01:48Hey!
01:49Behind the scenes with Inside Edition's new host,
01:52Eva Pilgrim.
01:53Her first day on the job.
01:57Nobody's ever cheered for me when I walked in a room like that.
02:00Now, Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.
02:04Hello and thanks for joining us.
02:05I'm Eva Pilgrim and I'm thrilled to be the new host of Inside Edition.
02:10We'll have more on my journey to become the host a little later in the broadcast.
02:13But we begin with the horror movie of the summer, Weapons.
02:17That was number one once again at the box office this weekend.
02:20It's about an entire classroom of children who suddenly disappear.
02:24Now, rumors are spreading online that it's really happening.
02:28But it isn't.
02:29As Allison Hall reports, today police are stepping in to calm everyone down.
02:34It's the number one movie at the box office, Weapons, the surprise summer horror hit.
02:40The film, starring Josh Brolin, tells the story of 17 children who mysteriously vanish in the middle of the night.
02:48And now it's triggering phony reports of child kidnappings.
02:52Social media is filled with claims that 50 children have disappeared in Virginia in a mass kidnapping event.
02:59A storyline eerily similar to the movie, which hit theaters on August 8th.
03:04I don't understand at all.
03:06Why just her classroom?
03:07Why only her?
03:09Adding to the hysteria, sightings of a mysterious ice cream truck seen driving around Virginia at night during the time of the supposed mass kidnappings.
03:18As online chatter ramped up, fans of the movie pointed out the similarities between the creepy weapons flick and the kidnapping rumors.
03:2850 kids have gone missing in Virginia within the same time frame as the movie Weapons.
03:35Now police are responding, issuing this statement, saying,
03:38Virginia State Police is not investigating any reports of mass abductions in Virginia, nor is there evidence of mass abductions occurring in Virginia.
03:47As for that ominous ice cream truck, the police say there's nothing to it.
03:53The Virginia State Police is currently not investigating any suspicious ice cream trucks,
03:57and there is no confirmed connection between ice cream trucks and missing children.
04:02These speculations were started via inaccurate social media videos.
04:07Clearly, weapons hysteria has gone too far.
04:10Well, now a child disappearance that's very real.
04:13This mom, pleading for help, claims she was knocked to the ground in a store parking lot,
04:18and her seven-month-old baby boy was kidnapped.
04:21But today, there are serious questions.
04:24As Jim Murray reports, police now say there are inconsistencies with the mom's statements.
04:30I'm begging you, please, if anything, if you know anything, please.
04:34A distraught mom pleads for the return of her baby, who she says was kidnapped as she changed his diaper.
04:40He has little wavy hair and light brown hair, so soft, like a feather with beautiful brown eyes.
04:48But today, there's a chilling twist in the search for seven-month-old Emanuel Harrow.
04:53Emanuel's mother, Rebecca, claims she was changing the baby's diaper here in the parking lot of this sporting goods store.
04:58There are no visible security cameras we can find to confirm her story,
05:02but she claims the baby was on the back seat and she was standing at the door
05:06when she heard the voice of a stranger and was hit from behind.
05:10I had his diapers right here, and then someone said, hola.
05:15And I couldn't even turn, and I was just, I don't remember nothing.
05:19She says she was knocked unconscious.
05:21I got up off the floor and I didn't see my child.
05:25Someone took him from me.
05:26You can see Rebecca has a black eye.
05:29There have been prayer vigils to comfort her, but is there more to this than meets the eye?
05:33Rebecca has stopped cooperating with detectives.
05:36Rebecca was confronted with inconsistencies in her initial statement and declined to continue the interview,
05:41the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department said.
05:44And it emerged that Emanuel's father, Jake Harrow, was jailed for six months for felony child cruelty in 2023.
05:51We just want a baby boy.
05:52Police searched the Harrow's home, reportedly with cadaver dogs.
05:57And a missing children's organization has withdrawn a $5,000 reward,
06:02saying something is not right in this whole picture.
06:05Can you bring us back our son?
06:07We'll be closely following the police investigation.
06:10Now, the scare in Chicago at a Cubs game that had players ducking for cover,
06:16it was a surprise flyover by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds right during the seventh inning stretch.
