00:01:28THEM DO THAT.
00:01:28IN A CERTAIN WAY, IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE THEY'VE ABANDONED THE STATE.
00:01:32IT LOOKS VERY BAD.
00:01:33YEAH, GO AHEAD, PLEASE.
00:01:34SHOULD THE FBI GET INVOLVED?
00:01:36WELL, THEY MAY HAVE TO.
00:01:37THEY MAY HAVE TO.
00:01:38NO, I KNOW THEY WANT HIM BACK.
00:01:39NOT ONLY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE GOVERNOR WANTS HIM BACK.
00:01:43YOU CAN'T JUST SIT IT OUT.
00:01:44YOU HAVE TO GO BACK.
00:01:45YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT OUT.
00:01:46THAT'S WHAT ELECTIONS ARE ALL ABOUT.
00:01:48AND FORMER PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA WEIGHING IN ON X, POSTING, WE CAN'T LOSE FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS
00:01:55RIGHT NOW.
00:01:56REPUBLICANS IN TEXAS ARE TRYING TO GERRYMANDER DISTRICT LINES TO UNFAIRLY WIN FIVE SEATS IN NEXT YEAR'S
00:02:01MIDTERM ELECTIONS.
00:02:02THIS IS A POWER GRAB THAT UNDERMINES OUR DEMOCRACY.
00:02:05THE CURRENT TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL AND U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE IN TEXAS SPOKE TO SEAN HANNITY LAST NIGHT.
00:02:12REALLY VERY LIMITED OPTIONS.
00:02:14ONE IS TO WAIT, WHICH SEVERAL GOVERNORS HAVE DONE AND JUST WAITED THEM OUT BECAUSE EVENTUALLY THEY HAVE TO COME HOME.
00:02:19OR TWO, THIS CORE WENTRO MOTION THAT ARE FILING THAT HAS BEEN DONE BY ABBOTT.
00:02:25WE'RE GOING TO FILE SOMETHING VERY SIMILAR FOR MORE OF THE LEGISLATORS TO TAKE THEM OUT OF THEIR OFFICE, REMOVE THEM FROM
00:02:30OFFICE SINCE THEY ARE NOT SHOWING UP TO DO THEIR JOB.
00:02:33SOME REPUBLICANS ARE POINTING TO STATES LIKE MASSACHUSETTS AND CONNECTICUT WITH 35 AND 38 PERCENT OF THE REPUBLICAN VOTE AND ZERO SEATS IN CONGRESS.
00:02:41AS PROOF, OTHER STATES DO THIS TOO.
00:02:44TO YOUR POINT ON CONNECTICUT, I'VE LITERALLY LIVED THERE SINCE 2012.
00:02:48NOT ONE REPUBLICAN FEDERAL OFFICE HOLDER IN THE ENTIRE STATE.
00:02:52I CHOSE THE STATE FOR A REASON, TELL.
00:02:54HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.
00:02:55THAT MAN'S A RESEARCHER.
00:02:56LUCAS, THANK YOU.
00:02:57VERY GOOD.
00:02:58INDIANA WILL BE GETTING THEIR OWN VERSION OF ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ CALLED THE SPEEDWAY SLAMMER.
00:03:04THEY LOVE THE ALLITERATION OVER THERE AT DHS.
00:03:07THE DETENTION CENTER IS SET TO EXPAND ICE DETENTION SPACE BY 1,000 BEDS.
00:03:11IT'S GOING TO BE LOCATED AT A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY BETWEEN INDIANAPOLIS AND FORT WAYNE.
00:03:15DHS SECRETARY CHRISTINE NOEM SAYS THE FACILITY WILL HELP FILTER OUT THE WORST OF THE WORST, POSTING, QUOTE,
00:03:22IF YOU ARE IN AMERICA ILLEGALLY, YOU COULD FIND YOURSELF IN INDIANA'S SPEEDWAY SLAMMER.
00:03:27AVOID ARREST AND SELF-DEPORT NOW USING THE CBP HOME APP.
00:03:30NOEM'S GOING TO BE JOINING FOX AND FRIENDS LATER THIS MORNING.
00:03:34MEANTIME, THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE NAMING 35 SANCTUARY JURISDICTIONS ACROSS THE U.S.
00:03:38THAT THEY CLAIM, QUOTE, PUT AMERICAN CITIZENS AT RISK.
00:03:41THE LIST INCLUDES STATES LIKE NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA, AS WELL AS PHILADELPHIA AND OTHER MAJOR CITIES.
00:03:47THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION WARNING IT IS PREPARED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION.
00:03:51ATTORNEY GENERAL PAM BONNIE SAYING, QUOTE,
00:03:53THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE WILL CONTINUE BRINGING LITIGATION AGAINST SANCTUARY JURISDICTIONS
00:03:58AND WORK CLOSELY WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY TO ERADICATE THESE HARMFUL POLICIES AROUND THE COUNTRY.
00:04:04ALL RIGHT, BRAND NEW OVERNIGHT THE MOM-DOMMY EFFECT HITS SEATTLE AS THEIR INCUMBENT
00:04:09DEMOCRAT MAYOR IS ON THE VERGE OF LOSING TO A FAR LEFT CHALLENGER IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION THERE.
00:04:14PROGRESSIVE KATIE WILSON LEADS BY NEARLY 1,300 VOTES AGAINST INCUMBENT BRUCE HAROLD
00:04:20AND THE TWO ARE EXPECTED TO NOW ADVANCE TO THE GENERAL ELECTION IN NOVEMBER.
00:04:25VOTERS STAND WITH OUR VISION OF SEATTLE'S FUTURE.
00:04:29A CITY WITH SOCIAL HOUSING.
00:04:31A CITY WITH FAST, RELIABLE PUBLIC TRANSIT.
00:04:36A CITY WITH GENERAL CHILD CARE.
00:04:39THESE RESULTS ALSO SHOW US WHAT WE ALL SEE WITH OUR OWN EYES.
00:04:44BRUCE HAROLD IS DOING A BAD JOB.
00:04:47SEATTLE RADIO HOUSE ARRI HOFFMAN JOINS ME NOW.
00:04:50ARRI, GOOD MORNING TO YOU.
00:04:51SO TELL US WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN SEATTLE.
00:04:54HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THESE TWO CANDIDATES?
00:04:57WELL, WHAT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IS FOR YEARS YOU'VE HAD THE LEFT AND THE FAR LEFT RUNNING FOR
00:05:02OFFICE IN SEATTLE.
00:05:03BRUCE HAROLD IS NO MODERATE.
