02:14The day Mary Jo got her smile back.
02:17Now, Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.
02:21Hello and thanks for joining us.
02:23She begged him to stop.
02:24We're hearing harrowing words from one of actor Timothy Busfield's alleged victims.
02:29She claims when she was 16, he grabbed her and touched her inappropriately inside a theater.
02:35Les Trent has more and we want to warn you, the details are graphic.
02:40Actor Timothy Busfield has just been dropped by his talent agency as his child sex abuse case moves forward
02:46with startling new allegations that there is another victim.
02:50Now, the alleged victim is coming forward releasing this statement.
02:55When I was 16 years old, I interned at B Street Theater.
02:59About four months into the internship, Tim asked me to clean his office.
03:03I was on a ladder cleaning.
03:05He came up behind me and grabbed my crotch.
03:09Pulled me down from the ladder while touching me inappropriately all over aggressively.
03:14I begged him to stop and he told me to be quiet because his son and brother's wife were in the other room.
03:21She says she pushed him away and ran.
03:24In a phone call with Inside Edition, the girl's father calls Busfield a serial pedophile predator
03:29and alleges he is, quote, the Jeffrey Epstein of Hollywood.
03:34The incident allegedly happened in 2001 in Sacramento, but the dad just reported it to police
03:40after learning of Busfield's arrest for allegedly engaging in unlawful sexual conduct with twin brothers
03:48on the set of the TV show The Cleaning Lady.
03:51The prosecution cited in court papers the newest allegations involving the girl
03:56calling Busfield an ongoing danger to any child placed within his proximity.
04:03In a statement, the B Street Theater tells us it was aware of the alleged incident from 25 years ago
04:09and retained legal counsel at the time to conduct an internal investigation.
04:14And Mr. Busfield has not had any role in the organization since 2001.
04:19One, Busfield is denying the allegations.
04:21I'm going to confront these lies.
04:24They're horrible.
04:25They're all lies.
04:26And I did not do anything to those little boys.
04:30His wife, Melissa Gilbert, from Little House on the Prairie fame,
04:33is expressing support for her husband, but remaining out of the public eye.
04:38Meanwhile, fans are showering her social media with supportive posts like
04:42sending love to Melissa.
04:44The first known allegation against Timothy Busfield was in 1994 by a 17-year-old girl.
04:52He denied it, and that case was settled privately.
04:55Today marks exactly one week since 37-year-old Renee Goode was shot and killed by an ICE agent.
05:01Unrest in Minneapolis growing after another ICE-related shooting.
05:06Today, President Trump is threatening to invoke the centuries-old Insurrection Act to stop the chaos.
05:12Fury on the streets of Minneapolis after another shooting involving ICE.
05:19A federal agent ambushed and beaten in Minneapolis.
05:22A federal agent shot a man in the leg during a targeted traffic stop.
05:27One protester repeatedly smashes the windshield of a federal SUV.
05:33Watch as a metal lockbox is ripped out of another federal vehicle.
05:37The crowd stomps and flips it over, trying to smash it open.
05:45It's unclear what's inside.
05:47I believe that those vehicles were FBI vehicles, so I'm not certain what documents were in there
05:51that those criminals may have taken and seen.
05:56Fireworks were thrown at an ICE agent's car, leading to dissension among the protesters.
06:00Go home.
06:12We cannot counter Donald Trump's chaos with our own brand of chaos.
06:18The street chaos erupted last night at 6.50 p.m.
06:21Federal agents say they were conducting a targeted traffic stop of a Venezuelan migrant who resisted arrest.
06:28Agents say the migrant and two others ambushed an officer, striking him with a shovel or broomstick.
06:34The officer fired a defensive shot to defend his life, hitting the migrant in the leg.
06:39Last night what we saw was three individuals weaponized shovels and brooms that attack an ICE officer that had to defend himself.
06:46Today, President Trump is threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act,
06:50giving him the power to send in military forces to quell the unrest.
