01:12Just revealed what dad was doing as his two-year-old daughter died in a hot car. Do you have any

01:31during this game? And how easy is it to rig a card shuffler? Ben, what a pro.
01:38It's the ready game. I definitely see him. The knuckleheads trying to interfere with a young reporter's live

01:59We ought to make the damn companies who have built it tear it back down.
02:02And the jogger who punched out the Halloween display. Then, came back for more.
02:11Now, Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.
02:15Hello and thanks for joining us. It sounds like a movie plot. A family jumps off their burning boat
02:20and ends up stranded on a remote island. But this really happened. Incredibly,
02:26their radio washed ashore and they were able to send out a mayday call to the Coast Guard.
02:32Mayday, mayday, mayday.
02:34A desperate call for help from a family stranded on a billionaire's private island.
02:40Patrick Sullivan, his wife Cynthia, and their son Tyler sailed from Cape Cod and anchored off the coast
02:46of Noshan Island. Here's Allison Hall.
02:49At 1 a.m., they were woken by their dog barking to warn them about the fire aboard their 30-foot boat.
02:56They leapt into the water and swam in total darkness to the little-known island.
03:02From there, they found themselves stranded, exhausted, and suffering from serious burns.
03:08Their dog died after saving the family with that heroic warning.
03:12The cold and exhausted family found shelter in this farmhouse for two days.
03:18Then, Tyler Sullivan found their boat's radio washed up on the beach.
03:23It still worked.
03:24Mayday, mayday, mayday.
03:26Our ship went down the tarpaulin cove.
03:28Our ship burned while we were sleeping, and we barely escaped.
03:33The vessel has sunk, and we are in the farmhouse on the hill.
03:36Right by the lighthouse.
03:38Report of zero three people in tarpaulin cove in Noshan Island in need of assistance.
03:41This is the moment the Coast Guard arrived to rescue them at the farmhouse.
03:47They were medevaced to the hospital.
03:49They were treated for serious burns, smoke inhalation, and exposure.
03:53Cynthia Sullivan's condition is described as critical.
03:5737-year-old Tyler told Inside Edition,
04:00We are all going through a very hard time.
04:03Please pray for my mom.
04:05Mayday, mayday, mayday.
04:07In a statement, the family thanked the Coast Guard and emergency personnel that helped in the search and rescue effort.
04:14It's dramatic police body cam video.
04:17Cops arresting a father who left his daughter in a hot car for hours leading to her death.
04:23He's avoiding a trial by pleading guilty.
04:26Initially, he told cops he was playing video games when this happened.
04:29But as Jim Murray reports, now cops are revealing what he was really watching.
04:34In a stunning move, the dad arrested after leaving his two-year-old daughter in a hot car
04:40has now pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
04:44Mr. Schultes, anything you want to say for yourself?
04:46No, 911, 911, please.
04:48My baby was in the car.
04:49Christopher Schultes frantically called 911
04:51after little Parker was found unresponsive on a scorching hot day outside his home in Arizona.
04:58I can't believe this!
04:59On police body cam, the dad tells cops he left his daughter in the car to nap with the air conditioner running.
05:06I want to say it was no more than 30, 45 minutes.
05:10But cops say the air conditioner was off when the little girl was discovered
05:14and that the father had to know the air would shut off after 30 minutes.
05:18Today, we're learning troubling new details about what really happened that day.
05:22Prosecutors say Schultes left his three-year-old daughter alone in the car for more than three hours.
05:28And while he was inside, they say he watched porn, played video games, and drank beer.
05:33His wife, Erica, who's a doctor, found Parker after arriving home.
05:37At a previous court hearing, Erica begged the judge to set her husband free
05:41so they could go on vacation to Hawaii.
05:44He's an amazing father.
05:45This was a big mistake, and I think that this doesn't represent him.
05:51But text messages sent by Erica appear to show her husband had done this before.
05:56I told you to stop leaving them in the car.
05:58How many times have I told you?
06:00Texted Erica as Parker was being rushed to the hospital.
06:03Police say their two other daughters also told them he had a history of leaving them in the car.
06:09He still drinks too much beer, and he keeps leaving us in the car
06:12when my mom told him to stop doing this.
06:15Lindsay Eisenberg was guardian to Christopher Schultes' daughter from a previous relationship.
06:19Did the oldest daughter relay to police that she had been left alone in a car before by her father?
06:25Yes.
06:25Christopher used to work at bars when she was younger
06:29and would leave his oldest daughter in the car for hours, like his whole shift, for hours.
06:36That daughter lived with Lindsay after the Department of Child Services
06:39removed her from Christopher Schultes' home.
06:42Now he's finally facing the consequences.
06:45Schultes will be sentenced to next month.
06:47He's expected to get 20 years in prison with no chance of getting out early.
06:52It's not the way the NBA wanted to start the season, with a huge cheating and gambling scandal.
06:59Authorities say players and coaches are involved, including a legendary coach
07:04who was courtside last night just hours before his arrest.
07:09As Stephen Fabian tells us, the FBI says the scheme has mob links.
07:13As the Portland Trailblazers kicked off the NBA season last night,
07:17these players had no idea their head coach would be under arrest in just a short time.
07:23Chauncey Billups even appeared at the post-game news conference,
07:26giving no hint of the scandal about to hit him.
07:29Man, this is crazy.
07:31Just last year, Billups was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame
07:34for his legendary playing days with the Detroit Pistons.
07:37The illegal gambling allegations could not come at a worse time.
07:41The NBA is kicking off its season this week,
07:44and suddenly the focus isn't on basketball, but cheating.
