03:40I've got another interesting Bible study for you today.
03:47Two spirits.
03:50Quick review.
03:51Last Friday night, I taught on a divine revelation that God gave me many years ago.
03:57I hadn't taught on it in about three years.
04:02It was, the title of the teaching on YouTube is King Dipsicus.
04:09And the Greek word Dipsicus was translated double-minded in the King James Bible.
04:15It actually means a person with two souls.
04:17And I explained in that teaching, what's the root cause of a serial killer?
04:26What's the root cause of a mass murderer?
04:30Remember, like Hitler, like Jeffrey Dahmer, what's the root cause of your relatives, your friends, who seem to have weird split personalities?
04:42They're very odd.
04:43One minute, one minute you're talking to them, the next minute, it's almost like this other person comes out of them.
04:50Something triggers a switch, and it clicks over from the real person you're talking to, which is their real soul, flips over to this fake demonic soul that was constructed inside their mind and their subconscious.
05:04And it's the weirdest thing you've ever seen.
05:07A weird movie came out about two years ago.
05:11I think it was called Nefarious.
05:13In which a psychologist, he wasn't saved, he was a secular psychologist, went into a prison to evaluate a person that seemed to have a split personality.
05:24And the guy actually was possessed.
05:27And most of the interview between the person and the psychologist in that movie was with the psychologist and the demon that had infected this poor guy.
05:38Sometimes the poor guy would come out, and he was crying and weeping and said, hey, this demon controls me.
05:45I'm a slave.
05:47He treats me like garbage.
05:49He was crying, you know, crying out for help.
05:51And then switch, click, boom, the nefarious demon came back and then started to mess around with a psychologist.
05:59It was kind of an interesting movie.
06:01I'm not recommending it, though.
06:03I'm just mentioning it, that I happen to check that out.
06:06I like to check stuff out, good or bad.
06:10But today's Bible study on two spirits is different than someone that has two souls.
06:16And I want to explain that to you.
06:18But please remember that we're having a healing seminar on August 8th and 9th.
06:28And Stephanie's going to be teaching 8th and 9th, Friday, August 8th, Saturday, August 9th.
06:38August 8th is at 7 o'clock at the Deliverance Center.
06:40August 9th is at 10 a.m. at the Deliverance Center.
06:43And we're going to have a rack of people healed during this two-day healing seminar.
06:50It's going to go very well.
06:53Everybody's going to be amazed at it.
06:56And then we're going to have all kinds of testimonies Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, plus more healings Saturday morning.
07:03So if you can't make it Friday, come Saturday and you will be healed, not this weekend, but next weekend.
07:10Boom.
07:10We also have two live services every week, Thursday, Friday nights at 7 o'clock.
07:15We have four Zoom services, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

07:25That's at 6 p.m. Pacific and Arizona time.
07:29Two spirits.
07:30During the Jerusalem revival, that was the greatest revival that's ever existed.
07:403,000 souls were added to the church during this revival.
07:44It was really quite remarkable.
07:46Took over most of Jerusalem.
07:48The Jews, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes, everybody, they were so mad they couldn't see straight.
07:55But there wasn't anything they could do to stop it.
07:58The Holy Ghost outpouring that Joel spoke about had happened.
08:02And the devil was getting his face kicked in from pillar to post.
08:05It was a brutal beating.
08:07And in this revival, there were so many people getting healed and delivered from demons.
08:14It was really quite remarkable.
08:16There were so many people filled with the Holy Ghost and receiving one or more of the nine gifts of the Spirit.
08:23That was also remarkable.
08:25But what was amazing one day, Ananias and Sapphira, they were kind of kindred spirits.
08:32They had kind of gravitated to each other because they had both been kind of abused as children.
08:38And they both had rejection demons and low self-esteem.
08:44But some people that have low self-esteem and rejection demons, some of them are very good at business or entrepreneurship or making money
08:53because they're working and working and working to overcome their perceived level of inefficiencies and deficits.
09:02And this is the case with Ananias.
09:04He was a hardworking, successful businessman.
09:08He had money and assets and land.
09:12Well, they were in the service one day and something happened.
09:17And they found out it could have been a testimony service like we're going to have on the 9th.
09:23It could have been somebody testified or somebody testified about somebody.
09:29Anyways, some other person that had money and assets had donated some land to the ministry.
09:35And he donated it with a good heart.
09:38And he donated it without anybody knowing who his name was and everything.
09:42And everybody praised this guy.
09:44Oh, what a wonderful thing to do.
09:45He's a good guy.
09:46That's really neat.
09:48And Ananias and Sapphira, they heard that thing.
09:51And immediately, their rejection demons manifested.
09:57They said, hey, you got a bunch of land.
