00:00Hello, I am Mehul Vansil from Kota, Rajasthan.
00:06I am here with my mother, Shekha Vansil, and my aunt, Shapra Vansil, who are also participants
00:12of Life Patch 2, a course at SPJIMR.
00:15So, what's one thing you now talk about at the dinner table that you never used to?
00:22So, what is this thing except for the menu and sabzis?
00:26Has something changed at the dinner table?
00:29Yes, actually, when we have dinner, we ask Mehul, do you want more veg?
00:36Do you want more chapati?
00:37Or how do you feel?
00:38Currently, we talk about how many retails in Proil Enfield,
00:42how many ROs are open, how many customer services have been in proper time.
00:47Same with me, I am also having this experience.
00:49First, we talked with Mehul with general family,
00:52we talked a little bit about chit-bit.
00:54I was thinking, what's happening, what's happening, what's happening.
00:56I have a lot of time, but I feel like Mehul is coming from office,
01:00so some good things will tell me.
01:02And I want to talk about some of my office,
01:04if I want to talk about some of my own,
01:05if I want to talk about some of my own employees,
01:06if I want to talk about some feedback,
01:09or if I want to talk about some of my own case,
01:11then I want to start the discussion.
01:13For me personally, seeing my mother and my aunt coming to the college,
01:18and learning various aspects of this course and business.
01:22Earlier, we used to sit on the dinner table and talk about,
01:27that I don't like this at home today.
01:29I don't like this at home,
01:30or that's it.
01:31Today, we still talk about,
01:32that I have a problem with my mom today,
01:34and how can I help me with this?
01:36How can I help me with this?
01:37How can I guide me with this?
01:38Whether it's a legal inspector,
01:39whether it's HR inspector,
01:40whether it's a finance inspector.
01:41At the end of the day,
01:42I can dig and add value from the insights of my mother and my aunt in the business.
01:47Okay, here's the next one.
01:49So, one thing that the program you are part of,
01:54has helped you to discover about your business and yourself.
01:58So, tell me one thing.
02:00Actually, currently, I am leading CX and HR department,
02:04Mahindra and Mahindra.
02:05But, from this program,
02:07I thought,
02:08that I have created a new vision.
02:10Currently, when we do practices,
02:12how can we do it better?
02:14So, I got that vision,
02:16with the help of this program,
02:18how can we apply new ideas and new strategies?
02:21Through this program,
02:22I have prepared an NVC project
02:24in the hotel and hospitality field.
02:26This project,
02:28I got personal growth,
02:30as well as it's a family business,
02:33a very good platform.
02:35So, my existing business,
02:37which is our automobiles business,
02:39which is the last 35-year-old,
02:41which we are doing,
02:42for its legacy,
02:43for its royalty,
02:44and its growth,
02:46and its identification.
02:47It's also a very good platform,
02:49where I am discussing my family business,
02:51and also,
02:52for personal growth.
02:53I have prepared a new assignment in NVC,
02:55in the hotel and hospitality field,
02:57where I will diversify my business,
02:59and bring growth on a platform.
03:01Again,
03:03me personally saying,
03:04both my mother and my aunt,
03:06they are working on new fields,
03:09new aspects,
03:10they are diversifying our business,
03:12and with their development and research,
03:14in the new exploring fields,
03:16they are opening a new channel for us,
03:18they are providing us with a platform,
03:20they are giving us guidelines,
03:21a baseline,
03:22and they are providing us an environment
03:24of productive and healthy knowledge,
03:27in the family.
03:28So,
03:29with their insights,
03:30and experience,
03:31over the years,
03:32and now,
03:33that they have come to the institute,
03:34for final brushing up,
03:35and upscaling their skills.
03:37We,
03:38as the children of the family,
03:39we are learning a lot,
03:40in terms of knowledge,
03:42and a healthy business development.
03:44I would like to,
03:45you know,
03:46ask you one thing,
03:48that you wish,
03:49every business family,
03:51could experience,
03:52from the CFB Center,
03:54that is the Center for Family Business,
03:56and Entrepreneurship.
03:57So,
03:58as per my view,
03:59I am not saying,
04:00because I am female,
04:01I am saying that,
04:02because in business family,
04:03we need to improve our thinking,
04:05and improve our thinking,
04:06and we need to enter into the business.
04:09Because,
04:10females,
04:11there are new strategies,
04:14and new ideas,
04:15that we will apply,
04:16so,
04:17we can take a lot of success.
