'Good times ahead' for Glenlea Park Poll Merinos

Glenlea Park stud principal Joe Murdoch said he's "absolutely wrapped" with the recent sale results.

00:00We're absolutely wrapped with how the sale went today.

00:02We cleared most of the rams and a really healthy average.

00:05It was good to see such a big crowd

00:07and I suppose you never know what could happen

00:10like when purchasing a start-off peat

00:13but it was really humbling to see the amount of support

00:16of clients that have still come and still supported Glenleigh Park

00:19and the Glenleigh Park sheep.

00:20It's probably been a pretty tough 18 months within the industry

00:24but I think we're really out the other side

00:26and most areas have had good rain now.

00:28We're at record lamb prices, record mutton prices

00:31and I can see it being like this for an extended period from now

00:34so good times ahead.
