03:26morning, yeah. Seems like every time I turn around, it's Sunday morning. Amazing. Okay,
03:33well, thank you for joining us. Grateful to have you. Today's Bible study will encourage
03:41you enormously, and it will be a tremendous blessing to you. Please remember our revival

04:42I've got a good Bible study for you today. It's in Romans chapter 5. I thought I'd give
04:50you a little different slant on it than you're used to having.

05:16Romans chapter 5 is literally mind-boggling. In this chapter alone, the great apostle Paul goes
05:26through justification, peace with God, access by faith into grace, standing in grace, being joyful in the
05:40Lord, grace in tribulation, the love of God in the heart of man, the Holy Spirit, salvation from wrath,
05:56reconciliation by the blood that Jesus shed. It's an amazing chapter, but I only want to go over a
06:05couple of verses with you. Let's take verse 1, for example. Therefore, being justified by faith.
06:13Justification there is the Greek word dikaio, and it's a Greek verb, and it means to be declared
06:22not guilty. Some of you have been divorced. Some of you were rotten fathers. Some of you were rotten
06:29wives. Some of you were terrible parents. Some of you were lousy kids. Some of you dishonored your
06:38parents. Some of you got into sexual perversion, drugs, sex, rock and roll. Some of you became addicts.
06:49Some of you were criminals. Some of you were criminals. Some of you were murderers, rapists, pedophiles.
06:59Some of you were all these things. No, you weren't.
07:08No, you weren't, friends. You have been declared by God to be not guilty. You are not guilty.
07:21You did not do that. You didn't do it.
07:35Your faith wiped it out.
07:40Faith is the Greek word pistos. As you know, I've taught on it numerous times over the years.
07:44Pistos means to believe without unbelief and without doubting. Pure pistos has zero unbelief
07:52and zero doubt mixed in with it. If your faith has doubt mixed in, if your faith has unbelief
08:00mixed in, it cancels out your faith. Your faith doesn't cancel out your doubt. Your doubt cancels out your faith.
08:10So pure pistos or pure faith is the goal of your life. With that, you get all your prayers answered.
08:19Therefore, being declared not guilty through pure faith, we have peace with God.
08:30Through the Lord Jesus Christ. That's verse 1. Awesome.
08:36And verse 2.
08:38By whom, by whom, Greek word dia, through, Jesus Christ, through Jesus Christ,
08:48we have access by pistos, faith, pure pistos, without doubting and without unbelief, pure pistos,
08:58we have access to God, into this grace where we stand and rejoice