00:05:05HE'S ALSO NOW TRYING TO COPY THE PROGRESSIVES BECAUSE HE WAS WORRIED ABOUT LOSING TO A PROGRESSIVE.
00:05:10SO HE'S TRYING TO BE AS PROGRESSIVE AS POSSIBLE.
00:05:13AS A RESULT, HE LOST A LOT OF MODERATE SUPPORT.
00:05:15HE LOST A LOT OF REPUBLICAN SUPPORT.
00:05:17AND A LOT OF PEOPLE JUST THREW THEIR HANDS UP IN THE AIR AND SAID THERE IS NOBODY TO VOTE FOR IN THIS ELECTION.
00:05:22BECAUSE WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE A PROGRESSIVE OR A MODERATE WHO IS PRETENDING TO BE A PROGRESSIVE IN ORDER TO GET ELECTED?
00:05:28YOU TOP THAT OFF WITH THE FACT THAT BRUCE HAROLD HAS BEEN A COLOSSAL FAILURE THIS ENTIRE TIME.
00:05:35BUT ALSO NOW YOU HAVE THE MOMDANI EFFECT.
00:05:37WHICH IS YOU HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE SAYING, YOU KNOW, WE DON'T HAVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING HERE.
00:05:40PRICES HAVE ONLY GONE UP.
00:05:41HOMELESSNESS HAS GOTTEN WORSE AND WORSE.
00:05:43KATIE WILSON IS MAKING ALL THESE PROMISES LIKE THAT KID WHO RUNS FOR CLASS PRESIDENT WHO PROMISES EVERYBODY FREE RECESS.
00:05:50SHE CAN'T DELIVER ON ANY OF THESE PROMISES.
00:05:53BUT JUST LIKE THAT KID WHO A LOT OF KIDS I'M SURE IN YOUR CLASS VOTED FOR.
00:05:57A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR KATIE WILSON.
00:05:59OKAY, SO LET'S FOCUS ON HER.
00:06:00SHE IS THE PROGRESSIVE CANDIDATE OF THE MORE PROGRESSIVE OUT OF THE TWO.
00:06:03THERE IS AN OP-ED OUT OF THE URBANIST.
00:06:05IT SAYS THE SIMILARITIES ARE NUMEROUS BETWEEN WILSON AND MOMDANI.
00:06:09BOTH ARE YOUNG, STRIDENTLY
00:06:11PROGRESSIVE, AND REVILED BY THE
00:06:13POLITICAL ELITES IN THEIR CITY.
00:06:15BOTH FOUGHT TO LOWER THE COST OF
00:06:17HOUSING AND TRANSIT WHILE THE
00:06:19ESTABLISHMENT DRAGGED ITS FEET.
00:06:21BOTH FACE GIANTS OF THE
00:06:23DEMOCRATIC CENTRIST
00:06:24ESTABLISHMENT.
00:06:25KATIE HAS BUILT THE MOVEMENT AND
00:06:27THE POLICIES FOR A NEW UPSET, A
00:06:29QUIET REVOLUTION, A NEW CHAPTER
00:06:31FOR BUILDING OUR COMMONWEALTH.
00:06:33CLEARLY THIS PUBLICATION LIKES
00:06:35KATIE WILSON.
00:06:36BUT THEY DO POINT OUT THAT
00:06:38DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES.
00:06:39I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE
00:06:40DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES.
00:06:41THANK YOU FOR SEATTLE AND
00:06:43WASHINGTON STATE AND NEW YORK
00:06:44CITY, THERE ARE PROGRESSIVE
00:06:45CANDIDATES THAT ARE ON THE RISE.
00:06:47SO WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THE
00:06:48DEMOCRATIC PARTY?
00:06:49WOULD YOU CONSIDER THIS A
00:06:50TREND?
00:06:51SEATTLE HAS BEEN THIS WAY FOR
00:06:53A LONG, LONG TIME.
00:06:54SO I'D ACTUALLY SAY THAT MAMDANI
00:06:56AND OTHER PEOPLE ACROSS THE
00:06:57COUNTRY ARE FOLLOWING THE SAME
00:06:58LEAD PROGRESSIVES HAVE BEEN DOING
00:06:59IN SEATTLE FOR YEARS.
00:07:00BUT WHAT'S HAPPENING ACROSS THE
00:07:08COUNTRY IS GOING TO SEE ALL
00:07:11THESE DEMOCRATS ENDORSING MAMDANI,
00:07:12SUPPORTING MAMDANI LIKE YOU'VE
00:07:13ALREADY SEEN WITH PEOPLE LIKE
00:07:14CHUCK SCHUMER.
00:07:15YOU'VE SEEN MORE MAMDANI LIKE
00:07:17YOU'VE SEEN WITH THAT GUY WHO'S
00:07:18RUNNING FOR MAYOR IN MINNESOTA.
00:07:19YOU'VE SEEN A LOT MORE OF THEM
00:07:21COPYING HIM ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
00:07:22AND IN DEEP BLUE CITIES AND DEEP
00:07:24BLUE COUNTIES AND DEEP BLUE
00:07:26STATES, THEY ARE GOING TO WIN.
00:07:28YOU'VE SEEN BLUE STATES, BLUE
00:07:30CITIES, BLUE COUNTIES GET DARKER
00:07:32AND BECOME MORE SOCIALIST.
00:07:34YOU HAVE THE SOCIALIST PARTY
00:07:36INSTEAD OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY.
00:07:37THAT'S WHY THIS ISN'T JUST A
00:07:39SEATTLE OR NEW YORK CITY STORY.
00:07:40THIS COULD BE A STORY FOR THE
00:07:41WHOLE COUNTRY.
00:07:42THERE'S ALSO THE QUESTION ABOUT
00:07:44THE LEADER OF THE DEMOCRATIC
00:07:45PARTY RIGHT NOW.
00:07:46I THINK IT'S SOMETHING THAT
00:07:47REPUBLICANS LIKE TO FOCUS ON
00:07:48BECAUSE THERE IS SUCH A CLEAR
00:07:49LEADER WITHIN THE REPUBLICAN
00:07:50PARTY, BUT DEMOCRATS USED TO
00:07:51HAVE THAT WITH BARACK OBAMA.
00:07:53BILL CLINTON WAS A FORMATIVE
00:07:54LEADER.
00:07:55IT'S A QUESTION THAT KAMALA HARRIS
00:07:57COULDN'T EVEN ANSWER.
00:07:58WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?
00:08:00I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE ONE
00:08:01RIGHT NOW, BUT I THINK THEY
00:08:02HAVE POSTER CHILDREN.