10:00Why don't you donate some land?
10:02And you're going to get a lot of affirmations because that's what people with rejection demons love the most.
10:09They want to be affirmed.
10:12They want to sense that people like them and that they're accepted and that they respect them.
10:21They crave it because they didn't get it from their family when they were young.
10:26Well, Ananias and Sapphira also figured it out and they penciled it out and they said, hey, you know what?
10:31Nobody's going to know the difference.
10:34We can skim this thing.
10:36So, they donated this land like that other guy did and they got the affirmations.
10:43People were going, oh, that's great.
10:45You know, you sold the land and you, you know, but actually they had skimmed it.
10:49They skimmed off of it.
10:52Well, the next day or something shortly thereafter, the great apostle Peter, who probably had all nine gifts,
10:59says to Ananias, hey, you lied to the Holy Ghost about that land.
11:08And the Holy Spirit did something he doesn't normally do.
11:11He had to make an example of these people because the revival was so important.
11:17And as far as we know, he never did this afterwards.
11:22Ananias just dropped dead right on the spot.
11:24And everybody was like, wow, absolutely shocking.
11:28Don't mess around with the Holy Ghost.
11:30They carted him out and buried him.
11:33His wife came in later.
11:34Same scenario.
11:36She lied to the Holy Ghost.
11:38Boom, she dies.
11:40Now, that's not the normal way the Holy Spirit handles people who sin, you know.
11:44But in that particular instant, because he needed to make a major statement about how important the survival was,
11:53those people died.
11:56Those people died.
11:57And the problem was, they had gotten saved during the revival, and they were thrilled and happy and just like everybody else was.
12:08But they had not gone through deliverance yet.
12:12So they still had two spirits.
12:16They had the Holy Spirit, and then they had demons of greed and rejection and so on.
12:22They were two-spirited individuals.
12:24They were two-spirited individuals.
12:25Christians with spirits.
12:28Saints infected with demons.
12:30And so the demons inside of them, which they didn't know they had.
12:39If they did know they had them, they didn't do anything about them.
12:41They manifested in greed and this rejection demon also manifested and told them, look, we can get, you know, we can soothe our souls and get some credit for this and recognition for this.
12:57And boy, won't we feel better?
12:59Yes, honey, I'd feel a lot better if people liked me and wanted to be around me and I don't know.
13:04Actually, they were probably already liked and loved and people wanted, but people who have rejection demons don't see that.
13:10They're always looking at the deficit, not the asset.
13:12You can give them 10 things, but they'll be looking at the 11th thing you didn't give them.
13:18That's what they'll notice.
13:19Click, they catch it.
13:21And it cost them both, cost them both their lives.
13:26And when it comes to born-again Christians and spirits, I want you to listen to me very carefully.
13:34Sometimes the worst thing that can happen to you is to go through deliverance.
13:38If you're a born-again Christian, you're infected with demons.
13:44You carry your demons over from your old sinful life.
13:47You never went through deliverance like Ananias and Sapphira.
13:50And now you're an infected born-again Christian like them.
13:55The problem with it is once you start your deliverance, if you stop it and you don't finish it,
14:02down the road at the finish line, guess who wins?
14:06Because it's not the Holy Spirit.
14:10The demons win.
14:12Here's why.
14:13The Holy Spirit is working with you on a daily basis, 24-7.
14:18But his assets are limited.
14:23Brother Mike, you sound like a heretic right now.
14:26No, I'm not.
14:28The Holy Spirit has rules about how he works with Christians.
14:33Those rules are your free will.
14:46Your volunteer work.
14:50Right?
14:50The demons, on the other hand, over here, they don't have limitations like that.
14:56They will lie, cheat, and steal.
15:01They will do anything.
15:04They will use the lusts of your flesh against you.
15:09They will use the wounds in your soul against you.
15:12They will use your unrenewed mind and your negative thinking patterns against you.
15:20And they don't care about your free will.
15:22They will beat it out of you until you obey them.
15:30Until you obey them.
15:31They will beat you into the ground until you obey them.
15:39They are taskmasters.
15:42And they want you as a slave.
15:44The Holy Spirit is not a taskmaster.
15:47He will not force you or dominate you.
15:51He only works with volunteers.
15:54He only works with volunteers.
15:59Now, I feel sorry for Ananias and Sapphira because that was a brand new revival.
16:04And they probably hadn't gotten into deliverance with Christians.
16:08They didn't know about carryover.
16:12They knew they still had symptoms of demons.
16:14And that's how you can tell if you still need more deliverance.
16:17If you have symptoms of demons.
16:19Let me give you a simple example.
16:20If somebody does something that hurts you or hurts somebody in your family, you get angry.
16:27When the incident is over, the anger goes, boom, and stops.
