow.
07:36Okay.
07:37Yeah.
07:38Good job.
07:39Spawn Ranch.
07:40Lightning round.
07:41Well, who's going first?
07:42New York or LA?
07:43New York.
07:44Horror or comedy?
07:45Yes.
07:46Blur or Oasis?
07:47Oasis.

07:50Favorite movie shot in New York City?
07:52Uh, Taxi Driver.
07:54Favorite borough in New York?
07:55Brooklyn.
07:56London punk versus New York punk?
07:58London punk.
07:59Punk or hip hop?
08:01Um, I don't know.
08:03I think they're both punk.
08:05Copy death.
08:06You know?
08:07Overdressed or underdressed?
08:08Overdressed.
08:09Really?
08:10Respect.
08:11Now or later?
08:12Now.
08:13Now.
08:14Definitely now.

08:17Well played.

08:27I really appreciate the flowers.
08:31Gorgeous flowers.