00:08:03FOR EXAMPLE, MOMDANI IS THE
00:08:04POSTER CHILD OF THE DEMOCRAT
00:08:05PARTY.
00:08:06EVERYBODY IS TRYING TO COPY HIS
00:08:07EXAMPLE.
00:08:08IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WHO IS
00:08:09ACTUALLY LEADING THE DEMOCRAT
00:08:10PARTY, YOU ARE LOOKING AT
00:08:11PEOPLE LIKE BERNIE SANDERS.
00:08:12YOU ARE LOOKING AT PEOPLE LIKE
00:08:13AOC, WHO NOW THEIR VISION IS
00:08:14BEING COPYED ACROSS THE
00:08:15COUNTRY.
00:08:16THIS IS RIGHT OUT OF THE SQUAD
00:08:17PLAYBOOK.
00:08:18YOU MIGHT THINK BERNIE SANDERS
00:08:20ACTUALLY LOST IN THE PRIMARY IN
00:08:212016, BUT IT'S HIS VISION THAT
00:08:23HAS TAKEN OVER THE DEMOCRAT PARTY
00:08:25AND IS BEING COPYED ACROSS THE
00:08:26COUNTRY.
00:08:27IN FACT, IT'S MORE RADICAL THAN
00:08:28THAT.
00:08:29THAT SEEMS TO BE THE ENTIRE
00:08:31DEMOCRAT MANTRA RIGHT NOW, WHICH
00:08:33IS MORE SOCIALIST COMMUNIST THAN
00:08:35WHAT PEOPLE MIGHT RECOGNIZE AS
00:08:37THE OLD-SCHOOL JFK DEMOCRATS.
00:08:38ALL RIGHT.
00:08:39SO THE ELECTION FOR THE
00:08:41SEATTLE MAYOR IS NOVEMBER 4TH.
00:08:43WE WILL SEE IF CONSTITUENTS
00:08:45THINK ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE MIGHT
00:08:46SEE IF CONSTITUENTS THERE CHOOSE
00:08:49FAR LEFT OR SUPER FAR LEFT.
00:08:51SEATTLE RADIO HOST ARRI HOFFMAN,
00:08:53WE APPRECIATE IT.
00:08:54PLEASURE TO BE HERE.
00:08:56ALL RIGHT.
00:08:57PRESIDENT TRUMP CALLING OUT BIG
00:08:58BANKS FOR ALLEGEDLY TARGETING
00:08:59CONSERVATIVES AND NOW HE IS
00:09:01PREPARING AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO
00:09:02STOP POLITICAL BELIEFS GETTING
00:09:04IN THE WAY OF PEOPLE GETTING
00:09:05THEIR MONEY.
00:09:06SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA TO ME.

00:16:41HIS BROTHER ELI ADDRESSED THE UNITED NATION SECURITY COUNCIL YESTERDAY,
00:16:45CALLING FOR ACTION TO SAVE ALL THE REMAINING HOSTAGES.
00:16:48ELI WILL JOIN FOX AND FRIENDS LATER THIS MORNING.
00:16:52PRESIDENT TRUMP MEANTIME COULD SIGN AN EXECUTIVE ORDER AS EARLY AS THIS WEEK
00:16:56TO PUNISH BANKS THAT ALLEGEDLY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CONSERVATIVES,
00:17:00SOMETHING TRUMP SAYS HE EXPERIENCED HIMSELF.
00:17:03LISTEN.
00:17:04J.P. MORGAN CHASE, I HAD HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN CASH,
00:17:08AND THEY TOLD ME, I'M SORRY, SIR, WE CAN'T HAVE YOU.
00:17:12YOU HAVE 20 DAYS TO GET OUT.
00:17:14I SAID, YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING.
00:17:15I'VE BEEN WITH YOU FOR 35, 40 YEARS.
00:17:18I CALL UP BANK OF AMERICA ROUTINELY.
00:17:20AND WHEN I CALLED HIM AFTER I WAS PRESIDENT,
00:17:23TO DEPOSIT A BILLION DOLLARS PLUS AND A LOT OF OTHER THINGS,
00:17:27MORE IMPORTANTLY TO OPEN ACCOUNTS, WHICH BANKS ALWAYS LIKE,
00:17:30HE SAID WE CAN'T DO IT.
00:17:32SAM BROWNBACK, FORMER SENATOR AND GOVERNOR FROM THE GREAT STATE OF KANSAS,
00:17:36HE FOUNDED A NONPROFIT THAT HAD ITS ACCOUNT CLOSED BY J.P. MORGAN CHASE
00:17:40JUST THREE WEEKS AFTER OPENING IT, AND HE JOINS US NOW.
00:17:44GOVERNOR, GREAT TO HAVE YOU ON THE PROGRAM.
00:17:46HOW DESPERATELY NEEDED IS THIS MOVE BY THE PRESIDENT TO PREVENT DEBANKING?
00:17:52IT IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, AND YOU KNOW WHO NEEDS IT THE MOST ARE THE BANKS.
00:17:57THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO BEING BANKS AND NOT BEING MANIPULATED TO BE SOCIAL CHANGE AGENTS
00:18:02OR TO FAVOR ONE GROUP OR TO BE REALLY POLITICAL ENTITIES.
00:18:06THEY NEED TO BE COMMERCIAL ENTITIES.
00:18:08THEY NEED TO BE BANKS AND NOT THESE AGENTS OF CHANGE.
00:18:11AND UNFORTUNATELY, THAT'S WHAT TOO MANY OF THEM HAVE BEEN MANIPULATED AND MOVED INTO DOING.
00:18:15IN RESPONSE TO TRUMP'S ACCUSATIONS, JPMORGAN CHASE SAID THE FOLLOWING, QUOTE,
00:18:20WE DON'T CLOSE ACCOUNTS FOR POLITICAL REASONS AND WE AGREE WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP THAT
00:18:27REGULATORY CHANGE IS DESPERATELY NEEDED.
00:18:28WE COMMEND THE WHITE HOUSE FOR ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE AND LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH THEM TO GET THIS
00:18:33RIGHT, NOT EXACTLY DENYING IT, IN FACT, KIND OF AGREEING WITH WHAT YOU SAID TO AN EXTENT
00:18:40AND USING THAT CATCH-ALL PHRASE, NOT FOR POLITICAL REASONS.
00:18:44IS THAT SIMILAR TO THE EXCUSE THAT THEY GAVE YOU WHEN THEY BASICALLY CLOSED THE ACCOUNT OF YOUR RELIGIOUS NONPROFIT?
00:18:53NO, THEY GAVE ME FIVE DIFFERENT REASONS AT DIFFERENT TIMES.
