00:00Well, the national football team will be hoping to avoid three defeats under new head coach
00:04Dwight York as they get set to face Jamaica a second time from 9 p.m.
00:09Captain of the team Kevin Molino says they've been trying out a new formation but insists
00:13there is a need to win ahead of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup prelims.
00:19I think we had a great showing, both first half and second half, but especially first
00:23half we kept the ball and we worked to the plan that York wanted for us to get familiar
00:30with and we had a good showing and the next time we get another opportunity to play again
00:36on Sunday to showcase our talent and showcase what we need to do and as you said it's crunch
00:41time now, this is the only game before the upcoming game in March and we're just looking
00:45forward to it.
00:46Molino added they are getting familiar with a new approach to the first half under York.
00:52A new formation under Dwight York we played and also you always want us to play on the
00:57front foot, unusual national team, we're never always on the front foot so we're getting
01:02used to that, making sure we're playing the ball forward, trying to high press and win
01:06the ball high up the park and try to combination and get goals in the final third, more opportunities.
01:13I think we create a lot of opportunities but we should create more and all in all it's
01:18a good showing from the guys and we're just looking forward to the game on Sunday.
01:22There has also been some sad news in the camp.
01:25Russell have lost his dad and he's not there for the funeral and that just shows his commitment
01:31to the team and we just want to say on behalf of Fummey, on behalf of him and the whole
01:37entire team condolences to you and the family and we're with you.
