00:00Apparently this is Florida's most famous salad. And what is it? None other than the famous Columbia
00:07restaurant 1905. It starts off with some good old-fashioned iceberg lettuce. You've got all
00:13your favorite toppings of like a good old-fashioned sub sandwich like Swiss cheese,
00:20deli ham, some tomatoes, and green olives. Now the 1905 salad was invented by Tony Noriega in
00:28the 1940s who was a server at the Columbia restaurant. Apparently Tony created this salad
00:34as a midnight snack. It is a nod to all of the immigrants that immigrated to the cigar city in
00:40Tampa with this Cuban-inspired garlicky dressing. And while we do have the official dressing recipe
00:48which we'll share in the caption, I found the dressing straight from Columbia restaurant at
00:54the grocery store. You are also going to add in some freshly grated Romano cheese, the juice of a
01:00lemon Worcester sauce, and here we have it, the 1905. The dressing smells so good. I'm not usually one
01:08for salads like these. It's honestly the dressing. All I have to say is Columbia restaurant, if I am
01:13ever in the vicinity, I will be coming to order the 1905.
01:17Mmm!