00:18:57YOU CAN RANGE FROM, YOU KNOW, MONEY LAUNDERING TO YOU'RE IN A POLITICALLY EXPOSED FIGURE.
00:19:03AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, I STILL DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CLOSE THE ACCOUNT.
00:19:07AND I THINK THEY OUGHT TO LOOK WITHIN THEIR OWN SYSTEM AND ASK WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?
00:19:12AND LET'S PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE.
00:19:15WE WANT TO BE A BANK THAT SERVES EVERYBODY.
00:19:18WE DON'T WANT TO BE MANIPULATED BY REGULATORS, WHICH I THINK THEY ARE ACCURATE ON THAT POINT.
00:19:23WE'VE REALLY GOT TO BACK THE REGULATORS OUT OF BEING USED AND USING COMMERCIAL ENTITIES
00:19:28FOR REALLY POLITICAL POINTS AND POLITICAL PURPOSES.
00:19:32TO THAT POINT, I'M GOING TO GET TO THAT.
00:19:34BUT FIRST, I WANT TO HEAR WHAT THE BANK OF AMERICA'S CEO SAID IN RESPONSE TO TRUMP'S ALLEGATIONS.
00:19:39HERE'S BRIAN MORNINGHAM.
00:19:40THE PRESIDENT IS AFTER THE RIGHT THING, WHICH IS THE LAWS, RULES, AND REGULATIONS AROUND OUR
00:19:45INDUSTRY BECAME USED TO CAUSE THINGS TO HAPPEN.
00:19:49WE'VE GOT TO STOP THE REGULATORS BEHIND THE SCENES OF WHIPSAWING BACK AND FORTH AND FORCING
00:19:54OUR COMPANIES AND COMPANIES LIKE OURS TO MAKE DECISIONS WHICH CONGRESS HASN'T PASSED ON
00:19:59OR HE HASN'T PASSED ON.
00:20:00OKAY.
00:20:01TO YOUR POINT AND TO BRIAN'S POINT, OUR OWN CHARLIE GASPERINO REPORTING THAT J.P.
00:20:04MORGAN AND BANK OF AMERICA DEBANKED TRUMP OVER JANUARY 6TH BECAUSE OF THREATS FROM BIDEN'S
00:20:11BANK REGULATORS AND HIS FEDERAL RESERVE.
00:20:14I WAS TOLD THE FEDERAL RESERVE WAS NONPARTISAN, BUT I DIGRESS.
00:20:18AN EXECUTIVE AT J.P. MORGAN TELLING GASPERINO THAT REGULATORS PUT THE FEAR OF GOD IN YOU
00:20:23IF YOU DID BUSINESS WITH CONSERVATIVES LIKE TRUMP.
00:20:26YOUR REACTION, GOVERNOR?
00:20:29I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED.
00:20:32I THINK THIS IS A COMPLETE MISUSE OF REGULATION.
00:20:35I THINK THIS IS THE USE OF REGULATION TO TRY TO ACCOMPLISH THINGS THROUGH A BUSINESS THAT
00:20:40YOU COULDN'T GET ACCOMPLISHED OR PASSED THROUGH THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS.
00:20:44IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THESE CHANGES, TAKE THEM INTO CONGRESS.
00:20:47DON'T MAKE IT, DON'T BANK IT IN THROUGH A BANK.
00:20:50AND A BIGGER PICTURE IS REALLY THIS EFFORT TO SUFFOCATE INDUSTRIES AND GROUPS AND
00:20:56IDEOLOGIES THAT YOU DON'T LIKE THROUGH THE COMMERCIAL SYSTEM.
00:20:59THAT'S NOT WHAT THE COMMERCIAL SYSTEM IS ABOUT.
00:21:01THE COMMERCIAL SYSTEM IS ABOUT BEING A GREAT BANK.
00:21:04IT'S ABOUT BEING AN INSURANCE COMPANY.
00:21:06IT'S NOT ABOUT TRYING TO BE THIS AND USE IT AS A SOCIAL CHANGE AGENT.
00:21:11WE REALLY HAVE GOT TO BACK THESE REGULATORS OUT OF THIS.
00:21:14AND THERE NEEDS TO BE STATUTORY CHANGES, NOT JUST THE EXECUTIVE ORDERS.
00:21:18THOSE CAN BE CHANGED BY FUTURE PRESIDENT.
00:21:20THERE NEEDS TO BE STATUTORY CHANGES, PARTICULARLY OF DISCLOSURE AS TO WHY THESE
00:21:25ACCOUNTS ARE CLOSED.
00:21:27WELL, REPUBLICANS HAVE CONGRESS RIGHT NOW.
00:21:29LET'S SEE IF THEY CAN DO SOMETHING WITH IT TO DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU AND QUITE FRANKLY,
00:21:32BRIAN MOINAHAN SAID IT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
00:21:34IT NEEDS TO BE CODIFIED BY CONGRESS.
00:21:36LET'S SEE IF THEY GET IT DONE.
00:21:37SAM BROWNBACK, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME.
00:21:39WE APPRECIATE IT.
00:21:40YOU'RE ABLE. THANKS.
00:21:41ALL RIGHT.
00:21:42SENIOR METEOROLOGIST JANICE DEAN HERE WITH OUR FOX WEATHER FORECAST.
00:21:44J.D.
00:21:45LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT IT.
00:21:46GOOD MORNING.
00:21:47TALKING ABOUT THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE JUST OFF THE COAST OF THE SOUTHEAST.
00:21:54DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO DEVELOP BUT WE NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT AND SOME OF THAT MOISTURE WORKING ITS WAY IN TO THE SOUTHEAST.
00:21:58HERE'S THE SETUP.
00:21:59SO WE HAVE HIGH PRESSURE THAT'S GOING TO BUILD ACROSS THE ATLANTIC AND THEN THIS TROUGH THAT JUST LINGERS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
00:22:05of that moisture continues to move into the southeast, the mid-Atlantic, and this is the
00:22:10situation as we go through the next few days. Already over eight inches of rainfall since
00:22:16Friday for South Carolina. Georgia getting in there at over seven inches of rain and more rain
00:22:21in the forecast as we go through Thursday into the weekend as well. So that's the setup. We do
00:22:27have the potential for showers and thunderstorms for parts of the east coast, the upper Midwest,
00:22:32and then the southwest will get a little bit of rain as well. We are concerned with smoke from
00:22:38Canadian wildfires. We have unhealthy to very unhealthy in some of these areas for parts of
00:22:44the Great Lakes in towards the northeast because of that smoke and the trajectory of bringing that
00:22:49smoke southward from all the wildfires in Canada. There is what we're looking at. So if you're
00:22:54susceptible and you're outside to all of these particulates and the smoke, you need to take
00:22:58particular precautions. Now look at all the wildfires that are burning in Canada. We do have
00:23:03rain through Sunday for a lot of these regions, which should help the situation, but still we'll
00:23:10have to monitor this summer over the next few weeks. And then we have wildfires burning across
00:23:15the west. That's a big story for California and the southwest, especially for the Gifford
00:23:20Fire here. Still only 9% containment. It's been burning for several days and we have fire weather
00:23:26alerts for a lot of these regions and the smoke as well. Need to watch a lot, J.D. Absolutely.
