00:05of her long broadcasting career and charity work supporting breast cancer causes. The 86-year-old
00:11received the honour at Guildhall saying she was delighted and humbled and describing it
00:16as a special moment in a city where much of her career has been based. Honeyford became one of
00:22the first female broadcasters to host her own radio and television programmes and has appeared
00:27across major UK shows over several decades now. She was also recognised for the Karen Keating
00:35Foundation set up in memory of her daughter. City officials praised her as a national figure whose
00:40work has inspired many.