06:54The Insurrection Act is a tool at the president's disposal.
06:57As you know, it has been used sparingly, but it has been used.
07:02For years, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence never went anywhere without her pet, Chihuahua.
07:07Now she's getting some heat for rehoming the dog because she says it bit her three-year-old son.
07:13So what do you do as a mom if your family pet gets jealous?
07:18Here's Ann Ricagliano.
07:19Jennifer Lawrence, who made such a splash at last Sunday's Golden Globes,
07:24is coming under fire for rehoming her Chihuahua after the dog bit her three-year-old son.
07:31J-Law loved the dog, which she named Princess Pippi Longstocking, and took her everywhere.
07:37But things changed after the little dog bit her son's side.
07:41It's almost like I don't recognize dogs right now.
07:44Like, I just see them as a threat.
07:47And one of them bit my son, and that made me just want to obliterate every dog that's ever.
07:56I'm just like, I'm going to take out you and your whole f***ing family and your f***ing friends.
08:00She was clearly joking about obliterating dogs, but some of her fans immediately pounced on her decision to rehome.
08:07This is awful. This is setting a precedence for so many other people that look up to you to just abandon their fur babies when they have kids.
08:17What is wrong with her take is the lack of accountability.
08:19Dogs biting children is a result of human error, not dog.
08:24But she's also getting lots of support.
08:27In my opinion, Jennifer Lawrence did the best thing for that dog.
08:31Jennifer didn't give her dog to a total stranger.
08:33The dog now lives with her parents, but what the Oscar winner went through is raising all sorts of questions.
08:39What does a parent do when the family dog suddenly bites a child?
08:44Sarah Busser of Rhode Island is in the process of rehoming Russell, her 7-year-old chihuahua pit bull mix.
08:51She says the dog bit a neighbor's kid.
08:54The mom of two says she can relate to J-Law's dilemma.
08:57Being in a very similar situation, I personally feel that your children's safety is of the utmost importance.
09:08We spoke to veterinarian Dr. Timna Lee.
09:11I do believe that J-Law made the right decision by rehoming her pet.
09:15She needed to remove the pet from the situation to protect her child.
09:20Our vet also recommends teaching toddlers not to lunge at a dog or pull on its tail, even if it's meant playfully.
09:28It's video of a man taking his final steps.
09:32The 19-year-old was hiking on Mount Baldy, just 50 miles from downtown Los Angeles, when he fell to his death.
09:38Just one of three bodies found in a single day on that mountain.
09:43Now, as Jim Murray reports, his parents are speaking out, warning of the dangers.
09:47It's haunting video of a young hiker's last day.
09:52It's been a hard hike.
09:53Views are really good.
09:55He recorded this on a perfect sky blue day on California's Mount Baldy.
09:59But soon after the video was taken, 19-year-old Marcus Minch Casanova fell to his death.
10:05Marcus' parents, Ken and Fabiana, tell Inside Edition their son had researched Mount Baldy before he took off on the hike with his buddy.
10:13We let him go.
10:15Believing that he would turn around if it got sketchy.
10:21But it was, I guess, a deceptively beautiful day.
10:24They believe Marcus plummeted to his death after slipping on a sheet of ice on the trail.
10:29It's a beautiful day today in Southern California.
10:31And here in the foothills, Mount Baldy may look like an inviting place to go for a hike.
10:36But authorities warn, before you're tempted, know that 23 people have died here in the last decade.
10:43After Julian Sands died on the mountain in 2023, Marcus' parents tell our Allison Hall that they wish their son had known more about the potential wintertime perils of hiking Mount Baldy.
10:56Why is it so important for you to speak out and talk about Marcus and what happened to him?
11:01If we could just bring awareness to keep, like, just another set of parents from going through the actual hell that we are going through right now.
11:10That's how we work.
11:11And his parents think anyone who hikes Mount Baldy should have to get a permit proving they are experienced on rough terrain.
11:19It was a story that shocked the nation, a wife shot in the face by her husband's young mistress, the shooter dubbed the Long Island Lolita.