04:19In the course of FMB,
04:20I would like to say,
04:21that,
04:22your personal business,
04:23or your structure,
04:25or organization,
04:27you should discuss it with your faculty,
04:30as a case study,
04:31because,
04:32if it is a case study,
04:33as a case study,
04:34as a case study,
04:35as a case study,
04:36as a case study,
04:37as a case study,
04:38then,
04:40that,
04:42the problem that exists,
04:43or the pain points,
04:45that we help,
04:46in the truth,
04:47the pain points,
04:48that we really help.
04:49Whatever faculty,
04:50it is very educated,
04:51and they have so much experience,
04:52that,
04:53if we keep our pain points,
04:55we will try to resolve it,
04:57so,
04:58this platform,
04:59practical learning,
05:00is actually,
05:01our case study,
05:02our situation,
05:03and existence,
05:04when we present it,
05:05then it will be resolved.
05:07And,
05:08the bookish knowledge,
05:09you can do it with Google,
05:10and ChatGPT,
05:11so,
05:12I thought,
05:13that,
05:14that,
05:15that,
05:16that,
05:17that,
05:18that,
05:19that,
05:20that,
05:21that,
05:22that,
05:23that,
05:24that,
05:25that,
05:26that,
05:27influence Fat timah,
05:29the powerful thing,
05:30that,
05:31is to show the strength
05:32of our business,
05:34without cyber in terms of power,
05:35definitely.
05:36Or,
05:37t he a trademark,
05:38had no bonito,
05:39he's officiap登録,
05:40not only,
05:42he's a princess politician,
05:43the existent people,
05:44are etti.
05:45We really,
05:46that,
05:47as a witness,
05:48we're seeking,
05:49now,
05:50we can treat this,
05:51a friend to do this,
05:53always possible to be seen,
05:54our family and organization should always be used as a strength now that my mother and my aunt have
06:00joined the business and they are actively taking part and participating in our day-to-day operations
06:05they have become a shield for us they are working on the field on the ground identifying those
06:12subjects and gray areas in our institutions where we could have never thought that this
06:17can be destroyed that we can't reach here my father my uncle my grandfather we are in our
06:24day-to-day lifestyle occupied with a lot of things and there are a lot of gray areas which we miss in
06:30the process while running our businesses we have got an extra set of hands who is now helping us in
06:35the business they are bandit is a small word but whenever we get a cut on our body a wound on our
06:41body we use that bandit to fix it so i term my mother and my aunt as a bandit to us they are
06:47always fixing and healing us from the leakages of our business so who in the family is most likely
06:53to say during the business meeting so this tagline is never going to change
07:00my daughter Kaushal Bansal is my mentor and they have motivated us both of the females
07:06that you both go and do this course and you will have coordination and you will have skill development
07:12that's so good to hear and good to know you know that's really great actually
07:25actually one day my father-in-law has shared my passion for a day i want to join my father
07:31and that's my passion i want to become a woman entrepreneur so my father-in-law
07:35has said that you can try and do it i have a lot of struggle from one year two years
07:40and sometimes in the third year i have achieved my designation
07:45after that my father-in-law with my family and my family supporters
07:49who got the success after that my father-in-law is very proud that my father-in-law is very proud
07:56and he is so happy and he is very modern
08:08thinker and we really appreciate his support
08:13continuing further on the subject my grandfather is the most visionary person i have met in my entire life
08:19my mother she had two children and after that she did her mba from home at distance learning and she
08:27completed her mba with two children at home as a homemaker same goes for my aunt she also completed
08:34her mba post marriage after having children so my grandfather is the most progressive visionary man
08:41you can ever come across you can talk to him about anything he's open for all the gen c and millennial
08:46topics he'll go old school he'll tell all his village tales or he'll talk about the latest news which is
08:51going around so yeah that is so if you had to uh give one uh rajasthanic gyan ki baat to your next
09:01generation in business what would it be as a mother jabi bhi man and you will inspire karne ke liye
09:07foreign
09:14so
09:28He should spend his money on his own.
09:31If he is a man, he will spend his money on his own.
09:35If he is a man, he will spend his money on his own.
09:38But that was his time.
09:41He also listened to him.
09:42But as a mother, I have never been able to adapt in my life.
09:47Because it's okay.
09:48I would like to say to Mihul,
09:50why don't you want to be so big,
09:53you don't want to be disappointed in that water.
09:57Because we don't know what's going on.
10:01To analyze the business first,
10:03to understand it.
10:04To not go to friends,
10:06to understand them first.
10:08Because we don't know what's going on.
10:11Where can we do it.
10:13So as a mother, I would like to say,
10:16to take risks is a good thing,
10:18but to analyze the risks is also very important.