06:22And it wasn't just at the stadium.
06:24The Jets allegedly caused a sonic boom that shattered windows and frazzled nerves all over the Windy City.
06:31Shake me out to the ball game.
06:35Check out the startled reaction of the Chicago Cubs during a flyover by the legendary Air Force Thunderbirds.
06:43This is very scary.
06:44Across the field, this was the Pittsburgh Pirates' dugout.
06:47And here are the Thunderbirds getting ready for an air show.
06:52Fans at Wrigley Field got quite a shock.
06:58It came just as actor Hayden Christensen from Star Wars and his daughter were singing
07:03Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the seventh inning stretch.
07:06Shake me out to the ball game.
07:12Social media captured what sure sound like sonic booms.
07:21Three high-rise buildings were left with shattered windows.
07:25There was this incredible boom.
07:28Susan Schatz was in front of her building when it happened.
07:31I decided it was so loud, I should crouch down in case anything happens.
07:39Wow.
07:39You were scared?
07:40I was scared.
07:42I had my hands over my head because I thought something was going to fall on me.
07:47The Air Force says in a statement the Thunderbird Jets did not go supersonic at any point that day,
07:53calling the flight a standard practice demonstration.
07:55Some residents said the blast was so strong, it felt like their apartment building was actually shaking.
08:06Three days after his summit with Russian leader Putin in Alaska today,
08:10President Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.
08:14And as high stakes as this meeting is, many were wondering what Zelensky would wear
08:20after he was called out for not wearing a suit during his last visit to Washington.
08:25President Zelensky back at the White House, and this time he's wearing a suit.
08:30President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit.
08:32I said the same thing.
08:34Yeah, you look good.
08:35I said the same thing.
08:36On his last infamous visit, he was called out for wearing his signature army fatigues.
08:41Why don't you wear a suit?
08:42You're the highest level in this country's office, and you refuse to wear a suit.
08:47Just want to see if you own a suit.
08:48Today, that same reporter, who happens to be Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend, apologized.
08:55I said the one that attacked you last time, see?
08:57I remember that.
08:59I apologize to you.
09:00You look wonderful.
09:01Then Zelensky delivered this zinger.
09:03In the same suit.
09:07You see, I changed you.
09:09According to one report, Zelensky was asked by the White House to wear a suit.
09:14The request was communicated via the department in charge of White House protocol.
09:18Zelensky expressed his gratitude not only to Trump, but also to the first lady and passed
09:24on a letter from his wife to Melania.
09:26My wife, she, the first lady of Ukraine, she gave the letter.
09:32It's not to you, to your wife.
09:33Oh, I won't.
09:34I won't.
09:35Yes.
09:37Well, this lifeguard is used to saving lives on the beach, but on this day, she's the one
09:43who needed help.
09:44In a freak accident, she ended up getting impaled by an umbrella that went right through her
09:49shoulder.
09:49Now, she's speaking out in an exclusive interview with our Ann Ricagliano.
09:54We've seen all the warnings, gusts of wind sending beach umbrellas flying, turning them
10:00into potentially dangerous projectiles.
10:03It's their sharp stakes that can lead to the most serious damage.
10:06New Jersey lifeguard Alex Kaus is the most recent victim this summer of a wayward beach umbrella.
10:13The teen from Robbinsville, New Jersey, was impaled by a beach umbrella two months ago in
10:19a freak accident.
10:20It went in here and came out right around here.
10:23The other lifeguards called 911.
10:26They had a lifeguard that was impaled by an umbrella.
10:29Oh, okay.
10:30Is the pole still in them?
10:32Yes.
10:32The paramedics first saw off the umbrella.
10:35The umbrella's going to be in the left arm's head.
10:37They need that band saw for sure down here.
10:39Now, she's speaking exclusively to Inside Edition about her harrowing ordeal and her remarkable
10:45comeback from disaster.
10:47This came within less than an inch of taking your life.
10:50If her hat hit my artery, there was a very good chance I could have fled out.
10:54This is Alex's second summer as a lifeguard, a dream job for a college student who loves the
10:59water.