16:32You're not angry anymore.
16:34If something happens to you or your family and you get angry, and that anger won't go away.
16:43And it lingers for a long period of time.
16:47Then that anger transfers to something else.
16:51And it kind of develops a life of its own.
16:53That's a demon.
16:55Just because you get angry doesn't mean you have a demon.
16:59Anger is a normal reaction of the soul.
17:02And it's a good thing.
17:04You're supposed to be angry at bad things.
17:06But, never go to sleep on your anger, on your wrath, the Bible says.
17:15Wrap it up by the day it happens.
17:18Don't sleep on it or you're going to start developing sleep deprivation and insomnia.
17:22But, if that anger starts manifesting, like that, boom, boom, boom, that's a demon causing it.
17:35That's a demon.
17:36Okay?
17:38If you see a hot babe or a GQ guy.
17:41Ooh.
17:43Does he look great?
17:44And you have an instant desire for that person.
17:48You find them attractive and so on.
17:49But then you leave them and it all vanishes.
17:52It's over.
17:53That's probably not a lust demon.
17:57But, if you continue with it and you fantasize over it and you masturbate to it and it becomes a repetitive issue, that's a demon.
18:10You need deliverance.
18:12Not everybody needs deliverance.
18:16Everything is not a demon.
18:18But, if you have something that's consistent, that won't go away or repetitively keeps popping up.
18:26Man, I've been dealing with this issue for 12 years now.
18:29I'm so tired of it.
18:31That's a spirit.
18:34That's not you.
18:36That isn't you.
18:37Well, Ananias and Sapphira, you know, I give them the benefit of the doubt.
18:43And, maybe I shouldn't do that.
18:45You know, I don't have any authority to do that.
18:47I'm just talking off the top of my head.
18:49They probably didn't understand everything.
18:51They probably didn't understand that rejection demon and that greed that was driving them for recognition.
18:57They wanted a pat on the fanny.
18:59They wanted a hug.
19:00They wanted somebody to look at them.
19:01Oh, you're doing great for the Lord and so on.
19:05And, that happens all the time in churches.
19:07It's happened to me before.
19:08I did that when I was with the Assembly of God.
19:10I would have these demons manifest, desires to be recognized, desires to be liked, desire to be respected.
19:19I had that.
19:20It happened to me.
19:21God never killed me over it.
19:23I didn't get executed.
19:25That was a one-time thing.
19:27It was a special event.
19:29You're not going to get killed by God.
19:31That's not a normal pattern of the Holy Spirit at all.
19:33But, it had to be done at that time because the revival was so important.
19:37And, you and I wouldn't be around if it hadn't have been for the success of that revival 2,000 years ago.
19:43But, here's the thing.
19:45If you leave, if you're two-spirited and you didn't finish your deliverance, down the road, that spirit is going to take you.
19:58And, it doesn't matter how anointed you are.
20:03Now, let me say some other things.
20:05You're going to think I'm a heretic.
20:07Now, some people have huge anointings of the Holy Ghost.
20:15Some people have enormous giftings.
20:21When you see that in a person, that's a very dangerous situation.
20:27Here's why.
20:27It's human nature.
20:31It's human nature to see somebody with enormous giftings from God.
20:37To admire them, respect them, envy them, be a little jealous.
20:42To think that God really likes them a lot.
20:47To think that God sees them as holy, righteous, perfect, and so on.
20:52That is, that is all satanic.
20:55Just because you have a high anointing, doesn't mean you have a high character.
21:01I don't think you heard me.
21:10It's very common for people to have high anointings and a low character.
21:16I see it all the time.
21:23It happens all the time.
21:26And, the devil knows that's going to happen.
21:28So, he creates hero worship.
21:32Particularly with TV preachers and megachurch pastors and so on.
21:35He teaches people to idolize them in a way.
21:40It's kind of very, it's kind of soft, very soft, soft idolatry.
21:48Oh, they're so good.
21:49The preaching is great.
21:51Oh, gosh, you see that?
21:52He prayed for some.
21:53But, no matter how high your anointing is.
22:01It doesn't matter.
22:02However, down the road, you're going to get caught.
22:09And, you're going to lose.
22:12And, you may not come back from it.
22:17Examples.
22:18Thanks for asking.
22:22Jimmy Swaggart recently died.
22:24Back in the 80s and so on.
22:26He was the number one greatest preacher in the world.
22:31He was the preacher, the evangelist to the Pentecostals.
22:35You know.
22:36You had Luis Palau.
22:38And, he did a lot of Hispanic.
22:40Great man of God.
22:41Great preacher.
22:42Did a lot of work with Latinos and Hispanics.
22:46Billy Graham.
22:47All over the world.
