01:27Forget me.
01:28Then, the college student who says she was turned down by every sorority twice.
01:32I got called fat, ugly, and stupid.

01:41But, will picture-perfect passport photos get you stopped at security?
01:46Please, I don't look like my passport.
01:48Now, Inside Edition.
01:50Hello, thanks for joining us.
01:53I'm Mary Calvey.
01:54There is a carjacking crime wave in our nation's capital.
01:58And, this is the latest victim.
01:59He's 19 years old and was among the most visible figures of President Trump's Doge, which aimed to slash government spending.
02:06The president says crime is so bad in D.C., he's threatening to take federal control of the city.
02:13Somebody from Doge was very badly hurt last night.
02:16You saw that.
02:16President Trump is threatening to take over Washington, D.C. after a Doge whiz kid was beaten up by carjackers.
02:24The infamous Doge lieutenant, Big Balls, was just jumped in D.C.
02:29The 19-year-old former Doge staffer beaten by a violent mob of minors.
02:34Edward Corstein, a.k.a. Big Balls, a name he chose as a joke for his LinkedIn account, was left a bloody mess after cops say he fought off a gang of teens attempting to steal his girlfriend's car.
02:47Who's Big Balls?
02:49Big.
02:49Corstein was hailed a boy genius when he dropped out of college to join Elon Musk's Doge squad to cut government costs.
02:59One of our initiatives is to root out fraud and waste.
03:02And today, his old boss is praising his bravery.
03:06A gang of about a dozen young men tried to assault a woman in her car, Musk says on social media.
03:12Edward ran to defend her and was severely beaten to the point of concussion.
03:16But he saved her.
03:18Carjacking is an epidemic in D.C. and 51% of the perpetrators are juveniles.
03:25This attempted carjacking happened in broad daylight.
03:29A suspect grabbed a golf club to attack the car's owner, who fought back.
03:35In this notorious carjacking, an Uber driver hung on for dear life as two teenagers drove off with his car.
03:44They crashed, killing him, and then attempted to flee.
03:50They stole the car.
03:51They stole the car.
03:52These girls.
03:53And cops say two 15-year-olds beat up Big Balls.
03:56A year ago, my niece was shot.
03:59The beating is sparking an outcry over violence in D.C.
04:02This is a serious crime.
04:04A mile from the White House.
04:06This isn't a joke.
04:07Tamara Jackham's son, Eric, a 21-year-old congressional intern, was caught in the crossfire of a shootout in June and killed.
04:16Now, the president is warning D.C.'s mayor, Muriel Bowser, to crack down or he will.
04:23And either they're going to straighten their act out in terms of government and in terms of protection,
04:27and we're going to have to federalize and run it the way it's supposed to be run.
04:32Now, a crime happening across the country in Los Angeles where neighbors have banded together to protect their mail,
04:38which they say has been stolen for weeks now.
04:40They confronted the man they say is the thief, and it got really ugly with one of the residents pulling out pepper spray.
04:47Jim Murray has details.
04:49A suspect is taken down by a band of citizens fed up with their mail getting stolen.
04:54What's up, buddy?
04:55You like to steal mail?
04:56The suspect, wearing a bucket hat and orange shirt, tries to flee on a scooter, but he's pepper sprayed.
05:02You like to steal mail?
05:04Get the f*** out of here.
05:07These neighbors join in, forming a citizens' brigade of crime fighters.
05:11Where are you going?
05:12Leave me alone.
05:13An all-out knockdown fight ensues as the suspect tries to get in his car.
05:18Leave me alone.
05:19Listen as one of the neighbors smashes his windshield.
05:22They also slashed his tires.
05:26Residents here in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles say they've been tormented for many months by brazen mail thefts.
05:33And when they finally caught the alleged thief red-handed, they decided it was time to take action.
05:39Then he whipped up the same scooter with the same duffel bag.
05:42Everything matched.
05:43You knew what the suspect looked like, and you saw him?
05:45Yeah, he actually robbed this apartment complex four times in the past four days.
05:50So he has come every night.
05:52Surveillance cameras sure seem to have caught the suspect in the act.
05:55He walked into the lobby with a shopping bag and used a master key to clean out the mail.
06:00Then he left.
06:02It escalated almost immediately when I said, hey, do you like to steal our mail?
06:05He then charged at me, and I pepper sprayed him.
06:07So the folks around here are so fed up, and they're happy that you're kind of standing up for them?
06:12Not everyone likes to see fighting.
06:13I don't like to fight.
06:14I just want things to stop.
06:15Leave my stuff alone.
06:17Stay off my street.
06:18You like to steal mail?
06:19Huh?
06:19Huh?
06:20Huh?
06:20Do you like to steal mail?
06:21The residents hope the video will help catch the suspect.
06:24Last week's shooting in a New York office building that left four dead shocked the nation.