11:00Alex was sitting here on this lifeguard stand when a strong gust of wind sent her in the
11:04umbrella tumbling down.
11:06Somehow, she landed on the sharp end of the umbrella stake.
11:11The pole went through her armpit and came out her back.
11:14I landed on my feet with the umbrella poking through my back.
11:19And I said, I think I've been impaled.
11:21And you were calm through all of this?
11:24For the most part, yeah.
11:25I was conscious the whole time.
11:27Trauma surgeon Dr. Constantine Bola-Wheaton cut into her muscle to remove the pole.
11:34This is what was in you?
11:35This is what was sticking out at the other end.
11:37This is what they cut off.
11:38That's what they cut off?
11:39Wow.
11:40Yeah.
11:40It's full metal.
11:42That's unbelievable.
11:44Inside Edition was there when Alex got a checkup from her doctor.
11:47Hey, wow, you look so different without sand and the pole sticking out of you.
11:52After checking Alex's wound, the doctor tests her strength.
11:56Push me towards you.
11:57Excellent.
11:58You're ready to save some lives for sure.
12:00It is a very unusual type of injury and incredibly lucky that it missed all of those vital structures
12:06allowing her to have a full, successful recovery.
12:10Alex is now back in the lifeguard chair on the lookout for swimmers in need.
12:15And notice no umbrella.
12:17I'm back at work, but it was almost not the case.
12:20It's crazy to me.
12:22She is just so lucky.
12:24And so is this Amazon driver who had a serious run-in with Mother Nature.
12:29A lightning blast hits right as she's delivering a package in Meriden.
12:35Look, she doesn't even drop the box.
12:37She runs to her truck, but then turns around and then returns to make the delivery just as scheduled.
12:45That's some serious dedication.
12:47And you may want to cover your ears for this one because it's time for the mom calling contest
12:51at the Iowa State Fair.
12:53We spoke with the winner who's got quite the set of looks.
12:57Mom!

15:12Despite being on an antidepressant, I was still masking my depression symptoms.
15:18My doctor said it could be because my antidepressant alone wasn't enough.
15:21So she recommended an add-on treatment.
15:25She recommended adding Rexalti.
15:27When taken with an antidepressant, Rexalti was proven to significantly reduce depression
15:31symptoms, more than an antidepressant alone.
15:33So with my antidepressant, Rexalti could provide a boost.
15:37Elderly people with dementia-related psychosis have increased risk of death or stroke.
15:41Antidepressants may increase suicidal thoughts and actions and worsen depression in children

18:05Influencers Nina Unrated and Patrick Blackwood eat amazing meals all around town.
18:11You guys have a job that nobody would consider dangerous, I think.
18:14We were just enjoying our food.
18:17But they never expected this.
18:19That could have been my last meal.
18:21Patrick and Nina were rushed to the hospital with cuts all over.
18:26That car came straight at us.
18:27It's a miracle that we are not hurt in a way where we're missing limbs.
18:32So this is where it came in at right here.
18:34It happened at Cuvee's Culinary Creations in Houston.
18:38It happened so fast.
18:40You don't even have time to really think.
18:43Just so scary.
18:44The restaurant owner tells us the accident happened when a woman in the parking lot
18:47accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.
18:51We'll be back with more Inside Edition after this.

26:26Finally, it's my first day hosting Inside Edition, and I'm really looking forward to what's ahead.
26:33Eva comes to Inside Edition from ABC Network News, where she covered the top stories of our time.
26:38We are at a critical moment. Putin firing back on this oil ban.
26:42She also co-anchored Good Morning America Weekend.
26:45Turning to the state of the economy.
26:46More recently, you saw her on GMA3.
26:49It's great to have you with us.
26:50Now following the departure of Deborah Norville, Eva is the new anchor of Inside Edition.
26:55The fact that this is something I get to do, I'm like pinching myself.
26:58This was one of the first news programs that I watched. And then in my first job,
27:02I used to watch it because it was on the station that I worked at.
27:05And so it's a weird full circle moment to like, this is real.
27:10Eva is an army brat. She was born in Seoul,
27:13South Korea, where her dad served in the U.S. Army.