22:50Fantastic.
22:52But, the Pentecostals didn't have anybody.
22:54Well, Jimmy Swaggart came along.
22:56And, he was their guy.
22:56And, they did the same thing they do to all great men and women of God.
23:02They put them on a pedestal.
23:04Hallelujah.
23:05Well, Jimmy Swaggart, as I mentioned in a previous podcast, he got infected with lust demons when he was a kid.
23:13Then, when he went in the ministry, when he was eight, he got called by God.
23:16And, then later on, he went in the ministry.
23:18He never went through deliverance.
23:20So, he carried over his demons from his sinful life into his Christian life.
23:25Well, guess what happened?
23:25Later on, they destroyed him.
23:29You know the story.
23:30It happened twice.
23:33Swaggart was a great example, though, of God's love and mercy.
23:36He was restored.
23:36He repented after the second time he failed.
23:40And, God forgave him.
23:41See, you can repent.
23:42And, God will forgive you.
23:44It doesn't matter how many times you failed.
23:45How many losses you have.
23:47How many marriages you have.
23:48How much money you've lost.
23:50Well, it doesn't matter.
23:51It doesn't matter.
23:52People who are broken before God and who beg for forgiveness, they get forgiven 100% of the time.
24:01100% of the time.
24:07Your anointing has nothing to do with your character.
24:12And, most Christians, probably 98% of them, don't have that discernment.
24:21They don't have that.
24:24They don't have it.
24:25They think, oh, if you're super anointed, you must be tight with God.
24:35You and the Lord are right here together.
24:37Boom.
24:38Wow, I'm going to listen to everything you say and believe everything you say.
24:44Major league mistake.
24:46Major mistake.
24:49Major mistake.
24:51Give me a couple other examples.
24:58Amy Simple McPherson.
25:02A gaspingly anointed woman of God.
25:06Gaspingly anointed.
25:08She had so many people healed in her ministry in California.
25:11It's unbelievable.
25:12Wonderful preacher.
25:17Huge anointing.
25:18Just off the chain.
25:21But, she never finished her deliverance.
25:24And, she started to develop anxiety.
25:26She started to develop sleep deprivation and insomnia.
25:31And, to make a long story short, obviously I'm on the podcast.
25:34I don't have any time to develop these stories.
25:36But, she died of an overdose in a hotel in Oakland.
25:42Sleeping pills.
25:45She took too many sleeping pills.
25:46She died.
25:47Now, some people said she committed suicide.
25:49I don't choose to believe that.
25:50That's just my personal opinion.
25:52I wasn't there.
25:53I don't know that.
25:54But, I believe that it was an accidental overdose.
25:57Whatever it was, it doesn't matter.
25:59My other point is, just because you have a super anointing that's off the chain,
26:05doesn't mean you've got character.
26:13It doesn't mean you can't be fooled.
26:18It doesn't mean that.
26:21Okay?
26:21Your anointing doesn't mean you don't have demons.
26:25I hope you're listening to me right now.
26:27I'm telling you the truth.
26:29I'm doing the best I can.
26:31Just because your anointing is high, doesn't mean you are a holy person.
26:37Doesn't mean you're a perfect person.
26:39Doesn't mean you're a super saint.
26:41With massive holiness, perfection, godliness, it doesn't, friend, it doesn't work that way.
26:52Now, they may be that way, but I'm saying you can't assume it's that way.
26:59Many years ago, you know, A.A. Allen was one of the most anointed faith healers that ever lived in the United States.
27:06This guy saw every healing you could ever imagine.
27:09Nothing got past him.
27:11His anointing was freakish.
27:14Freakish.
27:15Well, he was an alcoholic when he was in grade school.
27:18Full-blown alcoholic in grade school.
27:22We had stopped drinking for many years, but later on in his ministry, when he got old, like me,
27:28he hurt one of his knees, and I can't remember which one it was.
27:31It could be, but it doesn't matter.
27:33Left or right knee, blew the thing out or hurt it sometime.
27:35And he started having chronic knee pain.
27:40And A.A. Allen was like me, in a way, and like a lot of people who are, you know, in the deliverance or healing field,
27:49they can pray for other people, but they have trouble praying for themselves.
27:53Hello?
27:59Yeah.
27:59They pray for other people, and they see them healed, but they struggle praying for themselves.
28:04Well, A.A. Allen, these demons that got into A.A. Allen tricked him.
28:10They said, hey, you can use alcohol kind of as a sedative, and your knee will feel better, and so on.
28:15So he went back to secretly drinking on the side.
28:19Well, he went and got a, he had a knee surgery, and back in those days, as you know,
28:25they didn't have arthroscopic surgery for your knees.
28:29They cut the thing open.