06:28Now we're seeing new video of the shooter from previous run-ins with police in Las Vegas.
06:34In one incident, they questioned him inside his apartment about having a gun.
06:38As Les Trent reports, the video is many asking, could he have been stopped?
06:43We're learning more about the mental health struggles of the man who gunned down four people
06:47in the Midtown Manhattan office shooting spree.
06:51Just released body cam shows the mass killer, Shane Tamora, interacting with Las Vegas police
06:57in the years leading up to the Manhattan massacre.
07:01Magnum shooter, 345 Park Avenue.
07:03September 2023.
07:05Tamora had just won $5,000 gambling at a casino.
07:10Cops were called after he refused to identify himself or show ID to collect his winnings and
07:17shoved a casino worker.
07:19So they wanted you to show ID.
07:22Very simple.
07:23You didn't want to do it.
07:24Okay, that means they're not giving you your money.
07:26So I'm under arrest.
07:27Okay?
07:28So I'm under arrest.
07:29You're having a real hard time.
07:30You're being detained right now.
07:31I'm asking you, am I under arrest?
07:33He's kicked out, but comes back and tries to re-enter the casino.
07:38You guys can't go in there and cash me out?
07:40How do I make rent?
07:41It's a civil issue.
07:42Dude, that's five grand.
07:44How do I make rent?
07:45Not my problem.
07:46August 2024.
07:48Tamora's mother calls 911 to report her son is having a bipolar episode.
07:54He said he's going to kill himself.
07:56He just said he just can't take it anymore.
07:58He voluntarily agrees to have a mental health evaluation.
08:02Last week, Tamora drove cross-country to the Park Avenue skyscraper where he gunned down
08:08four victims.
08:08Now, many are questioning how he was legally able to own a gun with his long history of
08:15troubling behavior.
08:17I'm asking you, am I under arrest?
08:19In a suicide note, the shooter claimed to be suffering from CTE, the brain disorder that
08:23afflicts many football players after suffering concussions in high school.
08:28Police believe that's why he targeted the NFL, which has its headquarters in that building.
08:32A funeral was held for wrestling icon Hulk Hogan yesterday, but someone who was not there was
08:37his estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan, who instead spent the day at the beach.
08:43Hulk Hogan's estranged daughter is telling the world why she refused to attend her father's
08:49funeral.
08:50As the solemn service was taking place, 37-year-old Brooke Hogan posted this photo of herself and
08:56her baby twins at the beach.
08:58My father hated the morbidity of funerals.
09:01He didn't want one, she says.
09:03Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul.
09:07We took our babies to the beach.
09:09Brooke has had no contact with her father for two years.
09:12Her decision is causing uproar among Hulk Hogan fans.
09:16Many are slamming her on social media.
09:19He's her father.
09:20She should have gone.
09:21Going to the beach is not honoring your father.
09:24Six pallbearers carried the casket into the church in Clearwater, Florida.
09:28He was cremated.
09:29The medical examiner listed Hogan's cause of death as a heart attack and revealed he also
09:34suffered from leukemia, something Brooke told the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show came as
09:39a shock to her.
09:40They're saying, oh, yeah, leukemia.
09:42And I'm like, we don't have cancer that runs in our family.
09:45It seems weird.
09:46I do think it's weird that no autopsy was performed because, yes, you can have a heart
09:50attack.
09:50But what was the reason for the heart attack is the question.
09:53Let Trump-a-mania run wild, brother.
09:57Hulk Hogan was MAGA through and through.
09:59And to mark the funeral, President Trump posted this photo of the pair arm wrestling.
10:04I thought everybody would enjoy seeing this picture.
10:07This nine-year-old girl was getting a surfing lesson when a sea lion went on the attack.
10:13And in a move wildlife experts say is rare, the sea lion pulled her under the water and
10:18bit her leg.
10:19Now she's talking with Inside Edition about what happened.
10:23This little girl is the latest victim of a sea lion attack.
10:26Cora Olsen was rushed to the ER with painful puncture wounds and bruises after a sea lion
10:32chomped down on her leg.
10:34There she is, close to shore, right before the attack.
10:38We were like, oh, my God, we need to get back to shore.
10:41And I was swimming really fast, like, towards us.
10:43Her twin sister, Skye, and brother Rhodes were with her when it happened.
10:47The sea lion lunged at my sister.
10:50It came up and it bit Coral on the leg.
10:53Wow.
10:54What did that feel like?
10:55It was like a lot of pain.
10:56Here's Ann Mercogliano.
10:57The nine-year-old and her two siblings were taking lessons at a surfing camp in Pacific
11:01Grove, California, when the sea lion lunged at Coral.
11:05She says the beast dragged her under the water.
11:08It really hurt.
11:09And I was scared because it brought me down.
11:12And it was really scary at that moment.