27:16She's the eldest of three children and moved to South Carolina in the fifth grade.
27:20Eva is married to Ed Hartigan, and they're the proud parents of three-year-old Ella.
27:25In recent weeks, they've been nursing their French bulldog, Albert,
27:28who had spinal surgery and needs a doggy wheelchair to get around.
27:32She is an amazing mother. So, you know, Ella takes the priority.
27:36She's busy constructing things around our house.
27:39Each day, there's a new project going on.
27:41She's really kind. She's really passionate about work.
27:43And I think she'll bring out the best in other people around her as well.
27:46So I think you're lucky to have her.
27:48Hi.
27:49As anchor of the number one syndicated news magazine show on television,
27:53you've got to look your best. First stop,
27:56going over the wardrobe with stylist LaToya Booth.
27:59Oh, my God. So many things.
28:01So many choices.
28:02Gotta go try them on.
28:04Voila.
28:05This is great.
28:06The joy of stretchy fabric.
28:08It's time to go meet everybody.
28:11Her first day on the job got a big welcome from the entire staff
28:14and weekend anchor, Mary Calvi, who's been holding down the fort.
28:18There's something really special and full circle about getting to come
28:21and do this job. Debra sent me this really nice email
28:25and said that the reason she never left was because it was so great.
28:28She was wishing me well and wishing you guys well.
28:31Thank you. And nobody's ever cheated on me when I wanted to do my best.
28:37Truly a pinch me moment. And I'm so delighted to be here
28:39and hope to get to know all of you watching at home better each day.
28:43That's it for our show today. We'll see you next time.
28:51There's a reason Chevy is called the heartbeat of America.
28:54It's in the pulse of those who never stop getting the job done
28:57or the party started. This summer, Chevy drives America.
29:02See your local Chevy dealer.
29:13Roll up a 7-eleven gold pass and get seven free drinks.
29:19It's time for the Coke debate. Who's the greatest cash backer of all time?
29:23I earned 1.5% on finger paint just so you can touch the paint.
29:27I got 3% on barbecue too. That ain't the only thing that's getting smoked.
29:30Would you just cash back like a pro with Chase Freedom Unlimited? How do you cash back?
29:34There's a reason Chevy is called the heartbeat of America.
29:39It's in the pulse of those who never stop getting the job done or the party started.
29:44This summer, Chevy drives America.
29:47See your local Chevy dealer.
29:49Catch Christine Johnson weeknights on CBS News New York.
29:58Tonight, Taylor Swift Super Bowl bound.
30:05The hints that have fans convinced she'll do the halftime show.
30:08I love Easter eggs or little puzzles for them to solve.
30:11Then a new home for the Royals. Why Prince William, Kate and the kids are moving.
30:16This is a new house. This is a new chapter in their lives.
30:20A look inside their new $21 million forever home.
30:23And Kate Gosselin's new reality.
30:25A lot of people are asking.
30:28Opening up about working 12-hour shifts and her estranged son Colin.
30:32How can I say this kindly?
30:33Plus, only E.T.'s at home with Ilaria Baldwin.
30:37What we decided to do was take control of the narrative.
30:41Daughter Carmen's ready for her time in the spotlight.
30:44How does the stricter parent?
30:45So, let me say.
30:47Give me the tea.
30:48And is baby number eight on the way?
30:50One thing could lead to another.
30:52Plus.
30:52Hey, we're the cast of Cod Stealing.
30:54And we're spilling the E.T.
30:58We did it.
30:58Come on.
30:59We're amazing.
31:02Could Super Bowl halftime finally welcome the ultimate showgirl, Taylor Swift?
31:08Hello everybody and welcome to Entertainment Tonight.
31:10Nichelle Turner and Kevin Frazier are on.
31:12Listen, the Easter eggs are egging, especially for the Swifties who think Taylor's endgame is Super Bowl 60 in the Bay.
31:19You, you have come from all over the world, possibly to see football, but would it be alright with you if we played some music first?
31:26I love Easter eggs or little puzzles for them to solve.
31:30But if I told you I'm a mastermind.
31:33I know every halftime show from the Super Bowls, but I didn't watch the sports.
