00:34A very warm welcome to you all this evening. I feel as if I'm in the spotlight here.
00:40Anyway, as long as the light of the Lord is shining upon each one of us tonight
00:45and to illuminate His Word and His dear self to us in some way.
00:51Well, I'd like to open up the Scriptures now and read a passage which I trust is familiar to all of us tonight.
00:58It's the book of the Revelation and it's chapter 13, just from verse 11 there.
01:06The previous part is talking about the beast out of the sea and now we have the beast out of the earth.
01:13And here John is given the privilege and indeed the responsibility to write down what he's seeing.
01:22Verse 11.
01:24And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth.
01:29And he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon.
01:35And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him because the earth and them that dwell therein
01:45to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed.
01:50And he doeth great wonders so he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men
01:59and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he hath the power to do in the sight of the beast
02:09saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast
02:16which had the wound by a sword and did live.
02:21And he had the power to give life unto the image of the beast
02:26that the image of the beast should both speak
02:30and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
02:36And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond

03:54and the answer is

03:59is a settlement
04:01with a geographical location
04:05just east of Bethel
04:07north of Jerusalem
04:10although nowadays of course
04:12it's a ruin
04:13it's a subject
04:14of archaeology
04:17but
04:19and we'll look perhaps a little bit of that at the moment
04:23but just carrying on with the answer
04:24and of course you know that
04:27is AI in the Bible
04:31if you read
04:32AI
04:34in capital letters
04:36instead of
04:38as initials
04:40AI the place of course
04:42is capital A
04:44small i
04:45isn't it
04:45but i'm talking now about AI
04:48artificial intelligence
04:51then of course
04:53that is something
04:54a topic which is
04:55ever
04:56emerging
04:57ever burgeoning
04:59and
05:01as such
05:03the combination
05:04of the words
05:06artificial intelligence
05:07is actually not
05:09found
05:10in scripture
05:11although
05:12intelligence
05:13is
05:14and the theme
05:17of artificial intelligence

05:19certainly
05:19is in the Bible
05:21in some way
05:21in fact

05:22we were just reading
05:23something about it
05:24earlier on
05:25but anyway
05:25let's start with the place
05:27then shall we
05:27and consider the place

05:33the Hebrews
05:34had crossed the Jordan
05:35into the promised land

05:38conquering to do
05:39the first of course
05:41was the battle
05:42of Jericho
05:43and you may remember
05:45how well that's gone

05:48instruction

05:52Joshua
05:52was about to
05:53embark
05:54on a further
05:56conquest
05:56and this time
05:57that conquest
05:58would be