00:23:31Thank you. Of course. Appreciate it. President Trump just revealing who he thinks is the favorite
00:23:36right now to carry on. There's more alliteration in this show. You ready? The MAGA mantle. I like
00:23:41it. Is it the man on the left or the man on the right? We'll hear the president's thoughts on this
00:23:45coming up. Next. If you're living with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis or active psoriatic arthritis,

00:25:11powerful collection agency on earth. And being in debt to the IRS can have serious consequences.
00:25:18Oftentimes, it begins with the IRS sending you a collection letter, but then escalates and
00:25:23before you know it, you're having your paychecks garnished, your bank account seized, even your
00:25:27home or business could be at risk. My problem was I hadn't paid my taxes in eight years. I was trying
00:25:33to take on the IRS by myself. I have five children. I'm trying to take care of my kids. It was a lot of
00:25:39stress. I owed the IRS over $10,000. They told me the possibilities of garnishing my wages to resolve
00:25:48this debt that I owed them. I owed a lot of money to the IRS. Almost $15,000. There was nothing I could do
00:25:55about it. I was just overwhelmed at what to do. These stories are all too common. But thankfully,

00:29:01The man accused of killing four people and abandoning a baby has been arrested after an extensive manhunt in Tennessee.
00:29:1028-year-old Austin Drummond caught in a wooded area after being spotted by residents yesterday.
00:29:15Authorities say they recovered a couple of firearms but did not say whether they were used in the killings.
00:29:20Drummond facing multiple charges, including four counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated kidnapping.
00:29:27He's set to be arraigned tomorrow morning.
00:29:29Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard says that the DOJ is asking for more documents connected to the Obama administration and the Russia conspiracy probe.
00:29:38I met with the Department of Justice prosecutors today and, yes, they are committed to leaving no stone unturned as they conduct this grand jury investigation and find the truth.
00:29:51Obviously, we've already handed over the documents that we've declassified and released publicly over the last few weeks.
00:29:58President Trump says he's not involved with the investigation but is, quote, happy to hear about it.
00:30:03A warning here.
00:30:04The image we're about to show next is graphic.
00:30:08President Trump threatening a federal takeover of Washington, D.C. after a former DOJ employee was allegedly beaten in the nation's capital.
00:30:17Sources telling Fox News Digital he was attacked while trying to help a woman who was being assaulted.
00:30:22The president writing on Truth Social, perhaps it should have been done a long time ago.
00:30:27Then this incredible young man and so many others would not have had to go through the horrors of violent crime.
00:30:34If this continues, I am going to exert my powers and federalize this city.
00:30:39And former DOJ head Elon Musk agrees after the attack on his former co-worker saying a DOJ team member saw what was happening, ran to defend her, and was severely beaten to the point of a concussion.
00:30:51But he saved her.
00:30:52It is time to federalize D.C.
00:30:56Socialist in New York City mayoral candidate Zoran Mamdami preaching at a church over the weekend that's led by a pastor with a history of controversial statements on race and anti-Israel ties.
00:31:07Mamdami speaking for over 10 minutes, criticizing the Trump administration.
00:31:12This is a dark moment to be a stranger in our city, to be a stranger in our country.
00:31:18An authoritarian government in Washington, D.C. is dispatching masked agents to abduct immigrants from our streets.
00:31:26That is not justice.
00:31:28It is cruelty.
00:31:30Mamdami then went on to target affordability in New York City,
00:31:33pushing ideas like increasing taxes and government-run grocery stores.
00:31:38We have heard it before.
00:31:38We're going to hear it again.
00:31:39A lot.
00:31:40President Trump commenting on who he thinks will secure the GOP nomination in 2028.
00:31:44I am all ears.
00:31:45Who?
00:31:46You could clear the entire Republican field right now.
00:31:50Do you agree that the heir apparent to MAGA is J.D. Vance?
00:31:55Well, I think most likely, in all fairness, he's the vice president.
00:31:58I think Marco is also somebody that maybe would get together with J.D. in some form.
00:32:04It's too early, obviously, to talk about it, but certainly he's doing a great job and he would be probably favored.
00:32:11Last month, Rubio dismissed speculation that he could be the Republican Party's next nominee.
00:32:15Instead, he threw support behind J.D. Vance.
00:32:18Vance has not officially said whether or not he will run in the next race in three years from now, but there you have it.
00:32:25A little shocked that Thomas Massey's name wasn't.
00:32:29Right?
00:32:30Ram Paul.
00:32:31All right.
00:32:32The DNC chair promises that his party is not going to roll over in the Texas redistricting fight.
00:32:37Listen here.
00:32:39I've been saying to these Texas Republicans, if you want a showdown, well, you're going to get a showdown.
00:32:44This is not the Democratic Party of your grandfather, which would bring a pencil to the knife fight.
00:32:50This is a new Democratic Party.
00:32:52We're bringing a knife to a knife fight, and we are going to fight fire with fire.
00:32:57Fox News contributor and senior writer for The Washington Examiner, Joe Concha, joins us out.
00:33:01Joe, we've had discussions as to what the heck they meant.
00:33:04Did they mean gun to a knife fight?
00:33:05Carly thinks they—
00:33:06Well, I thought it was like an anti-Second Amendment stance when I first heard that.
00:33:09Am I the only one?
00:33:10It's a phrase that nobody has ever used before.
00:33:13I have a completely different take.
00:33:15In this era of heightened political violence, should we be talking about fighting with knives?
00:33:21Right.
00:33:23You would never know that President Trump, Todd Carly, was nearly assassinated a year ago in July and September of last year.
00:33:32This sophomore year rhetoric, this sophomore year rhetoric, it's the only way I could basically, you know, describe it, is meant to go viral on social media, I guess, which is not the real world.
00:33:41And then legacy media, whether you're talking about CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, they amplify it for cheap clicks and retweets.
00:33:52Yeah, knife to a knife fight.
00:33:53I'm pretty sure he meant to say gun to a knife fight, but I guess, you know, who knows what Ken Martin was about to say there as the DNC chair.