31:37Everything was a means to an end to get me to get to do music.
31:40Taylor dropped three big game mentions on the New Heights podcast.
31:44Plus, if you look closely at the background, that's the Lombardi trophy laying on its side, maybe signaling hope for another Chiefs victory.
31:51But here's why the map is mapping for Taylor headlining Super Bowl 60.
31:55I'm really talking about bread 60% of the time.
32:00The sourdough has taken over my life in a huge way.
32:02I'm like wrapping sourdough loaves.
32:04I'm on like sourdough blogs.
32:06Sourdough Sam is the 49ers mascot and Levi's Stadium near San Francisco is where the big game is going down.
32:13Something that you don't know I'm saying for a specific reason that you'll hear later and you'll go back and be like, oh my god.
32:20And also just I love numerology. I love math stuff.
32:23Another number that comes up, 47.
32:25Thank you for screaming for like 47 seconds. That was so nice.
32:3047,000 countries, Jason.
32:33Levi's Stadium was the 47th stop on the Arras tour.
32:37I love dates.
32:38Back in 2022, Taylor reportedly turned down halftime until she finished re-recording all her first six albums.
32:45Well, now you got your music.
32:47This morning, another countdown clock sent Swifties into overdrive hoping for a big announcement.
32:53The reveal, however, was new vinyl options for the life of a showgirl.
32:57Something Taylor might not want to take on halftime to avoid overshadowing what could be Travis's final shot at another Super Bowl win.
33:04So if it's not Taylor, how about someone who's Swift adjacent?
33:10Vegas has collaborator Post Malone at 12% odds.
33:13Miley Cyrus is the top female contender after Swift.
33:17Miley Cyrus is the top female contender.
33:20Miley Cyrus did perform with San Francisco's homegrown band, Metallica, and...
33:24The Jay-Z song was on.
33:26She name-checked halftime producer Jay-Z, who some think might announce himself as the performer.
33:31Miley even collabed with his superstar wife.
33:34And come on, who wouldn't want another Queen Bee appearance on stage?
33:37I'll be fancy.
33:39But I just like what Beyonce represents.
33:42I still do not forgive Beyonce for bringing out Miley only for the Paris tour stop.
33:48So ladies, let's make Super Bowl happen, okay?
33:49Make it happen.
33:50Please.
33:50We can move on.
33:52Speaking of moving on, let's go from pop royalty to actual royalty with William and Kate's big family move.
33:59Life as you know it can change in an instant.
34:03They will be taking on Forest Lodge, which we are told is going to be their forever home in Windsor.
34:09They need a bigger place.
34:10Why?
34:11Well, quite simply, Adelaide Cottage isn't really big enough for them.
34:14It's only got four bedrooms and it's a big bustling family.
34:17The Windsor's new $21 million mansion is just 15 minutes from their current house, Adelaide Cottage.
34:25The 328-year-old estate has eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, Venetian windows, a tennis court, and fishing lake nearby.
34:33The family don't have a living staff at the moment.
34:36But the beauty of Forest Lodge is that it has several smaller outhouses within its grounds.
34:42So if they chose to have a living nanny, then that would be possible.
34:47It does have the slight problem of being publicly accessible.
34:50That may be why there's a flurry of activity in tree planting.
34:54We do know they need a significant security detail.
34:58One downside of the move?
35:00Two families were reportedly asked to vacate the premises before William, Kate, and the kids
35:05move in later this year once renovations are complete.
35:08This is a three-story house.
35:10It hasn't really been touched, we understand, since 2001.
35:13So clearly there is some work to be done.
35:15William and Kate will be paying for these refurbishments.
35:18They don't want to be seen to be a drain on the public purse over this move.
35:22Back in America, Kylie Jenner seemingly shut down breakup rumors with Timothee Chalamet with one click and zero words.
35:30I like the sound of that.
35:31Kylie liked the Marty Supreme movie poster Timothee posted to Instagram.
35:36Yes, iconic.
35:37This comes just days after Timothee skipped Kylie's 28th birthday party and more than five weeks
35:43since the couple was last spotted together in Saint-Tropez.