28:31Well, as soon as the doctor cuts you open, you're dead in the water.
28:34You're not going to make it.
28:35I mean, you open somebody's knee up and fix it, they're screwed.
28:42It's over.
28:45Just recently, a couple days ago, Hulk Hogan died, the wrestling superstar.
28:51This guy went in for back surgery and went in nine more times for back surgery.
29:00As soon as they cut you open, these doctors, they know that they've got a guaranteed paycheck from now on
29:07because you're not going to recover.
29:08They know that going in.
29:09Ronnie Coleman is another example, the greatest bodybuilder that ever lived.
29:16This guy was so much better than everybody else.
29:18It was ridiculous.
29:20This guy goes in for one back surgery and ended up with so many back surgeries now, he can't even walk.
29:28He has to use Canadian crutches to get around.
29:32He can't walk.
29:33Okay, so it happened to A.A. Allen.
29:36Well, he was in San Francisco to see his surgeon for another surgery on his knee.
29:45And he's sitting in the hotel room in chronic pain, bored to tears, drinking.
29:52And what happened?
29:53Well, he did the same thing that Amy Simple McPherson did.
29:56He drank too much and he died.
29:59Hello?
30:04Hello?
30:07Okay.
30:09Before those two I was mentioning, the great Bill Branham was floating around the country.
30:16And another great minister at the time, a guy named Gordon Lindsay, was his manager and coordinated his ministry for him.
30:26Because Bill Branham had a low IQ and he wasn't a very intelligent person.
30:32His IQ was like in the 90s.
30:34But his anointing from God was like off the chain.
30:39Unbelievable.
30:41This guy was so anointed, it was incredulous.
30:45He had the gift of knowledge like nothing you've ever seen.
30:48Before or since.
30:49I mean, this guy, you wouldn't even believe it.
30:52People would come up for prayer and he said, are you so-and-so at this address?
30:56Is that your phone number?
30:57Unreal.
30:59Unbelievable.
30:59Well, the demons had gotten into Bill Branham and they told him that he's got this great anointing, that he should be teaching.
31:09And Gordon Lindsay, who was running the ministry for him, and he was his right-hand man, him and F.F. Bosworth, both of them were his number one advisors.
31:19Bosworth died and then Lindsay became the main one.
31:24Lindsay told him, look, you're not a very good teacher.
31:27You shouldn't be teaching.
31:28You've got all these gifts from God.
31:30The healing gift, the gift of knowledge.
31:33Let's just stick with that.
31:35And we're not going to get in trouble.
31:37Well, the demons kept telling Branham, oh, no, no, man, you've got to start teaching.
31:42You've got to start teaching, my man.
31:45So Branham starts teaching and a lot of it is false doctrine.
31:50He doesn't know what he's doing.
31:52He's not able to rightly divide the word of truth.
31:55His IQ is so darn low.
31:57His reading skills were poor.
31:59Originally, he had dropped out of school in the third grade.
32:02Later on, he had recouped.
32:04He either went to Bible college or got a Bible certificate or something.
32:08He didn't need to go anywhere.
32:10The Holy Ghost on this guy was so freakish.
32:13He didn't need any degrees or anything.
32:15But the devil had tricked him and talked him into teaching.
32:20Well, by this time, late in his ministry, Branham was so respected by Pentecostals and charismatics.
32:31And he was held in such high esteem that the good Lord had to remove him from his office.
32:40And that's what happened.
32:41And he died in a car wreck like Sam Kinison out in Bullhead City.
32:46Remember that a few years ago?
32:48Drunk driver across the lane.
32:49Bang, head on.
32:51Well, that's how Branham died.
32:54He was gone.
32:55Well, about six or seven years ago, something like that, I don't exactly remember.
33:02The Branhamites were in, some of them, the Branhamites filtered around the country after Bill Branham died.
33:09And it was almost kind of like a little bit of a cult.
33:13Well, some of these Branhamites showed up in Phoenix.
33:16And they started coming to the Deliverance Center.
33:19And they were mesmerized by my ministry.
33:25They saw all these people getting delivered at the services.
33:28They saw these people getting healed.
33:30They go, hey.
33:31They prayed about it.
33:34And God told them that I was to be the next Branham.
33:39I'm not making this story up.
33:41This actually happened.
33:43And they thought I was the biggest thing since sliced bread.
33:49Or mineral water.
33:53One of the two.
33:55Well, one day, one of the Branhamites scheduled an appointment to come in and see me.
34:00And I was hoping it was to come in to get Deliverance.
34:03Because it was funny, during the services, the Branhamites loved the services.
34:08But none of them ever came up to go through Deliverance.
34:11And that kind of bothered me.
34:14That concerned me.
34:15Well, the lady, she makes an appointment with me.