07:48One of the most brazen sports corruption schemes
07:51since online sports betting became widely legalized in the United States.
07:56The allegations against this player are shocking.
07:59Terry Rozier, then with the Charlotte Hornets,
08:01is charged with faking an injury during this game on March 23, 2023.
08:06You see him on the court at the top of the game,
08:08but nine minutes later, he's on the bench.
08:11Terry Rozier, an NBA player now with the Miami Heat,
08:14but at the time playing for the Hornets,
08:16allegedly let others close to him know that he planned to leave the game early
08:21with a supposed injury.
08:23Even the king himself, LeBron James, is touched by the scheme.
08:27His close buddy, former player Damon Jones,
08:30allegedly sent this message to a pro gambler on February 9, 2023,
08:34urging him to place a large bet on the Lakers' opponent, the Milwaukee Bucks,
08:39because James would be out with a lower body injury that night.
08:42Get a big bet on Milwaukee tonight before the information is out, Jones texted.
08:46The Lakers lost.
08:48There's no suggestion in the indictment that LeBron knew about the scheme.
08:51At today's news conference,
08:53federal and New York City authorities laid out the high-tech ways the cheating unfolded.
08:57So I'm here at Blatt Billiards in Midtown Manhattan.
09:00One of the ways this scandal went down is they would use a card shuffling machine like this.
09:05It's pretty simple.
09:06You split the cards.
09:07You press the button.
09:09All these cards are shuffled.
09:11Now, apparently, they manipulated these card shuffling machines
09:14to help them and give them some sort of advantage.
09:17Another thing that apparently they did,
09:19they had hidden cameras, like, under the table.
09:21A final message to the accused.
09:23My message to the defendants who've been rounded up today is this.
09:28Your winning streak has ended.
09:31The NBA says the coach and player Terry Rozier have been placed on leave,
09:36adding the integrity of the game remains their top priority.
09:41What a pro.
09:42That's what's being said about a reporter who was covering a college football game
09:46when some rowdy fans interrupted her live report.
09:50Grace under pressure.
09:52A young sports reporter is accosted by unruly fans on live TV.
09:57One knucklehead sticks his head into the camera during her live shot.
10:01The offense is looking a lot more versatile.
10:03They're getting their tight end.
10:04But Olivia Cleary, who's just 22, doesn't miss a beat
10:08as the troublemakers relentlessly scream the slang phrase,
10:12Sweeping America.
10:14Get shut up!
10:17Get shut up!
10:20Another dude mindlessly says,
10:22help with a beer in his hand.
10:25Help me!
10:26Somehow, the young reporter ignores the chaos
10:29and powers through her halftime report
10:31as she covers the football game between Oregon State and Lafayette College.
10:35Still seem really characteristic with the running game.
10:39At one point, it appears the heckling starts to get to her.
10:43You can see tears well up under her eye,
10:45but she remains poised all the way through.
10:48Look at that!
10:49Today, the local reporter in Eugene, Oregon, is being praised for her composure.
10:54You handled it like a pro.
10:56Extreme class and well done are just a few of the lauding comments.
11:01You can definitely tell there is a new play caller in town.
11:05Olivia is also speaking out.
11:06Things got a little out of hand.
11:09Live TV is unpredictable, and sometimes you have to roll with it.
11:13What a pro.
11:19There are unusually large crowds outside the White House today
11:23trying to get a glimpse of the now-demolished East Wing.
11:26As anger grows, a Democratic congresswoman says
11:29as soon as Trump is out of office,
11:32they should tear down his giant ballroom
11:34and bring back the East Wing as it was.
11:38Here's Les Trent.
11:40Tourists flocked to the White House today
11:42to see for themselves the demolition of the historic East Wing.
11:47The president admitting the entire East Wing is going bye-bye.
11:52In order to do it properly, we had to take down the existing structure.
11:56The news is devastating for Kate Anderson-Brower,
12:00author of The Residence,
12:02and a White House correspondent when Michelle Obama occupied the East Wing.
12:06I think it's very sad and really heartbreaking
12:09to see pieces of American history be destroyed like this.
12:13So, we're in the East Wing.
12:15Back in 2019, I got a tour of the East Wing
12:18from First Lady Melania's chief of staff,
12:21Stephanie Grisham,
12:22and was blown away by the wood-paneled walls
12:25and majestic portico, now demolished.
12:30In its place will rise a massive ballroom.
12:33A scale model proudly revealed by the president
12:36shows what it will look like, and it really is big.
12:40This is going to be probably the finest ballroom ever built.
12:44The price tag has ballooned from $200 to $300 million,
12:49funded by 37 private donors,
12:52including Google, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, and Caterpillar.
12:59It looks very opulent.
13:01It looks similar to the ballrooms at Mar-a-Lago.
13:05It looks, frankly, a bit over the top.
13:08Today, this Democratic congresswoman vowed to tear the ballroom down
13:12if ever Democrats reclaim the White House.
13:15We ought to make the damn companies who have built it tear it back down
13:19and restore the White House to its actual structure.
13:24Trump's allies are pushing back.
13:26These are the same people who tore down every statue
13:29they could get their hands on in the last four years.
13:31They didn't have any concern for history then.
13:32Now, all of a sudden, the facade of the East Wing is iconic.
13:36Oh, give me a break. I mean, give me a break.
13:38We'll be back with much more Inside Edition after this.
13:41Next, ambushed at gunpoint.
13:44They stole his $600,000 luxury watch as he was getting into his car.
13:49He knew right away what they were after.
13:51Did this social media post lead thieves right to him?
13:55Don't post stuff on social media.
13:58And the jogger who punched out the Halloween display.
14:02Then came back for more.
14:06Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.