00:34:01And I ask this one question over and over again, but it bears repeating.
00:34:05Besides resisting Trump, what are Democrats offering in terms of policy, in terms of solution?
00:34:12Because no one has yet to hear it.
00:34:15And that's why, you know, sunburn and hangovers are more popular than the Democratic Party right now.
00:34:21It's all talk, no solutions.
00:34:23It's sound and fury, Carly, signifying nothing.
00:34:26Yeah, but when you have a sunburn and a hangover on the same day, you know you had a good night before, right?
00:34:30Or a good day before, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:34:32Well, very good point.
00:34:33All right, so Texas Senator John Cornyn, he's pushing for the FBI to help bring the Texas Democrats back.
00:34:39He says the FBI has tools to aid state law enforcement when parties cross state lines, including to avoid testifying or fleeing a scene of a crime.
00:34:50Is this the road Republicans should go down?
00:34:55Well, I would hope not, because we saw this in 2021, Carly,
00:34:59when this happened also in Texas, and then Democrats fled.
00:35:05They had these horrible social media photos and videos showing them having a good time.
00:35:13There was a case of beer of one point, just to go back to the sunburn and hangovers, in the photo.
00:35:19And other times they're just eating at these nice restaurants.
00:35:21I'm sorry, Democrats have done this over and over again in terms of redistricting parts of their state in Illinois, in Massachusetts, in New York, in California.
00:35:34We can go on.
00:35:35This is the way things work.
00:35:37And yet this is what they're doing.
00:35:39Again, resistance and then doing these things is not going to have any real impact on the American people.
00:35:46But I guess here's what's going to happen.
00:35:48Every state now, I suppose, is going to now redistrict.
00:35:51Like, California will redistrict again, and then we're going to see Florida do it, and then we're going to see New York do it,
00:35:57and we're going to see all these red states do it, blue states do it.
00:36:00And it's just, it's a back and forth thing that the American people don't want.
00:36:05They just want things decided at the ballot box.
00:36:07But this is the road that everybody's going down now at this point, I guess.
00:36:12But I do think it is, to Carly's point, an open question of whether America would like to see these individuals arrested.
00:36:17I'm sure a huge segment would not.
00:36:19I think MAGA would like to see them arrested, but we will see if that ultimately happens.
00:36:23Political theater at its finest.
00:36:24Quickly, before we let you go, comedian Michael Rappaport says his Alabama comedy show was canceled due to his support of Israel.
00:36:30I guess my question to you, Joe, we're still doing this?
00:36:34Yeah, apparently.
00:36:35I mean, that's amazing.
00:36:36And by the way, you know, again, Michael Rappaport has been very, very staunch in terms of his support for Israel, obviously.
00:36:46You know, he saw what happened on October 7th, and just, it's amazing.
00:36:51The biggest attack, the worst attack, the most horrific attack on Jews since World War II,
00:36:57and this guy supports, you know, obviously Israel in terms of its defense, and now he can't do a comedy show.
00:37:05It's a whole ball of wrong.
00:37:06I thought this stuff was over in the Trump era, but apparently it's not.
00:37:10We're talking about it now.
00:37:11I have a feeling he's going to get many other opportunities to do comedy as a result of this,
00:37:17because this is not what you do.
00:37:19We need more speech, not less speech at this point in time.
00:37:22Yeah, yeah.
00:37:22On one side of the screen, you have Michael Rappaport saying his comedy show in Alabama was shut down
00:37:26because of his support for Israel on the same day that President Trump confirmed that he saw the video of Eviatar David,
00:37:33who's starving and was shown digging his own grave in Hamas captivity,
00:37:39and his brother Eli will be on Fox & Friends later to talk about that.
00:37:43Joe, thank you so much for joining us.
00:37:44All right, guys.
00:37:46See you soon.
00:37:46Absolutely.
00:37:47All right.

00:37:54Cheryl Cassani, tell us where the most Americans are on the move to.
00:37:58If you could ask them a question, what would you want to know?
00:38:22What was life like back then?
00:38:25When did you know she was the one?
00:38:28Or how are we all connected?

00:43:01Realtor.com releasing their list of the hottest zip codes in the U.S. where homes are flying off the market, and it looks like the northeast suburbs took the top spot.
00:43:11Just to be clear, they're not actually flying.
00:43:13They're just being purchased a lot.
00:43:14Here to break it down for us is Fox Business host Cheryl Kassoni.
00:43:17Cheryl, this has nothing to do with tornadoes.
00:43:19This has everything to do with purchasing.
00:43:20You could say flying when you look at this.
00:43:23So Realtor.com, they do this every year, and it's the 10 hottest markets.
00:43:27And, you know, the markets, the cities change.
00:43:29But what's interesting is, you know, it looks at, okay, where is the most traffic going to?
00:43:33How many unique visitors hit these markets and looking for homes in these markets?
00:43:38But then also how fast they're on the market and how fast they're off the market, right?
00:43:43And they're flying.
00:43:44It's like 16 days.
00:43:45So the number one is Beverly, Massachusetts.
00:43:48It's 30 minutes from Boston.
00:43:50You've got a train, coastal living.
00:43:53The median listing price, not cheap, but $746,000, 16 days on the market, and 4.2 times more views than the U.S. average.
00:44:01And, look, the average down payment for all of these cities, and we can start to go through them, anywhere from $42,000 to $143,000.
00:44:09Marlton, New Jersey is number two, $495,000, 17 days on the market.
00:44:15Leo Minster, Massachusetts, Baldwin, Missouri, Wayne, New Jersey.
00:44:19And just to be clear, like number two, Marlton, New Jersey, that's the Philly-Camden area, right?
00:44:26So people are looking, they want to get out of the bigger cities, but they want to be close to the city.
00:44:31What the survey found is that you want a small-town life, but you want access to a city, and you want quality of life, and you want services, right?
00:44:43And that's why, but the other thing, too, is it's still kind of a rough market right now.
00:44:47So listings are still 59% below where we were before the pandemic, okay?
00:44:52So there's still an inventory issue.
00:44:54The other thing that was really interesting, the average buyer right now is 56 years old.
00:45:00This isn't good news.
00:45:01None of this is good news for anybody that's younger looking to buy a house, so I'm sorry.
00:45:04But affordability is key, but they're older, they're wealthier, they've got very strong credit,
00:45:09and they're putting down larger down payments onto these homes, and they're ready to roll.
00:45:15And that has everything to do with interest rates.
00:45:16Yes, and the down payment is to get, yes, to your point, get the monthly buyer, but they're strategic, they're ready, and they're moving fast.