34:20And she comes in and she tells me what God told them.
34:24God told them this.
34:26Brother Mike, we want you to lead the Branhamites.
34:30I don't know if it was nationally or just in Arizona or just in the city of Phoenix.
34:34Whatever it was.
34:35Lead somewhere, somehow.
34:37I don't remember anymore.
34:39We want you to be the next guy.
34:43We think you're going to carry a mantle and all this stuff.
34:47And I'm sitting there listening to this lady.
34:49She talked for about 20 minutes.
34:50I gave her plenty of time to talk and get out of this.
34:54She didn't.
34:55At the end of it, I said, man, I appreciate you coming in and talking to me.
34:59And I'm happy that you're like me and the ministry and this kind of thing.
35:06But, you know, you've got the wrong person.
35:10Her face just, I mean, sunk instantaneously.
35:16She fell out of her chair and got on her knees in a praying position.
35:22This is a true story.
35:23I'm not making this up.
35:25In fact, I got a witness.
35:26Kelly was in the office with me when this happened.
35:30I got a witness of this.
35:32Well, I said to the lady, look, I'm just a regular person.
35:36I'm not going to be leading any kind of Bill Brannon movement or any other movement.
35:40I'm just here to see these people get healed and delivered.
35:44And I'm just, I'm Brother Mike.
35:46I'm not a prophet or a seer or a super prophet or any of these silly things.
35:52I don't have any of that.
35:53I'm just a regular, regular guy.
35:56I'm Mike.
35:58We never saw him again.
36:00They dumped me like a hot potato.
36:03I mean, whoa, I was gone.
36:07Gio Annie gone.
36:09Okay.
36:11Are you with me?
36:12I know this is a weird Bible study, but if you'll just hear me out, your anointing doesn't determine your character.
36:24Many years ago, as you well know, in Enid, Oklahoma, God called a minister of a small Pentecostal church named Oral Roberts.
36:35God called him into the healing ministry and Oral Roberts spent a long period of time praying and fasting.
36:46He'd been fasting and praying so much.
36:49He started to look sick.
36:50And when he was done, God had spoken to him and told him, I want you to go into the healing ministry.
37:00And he rented a downtown auditorium in Enid.
37:07And he told the Lord, look, if you're behind this, I need to have enough money come in during the offering to pay for this building tonight.
37:19And he said, number two, I have to have one significant, dramatic healing, at least one happened during the service.
37:35And he said, if these things don't happen and you're not behind this and I'm wrong, I quit.
37:40So he had his resignation all typed up to give to the Pentecostal church he was pastoring.
37:49And he had already checked on a job as a clerk at a hardware store, downtown Enid.
37:57He'd already been in and talked to the owner.
38:01And he said he wanted the job and he may be coming in to accept the job.
38:07The owner agreed to hire him.
38:10Well, you know the story.
38:11I mean, they had the meeting.
38:13The place was packed.
38:17Like 10 bucks came in over the amount needed to pay for the building.
38:23I think it was 10 bucks, five bucks.
38:25I mean, it was razor.
38:26It was razor thin, but it was there.
38:31Oral got up there and preached one of his country sounding sermons on healing.
38:36You know, just the basics.
38:39He wasn't a great preacher.
38:40But he always got the basics in and he preached from his heart.
38:44Okay.
38:45That's what made him so great.
38:47And he said, who wants to be healed?
38:50Well, some old lady got out of her seat and came down the aisle.
38:53She had a withered hand.
38:54And Oral just walked up to her like he owned her, grabbed that hand like that and yanked it up into the air and her hand went right in front of everybody.
39:13And I mean, the place erupted because everybody could see it.
39:22Boom.
39:24That thing healed.
39:25And the rest is history.
39:28He started his healing ministry.
39:30He was a major influencer of all the faith healers that ran around the country back in the 1970s.
39:39A.A. Allen was majorly affected when he went to one of Oral Roberts services and saw all these people getting healed.
39:48So anyway, the ripple effect was awesome.
39:51But what Oral didn't know was.
39:54He was infected with a spirit and this demon over a period of time.
40:00And as Oral got older and he got more tired, this demon started telling him, hey, Oral, listen, you need to you need to blend medicine and faith healing.
40:14You need to build a city of faith.
40:17Oh, then you need to have a university with a med school.
40:23And it's going to be a med school like no other med school in the United States.
40:28And it's going to be a faith-based medical school.
40:33Oh, boy.
40:36Wow.
40:39Oral, not knowing this is a demon, buys the whole thing lock, stock, and barrel.
40:48All of it.
40:50It sucks him in.
40:51And he abandons the ministry God called him into, which was faith healing, healing people.