11:28The victim, Mary Jo Badafucco, and her husband, Joey, became household names.
11:33Their story now being made into a lifetime movie produced by Mary Jo herself.
11:39After she was left unable to smile because of that gunshot wound, America saw her get her smile back right here on Inside Edition.
11:47It was a crime that sparked a national obsession.
11:5117-year-old Amy Fisher, dubbed the Long Island Lolita, shot the wife of her 36-year-old boyfriend, Joey Badafucco, in the face.
12:01She is a liar. She lies, she lies, she lies.
12:06Mary Jo Badafucco survived, and Amy Fisher was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison.
12:12You are a walking stick of dynamite with the fuse lit.
12:16Joey Badafucco was also sent to jail for six months for having sex with Amy Fisher when she was a minor, and became a punchline.
12:26There are no famous Joey's, except for Joey Badafucco.
12:32Yeah, that guy really hurt us.
12:34Inside Edition was there for every twist and turn in the saga.
12:39Go up to the door, point a gun like this, and keep firing.
12:44This is the woman who tried to murder me in cold blood.
12:48Now, Mary Jo's story is being retold from her point of view in a new Lifetime movie,
12:54I am Mary Jo Badafucco.
12:56Actress Chloe Lanier plays Mary Jo.
12:59Amy Fisher is played by Maddie Hillis.
13:02Do I know you?
13:04That's her.
13:06That's the girl that shot me.
13:07Incredibly, Mary Jo and Joey stayed together for another 10 years before she finally divorced him.
13:14She was left disfigured by the shooting, unable to smile.
13:18I have no feeling on the right side of my head.
13:20In 2017, 25 years after the shooting, Inside Edition was with Mary Jo when she had surgery to repair the shattered nerves in her face.
13:31I'm so excited for you.
13:33She gave a thumbs up as she was taken into the operating room.
13:37The surgery involved testing each microscopic nerve.
13:41The results were stunning.
13:43This is Mary Jo before and after the surgery.
13:47I feel happy.
13:49It's me.
13:51It's me coming back.
13:53As for the Long Island Lolita herself, Amy Fisher is now a 51-year-old divorced mother of three.
13:59We'll be back with much more Inside Edition after this.
14:03Next.
14:04The return of Star Search.

14:26Here's the train.

16:44Now, Star Search is back.
16:46And one of these celebrities are lining up to get their big break.
16:50Star Search is back.
16:53The popular 80s talent competition has been reimagined for a new generation.
16:59Taking the place of the original host, Ed McMahon, is comedian Anthony Anderson.
17:04There's a panel of celebrity judges, including rapper Jelly Roll, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, and model Chrissy Teigen.
17:12This time, America also has a say, voting to pick the big winners.
17:17How do I vote?
17:18Using the remote, mama.
17:20The one in your hand.
17:21The original Star Search started in 1983 and ran for 12 years.
17:26And some of the biggest names today were once contestants.
17:30And they all lost.
17:31Beyonce competed with her girls' group called Girls Time.
17:37After they lost, they went on to become Destiny's Child.
17:40And the rest is history.
17:44Christina Aguilera, she lost.
17:47I called my doctor on the telephone.
17:50So did Justin Timberlake.
17:52We've got to realize.
17:54Marty Thomas was 12 years old when he went head-to-head against a 10-year-old, Britney Spears, in 1992.
18:07He ended up winning.
18:09What was that moment like when they said your name?
18:11I was over the moon that my dream had come true.
18:15But I had also heartbroken for Britney because I knew how it destroyed her at the moment.
18:20Things worked out fine for her.
18:22Yeah.
18:23Even from a young age, Marty knew that Britney would go on to superstardom.
18:28She would stop traffic when she would perform and sing.
18:31She truly has always been an it girl and always has had that star quality.
18:36Did you two stay in touch?

21:21Oh, the majority.
21:22I mean, water is the enemy of a home.
21:25Right.