35:47So why has the Oscar-nominated star been MIA?
35:50I can't go with you.
35:51You know why.
35:52Timothee has been in Budapest shooting Dune Part 3 with Sandia and Florence Pugh.
35:59Our source says, quote, when Kylie and Timothy are not physically together, they're constantly texting.
36:04You also brought your partner in crime, Kylie, here too.
36:07What's it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?
36:09It's a great feeling.
36:11Meanwhile, her sister, Kendall Jenner, was on hand as Justin and Hailey Bieber
36:15continued to navigate their own rumors of relationship troubles.
36:19What do you do?
36:20Over the weekend, Justin posted this photo alongside Hailey's bestie during a night out,
36:25which quickly went viral thanks to trolls saying things like,
36:29this man posted up with everybody but his wife.
36:33Justin's next post, this loved-up shot with his wife of nearly seven years from the same night.
36:39Hailey's cheeky comment, secrets out, we're dating.
36:43Our source says Justin is, quote, still dealing with a lot of anxiety in his life,
36:47but he's doing his best to be present in his marriage and for his son.
36:51Girl forgives me left and right. I'm a damn nightmare.
36:54All right, from Bieber's baby bliss to Kate Gawson's comments about her estranged son,
36:5921-year-old Colin.
37:01My favorite thing about Colin was always that he helped me so much and was my helper boy.
37:08You are my helper boy.
37:10Makes Colin happy to help, doesn't it, buddy?
37:13And that's all I'll say.
37:14If I ever had children, I would not put them in front of a camera.
37:18So is Kate just trying to smooth things over? Just eight days ago, she clapped back at Colin's
37:23TikTok post where he claimed he and his siblings were forced apart and pitted against each other.
37:28Her blunt three-word response, he knows why, with a crying face emoji.
37:32It's always tough to go through personal stuff in a public setting and unfortunately,
37:38we had to go through it. I mean, you know, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, really.
37:45Kate recently shared to her 214,000 TikTok followers that she's broke and had to begin
37:51working 12-hour shifts as a pediatric nurse.
37:53I am an RN. I work in peds home health care.
37:57I, of course, did all of the medical care as well. Feeding, bathing.
38:03Meanwhile, Colin says he hasn't spoken to Kate since she hadn't placed into a mental health
38:07institution when he was 12. Two years later, he was later pulled from the facility by his father,
38:12John, who had full custody of Colin and his sister, Hannah.
38:15My favorite thing about Hannah is how encouraging she is. And I think that she,
38:22uh, how can I say this kindly? Unfortunately, very well, she knows this, pretty much had to raise
38:28herself a lot. And that's very painful to me.
38:31I chose to live with my dad. It was a difficult decision leaving my siblings. I just feel like
38:39there was unfair treatment.
38:41You know, after all these years, the Goslins still making headlines, right?
38:46All right, let's move on to Ilaria Baldwin and her daughter, Carmen, who are standing on business.
38:51Rachel Smith at home with the Baldwin beauties for this ET exclusive.
38:56You know, on your famous reality show, you were such a hit.
39:01What do you call that hairstyle? What's it called?
39:04Well, I call it the butt cheek bun.
39:05But do you feel like people recognize you on the streets more and they're like,
39:09no, good. No, I'm good. I don't think I've ever gotten recognized.
39:12Well, you have time to be famous, honey.
39:14I've been recognized because my dad's an actor and my cousin's Haley Bieber. That's it.
39:19Who's the stricter parent, Carmen? Depends. Okay, so let me say.
39:24Give me the tea. Okay, so my dad sounds so strict. He'll be like, be back by nine,
39:31but he's like not even, he'll even forget. My mom's pretty strict about diet. My dad's not strict
39:36about diet at all. Like he would take my brothers to like ice cream. We get ice cream,
39:41but he'll do it. I take you to ice cream. You'll do it at night for dessert.
39:45Are you ready for all the tea to be spilled? No, you know what? I love the tea being spilled
39:50as long as it's real tea. What are you going to be when you grow up? Do you have any idea?
39:53I know you're 11. I love this question. Yes, give me an answer.
39:57So I would love to do modeling when I'm younger and then...