41:00And he goes into this bizarre world of Christian entertainment, building Oral Roberts University, having a medical thing.
41:11And I don't have time to go into the whole story.
41:14It's fascinating.
41:15Get his book if you want to hear about it and so on.
41:17All these people wrote books.
41:20But Oral retired and dumped the ministry in his son's lap.
41:28His name was Richard Roberts.
41:31His son was a certified goof and didn't have a scrap of the anointing or the intelligence or the people skills that his dad had.
41:43I mean, he was a poor example of Oral.
41:47And Richard took over the ministry.
41:49Of course, ran it into the ground.
41:51The point I'm trying to make here is that just because you have a high anointing doesn't mean that you're not infected with spirits.
42:02And it doesn't mean you're not in deep trouble.
42:14So your character, believe it or not, in the long run, is more beneficial to you than your anointing.
42:21What's most beneficial is if you have both.
42:28A quality character and a very high anointing.
42:32And the devil will get slaughtered every single time.
42:39Because he's got no way to get in.
42:42He's got no way to manipulate you.
42:45You're not going to become a Branamite.
42:46I mean, I saw that coming.
42:50I never got involved in it.
42:52Branamites.
42:53Because I knew better.
42:54I knew they were infected.
42:56I knew they didn't know anything about actually getting delivered from demons.
43:00They liked watching it happen in my service.
43:03But they didn't know how to do it themselves.
43:06Let me give you one more example.
43:09Then I'll close.
43:10I apologize if I've gone too long.
43:13Several years ago in the United States, there used to be a great man of God.
43:16I mean, this guy was really something special.
43:18Kenneth Hagen was his name.
43:21And this guy came out of the 50s as a regular pastor.
43:25And he developed this enormous relationship with Christ.
43:29He wrote a book one time.
43:31It's one of the best books I've ever written by far.
43:35One of the best Christian books I've ever written called The Triumphant Church.
43:39And he had some stuff in there explaining the spirit world and demons that were absolutely just amazing.
43:49Plus, dozens of other really interesting topics.
43:52This guy was off the chain fantastic.
43:55Well, some weird guy from South Africa named Rodney Howard Brown, loaded with kundalini spirits, swept through the United States.
44:06And Hagen got sucked into this kundalini movement.
44:14And it doesn't matter how anointed you are.
44:18If you let your guard down and you are not sober and vigilant, watching for the devil, roaming around, seeking whom he may devour, it doesn't matter who you are.
44:31You're going to get caught.
44:34And Hagen got caught.
44:36He got caught up with the kundalini holy laughter movement, which was, on the face of it, insane.
44:43And then he got caught up in the prosperity doctrine.
44:46Well, before he died, he wrote a letter denouncing the prosperity gospel, saying that the thing, you know, it got out of hand.
44:55I shouldn't have been involved in it, and so on.
44:59In fact, I got a copy of that letter somewhere.
45:02I read it.
45:02I did a radio program on it years ago.
45:05But anyway, the point I'm trying to make is, hey, I'm not knocking Kenneth Hagen or Roberts, A.A. Allen, Branham.
45:13I love all them guys.
45:15You know, I respect them.
45:15But I look at them circumspectly.
45:18I see them in totality.
45:21I don't see them as an idol.
45:23I don't see them on a pedestal.
45:25I see them as regular human beings, which is what they were.
45:29They were all regular human beings.
45:30The only exceptional thing about them was the Holy Ghost.
45:35And the Holy Ghost is the only exceptional thing about any of us.
45:40Without the Holy Ghost, we're all just run-of-the-mill humans that really don't amount to anything.
45:46No offense.
45:47If Hagen can get caught, you can get caught.
45:54If Branham can get caught, you can get caught.
45:59Or Roberts, when he retired and dumped that ministry on his son Richard, the ministry was $40 million in debt.
46:09And Oral invented the prosperity doctrine.
46:16He called it seed faith.
46:17Well, back then, one of his students, Kenneth Copeland, caught under that seed faith thing and took it right into the satanic stratosphere.
46:28Copeland took it from here to there.
46:32Insane.
46:32Oral got caught.
46:40And you would have thought that you preach in prosperity and seed faith that if you're $40 million in debt, as they say in Bangkok, something wrong.
46:52Yeah, there's something wrong, friend, when you're preaching prosperity and you're $40 million in debt.
47:03It's a false doctrine.
47:05That's what's wrong.
47:06And you should have easily seen it.
47:09Red flags all over the place.
47:12No.
47:14When you're infected with spirits, you'll believe almost any delusion you can ever imagine.
47:20The great Kenneth Hagin stood up there on the platform and watching all these people rolling around, laughing their guts up, falling out of their chairs, laughing, running around the church service, laughing, falling down.
47:39Okay.