00:45:25They're moving very fast on these purchases.
00:45:27And, again, it kind of makes sense when you're older, you want better quality of life, right?
00:45:35Well, listen, I see you, Beverly, Massachusetts.
00:45:37I'm on Zillow.com right now looking at a $16.5 million, slightly out of my price range, coastal home that is absolutely gorgeous.
00:45:47It would be considered my American dream home.
00:45:50There you go.
00:45:50And guess what?
00:45:51You can watch American dream home.
00:45:54Hosted by our very own Cheryl Cassoni.
00:45:56It's available on Fox Nation right now.
00:45:58A little shocked by Wayne making the list.
00:46:00People must love malls.
00:46:01Yeah, there's a couple Connecticut names I found, too.
00:46:04Just don't miss Cheryl and Mornings with Maria.
00:46:08Mornings with who?
00:46:10Elvis.
00:46:10Elvis will be announcing your show today.
00:46:12Cheryl, thank you so much.
00:46:13Morning with Maria.
00:46:14Is Gen Z reversing the trend toward fully remote work?
00:46:18A new Gallup poll shows only 23% of Gen Z employees prefer working from home full time.
00:46:23That's the lowest of any of the generations on that list.
00:46:26Instead, Gen Zers voted the highest for a hybrid work model, 71%.
00:46:31They're opting for more time in the office.
00:46:34Wow.
00:46:35Gen Z influencer Isabel Brown here to tell us why.
00:46:38Why, Isabel?
00:46:39Why?
00:46:40Can you explain these numbers?
00:46:42They seem weird.
00:46:43Like you would imagine people would want to be at home.
00:46:45They do, especially in this culture where it's constantly being talked about that Gen Z is a
00:46:53lazy generation that we don't like working hard.
00:46:55And we certainly don't have an impetus to be in the office putting in the hours, so to speak.
00:47:01But really, when you think about culturally, the shift that started happening in 2020,
00:47:05young people had our entire lives thrust into the metaverse really against our will.
00:47:10We started dating online, all of our friendships and relationships took place online.
00:47:15Certainly all of our entertainment was digital and work and school were as well.
00:47:20So we instantly were thrust into a disconnected culture where loneliness and mental health problems
00:47:25started to thrive.
00:47:27In our quest to rebuild meaningful connection, I think the easy button and the easiest way to do that
00:47:32is by starting a hybrid work schedule or in-person work so that we can sense that real tangible
00:47:38connection with other people again.
00:47:40And you're starting to see this behavior, not just in the workplace, but we're ditching our
00:47:44dating apps and bringing back in-person speed dating events in big cities all over the country.
00:47:49You're looking at people really wanting to build something with their hands to touch one another
00:47:54and to have that sense of real connection.
00:47:56I think that is an absolutely fascinating take.
00:47:58And I think it's 100% right.
00:48:01And I think it's also borne out by these next numbers.
00:48:0427% of Gen Zers say they feel lonely doing remote work.
00:48:09That is the highest of any generation.
00:48:11Look at the boomers there, 10%, Gen X, 15%.
00:48:15I look at those numbers, Isabel, and I say, as you get older, you have so many people in your lives,
00:48:20decades of family, decades of friends.
00:48:22You have kids that are constantly around you.
00:48:25And it's almost nice to get a little peace and quiet.
00:48:29When everybody goes away, you can be in your house.
00:48:31Whereas the younger generations, to your point in your earlier answer, they want to make those
00:48:36connections.
00:48:37They want that noise.
00:48:38They want that cacophony of being in an office and being around people, Isabel.
00:48:42We do.
00:48:44And it's ironic, because you would think today with technology and social media,
00:48:49you're more connected to other people around you than ever before.
00:48:52With the touch of one button, you can call someone on the other side of the globe.
00:48:56But in reality, I think we've faced this paradox culturally.
00:49:00And it's a question left for our generation to answer.
00:49:02How do we responsibly balance the role of technology and connecting us while also preventing
00:49:07that isolation and loneliness that often is hiding behind a screen?
00:49:12I think this is why you're watching Gen Z, for example, lead the religious resurgence happening
00:49:17in America right now.
00:49:18It's young people that are flooding church pews on Sunday morning and reviving parish communities
00:49:23at Catholic churches across the country and having mass baptism events on our college campuses.
00:49:28That real sense of community with the people around you can never be replaced by an algorithm
00:49:34or a social media feed.
00:49:35And I also think the Gen Zers see where the job market's going with AI, and they know
00:49:39they need those interpersonal connections, because that is what is going to separate them
00:49:44from the robots.
00:49:45And they figured it out because they know technology better than us old folks.
00:49:48Isabel Brown, thank you.
00:49:50Really interesting stuff.
00:49:51Appreciate it.
00:49:52Now let's go to Lawrence Jones with what is coming up on Fox & Friends.
00:49:56LJ, I love coming to the office, seeing you every day, seeing Carly every day, talking
00:50:01about stuff.
00:50:03A lot of us need that human interaction.
00:50:06It makes us who we are.
00:50:07I agree.
00:50:08It's good to see y'all family.
00:50:09Good to see you.
00:50:10So it's hump day.
00:50:11It's Wednesday on Fox & Friends.
00:50:12The Homeland Security Department announcing the next alligator Alcatraz, the Speedway Hammer
00:50:18or Slammer in Indiana.
00:50:21DHS Secretary Kristi Dome will join us live to discuss the plans coming up.
00:50:25And the Sidney Sweeney haters are now going after her dog.
00:50:29I mean, come on.
00:50:30Following the American Eagle gene ad controversy, we'll tell you why.
00:50:35Plus, Steve is live in Granbury, Texas.
00:50:38He'll speak with the mayor and the head of the tourism center to find out why the small
00:50:42town home, just 12,000 people, has been named one of America's best historic small
00:50:50towns.
00:50:50Can you believe that?
00:50:51About 25 minutes from where I stay.
00:50:53All that and more coming up, top of the hour.
00:51:03Slow down.
00:51:06Cut!
00:51:07I get it.
00:51:08Slow slough, slow down geographic atrophy, but we don't need gimmicks.
00:51:12Stick to the facts GA, the advanced form of dry AMD, can irreversibly damage your vision.
00:51:19But Sifovary is an FDA-approved eye injection that gives you the power to slow GA.
00:51:25It's the only treatment to slow GA in as few as six doses per year.
00:51:30Don't take Sifovary if you have an infection or active swelling in or around your eye that
00:51:35may include pain and redness or are allergic to it.
00:51:37Sifovary can cause severe allergic reactions.
