00:39tonight Kirk to regal franchises that have fallen upon hard times everybody
00:43knows the Patriots have won six Super Bowls in this century but they haven't
00:47won a postseason game in six years they are 8 and 26 over the last two years so
00:52obviously they made a ton of changes in the offseason make a case for them being
00:56significantly better this year I think you just got to say Mike Grape you know
01:00he played for this organization obviously won championships he's a seasoned head
01:05coach in his time in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans and I think he's
01:09bringing the old school values fundamentals effort tenacity and I think
01:14that gives you a chance and while this team is kind of growing they need to buy
01:18into just playing hard and playing with those fundamentals the very least it's
01:22going to be a very exciting team this year with that youth meanwhile the Giants
01:25it's hard to believe over the last eight seasons compositely they have the worst
01:28record in the National Football League last year rock bottom three wins 14
01:33losses and of course like the Patriots they made a ton of changes so make a
01:37case for them having a significantly better year well I think that the thing
01:42that stands out to me is they're clearly rebuilding offensively the youth
01:45movement there and they're trying to find an identity while they're doing that
01:49they can hang their hat on this defense not only do go out get Abdul Carter through
01:54free agency this defense has a chance to be outstanding especially maybe one of the
01:58best defensive lines in the NFL so they're gonna have to carry the day while the
02:02offense kind of finds their way and carry the day for us but we're gonna see her a
02:06lot tonight Kaley Hartung on the field candy what are you gonna start with I'm here for
02:11you guys so since the day that Jackson dark became a New York giant he has been told
02:16that Russell Wilson would be the starting quarterback but after two
02:19successful preseason appearances Giants fans are clamoring for more dark well
02:25here you go tonight he will get to start an NFL game for the first time Brian
02:30Dable has strategically put him in for two minute drives no huddle drives and now
02:34giving him the start table set is the last touchpoint in his plan to develop the rookie as best he can
02:41in his first preseason guys yeah this fan base is already over the moon about Jackson
02:47Dart meanwhile as you look at Mike Rabel and as Bert mentioned six years in Tennessee last year
02:54he was with the Cleveland organization kind of been a consultant and Brian Dable begins his fourth year at
03:00the helm of the New York Giants got into the playoffs in that first year but the last two years have not been good
03:06Andy Borreganis a rookie to kick off and if this is a touchback you're going to see one of the new rules right now
03:13he's just going to come out to the 35 yard line instead of the 30 yard line league trying to
03:19get more kickoffs into the game that get returned instead of touchdown in the end zone
03:24so here is start started his college career at USC looks like he might be the next in the line of great Trojan quarterbacks
03:33but then Lincoln Riley got the job came from Oklahoma brought Caleb Williams with him so dart went into the transfer portal went to Mississippi and
03:42lightened it up in Oxford and based on what we've seen in these couple of preseason games he has looked in command
03:49he's been decisive the ball has been out quickly and he's making great decisions to see how he plays tonight