47:41Can you imagine that?
47:42I mean, you would expect that at a Howard, Rodney Howard Brown service, right?
47:47But not at a Kenneth Hagin service.
47:50This guy was a conservative, hardcore, gospel preacher.
47:56At one time, he had two-thirds of the New Testament memorized.
48:02He had two-thirds of the New Testament.
48:05I mean, this guy was the real deal.
48:07He got caught.
48:12And we can all get caught.
48:13Any of us can get caught.
48:14Yeah.
48:18So my moral of the story is, don't be two-spirited.
48:23Two spirits.
48:25Because eventually, the bad one will take the person.
48:32Branham died in a car wreck.
48:34Amy died in the hotel.
48:36Hello?
48:36Hello?
48:40Hello?
48:42Oral retired, $40 million in debt.
48:48Handed his ministry to his son, who ran the debt from $40 million to God only knows what.
48:54Years later, a multimillionaire or a billionaire, I think he was a billionaire, I think he was a graduate of ORU, a billionaire came along and paid the debt off for the whole university.
49:07They were about to file bankruptcy, and the whole thing was about to collapse.
49:12And this billionaire guy stepped in and bailed out the entire thing.
49:17This was after God told Oral Roberts that if he didn't raise $8 million, God was going to kill him like Ananias and Sapphira.
49:29I'm not making that story up.
49:32I am not making that up.
49:33I give you my word of honor.
49:36That actually happened back in the 80s.
49:39Because Oral said, if you don't send me $8 million, God's going to kill me.
49:47And I'm not making that up.
49:49That's how bad this thing got.
49:52And God sent him $8 million.
49:55The people did.
49:56God didn't.
49:57The people did send him $8 million because Oral Roberts had a vast army of people that were his supporters from his, you know, back in the day, in the 50s and so on,
50:08when he was a, you know, shocking, massively anointed faith healer and servant of God.
50:19Anybody can get caught, friend.
50:24Bill Branham had the smartest people in the world giving him advice.
50:29They warned him.
50:30They told him not to do it.
50:31He didn't listen.
50:37He never listened.
50:40Okay.
50:41So, what was I trying to do here today?
50:43Run these preachers down?
50:44No, I'm trying to help you.
50:46You've got to be careful.
50:48Once you start your deliverance, you've got to finish the thing.
50:52How do you know you still have demons?
50:54I told you earlier, if you have symptoms of them, you're still infected.
51:00So, you may have this many demons when you start, but then you've got this many out.
51:03Now, there's this many left.
51:06And some of them you don't even know you have because they go dormant.
51:10Then they manifest later under certain circumstances where they can damage you or destroy you.
51:15That's how they operate.
51:17They come and go.
51:18Matthew 12, Luke 11.
51:20The Spirit leaves.
51:21Then it comes back.
51:23They come and they go.
51:27It's strategic.
51:30Okay?
51:31So, if you've got the ability to, you know, interpret dreams, see the universe, heal any disease known to man, any sickness known to man.
51:46If you've got abilities you can't conceive nor believe, and nobody else can either, oops, dude, you better watch out.
51:59Somebody's going to come after you, and it's not going to be overt.
52:02It's covert spiritual warfare.
52:05That's the most dangerous kind.
52:09Covert spiritual warfare.
52:11You know, the old saying by these preachers is a higher level, the stronger devils, that kind of thing.
52:18There's some truth to that.
52:20Because if your anointing starts getting off the chart, you're going to get a target put on your back, and the devil's going to do everything he can to break you down.
52:29And if you're not sober and vigilant, like Kenneth Hagen, like Bill Branham, like Oral Roberts, hello, Amy Simple McPherson, come on now.
52:41If you're not sober and vigilant, hey, you know, you're going to get caught.
52:48Now, will God have mercy on you if you catch it and then repent?
52:51Yes, he will.
52:52Catherine Kuhlman had all kinds of horrible problems.
52:54She repented of it, and God forgave her.
52:58Jimmy Swagger, once again, major league, major league collapse, humbled himself and came back, and God forgave him.
53:10So, no matter what you go through, no matter how you go through it, always remember, you can come back.
53:16Because your miracle from God and your forgiveness and your grace is a drop to your knees away.
53:25That's how far it is.
53:28Now, I hope you're not mad at me today.
53:30I went over a lot of touchy subjects today, but that's the purpose of hardcore Christianity.
53:36Okay, this isn't somebody, God, or four square.
53:39This is hardcore.
53:41Okay, so that's my job to bring you these kind of messages and these kind of teachings.
53:46And I know they're true because God revealed them to me, and I personally experience them, so I share them with you, okay?
53:52I do that because I care about you.
53:53And I want you to grow and be strong and not get caught.
