00:00Well, I think it's a great little town, ever so friendly, ever so easily to come to because I came only two years ago and I've made so many friends immediately and felt so much a part of it immediately.
00:13Travel in and out of Pudsey is generally pretty good, I would say. Good notes to mention are the fact that it's a really good hub between Leeds and Bradford. You've got the number 16, you've got the number 72.
00:26There obviously is an issue with reliability, if buses get cancelled, etc. But to be fair, we're looking to have a bus station as well. It'd be nice to have a railway station right in the heart of Pudsey rather than just in Stanley, but that's by the by. It's still good to have reliable transport networks.
00:45Pudsey, it's a nice place to live. A lot of friendly people knocking around and very easily communication from the bus station. There's plenty of buses about. You can't really say no wrong about the place really, you know.
01:01My home is back in Zimbabwe. But I came straight to Pudsey and I'm still here. So, but it's good. So far, so good. Everything is there. There's nothing to worry about. You want transport is there, train is there. No problem.
01:19Yeah, I commute into near, to the other side of Leeds quite often. And I'd say it's fairly convenient. You've got the train station not far away. The bus station's just there.
01:28I generally try to avoid going to Leeds that often though, just because it's really, really busy. But in terms of getting there and getting back, it's really, really convenient. Yeah, I definitely love living in Pudsey.
01:38What are my feelings about going into Leeds? Well, I find it fantastic because I lived somewhere before here where I really could not easily get in and out of towns and things.
01:50So, to me, the bus is just running on a regular basis into town, into Leeds and regular basis coming back. And they run till late at night. To me, it's just fantastic.
02:04The only sort of downsides I would have with, I'd say the LS28 area as a whole is the fact that it tends to be just like a one, a to and fro system whereby you could either go to Leeds public transport wise or you could go to Bradford.
02:22But if you wanted to get over towards a place called Horsforth, Carverley and places like that, then that's where the transport side, public transport side tends to fizzle out a little bit.
02:37I think it's important to keep the price of buses within reach for many people as well.
02:45And it's not just older people. I think for students as well to make sure that they can keep going green.
02:51No direct bus to the train station, you know what I mean?
02:55So, that's a bit of a, you know, it's a bit hard to wait to be honest about it.