00:51:40Other serious side effects are eye infection and retinal detachments, severe inflammation
00:51:43of vessels in the retina, which may result in severe vision loss, wet AMD, eye inflammation,
00:51:48and an increase in eye pressure.
00:51:49Most common side effects are eye discomfort, wet AMD, small specks floating in vision, and
00:51:53blood in the white of the eye.
00:51:54Tell your doctor right away if you have any side effects.
00:51:57Act on facts to slow GA.
00:51:59Ask your retina specialist about Sifovary.
00:52:02If your flow doesn't go like it used to, if it's P o'clock, again, it could be an enlarged
00:52:09prostate blocking the way.
00:52:11The Urolift system is a minimally invasive, non-destructive treatment for men 45 and over
00:52:15that simply lifts the problem out of the way.
00:52:17Ask your urologist about the Urolift system.
00:52:19Most common side effects are temporary and can include discomfort when urinating, urgency,
00:52:22inability to control the urine, pelvic pain, and some blood in the urine.
00:52:25Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and
00:52:28may require intervention.

00:54:04And not just because I look good drinking it.
00:54:06Hello there.
00:54:09The all-day energy I get is good, too.
00:54:11And it's easy on the stomach.
00:54:13But mostly, it's because I look good drinking it.
00:54:15We need to talk.
00:54:17Oh, my God.
00:54:18Dave, you can't ghost your own face.
00:54:19I've seen what you do.
00:54:20I mean the hand soap.
00:54:21That was just one time.

00:55:20Had people not rushed to save me, I would have died.
00:55:23I invited some of the guys I'm closest to to reflect on what we went through and celebrate those we lost.
00:55:29Streaming now on Fox Nation.
00:55:31President not just raising the roof, he's taking a walk on it.
00:55:37An unexpected walk on the White House roof yesterday.
00:55:40Mr. President, why are you doing up there?
00:55:43Taking a little walk.
00:55:45Yeah.
00:55:46Where are you going to move up?
00:55:47I'm here.
00:55:50That's something beautiful.
00:55:52That's another way to spend my money for the country.
00:55:54He loves spending money.
00:55:55He did the flags a couple of weeks ago, just last week.
00:55:58You're going to do the ballroom?
00:55:58Yeah, he just, can I get to that?
00:56:00Oh, sorry.
00:56:00Well, you have to steal my reads all the time.
00:56:03John liked that.
00:56:03The White House announced construction on a massive ballroom.
00:56:06But I'll give you the last part.
00:56:07When's it going to begin?
00:56:08It'll begin in September, Todd.
00:56:10President Trump signing an executive order establishing the White House task force to make the Olympics great again.
00:56:20Trust me, he did.
00:56:21America is a nation of champions, and in July 2028, we'll show the world what America does best, and that's when we're winning like we've never won before.
00:56:32You see that all the time.
00:56:34From a year ago, we were not a country that was doing well, and now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world.
00:56:39And the L.A. Olympics is shaping up to be a wonderful moment for America.
00:56:43It's going to be incredible.
00:56:45It's so exciting.
00:56:46White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly joins us now.
00:56:49Anna, good morning to you.
00:56:50So tell us about this Olympics task force and what it will actually do.
00:56:55Absolutely.
00:56:55Well, this president was instrumental in securing the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics back in his first term.
00:57:04And as he said in his press conference yesterday, he didn't necessarily expect to be in office to see it through, but now he is.
00:57:11And so this White House task force is going to help create this spectacular event that is truly world-class.
00:57:17Of course, this president is a sports enthusiast.
00:57:20He is a champion-level golfer, and he is also a world-class showman.
00:57:24And he is used to putting on these type of global world-class events.
00:57:26And these Olympics, of course, are going to expect upwards of 15 million people to the United States,
00:57:32generating billions and billions of dollars in economic activity for our country.
00:57:37And so there is no one more qualified to see that project through than President Trump through this task force,
00:57:42which is truly going to enlist a whole-of-administration approach to securing a spectacular world-class event.
00:57:49Anna, how will this task force coexist with California leaders,
00:57:53where the games are being held, like Governor Gavin Newsom,
00:57:56and, of course, L.A. Mayor Karen Bass,
00:57:58who, let's say, the administration is often at odds with?
00:58:05Well, look, the president is very clear when it comes to making deals,
00:58:08when it comes to producing world-class events, of course, like this one,
00:58:11that he wants to work with anybody to secure a world-class event.
00:58:15And, of course, the task force not only enlists really key cabinet secretaries,
00:58:18including Christy Noem, Pam Bondi, Marco Rubio,
00:58:21all of these cabinet secretaries who can help enlist a whole-of-government approach again to all of the logistics involved.
00:58:27This is a massive logistics event, and that includes working with state and local leaders.
00:58:32And, by the way, this is also going to generate $700 million in tax revenue for California and for local communities.
00:58:39And so this president is certainly going to work with anybody to ensure that this is a world-class spectacular event
00:58:45that generates all of the pomp and circumstance it deserves.
00:58:48Okay, so we'd love to get your reaction to this op-ed in the San Francisco Chronicle titled
00:58:52Cancel the 2028 L.A. Olympics.
00:58:55It says, let's turn over these games to a world city better positioned to host them.
00:59:00Why on earth should Californians spend our precious time and money on a fascist pageant for our oppressor?
00:59:08Your reaction to that?
00:59:11Well, I'd certainly reject any of those predicates.
00:59:15Look, this is a unifying event for our country and for the entire world.
00:59:19Everyone loves the Olympics.
00:59:21Everyone loves sports, President Trump included.
00:59:24And so, again, this should be a unifying event for our country.
00:59:27And Gavin Newsom should certainly be motivated to help us put together a world-class event
00:59:31because, again, this is going to generate hundreds of millions of dollars for his state, for local communities.
00:59:37And it should showcase all that makes America great and all that makes California great as well.
00:59:41We've got a great set of events coming up.
00:59:44We've got the 250th birthday celebration of our country, of course.
00:59:48We have the World Cup and now we have the Olympics.
00:59:50It is going to be a party in the USA, according to Miley Cyrus.
00:59:54And 2028 is going to be the Olympics and the presidential election.
00:59:56Oh, I keep forgetting about that presidential thing.
00:59:59All right, White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly, thank you so much for joining us.
01:00:05And it was interesting, she was talking about how President Trump got the Olympics during his first term,
01:00:09didn't expect to be the president when the Olympics happened, and he will be.
01:00:14And he signed the executive order yesterday.
01:00:16We can't predict what's going to happen in 2028, but we can predict.
01:00:19Fox & Friends will begin right now.
01:00:26Good.
01:00:27Good.