11:16Her quick-acting surf instructor rushed Coral and her siblings back to shore.
11:21I scooped up Coral and her brother with Skye on my back and carried them all out of the water.
11:26I straight jumped into my instructor because I didn't want to get bit again.
11:30Sea lion attacks are not unheard of.
11:32This one is the most famous.
11:34A young girl was pulled into the water from a dock and her grandfather jumped in to save
11:41her.
11:41And the attacks appear to be escalating.
11:44Four months ago, this 15-year-old suffered more than a dozen puncture wounds after she
11:50was bitten by a sea lion in Long Beach.
11:53After that bite, I like turn around and I'm screaming for help.
11:56This man was also attacked by a sea lion off the coast of San Diego.
12:00He had to fight for his life for five terrifying minutes.
12:05He kept coming back at me.
12:07And fortunately, I always wear fins.
12:09So I was able to kick him over and over again with my fins.
12:12I have to ask you, Coral, are you willing and ready to go back in the water?
12:17Yeah, but I'm still a little bit scared.
12:19It's like a sea lion's going to come up to me.
12:23Experts say normally peaceful sea lions have been going crazy lately due to a toxic algae
12:28in the water, but it is believed in this attack, the sea lion was just being territorial.
12:33It's one of the glitziest places in the country, the Hamptons outside New York City.
12:37Now there's a mystery.
12:39What led to the death of a beautiful swimsuit designer who was found not breathing on a
12:44boat docked at the Yacht Club?
12:46Stephen Fabian has details.
12:48What happened at the Yacht Club?
12:50That's the mystery swirling today after a beautiful fashion designer is found dead on
12:55this boat at a yacht club in the swanky Hamptons.
12:58I don't feed me.
12:59I'm unconscious.
12:59Not breathing.
13:00It's a Montauk Yacht Club.
13:01It's a mystery in Montauk.
13:03Cops say good Samaritans tried to perform CPR on 33-year-old Martha Nolan, but couldn't
13:08save her.
13:08Martha was found around midnight on the boat at the Montauk Yacht Club at the very tip
13:14of Long Island during the height of the summer season.
13:17And her death is sending shockwaves here in the Hamptons, one of the most exclusive resort
13:22areas in the nation with multi-million dollar homes, pristine beaches, and celebrity sightings.
13:29Hello, hello.
13:30My name is Martha.
13:31Five weeks ago, Martha celebrated the opening of her pop-up store for her fashion label,
13:36East by East.
13:37She designed this swimwear.
13:39I think it resonates with so many people on so many levels.
13:42Cops say a preliminary investigation into the designer's cause of death was inconclusive.
13:46They are now awaiting an autopsy to determine if foul play was involved.
13:52Martha's boyfriend was reportedly with her at the Yacht Club and was heard screaming,
13:56that's my girlfriend, as he tried to get help.
13:58It's a super busy travel season with one out of four Americans vacationing overseas.
14:03And if you need a new photo for your passport, you may be taking part in a new trend of getting
14:08all glammed up.
14:09But be careful.
14:10If the TSA thinks you look like a different person, you could be in for some trouble.
14:14Getting all dolled up for your passport photo is a hot new trend.
14:20Ladies are going full glam.
14:22The most important part of this look is your brows.
14:25Lips, arguably the most important part.
14:27I'm going to do my eyes first.
14:2925-year-old Lauren Tibby shared her tips for a flawless passport photo.
14:35I think the key is to just blend everything up.
14:38I just looked at a bunch of videos online to kind of get some inspiration.
14:42She admits to being a little vain.
14:44I think I didn't love my last passport photo, so when I look down and I travel a lot,
14:48I just wanted to like that picture.
14:50Too much makeup could get you stopped by the glam police, better known as TSA.
14:56Yep, Alicia Marie has a flawless passport photo.
15:00But on this morning, with no makeup, she looked nothing like her photo.
15:04Please don't look like my passport.
15:06That sure was a wake-up call.
15:08This is why you should never do hot photos for your passport.
15:13Never.
15:14Revian Chang says she was stopped by customs when she visited Vietnam.
15:18This is how she looked in her old passport.
15:21They had one question.
15:23Is this you?
15:24And he's like, are you sure?
15:25And I'm like, it is.
15:26Here's another tip.
15:28If you choose to smile in your passport photo, don't show teeth.
15:31That's a big no-no because it throws off facial recognition technology.
15:36Next.
15:37I did not receive a bid.
15:38The college student who says she was turned down by every sorority twice.
15:42I got called fat, ugly, and stupid.
15:45Then, Blue Jeans Wars, Beyoncé vs. Sydney Sweeney.
15:50Inside Edition will be right back.

18:33College students are gearing up for Sorority Rush Week, but not this student.
18:38She attends the University of Alabama and says she got rejected from every sorority, not once, but twice.