15:10I was born with a sunny disposition, but I had so much knee pain and foot pain.
15:17I wasn't that way anymore.
15:19I didn't know what to do.
15:20But then I'm driving down the street one day and my knee's hurting and I see a Good Feet store.
15:25I thought, what do I have to lose?
15:27Once I got my arch supports from Good Feet, I just went back to being my happy self again.
15:31My wife noticed it.
15:33My friends noticed it.
15:34Even my dog noticed it.
15:35I just wish that I'd found Good Feet 20 or 30 years ago.
15:40I've got my sunny back.

16:13Swarmed, a man is ambushed in a parking garage by a gang of thugs
16:17who beat him and stole his $600,000 watch.
16:21He tells Jim Murray he thinks he was targeted
16:23because he showed off that watch on social media just hours earlier.
16:29It's the horrifying moment a man is dragged from the wheel of his luxury car
16:33by three robbers brandishing guns.
16:36They're determined to steal this Swiss watch worth more than $600,000.
16:40The victim fights back and one of the robbers is sent sprawling,
16:44but the vicious gang gets clean away with the high-end bling.
16:48They knew all about the Richard Mille watch
16:50because he posted video of himself wearing it on Instagram just hours earlier.
16:56Big mistake.
16:56People told me previously, don't post stuff on social media, but I never thought.
17:02I went with him to the parking garage in Irvine, California, where he was attacked.
17:06He asked to be identified only as AG.
17:09AG knew he was a target the moment he got into his Bentley.
17:12An SUV cut him off, blocking his exit, and several men jumped out,
17:16and he knew right away what they were after.
17:18They completely blocked me here, and then they tried to open the door.
17:24Guns drawn.
17:25One was hitting me with a gun in the back of my head.
17:27The guy with the light hoodie was screaming, shoot him, shoot him.
17:31He says one of the robbers actually tried to shoot him from close range,
17:35but the gun jammed.
17:36The watch is uninsured, but its serial number has been sent to dealers
17:40and police departments around the world.
17:43They're items that represent success,
17:45but certainly you can become a target of other people
17:48if you're wearing these items or showing them off.
17:50What would you do differently?
17:52Definitely don't post.
17:54The victim himself is offering a $100,000 reward
17:58for information that leads to the arrest of his attackers.

18:23Even on an antidepressant, I was masking my depression.
18:28I felt I was missing out on the moments around me.
18:31So my doctor prescribed Rexalti.
18:33When added to an antidepressant,
18:35Rexalti was proven to significantly reduce depression symptoms
18:38more than an antidepressant alone.
18:39She said Rexalti could provide a boost.
18:42For me, less depression meant enjoying the little things.

20:52Halloween Grinches are ready to strike.
20:56Here's Ann Ricagliano.
20:57See those Halloween witches?
20:59They're about to have a rough day.
21:01Watch as a jogger runs past the front yard display
21:04in Salinas, California.
21:05So far, no problem.
21:07But then she comes back
21:09and punches one of the witches to the ground.
21:13Off she goes, back to her jog.
21:16But get this.
21:17Once again, she returns
21:19and punches out the other two witches.
21:23So could this Halloween decoration attack
21:26be just some kind of misunderstanding?
21:28Well, take a look at this video
21:29taken just a few days earlier.
21:31It looks like it's the same woman.
21:37I was frustrated, angry, you know,
21:39that she would come back and do it again.
21:41Tanya Sampanero put up those handmade witches.
21:44I have no idea who she is.
21:46Never seen her.
21:46Checked with my neighbors.
21:48They didn't recognize her.
21:49It's definitely just my house.
21:51And I don't know why.
21:53The incidents come after that wave of pumpkin heists
21:56and giant skeletons being stolen
21:58by Halloween Grinches across the country.
22:01We could sure use more kids
22:02like these big-hearted trick-or-treaters.
22:05They find that the Halloween candy bowl is empty.
22:08Don't worry.
22:09So they proceed to fill it on their own.
22:12That'd be nice.
22:12Good job, kids.
22:15Their parents should be proud.