18:45They're over-the-top University of Alabama sorority videos.
18:49But you won't find this young woman taking part because she got rejected from every sorority, not once, but two years in a row.
18:59I did not receive a bid or an invitation back.
19:05We spoke to Morgan and her mom, Lori, who are featured in the new Lifetime docuseries, A Sorority Mom's Guide to Rush.
19:12Morgan, how devastated were you when you got denied a second time?
19:16I was absolutely crushed.
19:17You try to ask yourself, what did I do wrong?
19:20Why wasn't I good enough?
19:21What could I have done to be better?
19:23Were you just as disappointed as your daughter?
19:25I was.
19:26I just wanted her to have friends.
19:27I wanted her to have those connections for the rest of her life.
19:30Morgan Cadenhead, now a junior at the University of Alabama, rushed during both her freshman and sophomore years, posting lots of those widely popular outfit of the day, or OOTD, videos on TikTok.
19:43The skirt is from Vineyard Vines.
19:45The shoes are from Doc Martens.
19:47But she also posted videos critical of the sorority lifestyle.
19:51There is no way anybody in their right mind is walking around in the scorching hot Tuscaloosa heat with heels.
19:59Why do you think they rejected you both times?
20:01I feel like my social media was a huge contending factor for both the first and second time.
20:06I got called fat, ugly, and stupid of a ton of different ways.
20:13Bill Alverson, who coaches sorority hopefuls, worked with Morgan.
20:17When your social media presence is based upon the negative of the groups that you now want to be on, that's a massive mountain.
20:25But with more than 200,000 followers on TikTok, perhaps Bama Morgan, as she's known on social media, is having the last laugh.
20:33You might not have gotten in, right?
20:34But, I mean, you have probably more fame than a lot of the people that made it into the sorority, right?
20:39Ironically.
20:40Yeah, ironically, yeah.
20:42I did not receive a bid.
20:44When we come back, Sydney, Sweeney, and Beyonce locked in an all-out jeans war.
20:52Things were already so difficult for my mom when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
20:57Then she developed agitation that may happen with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease.
21:02She started verbally lashing out, breaking things, wondering at night.
21:07These symptoms were a different kind of difficult.
21:10So, we asked her doctor for more help.
21:13Rick Salty is the only FDA-approved medication proven to reduce symptoms of agitation that may happen with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease.
21:21Elderly people with dementia-related psychosis have increased risk of death or stroke.

21:32High blood sugar can lead to coma or death, weight gain, increased cholesterol, unusual urges, dizziness on standing, falls, seizures, trouble swallowing, or sleepiness may occur.
21:42I'm glad I asked for help.
21:45Ask your loved one's doctor today about Rick Salty.
21:49Moments matter.
21:52Fixing your car's air conditioning shouldn't be like searching for buried treasure.
21:57RockAuto.com has complete air conditioning kits with everything you need at reliably low prices.
22:02My feet hurt so bad in the morning, I couldn't even put my feet on the floor.
22:11So, I had to start engineering my own art support.
22:13So, I got that.
22:14Then, I put this in there.
22:16This one.
22:17Finally, before I added another one of these in, I went to Goodfeet.
22:22And they gave me this.

23:37You've heard all the buzz about Sydney Sweeney and her jeans ads.
23:41Now Beyonce is entering the ring in what's being called jean wars.
23:46Look who's joining Sydney Sweeney in the war of the jeans.
23:50It's Beyonce looking like a blonde bombshell in a new ad for Levi's.
23:54The campaign features a blonde Beyonce galloping through town on horseback as she shoots pool with the fellas in flashy denim duds.

24:15Hey, I was up here.
24:17When we come back, a different kind of musical duo.
24:20Honey, your mouth and eyes are moving again.
24:24Really?
24:25Yeah.
24:26Let's go talk to your doctor.
24:27We learned the uncontrollable movements are called tardive dyskinesia, or TD, and were caused by Derek's mental health medications.
24:34Derek was prescribed Osteto XR, a once-daily extended-release pill for adults.
24:38As you go with Osteto.
24:40Osteto XR can significantly reduce TD movements, with some seeing a response as early as two weeks.
24:49And he can stay on his mental health medications.
24:52Osteto XR can cause depression, suicidal thoughts, or actions in patients with Huntington's disease.
24:56Pay close attention to and call your doctor if you become depressed, have sudden changes in mood, or have suicidal thoughts.
25:01Don't take if you have liver problems or taking reserpine, tetrabenazine, or valbenazine.
25:05Osteto XR may cause irregular or fast heartbeat or abnormal movements.
25:08Seek help for fever, stiff muscles, problems thinking, or sweating.
25:11Common side effects include inflammation of the nose and throat, insomnia, and sleepiness.
25:18If you see TD, ask about Osteto XR.
25:22Hey, buddy.
